Some of the best wings in Boulder! I love this place so much. It is a kind of hidden gem and more people should know about it! The establishment is cozy and the staff is awesome. Their sauces are top-notch. Expect me to be here soon.

First off the service is amazing. I've been meaning to try this place out for quite some time but was never able to get in there and now I regret my decision. How about that pricing? Lunch specials 5 days a week? I challenge you to find another place in town that gives you the same quality and quantity of food for under $15 I ordered the hot honey garlic wings with fries and a side of ranch. The wings were very crispy and flavorful the sauce was the perfect blend of sweet, spice, and savory (I will admit that I personally would have liked a little bit more heat). Now let's talk about the ranch! I almost feel like this needs a separate review. I literally have never had a ranch dressing that has tasted like this. It's almost its own sauce that needs to be its own entity. Very herby but not overpowering perfect consistency. Don't take my word for it, you just need to get in here and try it.

The wings are good! They have a variety of flavors too. I recommend the wings combo meal. I also loveee people watching on the second floor when I dine in. Almost impossible to dine in after 7 PM though, they have limited seating. I would say for the price, they could be a little better, but if you’re ever craving wings at night on the hill, def a good place to check out, but it’s not the main wing place I’ll go to if I want wings just because the quantity and quality for the price isn’t worth it for me.

Peckish is a great restaurant if you love wings. There are lots of flavors to choose from, my favorite being spicy BBQ. I am going to continue coming to this fine establishment, especially on game days.

The waitress was not very professional. Took a long time to ask what we needed. Another waiter had to fill our water. Forgot to give us our ranch and we almost finished our meals by the time she brought it to the table. She was too busy kissing her boyfriend and standing by the bar. Food was okay. A little dry.

This is a new fried chicken wing shop on the hill. They have a great student special for 8.99 and a wide variety of sauces including one where you have to sign a waiver to eat. With dill infused ranch and a sauce of the month, it’s a great place to hang out and catch views of the hill and eat.

First time here. Got the four tenders, two sauces, curly fries. The tenders were smaller then I expected. The sauces I picked (honey garlic and spicy sweet chili) were good. They have a large menu of sauces. The fries were a nice sized portion. Ordered online and pick up was quick thanks to a space to park opening up as I got there. Will try again with wings next time.

Fun college bar on the hill. No frills but drinks you can count on. Cassidy and Kay are cool and helpful. Open late and location is great. Thanks guys!

I asked if I should have the Carolina Reaper wings or the Broken Trust Wings... a.k.a. 'which ones were hotter'? I was told that the Broken Trust wings are uncomfortable to eat because they are so hot, so I tried the Carolina Reaper wings, and the Carolina Barbecue wings for a hot, then moderating, complementary sauce. Unfortunately the Carolina reaper wings just tasted like Dave's hot sauce to me. The Carolina Barbecue was nothing special. We ordered our wings extra crispy. They were not extra crispy... moderately crispy best. My wife thought two of hers were cold. Save your $$ for wing shack.

Mark and Tae make it a GREAT EXPERIENCE. Walk in and order your food as you do. Then go upstairs to a table that has a great view of the CU Campus. This is my second time here and it was better than my first, although my first time was a 4 Star Experience. Tae took our order and handed us a buzzer but then said he'd bring us our food when it was ready, talk about GREAT SERVICE!!! The hamburger was out of this world. As big as you could possibly want with each bite delivering a great taste sensation. We also choose the waffle fries which were so delicious as well. When you add the Service, Ambiance and Food you get the awesome time at PECKISH!

The food is 10/10, one of my favorite places to go. however, it is managed so poorly, you will have to wait 10+ minutes to order because the employees are upstairs talking and blasting music. The employees dont have a care in the world for customers.

Great atmosphere and staff. They were always welcoming and provided a great experience. Love their sandwiches, especially with voodoo sauce. Dylan made the ordering process really simple and helped answer questions about the menu. Bit of a wait to receive food but still a great overall experience.

Auntie had a good time here! When $Sheduer Sander$ had his pop up it was a vibe! I ordered the Parmesan Wings & Fries with the house ranch! Great place to have CU players pop up! Do it again! Support our Nephews!

