My first time visiting this corner of town, and from the step in you feel like you're being welcomed to cozy feeling breakfast spot! It was a small breakfast but the matcha latte was just the right amount of sweet, vibrant and refreshing. Definitely on my list for when I come back to get the day going. I was taken by surprise with the Nutella croissant, I didn't realize that it came salted on top and I just wasn't expecting that. If you don't like salty l'd say you're better off with the butter croissant. The baristas were friendly, and helped wake me up early in the morning. There can be lines sometimes to order coffee at the bar so if you're not in a rush, it might be best to just talk to the host and grab a table and enjoy your meal. Really cool place for my first time and it's well recommended!

You basically serve yourself using the QR code and phone. If you don't have a phone you can order at the bar although there are no menus to look at. You pay for your order before you get it, so you'd better hope it's actually good. They even expect a tip up front before you know if service is good. You can tip nothing I guess, then leave cash (although they don't accept cash payments so...?) Valet parking only but that's discretionary $ before 5pm Food was ok. Nothing special. I had the small cobb salad which was plenty big enough and only $12. Hubby had the burger. He said it was OK. Nice fries. The location is pleasant but it was quite busy and we got the last table at 1230. Not sure if we'll return.

UPDATE: 10/12/24 - Ella, and John were incredibly attentive. And just to add another level of service: Chris (another server) remembered my exact order from weeks ago and checked in, not only to say hello and make sure my dog had a bowl of water, but also to ensure the server had my order down perfectly. This place is superlative and an excellent reflection of its management, location, and delicious menu. My favourite spot in LA. Sam is one of the friendliest hosts I’ve had the privilege of meeting. Our server Tori knocked it out of the park today — super attentive and helpful! Great energy atmosphere and vibe. And Chris (even though we weren’t his table per se) kept checking in to ensure we had an excellent breakfast. And I haven’t even started on the food … not being hyperbolic: the hot chicken and waffles is the actual best breakfast I’ve had in LA. It’s insane. That and the chagaccino with almond milk. Insane! Love this place. It’s tucked beautifully beneath the forest umbrage, with the gentle scent of bay leaves next to a running stream, adjacent to the Calabasas Farmers Market — the vibe here is just excellent. Highly recommend!

My first time eating at this restaurant... so I ate a turkey burger sandwich truffle fries were amazing, but the turkey burger was not the best. I did not have seasoning. It was super dry. I don’t like doing bad reviews, but you guys need to work on that turkey burger. … but everything else was really good. The waiters did a good job. The place is super clean. I will go back, but try something different. Thank you guys. Keep up the good work.

Amazing place to work and enjoy your drinks! I arrived 12.20 pm and almost all pastry was gone, that’s the only reason for 4 stars for the food , all the rest is 5!

Google
We’ve enjoyed having coffee & pastries @10speedcoffee with our dog in the past 5 years. This morning we felt UNWELCOME as a new hostess came running to let us know that we might need to leave to accommodate their brunch crowd! While there, no one but us in their patio space. Very disappointed!

My recent visit to Pedalers Fork in Calabasas was a mixed bag, and it pains me to say it. The charming rustic ambiance, tailored for cyclists, remains a highlight, complete with an on-site shop, tune-up bar, and both indoor and outdoor dining options. The menu still boasts a delightful array of options, including vegetarian and gluten-free choices. Opting for the mushroom pizza, I savored its decadent, savory goodness, while my friend relished the brisket. Now, here's where the disappointment sets in. Pedalers Fork seems to have shifted from a full-service restaurant to a more casual affair. No host greeted us, and the initial interaction with a bartender lacked the usual warmth. We had to figure out the new system – ordering online with upfront payment, including the tip. The service hiccups continued – no utensils or napkins upon food arrival, and our requests for water were initially forgotten. When we finally got water, it was poured into an iced tea glass, diluting the remaining tea flavor. The absence of check-ins during our meal left us longing for the attentive service Pedalers Fork was once known for. It's disheartening to witness a decline in what was once a gem in Calabasas. Here's hoping they rediscover the balance that made them shine before.

Yelp
What a cool spot! The ambiance is inviting, hip, and eclectic. I stopped in for Happy Hour (daily from 3-6 PM) - live that they offer happy hour 7 days a week! The Ceviche Tostadas were clean and fresh, a bright start.. The Salmon on Crispy Rice was packed with flavor and the Brisket Nachos were a favorite. If you're looking for a unique place with great vibes and food, this restaurant/bike shop combo is a must-visit.

