Nothing like the neighborhood feel of this friendly, family-run spot in Glen Park! Excellent, authentic Brazilian food, from fresh Açai bowls to made-from-scratch Pão de Queijo and more, you can't go wrong at Pebbles Cafe. Little known secret: they also make superb hot sauces!

Pebbles Cafe is located across from the Bart Glen Park train station. Pebbles Cafe is also located in the cute and quaint neighborhood called Glen Park. My experience eating lunch and drinking CHAGA at Pebbles Cafe was very positive. My introduction to CHAGA was a pleasant surprise. CHAGA is a hot mushroom beverage that can be ordered with or without caffeine. I chose no caffeine. According to the barista, a cup of CHAGA has 1104 Orac per gram. A nuclear immune booster. While enjoying lunch at Pebbles Cafe, I ordered a SFIHA. This empanada was filled with potatoes, ground beef, onions, and cilantro. This meal is served with a light chipotle sauce. I give the SFIHA 5 stars. The interior seating has 5 tables and chairs on the sidewalk for lounging. I highly recommend a visit. The CHAGA is 10 stars.

This place is wonderful. Food is reasonably priced given today’s economy, and the person at the register was very nice. I had a Medium Latté and a Turkey sandwhich. I spent around $15 (with tip). Sandwich was phenomenal; the bread was toasted which was unexpected and a pleasant surprise. The latté uses a very neutral bean; not floral nor fruity, but not on the other end of the flavor note extreme. The barista/register man didn’t burn the espresso too, which is always nice. Worth every penny.

Google
Amazing place! Great Acai bowls and the Coxinha was amazing!

I love their coffee and gluten free cheese bread (it's chewy like mochi!). Very cozy and warm vibe :)

Google
cute little store offering breakfast an lunch - had an acai and a bagel :) loved the acai!

Great acai bowl and service. Will be back to try other things on the menu for sure.

Google
Coffee was not good, smelled really bad, and not the cleanest place. If you want good coffee and better atmosphere go across the street to bello. The barista here was very friendly though.

Yelp
When it comes to coffee I like to try different varieties of coffee and for me it's my new jam is the mushroom coffee. Pebbles Cafe in Glen Park Village has the magical mushroom coffee boost. The Chagaccino coffee contains cacao, chago, cinnamon , and vanilla. Pebbles is a Brazilian establishment which those who know Brazil is the #1 producer of coffee in the world it produces about 40% of the world's coffee( Vietnam is #2 just to let you know ). The Chagaccino is not too sweet for sure and is more on roasted side which has a traditional coffee flavor. This is also a good place to grab my favorite superfood the Acai bowl. My go to Acai bowl is the Zico it has strawberries , and Acai strawberry blend, blackberries, blueberries, peanut butter and walnuts and I go to town (city) when I have this Acai bowl in front of me. The not too sweet juicy fruits with the savory smooth peanut butter makes this bowl so divine . Each bite is a delight. The Acai bowls here have different variety of flavors are all worth trying and have a strong kick ( most of the Acai bowls are named after soccer players). This is also the place where can get a tuna sandwich under $10 and a tuna melt with cheese for under $10 ( a value in San Francisco). They do have a secret sauce available and made by the owner. They offer a Peruvian hot sauce which is good to put on chicken. This is a great place to grab a Acai bowl , coffee, sandwich , and smoothie. This place is golden and shines like World Cup trophy . Come to Pebbles Cafe for the hard kicking Acai bowl After a few bites and sips of the organic mushroom coffee your mind and soul well be saying " Goal"

Yelp
Cute Brazilian cafe with local flavors right by Glen bart station. Our car was being serviced for the day so we took bsrt to Glen stop and wanted to take a hike around the canyon park so we stopped first for a quick breakfast. A popular spot to grab a coffee and something to eat. They offer some Brazilian options, bagels and acai bowls! Cute and cozy and family run. The bagels honestly were ok - I make sourdough bagels at home so we are a bit spoilt when it comes to bagels taste. But the Brazilian options were nice. Probably try the acai bowls and the empanadas which we missed trying with their homemade sauce.

Yelp
I think this is the third Brazilian cafe in SF I've been to (with the other two being Cafe de Casa in the Castro and Sunstream Coffee on Geary) and I say bring it on. I really enjoy savory Brazilian baked goods and the ones at Pebbles are totally solid. We got a kibbeh, a beef empanada, and a coxinha and all three were great. Their hot sauce is also quite tasty.

