Very helpful wine enthusiasts work here! I learn so much every time I go in and get great recommendations. They have a free sign up system to see what wines you’ve ordered in the past which is helpful if you had forgotten what you bought last time.

Everything you could want out of a liquor + wine + beer neighborhood shop. Knowledgeable staff, curated selections and perfect local vibe. Extra points for the expansive cheese, meat, cracker and Denver pop selections. Christina puts together the nicest gift options as well, including great selections for holidays and birthdays.

I went into Pearl Wine Co earlier in the week for a few bottles of wine to pair with a dinner party I was hosting. I was greeted right when I walked in and told the store employee what I needed. The service exceeded my expectations!! I told him what I was cooking and we chatted about the different options that would pair well. I left with bottles that I hadn’t tried before and were right in my price range. My guests were super impressed with the wine I chose with the help of Pearl! They also have a great spirits selection, especially whiskey!

Ferrari of Denver and the Ferrari Club of America - Colorado Chapter were fortunate to have had Dustin Chiappetta lead our food and wine pairing this last weekend at Steamboat Food & Wine Festival. His knowledge and portfolio of wines he represents were absolutely fantastic. You can't find a better representative in the wine industry with the patience to advise and the knowledge to thrill. I highly recommend meeting Dustin and supporting his business.

We were visiting Denver and found this shop after enjoying the Pearl Street Farmer's market. The person working there was so friendly and knowledgeable. They helped us pick the perfect wine to go with our farmer market treats. There was a range of prices on the wines and they had a very interesting selection of sausages (meat and plant based) as well as cheese. Wonderful vibe and great selection. We will stop by again when next in Denver.

Small shop, but an extremely thoughtful selection. They carry some of the best things you'll find in Denver. Blown away from the great options and rotation of beers. Always a must stop when in the area. Owner/staff are some of the greatest/most knowledgeable folks you'll ever meet in the industry.

My favorite wine shop... I live about 3 blocks from this shop and my favorite thing to do is bring the family down to get some sweet cow while mommy picks up a lovely bottle of wine. Prices are great. They have a good selections from affordable to high end. My husband went in to buy a bottle of champagne to celebrate a big accomplishment and the owner Dustin helped him pick one that changed our life! Haha ok maybe not life changing but it definitely was the BEST. I have gotten some help picking wines, I have gotten suggestion for food/wine pairing. Walking into pearl wine company is like walking to your super cool friends house that know everything about wine! Take a second and stop in! Admire the shop, chat with the employees grab a bottle of wine and plan your next trip back! Oh and if you can stop in for a wine or liquor sampling.. such a fun little event!

Stopped in here the other day and it's a beautiful shop and has a very nice selection. Only downside of this shop is almost every bottle is marked up higher than almost any other store I've been to. For example I saw they had a Volpaia Chianti Classico for 28 bucks and at Argonaut that same bottle is 17. Another of my favorite bottles Chateau De Beaucastel Chateauneuf-du-Pape is 95 dollars here vs 85 other places. One more of my favorite bottles Domaine Faury Collines Rhodaniennes Syrah is 33 here and 25 other places. I'm all for supporting small business, but you're paying anywhere from a 12% to 55% up charge on bottles of wine here. Unfortunately this place is way way too expensive to be a regular stop for me.

I love this store and recommend it to all wine lovers. Wonderful wine selection and impressive spirits selection. The store is very organized and easy to navigate. And if you need help picking something out, the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Great shop. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, very good selection of beer and wine, and they offer singles of beer as well. Turned a couple friends on to Pearl too, and they also seem to like the shop. Worth checking out for sure.

Pearl wine co is a family business working to promote other small family businesses in the industry. People deserve to be paid what their product is worth! Always a great selection. Love this place!!

It's alright. I'm specifically writing a review for their Fitzsimmons location. The exterior is nice and they have decent charcuterie ingredients, but their service is bizarre! I wish I had a better word to use, but their employees truly act as if you're doing a disservice by shopping in their establishment. I guess because it's a hipster bike/liquor shop they can ignore you as part of their brand? Their wine selection is decent, nothing too spectacular, I'd go there in an absolute pinch but otherwise, avoid. Just meh overall.