Yelp
The food was delicious we sat at the bar, however as first timers, I felt the host was very rude repeatedly saying to people coming in, "Yes, you made a reservation, that's what we love to hear." It was in a very condescending manner to the guests who didn't make a reservation. After the third time of " Oh yes. You did the right thing making a reservation. It makes things so much easier. " To us (part of the reservationless group) he walked away and said just use the QR code for those without a reservation." Then with no help or even just a quote of the wait time, he said, "I'll just have to seat all the customers who have a reservation first." We ended up sitting at the bar. Offsetting this, the bar staff was amazing and the food delicious.

Yelp
Really confusing layout and service experience. You have to order your coffee from the counter but then they told us to order food there as well. We ordered food and sat down, the food came but we didn't know where we were to get utensils from. Once I walked inside to ask for some, I was still confused as the table next to us had a full server attending to them. Other than that my food was ok, I got a tri tip sandwich I believe and my friend got the onion soup. We stopped by post work meeting but idk if I'd come out of my way to eat here.

Yelp
My favorite place in Calabasas! The staff is so personable and nice. The food is consistently delicious, plus you feel like you're home. It's a gem.

Yelp
We always love coming here! Each time it is an elevated experience. The beautiful high ceilings filled with light, and the outdoor patio by the creek with squirrels and ducks and frogs, is charming and relaxing, and the food is always delicious - fantastic omelets and buttermilk fried chicken and waffles are very tasty, but it is the cocktails that knocked us off our feet (almost literally). This barman is not shy! The Calibastard with elderflower was vavavoom! and the ch-ch-cherry bomb sensual and delicious. The servers were so kind and helpful, too. Mother's Day was a swinging delight here, yesterday!

Ethan A.

Yelp
One of the best places in LA. The service here is next level; you're greeted by Sam, one of the friendliest hosts you will meet, and taken out to a beautiful patio beneath the umbrage of bay trees and eucalyptus, which fills the air with the most incredible, relaxing scent. The single greatest breakfast you can order here is the hot chicken and waffles, and a chagaccino (sugar free, guiltless coffee that is naturally sweetened with monkfruit to perfection). My server, Ella, and John were incredibly attentive. And just to add another level of service: Chris ... another server, remembered my exact order from weeks ago and checked in, not only to say hello and make sure my dog had a bowl of water, but also to ensure the server had my order down perfectly. Yelp
I admit I used to come here a lot and then Covid happened. I share that to say -- it's here and better than ever! First of all, the space is gorgeous whether you're inside or outside. The staff here are probably some of the best professionals and nicest in the area. It feels like I am seeing family when I'm here. But it's the happy hour that includes Pliny and the delicious club sandwich and salad that has me coming back. There is not a bad option on the menu. I mean, brisket nachos? Helllo. I love the interior design and the concept. A coffee shop, a bike shop, an eatery in Calabasas right on the bike path. This is the opposite of a kitchen nightmare! So come on pretty people of LA, what are you waiting for? Menu and details on website. Open daily.

B M.

Yelp
I like the food but think it is too overpriced at lunch considering they don't have wait staff and you have to order by phone or counter at the bar - which is confusing and a pain. You also have to walk inside to refill your own water. All of this would be fine if the prices reflected a casual counter ordering situation but my salad was $28 and then once you add on a drink and a tip it seems pretty ridiculous.

Jacki F.

Yelp
Strange experience today. Met friends at Peddlers Fork in calabassas for lunch today. I ordered a decaf with lunch. The others didn't . It tasted pretty bad - even with cream and sugar. I asked for another one since it wasn't very hot by the time cream came. This was just as bad. I made my friends taste it. All agreed !! When he came with the bill I told him how bad it was and said " yes I know! A lot of people tell us that ! Most people get cappuccino ". No offer of apology or to take it off the bill ! Wow! Buyer beware!!

Trina M.

Yelp
Food was great, it is Calabasas but because of the "Biking" gimmick I was suspect. "Suspect" no more, everything was delicious! Let's start with the Hidden Hills Zombie. Now while I understand niche let's just say ima big FAN of the Santa Clarita Diet (if you know, you know) and this cocktail was soooo delicious! Then we ordered a Brisket sammie, Quinoa cakes, Chicken piccata, and Fish and Chips. Everyone was very happy and when we were finished we had desserts! A delicious Tiramisu, very good truly, and a rich, "oishi", Butterscotch puddin'. And, there you have it! Finished with a great server, John! Really fun vibe, too. Go and enjoy!

Amanda D.

Yelp
I love coming here! My friend lives in Camarillo and we meet halfway. The coffee is so good and they're happy hour is awesome. The service is a little hit or miss when you're out on the patio but overall I keep coming back.