Yelp
For my Brazilian people in the Bay, this place is BRAZILIAN OWNED and they make their own malagueta house sauce which is actually perfect with their empadas. They even have vegeterian empadas with palmito (heart of palm) and cheese, as well as tomate seco (sundried tomato) and cheese. Don't miss out on their variety of Açaí bowls named after Fútbol's greats like Marta and Neymar. This is a family run business of lovely people who make you feel right at home! The space is cozy, and really close to bart, or perfect for a snack after a hike through the Glen Park Canyon!

Casey F.

Yelp
Quaint small family run business with delicious Brazilian offerings. They also do delicious smoothies that help you recover from the hot sauce. The hot sauce is amazing btw.

Yelp
A first impression is so important and not just on a blind date. I went on a blind date when I was a confused teenager and still remember how she used a toothpick to clean her teeth. And she wasn't even finished with her Happy Meal. But I digress as I thought this Glen Park business just served coffee and other generic lunch items that any number of coffee spots do all over the city. However, what I wasn't aware of until my third visit was that it's really a Brazilian cafe in disguise. Gee, I didn't think I needed a mural of Carmen Miranda to let me know that, and I was perfectly content with the Low Fat Mocha I've ordered on my previous visits (photo: https://bit.ly/3L7mmv0). The Brazilian part of the menu is hidden under the Featured Items section and more prominently in the wide variety of Brazilian acai bowls they offer. The featured items include dim sum-like items like coxinha (shredded chicken and cheese stuffed in a deep-fried dough) and empadas (chicken and vegetarian pie options). On my latest visit, I actually tried the $3 Pao de Queijo (Cheese Bread) which got me a pair of piping hot balls with gooey cheese inside (photo: https://bit.ly/3rHdowx). I also tried the $8.50 Pebbles Salad, which was a nice plateful of freshness with Mixed greens, cucumber, tomato, bacon, turkey, hard-boiled egg, and avocado slices (photo: https://bit.ly/3OtupnE). It was accompanied by an Italian dressing which it frankly didn't need. It took three visits, but I finally know there's more than coffee served here. FOOD - 4 stars...tasty stuff with a Brazilian accent AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...honestly looks like a coffee spot to me but at least with tables SERVICE - 4.5 stars...always friendly and forthcoming TOTAL - 4 stars...coming back for more Brazilian treats as well as the coffee RELATED - Exploring the Outer Mission? Yelp
Pebbles is so amazing! I got a Turkey, avocado, tomato bagel and added plain cream cheese. It's one of the best bagels I've ever had. The cream cheese was cold while the bagel was freshly toasted so the flavors and temperatures of the ingredients contrasted really well. The bagel did feel a little small, but with some coffee or a drink, I think it'd be really filling. I kind of preferred that it's not super gigantic or hard to eat and it's a manageable portion even though I could've eaten a little bit more. Overall, it was really good and the ingredients tasted really fresh. Also, the cashier is so kind and respectful whenever I've talked to them. The service is really fast and speedy and I feel like the price point is comparable to other bagel places, and a lot cheaper than ordering a bagel online through door dash or Grubhub. Definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Yelp
COVID-19 TAKEOUT Some people get their panties wet with the new new, the hot and new, instagrammable walls, opulent chandeliers, aesthetics, and/or hype. *RAISES HAND* So, we may ignore/overlook local businesses without the photogenic plates and drinks, and aesthetic goals. I'm guilty of this. I live nearby and for years, I've passed by Pebbles Cafe but never stepped foot inside because I thought it was your run-of-the-mill, neighborhood cafe. I had no clue they serve Brazilian Salgadinhos until I recently saw them listed on a 3rd party delivery app. After my nearby appointment, I popped into Pebbles Cafe to grab some Brazilian Salgadinhos. They're offering takeout, delivery, and dine-in (several small tables). No outdoor seating. M E N U * Brazilian Salgadinhos (kept in warmer): Coxinha, Kibe, Empada, and Pão de Queijo * Açaí bowls * Bagels * American breakfast and lunch sandwiches * Salads * Smoothies * Coffee & Tea B R A Z I L I A N S A L G A D I N H O S ***Items listed from fav to least fav * Coxinha: Brazilian Chicken Croquette ($4) Best item of the four! The coxinha was still warm by the time I got home and settled in. The fried dough was crunchy and generously filled with a creamy, savory chicken filling. Delicious and satisfying. GET THIS! * Chicken Empada ($4) Baked Brazilian "empanada" with a similar filling to the Coxinha but with the addition of corn and olives. Pair it with a small salad at home, and you have yourself a meal. If you're extra hangry, two empadas should do. Beef empada also available. * Pão de Queijo: Brazilian Cheese Bread (2 pc - $2.50) While they were still warm, I ate one in the car before driving home. Hard and sturdy crust with a mochi-like chewy center. Good salty cheese flavor but denser than my preference. Available by pairs only. * Kibe: Brazilian Beef Croquette ($4) Got the last one in the warmer so I was happy about that until I tasted it. I think it had been sitting in the warmer for awhile, as the bulgur exterior was hard and ground beef filling was dry. I'm sure if I came before noon, it would have been fresher. Make sure to ask for hot sauce for dipping! S E R V I C E The guy who helped me wasn't the friendliest but hey, it was a Monday. I'm kicking myself for sleeping on Pebbles Cafe all these years. It's a nice gem in the neighborhood that's worth the pit stop for Brazilian Salgadinhos!