The menu that was posted on here was wrong, so the prices were higher and the items weren't correct. Ordered a combo meal to split with someone but the cashier rung it up as a non-combo. Cashier was obviously not interested in being helpful... there was a lunch special that would have gotten us 5 extra wings, 2 side of fries, and 2 drinks and we would've only paid another $5. Cashier definitely was not enjoying their job and not friendly. The wings were good, we were expecting more so that was a bummer. Overpriced overall.

Went inside no one at the front desk waited for five minutes. Went upstairs waited for five minutes. Finally, the bartender asked me for help and sent one of the employees down who was at the bar talking. lol

Izzy is a fantastic employee in all roles at Peckish, always available to yep in and help or provide great service for everyone. She's always doing the extra mile for her team, customers, and regulars. Thank youuuuu

Wings were above average. I ordered hot buffalo wings but they were mild. Also they were out of celery. The service however was terrible. We sat at our table and the waitress was too busy doing shots and drinking beers with her friend to even acknowledge our presence. I wonder if the owner knows that their staff is drinking their alcohol for free!

Loved the upstairs bar it was a really nice cozy spot with a great view, I highly recommend to anyone in boulder

I've been coming here for the past four years, and it is the best chicken wings in the Denver-Boulder area. The place is a bit small, but the wings are phenomenal. It occasionally takes a while for them to make a meal, and over time things have gradually become more expensive, but that's the same anywhere. Overall, Peckish is a well-rounded restaurant that I am proud to have lived by for several years.

Wings are ok. I got the hottest (Lava) but they aren't real hot. This place is designed for students.

Food is ok. Wings are cooked nicely, the sauces aren't too bad. I ordered the liquid lava thinking it was gonna burn my mouth... no heat at all. Spicy garlic had cheese on top and waaay too garlicky nothing spicy and the parm cheese just ruined it. Half of our fries were still not fully cooked and ranch tasted like butter. The ambiance was ok, super lame when we came. Place was empty which is nice but good still took 40 minutes to come out.

What a great college hang out! On the Hill - Urban and chic. Delicious wings! I got my plain with a lot of dipping sauces - fry dip, ranch, Blue Cheese. They have a sauce so HOT you have to sign a waiver. Fast and friendly - inside and patio seating A+ Love the adorable name too!!

Grateful and thankful for such a delicious place on the hill. My fiancé and I love it here and had to go back as soon as possible. We tried some new flavors which included the HOT! The hot is a great buffalo taste BUT definitely not the spice I was thinking. If you actually want hot maybe try the XXtra! or the one step above it. This one still had great flavor. Another reason I believe this place is amazing is the sauces come abundant. In reality most wing places toss the wings and its covering the wings. At this place, the wings are covered and there is a POOL of sauce! The sauce is a great dipper for the yummy fries. Due to COVID-19 this place is only doing take out or delivery. I was worried that by the time we got home our fries would be soggy...as most are. As I was about to place them in the air-fryer I took a bite and OMG it felt like it was fresh and still perfectly crunchy, no soggy-ness at all. I get waffle fries every time. No joke the best fries. I appreciate this place so I wanted to give them a shout out. The three male employees were awesome and definitely brightened my day after a long day from working from home! THANK YOU PECKISH! Hope to come back as soon as possible.

Best wings ever, I won't get them anywhere else now. Only downside is sometimes no one is at the service counter so you kinda have to wait forever or shout for someone

Very good spot for buffalo chicken. I like their boneless breaded chicken as much as the wings. The sauce is real - Frank's mixed with butter and oil. Mild tastes great, the increase of heat comes with amplifications in vinegar flavor, but I like the spicy option too. The blue cheese could be a little bit more blue, but tastes house made. The ranch sauce is a highlight. Fresh dill with a light cream. It's great. Fries are ok but a little overpriced. Onion rings are a big bland expensive pass. Don't eat the carrots or celery, not so good. It's not like you ever ate those in the first place when you ordered wings except out of obligation. Full of college kids. Everyone is polite but know that this is less a family wing restaurant than a pick-up joint, in both senses of the term. But the food's good.