Rose B.

Yelp
I've had coffee at the attached coffee shop Ten Speed many times and always enjoy their coffee but this past Sunday was my first time eating at Pedalers Fork. My friend and I stopped by and while it was very busy we were able to be seated within ten minutes. My friend brought her puppy and we were able to sit outside with the dog. The service was great! I got an omelette with potatoes and my friend got a breakfast burrito. Both were really good. The ambiance here is casual but it's a nice spot to meet friends or bring family to.

Elisa H.

Yelp
Friends were visiting from out of the country so a party of 6 of us came to lunch/brunch this afternoon. Sitting outside was very comfortable, although I can't help but wonder if we would have had better table service if we had chosen to eat inside. Two people at the table ordered coffee shortly after we were seated. One coffee arrived right away while the other took till after our food was served to arrive and only after we inquired as to the status of the second missing coffee. We were told that the ordered are filled as they arrive which made absolutely no sense. Two of us ordered the ahi burger, one with sweet potato fries and the other with no fries. Both arrived with fries and the server seemed bothered to have to take back the plain fries and in exchange bring coleslaw. He questioned hearing 'no fries', as though it was never said. Well, the ahi burgers were less than desirable. I have to question the amount of ahi in what appeared to be a grilled frozen patty, with seasonings, breadcrumbs and perhaps grated carrots, parsley and who knows what else. There was no visible ahi in the burger whatsoever nor any ahi flavor. A very misleading description on the menu. Our water glasses were empty, a different server came to fill a glass, filled it 1/3 full and realized she was out of water and told us she would be back. We are still waiting. We smelled gas in the area, reported it to which our server said, " yes I know, it was coming from the heat lamp", yet nothing was done to remedy the situation. We paid our bill, to which a tip was added by the restaurant. Bad choice since it did not reflect the service we were given. Not in a rush to return nor recommend. Two stars, one for the outside ambiance and the other for clean restrooms.

Adam H.

Yelp
I had the ribeye steak sandwich and banana split for the second time. This time I went with the sourdough bread on the sandwich and it was absolutely incredible. I was watching Yellowstone while eating it and it was the perfect pairing, it felt like they toasted the bread over a fire with the perfect char on the edges. Im a big horseradish guy and this sandwich just hits the spot. The banana split to end it was amazing, like no other banana split this side of the Mississippi.

Michael L.

Yelp
I came here Friday night for a drink. The bar is beautiful. I especially like the ice counter to keep the drinks chilled. I ordered the apple old fashioned. It was really good. The bar tenders were cool. Nice spot to chill and relax after a work week.

Sasha F.

Yelp
I've been wanting to leave a five-star review for our local restaurant and coffee shop. After all, they do have the best matcha latte in the area and most of their pastries are delicious (check out their pop tarts!) But after we had breakfast here, the five stars went down by two. The Brisket Hash was all fat, barely any meat. Does anyone wants to eat inedible fat? And the scramble had so much cheese. I came very close to bringing the review down to two stars but I can't do that because the staff here is wonderful. Super friendly and helpful. Cut the fat

Mallory B.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place! The concept is so cool. I got the beet salad & the steak frites. Both were absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was so unique. It felt like you were in a jungle, and all of the tables outside had fires so that you can enjoy your meal without getting cold.

Keith V.

Yelp
This was our first time to this restaurant. We felt this place was discriminatory to people with infant children the hostess looked disgusted that we has a stroller to accommodate. The host reception was a short haired woman with pointy glasses and she told us right out if we didn't have a reservation all tables were fully committed. Poor business model to turn away customers. She seated people that did not have a reservation that came in after we did. Instead of taking our name she had us sign in on the kiosk and made us wait until the lobby was empty and my wife had to go and get a to-go coffee from the shop adjacent before she realized we weren't leaving until we were seated. I am a restaurant owner and the people you have run your business are a reflection of your success. We are fully committed to make sure to NOT recommend a place like this. Poor service made decent food taste bad.

Tomster L.

Yelp
All the salads w/"lettuce" are worth 12.00 max, yet they cost 20 and up but you are paying for the overhead of restaurant. The Jonny Cakes are worth !! Nice scenery I only gave it two stars because it doesn't deserve 5 stars for such bad Costco grade salads. Many great qualities about the place and some good food dishes.

Sandy M.

Yelp
The hostess was so incredibly rude and abrupt with us . She kept rolling her eyes and it seemed we were a major inconvenience for her. She made us feel so uncomfortable and ruined the entire dining experience for us. So disappointed .