Yelp
the acai bowls (any of them) are gasssss I came to Pebbles for the first time with a friend who suggested we go for a coffee&breakfast, and we got an açaí bowl and some pao de quejo to split. wonderful place for a wonderful fall morning with a friend

Yelp
Ok.. Quick walk in Glen Park to raise the low blood sugar. Stopped in somewhere new because I saw they had some pre-made little pastry type dishes. OMG...ordered the Beef & spices little savory treat (Keeby) .... EXCELLENT! Sandwich..I'd pass on the future....stick with bagel or beef pastry nice place to grab a late breakfast or lunch. Thank you for the great service. In appreciation, Sharine

Yelp
Delicious Brazilian chicken pie and hot almond latte, what a wonderful way to start the day! Definitely recommend Pebbles Cafe!

Yelp
I adore this place. Authentic, delicious Brazilian breakfast. Try their Neymar Bowl and sub strawberries for bananas. YUM! Always friendly and often include a cute note on the outside of the bag. Great biz doing it right!
google avatar

Leo B.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and get one of the authentic açaí bowls here. Marcelo and Claudio run this warm, inviting Brazilian cafe and offer great conversation and delicious treats (açaí is a must-have, try a coxinha for something savory). Glen Park is lucky to have them.
google avatar

Linda G.

Yelp
Super delicious Brazilian savory pastries, and very good, strong coffee. A real gem in Glen Park.
google avatar

Spencer A.

Yelp
Can't say it enough, I love Pebbles. Their empadas are probably my favorite savory pastry, specifically the chicken empada. The accompanying hot sauce is excellent and I say that as someone who couldn't initially take the heat (it is quite up there), but I committed and now I can't go without it. Also, their sweet breads are fantastic and they make a mean bacon egg and cheese.
google avatar

Ryan B.

Yelp
The team is very friendly, and the açaí bowls and Pao de Queijo are delicious. That's all we have ever had there. But it is a wonderful Saturday morning routine for us. Thanks for everything Marcello and team!
google avatar

Alex S.

Yelp
Really cozy vibe here and yummy açaí bowls with gluten free granola option! Nice people too. I will be coming back.

Leonard S.

Yelp
Congeniality is outstanding and genuine, this Brazilian Cafe makes you feel like you are at any cafe across the street from Copacabana Beach in Rio...the food is authentic, the coffee is strong, the bowls are delicious... it's a hidden jewel in plain view.

Yelp
Quick take: Beeakfast sandwiches are good. Lunch sandwich was disappointing. Cute little cafe on Diamond. Brazilian breakfast and lunch. Service is friendly. A few tables inside for those who would like to dine in. Brazilian cheese bread was yummy. I saw people buying the bread raw and taking them home. The breakfast sandwiches and coffee were good. Roast beef sandwich was disappointing. Barely any meat inside the sandwich. This had the potential to be a very good sandwich but it fell short. Everything else inside the sandwich was good. Will not be ordering any of the lunch sandwiches. For $8.50 I should be full after eating the entire sandwich. It's a cute spot though.
google avatar

Yelp
Such a cute, friendly place! We ordered one of everything from their "not a the menu but here are some homemade Brazil treats." They were all delightful! A middle eastern influenced ground beef, mint with a seeming falafel outer coating. Num! A little pot pie thing. A cheese ball with a delicious outside. A chicken one with a creamy filling. Hard to describe, but delicious! I also had a salad which was perfect with avocado, turkey, bacon, greens, balsamic dressing, and tomatoes. My boyfriend had a croissant sandwich with turkey, avocado and tomato. Stop in!

