We went to Pedal and Pour because I wanted to check out some bikes. The location is a little inconspicuous -- it's on a street that leads up toward a hill -- but once you're there, it makes sense why you see so many bikers hanging out. You can get your bike tuned, grab a coffee, and then bike right up the hill.
It's a coffee shop slash bike shop, but just know it's very small. They don't have a big bike selection at all. This isn't really a place you'd go to buy a regular bike like a street bike, hybrid, or even a typical 10-speed. It feels more like a spot to rent a bike or possibly buy a higher-end, more serious bike meant for riding up hills.
The people working there were nice and attentive. They asked us a few times if we needed help, and I appreciated that they were willing and available without being pushy.
I didn't try the coffee, but they do have a bike supplies and small food items -- like a muffin or something light. It really feels like a place where you stop if you're already planning to bike in that area, grab a coffee, rest for a bit, and then keep going.
Overall, it's a cool concept and makes sense for the location. Just be aware that this is not a full-blown bike store. It's more of a niche spot for bikers in that area.