Beth T.

Yelp
We went there for Sunday brunch, and our server was very lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed my omelette with shiitake mushrooms, caramelized, onions, and tomato with a side salad. It was so fantastic that I took it home and I've been dreaming about it ever since. Nice generous portion and it was so delicious I look forward to having it again!

Maral C.

Yelp
I absolutely adore this place. It doesn't matter what time of day you visit, whether it's for breakfast, lunch, happy hour or dinner - the vibe is always amazing. And let me tell you, this spot has the coolest design and serves up some seriously delicious drinks and food. It's definitely a must-visit! Excellent service always

Jill L.

Yelp
So I see by other posts the owner responds as needed. I'm sorry to say this review will probably see a response from Gideon as well. Today, I was checking happy hour deals on the Pedalers Fork website. The website clearly shows happy hour ends at 7:00 and "all wines by the glass" are $5 (see pic uploaded). Based on this info, off I drove! Alas, at the bar, I was told there was only "1 house red" available for happy hour and it was $7 not $5 and happy hour ended in 4 minutes (it was 5:55) not 7:00. I won't say this is false advertising.... but, I think Gideon needs to get that website updated asap. I did try to contact the restaurant via the website, but as you can see in the uploaded pic, the box where you would write your "message" is missing. Bottom line: call ahead to verify Happy Hour times, prices, and menu items.

Aisha B.

Yelp
Great service. I liked the French onion soup. Cocktails were great and the high ceilings add to vibe.

Sara L.

Yelp
Love this spot and love being a local! I come here mostly for my coffee, at least once or twice a week. Best coffee shop in the back. Occasionally I'll grab a small lunch. I love that the energy here is like a cool cafe. Lots of people sitting and working in their computers, so perfect for a solo lunch date. Weekend brunch with my husband is also something we like here! The farmers market on Saturdays also means I get to have my coffee here! Everything is great and people are super friendly. Check out this turkey club I had last week!

Hannah Y.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere here, very kid friendly. The food for brunch is delicious with lots of great options to choose from. I got the brisket hash which lasted me 3 meals worth. Tender juicy falling apart brisket just the way my mom cooks it. Will be coming back for more!

Anna F.

Yelp
Absolutely loved my dining experience here! Met up with a girlfriend from out of town for dinner and drinks, and this place did not disappoint! The reasons I'm dropping one star from my overall review are because it took awhile to get someone to take our order, and parking was valet only ($7.50) and the parking attendant was a bit rude. He only accepted cash or Venmo. It was a weird interaction. We arrived during happy hour which was perfect. All their drinks were $10. We ordered the desert trails (spicy but yummy) and the peachy drink. We shared the BBQ chicken pizza and the nachos. We wished there was more meat on both dishes. For dessert, we ordered the brownie and it came with a very small scoop of ice cream. I loved the bicycling theme throughout the restaurant as well as the vibe/ambiance. Overall, a great dining experience. I will definitely be back.

Caroline H.

Yelp
We've been to Pedalers Fork a few times now for breakfast/brunch, and it's a cool-looking place with nice enough vibes. The avocado toast is fantastic. The rest of the food has been just ok, and the service has been suuuuuper spotty. The wait staff all seem like lovely people, but not enough attention is ever paid to empty waters, coffees, or other refills. I also had a "cold brew" coffee last time that was so pale that it had very obviously been hot brewed coffee poured over ice just moments before. $6.50 for cold-ish coffee-flavored water? No thanks. All told: too expensive for the quality and lever of service.

Caro F.

Yelp
Manager gave the most unprofessional response to my honest review which was stating objective facts. He decided to dismiss my concerns and insult my intelligence for absolutely no reason. Clearly he did not receive any customer service training and will dig the place into a hole. Good riddance!

J. E.

Yelp
Went for breakfast. Food is decent. $20 for 3 small pieces of French toast. It's good. But it's 3 pieces of bread. Ordering system is ridiculous, you need to use a QR code with your phone, which won't load half the time. There's no actual menu to hold. There's a menu board in a coffee shop that we ended up just taking a picture of to figure out what and how to order. Line for ordering is confusing and overly complicated. The ENTIRE process needs to be streamlined. Breakfast for 3 with nothing more complex than one French toast order, 2 orders of eggs, 1 coffee, and 1 order of bacon came to over $80. Not counting tip.

Chrystine H.

Yelp
First time here to meet a friend . We sat outside on the patio under the heat lamps (that actually do work to keep you warm) on a chilly morning after the local farmers market. Tons of rustic ambiance next to a stream . Loved the server. Breakfast burrito delish and Bloody Mary upgrade to bottomless worth it. See you soon

Friis H.