Yelp
I love Pebbles cafe. Since moving to Glen Park, it has become my goto. Marcelo and Claudio always greet with a smile. The coffee and Brazilian pastries hit the spot and those Açaí bowls! Service is always excellent.
google avatar

Michelle P.

Yelp
The yummiest authentic Brazilian food I've had to date! This small family owned cafe is adorable.

Jenny B.

Yelp
Delicious Brazilian chicken pie and hot almond latte. What a wonderful way to start the day! Definitely recommend Pebbles Cafe!

Glen P.

Yelp
Pebbles Cafe pronounced "Pee-bulls" is my go to spot in Glen Park. Their Cheese bread is baked fresh and is very addictive. I always buy it frozen so I can have some at home. I also buy my whole beans that the Peebles family roasts themselves. 5 star plus recommend!!!
google avatar

Becca S.

Yelp
This is a cute little buisness nestled in Glen park with incredible coffee, sandwiches, acai bowls, kibe, empanadas etc! Everything is fresh. They are friendl and helpful and clean! If you get the chance ask for a side of hot sauce!
google avatar

Tania G.

Yelp
I like to try different cafes to taste different coffee flavors but by this cafe has been the best soy latte that I've tried. Very smooth, omg!! So good I added cinnamon and sugar, delicious!
google avatar

Dee F.

Yelp
We ordered via Door Dash. We ordered the empadas, bagel with cream cheese, tomato, and cucumber, bagel with turkey, avocado, and cheese, avocado smoothie, and strawberry açaí smoothie. Empadas were on point! So good. Between the two bagel sandwiches, I liked the one with cream cheese, tomato, and cucumber better. The everything bagel was so yummy and toasty. The turkey on the other sandwich didn't taste very good, like it was old. The avocado smoothie was ok; it tasted like it needed more sugar. Overall, it tasted like they used fresh avocado, which I liked. The strawberry açaí tasted a little thin or watered down. But flavor was good. I'd definitely order empadas again!
google avatar

Bhaskar P.

Yelp
I went in thirty minutes before closing, they were considerate. Recommended what would be good for my sandwich and smoothie! I tried the humus and cucumber sandwich, came with red onions, tomatoes and lettuce! Yummy!! And I liked the avocado smoothie! Give this place a try!
google avatar

Muhammad K.

Yelp
I love it here. Great staff and really good coffee. I usually get a medium americano at $3.50+tax. There are 3 charger ports for electronics so if you need one be sure to look.
google avatar

Pris G.

Yelp
It's my favorite breakfast spot in SF! The owners are adorable, friendly and if you are looking for some delicious fresh and high quality food for breakfast or brunch this is the place! PS: The best "pão de queijo" :)
google avatar

Mark C.

Yelp
This place keeps a low profile about their Brazilian goodies. You wouldn't know they had these delicious snacks until you reached the counter. The empanadas and coxinhas are really good though. About $4 a pop.
google avatar

Sue L.

Yelp
This is a quiet little coffee and sandwich shop. You can sit in either bay window and watch the traffic and Braille parkers or just use their free wifi. As I didn't see the coffee machine in use I chickened out on a cappuccino and went for an Italian soda (crushed ice and cordial) I also had a pastrami sandwich and she didn't miss with the pastrami It is a nice spot and maybe I will brave a coffee next time

Lassaad C.

Yelp
This coffee is not good, especially the workers who are in it ... the services are not excellent and everything is late when you order an order you keep waiting a lot ... knowing that my friends went to it and they did not like it ... it is a very bad restaurant .. the owner of the restaurant manipulates a lot when he tells you 10 minutes, so I know that you will wait 50 minutes. They do not have many workers. I think he alone works!!!! something disgusting

Liyi D.

Yelp
Once I have discovered the coffee at Pebbles Cafe, it has became my coffee spot in Glen Park. If you enjoy a cup of coffee with a smooth taste with no bitterness nor sourness, this is the place to go. I appreciate that they always have the bagels that I want for the day. I have never been told that they were out of anything. Please do try their home made pastries in the hot box. This is one of the businesses which contribute to maintain the characteristics of Glen Park. I strongly recommend Pebbles Cafe to everyone. Please show your support to local businesses when you can.

Ethan H.

Yelp
If I could give this place 20 stars I would. Hella pebbles fr. The smoothie goes crazy!
google avatar

Marissa M.