Crazy up charge on their liquor. Do yourself a favor and do price comparison before buying. I purchased three bottles of liquor and every one was heavily marked up, one bottle I bought here for $46 and the same size bottle is in other stores for $28!!!! I'm so upset, I didn't think I'd have to do my homework to not get taken advantage of. Oh and the seal to my gin was already open.

Driving home from work a different route, I saw this shop for the first time. Parking is tough on this block, but I drove around the block and parked across the street. It is laid out well and nicely presented, but the staff person in the shop made no effort to assist or sell to me. I asked if they had organic wines. His answer was really perplexing. He said "95% of the wines in the shop are organic or bio-dynamic." Yet, not one was labeled as organic, nor did he bother to show me or point me to anything organic. He also said that most certified organic wines "throw anything they can on their vines to yield as much as possible" inferring that organic wines aren't actually organic. What? I saw exactly one bottle under $15, so this shop is not for the price conscious shopper. I also asked about organic beers, and he had no input on that at all. For the price, one would expect a more knowledgeable assist and someone who actually enjoys making a sale. :-( Oh, well. I'll stick to the options that stock and separate organic wines and beers.

Went here cause of the reputation. Two employees asked me if I had questions. I declined; I think I know enough about most wines to make a good decision. I bought a Barola for $18. It wasn't the most expensive one I ever bought by a wide margin - but definately the worst. I expected this shop to sort through the wines they sell; shocked I bought one which was sooooo bad. (and it wasn't oxidized, it was just awful). Doubtful I will ever return.

Nice set up but they price gouged a 4 pack of sours that is 20 there and 15 everywhere else. They are definitely taking advantage of the location.

Love the selection of old world wines. Staff is very helpful and always makes good recommendations. There are good choices for your preferred price range. The store is between Park Burger and Sweet Cow Ice cream. Three of my favorite places. I recently ordered through the app and picked up curbside. Very simple and efficient. Support this great local spot.

The red head woman that was there was very disrespectful and didn't want to sell my friend liquor because I didn't have my ID. When I told her I had it on my phone she said ok then told me to go get it because I said I lived up stairs and when I said I didn't want to go upstairs she said she wouldn't sell it to us. This had nothing to do with me and my friend wasn't able to buy the alcohol because she was in her feelings. Like she shouldn't work there if she can't control her feelings. She's awful and I'm going to tell The Fremont, where I live, about their rude employee and tell my friends to not come to pearl because that lady was awful for no reason. Trash service!

Some of theorems are a little pricey but others aren't. A very good wine and whiskey selection. A good number of other spirits and cocktail making items as well.

I had to consult at length with boyfriend to discuss our mutual experience at the Pearl Wine Company. With so many five star reviews, I had to really check my experiences with another person to validate to myself this place deserves a three star rating. We each have been in the store probably a half a dozen times individually, but never together. In our experience has been the same. Not so great... First, the shop is literally 40 paces from my house. It should be a weekly stop for me (if not daily). They have newly remodeled the shop and it is slick and clean and full of a nice variety of wines in a very reasonable range of prices.. This should be a five star destination that I go to very often, however I don't. I choose to drive to friendlier wine shops all over town rather than to step foot in here. What blows it? Simply, they are not friendly. In fact, one could go so far as to say that they are slightly rude and offhand. I have never experienced a friendly greeting or had a positive human interaction experience in the store, and the proprietor acts though he doesn't really care for my business. It's hard to plunk down money when they don't really want it. Boyfriend went in one time after we had purchased a bad bottle of wine, it had turned to vinegar, and the proprietor shrugged his shoulders and said oh well. Anyway, after realizing how I really feel about this shop, I probably will make great strides to go elsewhere where I'm treated civilly, if not nicely!

