Stopped by here yesterday for the first time. We got here late for lunch, but did get some meat on a stick and it was very good. This is a small store but has plenty of what you need. The owner was very nice and helpful. They made us feel like family and had us laughing 😁 thank you for your help and info on your stuff.

This place has been a staple for Filipino goods for a very long time. We come here on Fridays for the fresh vegetables and seafood, as well as their pre-packed Filipino home-cook style food. The store is not big, the selection is smaller than many stores but they make it up with friendly familiarity. It is like a sari-sari store feel just like in the Philippines.

Walked in there for the first time - no one greeted us at all or even bat an eye towards us. walked around for a solid 5 mins and still nothing. They need to work on their customer service.

Last time I was here, I got charge an item that I did not purchase, not very nice. Always check your receipt before signing!

They have pretty much everything they can fit in a very limited space.

Had spicy fish sinagang, with white rice... delicious. Restocked on my pancuit noodles and soup packets.

Please come in here to get your Olympia papers so you can make egg rolls properly come in here and talk to the little nice lady that sits in there and helps you with anything that you need be kind to each other it doesn't cost anything don't forget to be mindful each of each other and be kind God loves us all

Glad I found this small Filipino store closeby!!! It's a small store but packed with every Filipino food or condiments you constantly use. They also have frozen food like milkfish, hotdog , fishball, & few fresh veggies. In addition they have packed cooked food & some native beauty items. This is now go to store!

This hidden gem is located off 410 near Lackland AFB. Pearl of the Orient is a Filipino grocery store that also sells cooked Filipino food during the day. It is a small sized grocery store, but has almost everything you will need to make Filipino dishes from fresh vegetables to meats. If you love Goldilocks (a popular Filipino bakery), then keep in mind that they actually sell select Goldilocks products here. They restock their Goldilocks inventory once a week, typically on Friday so try to come by at the end of the week.

Awesome customer service. Love Friday because they will clean the Fish and cut however you like. Also have a great variety of vegetables.

Love this place. Reasonable price. Home cook meal is the best. Kind of hole in the wall but just simply good.

Nice place to stop by for a quick lunch. Super friendly owner and the pork caldereta was on point! Definitely gonna drop by this Saturday for some sisig!

Filipino market that sells cooked food!!! They have a small selection of filipino groceries and fresh veggies at the back( kangkong, kalabasa, ampalaya) And don't miss out Every friday is $5.00 home cooked filipino food, must try this place you will love it!!

Came in here expecting the typical Filipino hospitality. Nope, a older lady said we don't serve any food right now. Maybe she's tired, IDK but it's sad when I was referred to check out this restaurant but first impression is very important. Not going back to this place, at least the dude at the cashier was okay. Just disappointed as a filipino, expected better service.

Now open on Sundays! This place has the best Sisig in San Antonio I believe. They don't make it every weekend, so It's great to call them and reserve an order. One order is good for one person, and it comes with rice. If Sisig is not your thing, they have other pre-cooked foods on the counter any given weekend I've been there. They have the usual Mongo, Pancit, Pinakbet, and usually some kind of dried or fried fish. The price is very good for the food. I guess you could compare it to what you would typically pay at a Filipino, clean and hygienic, Carendaria. You can choose to eat in the store or take home, Everyone is super nice and TFC is blasting (^_^). I like this place and I hope you do too!