Yelp
The sandwiches were great! I got the turkey and avocado with cheddar on French bread. Don't sleep on the cheddar. Staff was so kind. The owner engaged with my son, telling him that his little boy likes the same book he had. After some struggle with my kiddo deciding on the menu options, he finally agreed to a bagel with butter. But the owner gave it to me with cream cheese on the side because my son "didn't seem sure." Spoken like a parent who has seen a meltdown or two. That is above and beyond!
google avatar

Nima N.

Yelp
A great location to chill and have a lovely cup of coffee 2 steps away from Glen Park. Awesome all natural Brazilian bowls for your day. Make you feel healthy and ready to take on anything. Also good portions on lunch Sandwiches. FAMILY owned and operated! With awesome service and just plain great people. Thank you
google avatar

Yelp
Thirs place is a gem of the Nieghborhopd. The people who work here are very kind and helpful and the food is delicious. I definitely recommend trying the saugajinio (Brazilian meat pastries)
google avatar

Angelo F.

Yelp
Okay I've never had coxinha before and I just have to say WOW. Absolutely delicious, please do yourself a favor and order one if you visit this gem. The chicken was tender and packed with flavor inside a gently fried outer crust. You will not be disappointed. Looking forward to trying out the rest of the menu!
google avatar

Katherine C.

Yelp
Very nice and quick service. Sandwiches served on hot and delicious bread. No vegan options as of 1 month open, but the owner was very interested in customer's opinions of what vegan and gluten free options to start providing. Staff is kind, and the crowd is largely local regulars. Don't be surprised if you get chatted up in line or someone asks about your week!
google avatar

Cindy Z.

Yelp
Before heading out the trails at Glen Hill Park, we stopped by this little café for some breakfast. We each got a breakfast sandwich and I chose the Bacon, Egg, and Pepperjack Cheese on an Asiago Bagel ($5.50). First of all, this breakfast bagel was so goddamn delicious! The bagel was soft, yet toasty --almost like bread rather than a bagel. The ingredients were done just right and was perfectly proportioned. To add, the customer service was amazing and the server was chatting it up with everyone that came in and out of the café.
google avatar

Crystal C.

Yelp
I started walking the SF Crosstown trail, so I was really happy that this Brazilian gem in Glen Park was my first stop. I ordered a Marta acai bowl, coxhina, and coffee. The family that runs the shop is very friendly, and they so nice in humoring me with my love for everything Brazilian. Their acai was just what I needed to give me a boost but not weigh my down stomach. Other places in SF tend to overload their bowl with condensed milk or other sweeteners, but they add just the perfect drizzle of honey. The strawberries, bananas, and blueberries in my bowl were super fresh and perfectly ripe. I wolfed down the coxinha, and the coffee was the perfect way to finish my breakfast. Next time you're outside the Glen Park BART, pop in to Pebbles!
google avatar

Miross M.

Yelp
From the San Jose area, never been to this cafe before but oh my god their food is the best I've ever tasted! I would recommend this over Starbucks and Noah's bagels any day of the week! For amazing prices, their bagels are bomb and make sure to go easy on the cream cheese, it can get addictive haha. The staff is so friendly and nice it creates such a warm environment! Overall this is the one of, if not the best, cafe I've been too in a while. The owner deserves all the credit given. I'll be coming back here every time I make a trip up to San Francisco!
google avatar

Rebekah T.

Yelp
Although it's cute and all, I really don't need something drawn on the top of my foam lattemochachino to know it's good. I also rarely order those, so I like Pebbles Cafe for the breakfast slash get your coffee and run. I mostly go for the coffee, they carry Coffee Triste and have several types that are brewed fresh. I might even go for a water, juice and coffee beverage-heavy brekky. I also like the bagels, which I refer to Hangover Bagels - since it's when I let myself indulge. I like fresh onion bagels, toasted with cream cheese, tomato and red onion. Perfect for starting off my morning, either on the way to or from Glen Park Bart. I got places to go!
google avatar

Rhaiany S.

Yelp
My favorite little café. Every time I'm in the neighborhood I make it a point to visit. Cozy atmosphere, great costumer service and AMAZING food. There's not a single thing that I've gotten that I didn't like. Their coxinhas and empadas are to die for! My favorite item on the menu are the açaí bowls. If you have a sweet tooth then the Ronaldinho bowl is for you. It includes chocolate sprinkles, Nutella, sweetened condensed milk, fruits and granola. Hands down the best açaí I've ever had!

Yelp
Great service! Great Brazilian and Breakfast food! I visit every time i am in the Glen Park area! :)

Yelp
Amazing service and food - sweet Brazilian buns and tea. Management was also very welcoming and accommodating for large group sizes