The woman bartender has absolutely no respect for any client who chooses to eat at Peckish. She is absolutely disgusting and completely rude. No one should ever work in customer service who acts like this. Peckish is a great place to spend our evenings but this woman is completely destroying the core of the restaurant. -Unfortunately the event you responded about, I was not in attendance with and had separate issues on my own with the bartender.

I've been here every Sunday for the past 4 weeks and I can easily say it's the best wing place I've ever had! The mixture of great customer Service, great food, and great prices really Persuaded me to drive here from Denver every Sunday! I would recommend checking out their flavor of the month! It really adds a certain kick to the menu. All in all, if you're in the mood for some wings, this is the place you want to be! Also, I would have posted the food, however I can't stop once I start!

Killer wings! Recently remodeled with a great CU vibe. Taps have improved much too under new management. Definitely worth the visit if you want some wings which are much better than any chain.

This place man this place! Every time I go or order from them I am pleasantly surprised. Things other restaurants won't do they will do for you. Super nice people there and super good food! The wings, pretzel bites, and Mac and cheese bites are awesome. Honestly I haven't ever gotten something there I didn't enjoy. If you want a challenge try the liquid lava sauce!!! Prices, well let's just say it won't hurt your wallet! Speed: Ordered from grub hub tonight and got my food so fast I thought it was a mistake. Delicious and exactly as ordered. Thanks guys!

I finally had the chance to come here on my birthday, to celebrate with some friends, and eat some food! After wanting to go here for so long I'm glad we finally did. The food was AMAZING! The truffle fries were everyone's favorite. I got the cheese steak and my boyfriend got the wings. He said your wings are the best wings he's had in a longgg time. We are definitely coming back!! It had a nice bar atmosphere upstairs and everyone was doing their own thing. I cant wait to come back and try something else!

This place has gone so downhill with the new owners. I understand the price of wings going up given our current economy... but when I ask for blue cheese instead of ranch 3 times... and still get ranched but get an extra charge for blue cheese I get upset. These new owners just do not carry the same passion/ understanding for college students as the old ones did. They want to make a profit and that is made completely clear from the second you walk into their establishment. I miss the old peckish

Lemon pepper and hot honey garlic .... And "fresh cut" french fries . 10 piece and a fry was 18$ RIDICULOUS .fries were hard and def not fresh. Wings were fairly good. Price leaves bad taste though.

Don't order the chicken tenders - they were like bricks. You could get better quality at apple bees. Really disappointing coming from a chicken place. Only redeeming thing was the waffle fries. Was expecting much better.

Denied my real ID and ruined my St. Patrick's day... This is actually ridiculous and so rude

This is my first review. I created this account to make this one review. I waited almost an hour for cold wings. Also instead of just the normal fries I ordered, I was given sweet potato fries then never had my order fixed(so I literally just lost money eating at this place). I am pretty sure the dude at the register was micro dosing in the middle of the day because he couldn't understand a word I was saying. He seemed plenty nice just not very cool I was starving. Just a 0/10 experience if you value customer service this place stinks.

Good typical wings on College Ave. Wings were crispy and cooked well. Sauce was flavorful.

I wanted to update my past review. I previously said it was getting continually spicier each time I went. Now, I don't find this is the case! I still stand by my original statement of being the best wings in Boulder. Atmosphere is great too!

I used to like Peckish, but after my last experience my whole opinion has changed. One of the women behind the bar was very rude to my friend. Not only did she deny her REAL ID, she was very disrespectful and hostile towards her. For some context, my friend was not drinking yet so was sober for this entire situation. My friend called the cops in order to verify her ID as the cops verified it and told the bartenders she was of age. The woman still would not serve my friend and was consistently rude to her even after being told her ID was in fact real by the cop. Additionally, as my friend was speaking to the cops every bartender behind the bar was talking about her in a negative way. They were also getting other customers involved and calling my friend a "b*tch" behind her back which I find very unprofessional. Overall, our experience here was very hostile and rude and would not recommend this establishment to a friend.

Best wings in boulder. This place is a staple, I go at least once a week. If you go you have to try the hot honey garlic! My only request is to bring back the corn nuggets, they were my favorite!!

Great wings! Great cauliflower (wings)! Great staff! They have actually crunchy (not soggy) gluten free menu items for my family. Glad the hill has another good restaurant to offer!