Cute shop, in a cute location. Despite the small size, the variety of wines available was impressive. Not a great selection of chilled wines, however. Maybe adding one more cooler would remedy this. Anyway, the reason I was prompted to write this review: the terrible customer service. I know some people do not necessarily want to work during the super bowl, so maybe that was the reason for this staff member's unwelcome demeanor and abrasiveness? However, when I come to a smaller wine shop like this, I expect it to be somewhat more expensive than alternative stores, but this is typically paired with knowledgeable staff who are open to helping with my wine selection. It becomes an experience and it's how I've found most of my favorite wines. Needless to say, this is not that type of wine shop, and you may even be verbally insulted by the cashier as you purchase your overpriced bottle of vino like I was. Oh, and the Chardonnay was very mediocre, so maybe just shop elsewhere.

I have been shopping at Pearl Wine for a year now and I love their selection. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Austin has been trying to remember my name for the wine club the past few months and at one point had it, but I'll probably have to remind him next time I go in. He's still a cool dude though. In non-COVID times Pearl Wine offers tastings which is really neat. Lots of tasty beers and ciders. We love Haykin Family Cider and Pearl Wine carries a lot of their bottles. Also, check out their cheese and crackers. Such a good idea and seriously delicious. I have seen reviews about prices being high but you can rest easy knowing the wine selections they are bringing to the table are bar none. A honestly good local shop. 10/10. Would recommend. Support Local!!!!

This is such a great wine shop! The staff is so friendly and welcoming and they really know their wines. All wines are from smaller, family owned wineries around the globe. They will select wines and other libations based on your palate and always have multiple suggestions in various price ranges. I would highly recommend visiting this community based wine shop. You won't be disappointed!

A neighborhood store that is packed to the gills with a well thought selection of very great wines at fair prices. Sure, I could go somewhere with more parking or that also sells groceries, but this shop is always worth the visit. The staff's knowledge and passion really make them standout. Jared is extremely helpful and friendly - I'll be back often.

I'm am here maybe 2 times a week (walking distance from the house). If you're into craft beers, this is the place! It's hard NOT to walk away with three 6-packs! And there is new stuff each time I go. The boys know about their brews! The staff is friendly and greet you when you walk in. It's such a gorgeous upscale place, but they are anything but snooty!

My sister in law that works at an exclusive winery in California was visiting and wanted to try some local wines. We thought perhaps we had found the right place. Pearl Wine Company is in a beautiful store in amazing location. It's just too bad that the attitude of the employees don't match. Instead of being welcomed by a friendly face, you feel as though you are burdening them with your presence. Sadly, she was let down and we left the store looking for a better experience. Update: I was contacted by the owner of PWC, Dustin, and he was great. He really cares about his store. Wine isn't a job for him, it's his passion.

I love this store! They are super knowledgable and happy to help you find a bottle of wine in your price range that will go well with whatever food you might be having or that will suit your mood. There are wines in different price ranges and plenty of great ones for under $20. They know so much about each winery they source from and I appreciate that they are thoughtful about the types of wines they carry (lots of organic options, for example). I have never purchased beer or liquor here, so can't speak to that but it's my go-to place when I want wine for a special occasion. Check out their Wednesday evening wine tastings!

We went to the wine tasting at Kaos Pizzeria today and it was awesome, lots of fun, great wine and good pizza. Found some good wine that I never would have bought on my own, got my list to place my order.

Love this wine shop not only because it is walking distance from my home but they have a great selection of wines from family owned vineyards. Staff is super helpful. My wife and I stop in at the Pearl Wine Company probably too often, but that's because of the wonderful selection and amazing staff (and we love wine)!! This is our favorite wine, beer, and liquor shop in Denver - we rarely shop anywhere else. Dustin, the owner, is always welcoming and has some of the best suggestions for wines, liquor, and beer, and their new charcuterie alcove and selection of mixers is awesome! My go-to-guy for craft beer is Jared - after just a few interactions, he knows my palette and always recommends the perfect brew for grilling, mowing the lawn, or just hanging out. Kristin has become our wine guru - she knows what we like, at what price point, and never fails to make wonderful recommendations that we would have never thought about or considered. They also have a very nice selection of liquors including vodka, whiskey, bourbon, gin, and things you may have never heard of! Also, they are sandwiched between Sweet Cow ice cream and Park Burger, and right across the street from Platt Park Brewery and Quiero Arepas - so you can get food, drinks, and desert all in one location. Wine Not Wednesday, Craft Beer Friday, and Spirit Saturday are always a fun way to taste new wines, beer, and liquor, sometimes seasonal or paired with wine, cheese, crackers, or ice cream! And always delicious!! They host a number of other social events and are committed to the growth, prosperity, and success of the neighborhood. There are certainly other places to buy booze, but we believe that the knowledge, experience, and friendliness of the Pearl Wine Company sets it apart from any other wine store that we have visited in the area, and we are happy to support a local business with excellent quality and service!! A great neighborhood wine (and charcuterie!) shop where the selection is extensive and well thought out, the staff are universally knowledgeable, and prices are reasonable. On numerous occasions I've gone in with only a vague description of what I wanted (a whiskey for sipping neat and as Old Fashionds, a red blend with a lot of Zin, a gift for a backyard barbeque) and have walked out with the perfect thing! They're dog friendly too, which is nice in winter when I don't want to leave my pup outside when I want to duck in on the middle of our walk.