I ordered the hot honey garlic wings with waffle fries. Both were exactly what I needed on a Sunday afternoon. The wings were the perfect level of spice and the waffle fries were so crispy and tasty. The only really thing to consider is the price. The food can be considered quite expensive for what it is but I suppose part of that has to do with its amazing location. I have been looking for a good place for wings in Boulder and I think this will be my new go-to!

Good wings, would be 5 if it wasn't so expensive :(. I don't know when chicken wings became so pricey

Wildly overpriced and underwhelming. We ordered 10 boneless wings and 5 regular, with a side of "fresh cut" fries. Most of the boneless wings were smaller than a walnut. I saw one of the cooks walk by with a bag of frozen french fries and sure enough, our fries were anything but fresh cut. The sauces were fine but nothing to call home about. $25 later, we would've been better off going down the street for some fast food. ‍

Peckish is by far the best wings in boulder. Their sauces are amazing, the service is great and the wings are perfectly cooked. They also have a lunch deal that is a lot of food for the price. I could see this place becoming a game day spot for boulder. UPDATE: I ordered Peckish on uber eats and the staff fulfilled my somewhat difficult order perfectly as well as through in the extra fries :)

Phones are the issue. No problem with the food. But I called and some dude answers and says he's putting me on hold. 15 minutes later I hang up to call back and their line isn't working. I figure they're busy or the line is full so I wait... every time I call it doesn't go through and I just get a message from Verizon saying their phone is busy. Can't be running a business like that man.

Everyone kept telling me to try this place so I did. The food was ok, but I waited almost an hour for my order and my friends never received their fries until much much later when they had finished their wings. On top of that, my wings were cold. Not sure if I would come back. It would be understandable if it were a busy night, but it wasn't.

Probably the best chicken wings I have ever had in Colorado. Stopped by after walking around campus for a bit and got some amazing chicken wings. Loved the vibe of the place and being able to people watch from the second floor of the building. They have a variety of unique sauces and rubs for your wings that taste amazing. I ordered the Thai Basil and Thai peanut sauces and they were very great. Had the presentation of the settings been better, and the chicken a little thicker (they're kind of on the smaller side) this place would have definitely gotten 5 stars!

I'm giving Peckish 3 stars because although it wasn't super impressive, the food was decent, and I work in Boulder so it's an easy lunch. I ordered boneless wings and got lemon pepper dry rub and regular BBQ. They were just OK, hence the star rating. I ordered for delivery, and the third-party delivery service they use estimated my food delivery ETA, however, my food showed up an hour after that estimated time, and after sending me a notification that it had gotten delivered when it hadn't yet. All of this being said, I know that when ordering food for delivery, it diminishes the quality a bit of not having it fresh out of the kitchen, so I want to give this place another chance to get the other two stars. They have such a tasty looking menu, so I'll likely try a few more times. I recommend trying it, but there's also MANY other better wing places, maybe not in Boulder but in the surrounding communities.

Good wing joint. I liked that the wings were cooked nice and crisp. I had the flavor of the month, peach chipotle and spicy BBQ, both were really good. I upgraded to the truffle fries, which were good for the first few bites, but after that I was a little overpowered and didn't finish them. They have some very reasonable combo deals. Definitely worth going here if you like wings.

Took them an hour to make my food when I was the only one in the store when I ordered. When I complained about this to the owner she yelled at me. The food was also cold when I got it. 0/10 don't eat there.

Awesome wings and atmosphere. Immaculate vibes. Spicy garlic wings are 11/10, drinks are reasonably priced. Always a fun place to go get food and drinks from.

late night food. Pretty dank. I got truffle fries but it didn't taste like truffle and I'm pretty sure there wasn't any on it lol but it's fine they were still good and I got mozerella sticks but didn't finish them and threw away most of the fries so I highly recommend only getting 1 thing no matter how hungry you are late night lol. The blue Powerade was DANKKk 5 stars for that Powerade honestly. AND they have the good ice like chik fil a has if ur hip to that. The guys working were funny and good company. Overall, the atmosphere was an awesome late night place and seemed popular in the area. It was maybe a 60 second walk from my friend's apartment where we stayed which was awesome.