I love shopping at Pearl Wine Company! They have a great selection of interesting wines (probably the best selection of Rosè in town) and they carry my favorite beer (Elevation Brewing's 8 Second Kolsch). The staff is friendly, knowledgable and service is consistently top notch.

Such a great neighborhood spot, they have an amazing selection and everyone who works here is very knowledgeable and always willing to help you find great wine. They having tastings a few nights a week which is always a fun addition. This is my go to spot for a good bottle of wine or if I'm looking to find something new to try!

Beautiful shop with an excellent selection. The beer, spirits, and wine are all expansive and the employees are knowledgeable and friendly. Josh took the time to walk me through some of the whiskeys and was extremely helpful. We purchased his selection and it was fantastic. Truly a gem of a wine shop.

Pearl Wine Co. is an amazing shop that features wine from family owned wineries. Don't be intimidated however! The wine is affordable and the staff are so inviting, knowledgeable, classy yet laid back. The PWC has weekly wine tastings and the wine maker is usually there unless it's harvest time at the Vineyard. How cool is that!?

What a great addition to the Platt Park neighborhood! I LOVE the bargain wine section and the interesting local ciders. My latest favorite has been the rose table. What's better than a bottle of wine after a burger at Park Burger and ice cream at Sweet Cow!?

My wife and I walked in last week. The selection of unique wines and beers was quite surprising. I'm not an expert, but the prices seemed pretty fair. The owner was very helpful but not overbearing, he clearly knows his stuff. The store itself is really cool, and the owner said he was expanding to double the size in February, we are excited to see what else he's bringing in. We will be returning. The new addition is really nice. We love this place!

Pearl Wine Company provided the alcohol for our wedding and it was perfect! They were so helpful planning with us and it was fun to be given recommendations of wine to try along the journey. Dustin and Josh were so helpful and we felt we were in good hands. Our guests were blown away by the alcohol selection and we are grateful for their service!

Great selection and recommendations. Cool laid back atmosphere. The owner is very willing to help and we had some great compliments at thanksgiving on the wine he picked out for us. They also had Sculpin IPA from Ballast Point which is one of my favorite beers and many others that I had never seen before. Looks like they are expanding so that is great!!!

Great new wine store! We went in to find wines for our Thanksgiving meal. The owner was very welcoming and knowledgeable. He took the time to walk through the store with us, selected a variety of wines and described each one in detail. All of the wines in the store have been hand selected with a focus on vineyards that have been family run for generations. I can't recommend Pearl Wine Co. enough! We will be back.

Pearl wine provided all the alcohol for our wedding! We shopped around to compare prices with other distributors, they turned out to have the best prices and really helped us choose the best quality product!The owner, Dustin, worked with us directly and just made it so easy! They delivered the alcohol to our venue as well! We are so thankful for the service and product we received.

Love this great store! Dustin has such a fantastic selection and the pricing couldn't be better - if you want the top of the top shelf or just an easy wine to drink, he has it all. Can't say enough good things about pearl wine company. The gal working, trish is her name, was super knowledgeable and they have the best selection of wine and spirits for a small store. The decor was also spot on and made it hard to leave. All together a great experience!