Yelp
The atmosphere and service were perfect. I ordered the tea. All the options were good and it tasted delicious.

Simone R.

Yelp
Waiters don't come to your table so scanning it on my phone did not work. I had to walk to the bar and order my turkey club sandwich that was $24 ( tip was a must)so unfortunately typical overrated place cause you are in Calabasas. It's a shame.

Arlene M.

Yelp
Super cute inside and I love how it's next to a river type body of water. Drinks were pretty good also idk how much they cost cuz im a #girl

Brad L.

Yelp
I love this place! The food is great and they always treat me well. Alex, the bar manager, is the best! The ambience is really unique and cool. Coffees are excellent and are roasted in house.

Jimmy P.

Yelp
Excellent food, reasonable prices beautiful environment to diner. Great selection on their memu

Rachel M.

Yelp
Both the dinner menu and the drink menu are updated and both were great! New dinner options are elevated. At the table we had the charcuterie, the crudités, the beet salad, the salmon and the steak. All were delicious and everyone enjoyed sharing. We've had both brunch and dinner here many times but last night was better than usual!

Erica P.

Yelp
Hopefully there are better places to eat in Calabasas. Three of us ate here and none of us thought our food was worth the price tag. Ambiance is great.

Steven R.

Yelp
Good food every time. Great service also. We sat outside and the heaters worked really well and made the evening very comfortable. Also enjoyed the beer choices.

Laurie J.

Yelp
Love this place, it is a great location to grub brunch or just coffee! It's so good highly recommend!

Mel V.

Yelp
Our server, Angel, was really friendly and welcoming, and had awesome suggestions about what to order. The restaurant itself was busy but not too crowded, and there were plenty of reservations available for Saturday evening. We got a couple of the happy hour items like the griddle burger and tuna tartare which were both very flavorful and delicious. We also ordered the St. Louis Ribs served with mashed potatoes and sautéed garlic spinach, both of which complemented the ribs and barbecue sauce perfectly. For drinks, we tried the Japanese Lager and the Desert Trails cocktail, both were refreshing and the cocktail had a nice kick from the jalapeño. Overall, we had a great experience for our first time at this restaurant, and really appreciated Angel's service. I look forward to coming back and next time possibly trying the dessert.

Jara S.

Yelp
They carry 10 Speed Coffee here (Third Wave coffee, micro-batch roasting, responsible sourcing). When you see baristas weighing each shot and manually tamping, you know they mean business. Came in on a whim after watching a movie at WLV. Parking can be a little tricky on Saturdays as the farmers market is also situated in the same vicinity, there's also construction and it's a one way street -- by this point you get the drift. Parking is messy. They actually have Yelp Waitlist, great! Put my name down and was sat quickly (it was around 1:30PM, so the brunch groups have probably left) I ordered espresso and it came out with a sidecar automatically, staaahhhp. The crema on top was that perfect golden glow and as expected it was just smooth. Notes of dark chocolate, berries and a little caramel in there. I see you. The husband ordered a nitro cold brew and got a cold brew instead, the notes on it was so different than the espresso, but not in a bad way. This was on the notes of nutty, oaky flavors. It was good, the ice to coffee ratio was a little off though. Service was fantastic and super attentive. The bartenders were cool too, had a little friendly banter about holiday decorations haha Ambiance is fantastic, if you can get over the parking situation -- which is LA for you. It's a laid back oasis in Calabasas without feeling too uppity, dress up dress down, everyone was nice. Can't wait to go back! --not on a Saturday

Carmen P.

Yelp
I came here for breakfast with a friend on a Saturday morning. We didn't realize there was a farmers market and parking was bit hard to find but we just used a valet next door. I ordered a lavender latte and the poke salad. Both were delicious and the salad portion was big. She ordered the avocado toast with egg. She really enjoyed her meal too and again the portion was big. The vibes were nice too. We were able to talk while we enjoyed our meals. The service was great too. They were busy but the waitress came and checked on us often.

Pardees F.

Yelp
My go to breakfast spot. They always have available seating in their cute outdoor space even at peak hours. The max I have ever had to wait was 15 minutes but it rarely ever happens. Their food is always good. I normally get their eggs Benedict but I have gotten other items which are just as good. I've had their avocado toast, their pumpkin bread French toast, zucchini bread French toast, and more. I haven't had a bad thing there. The vibes are immaculate, such a cute seating area. Just a nice casual place to hangout with friends, especially after the farmers market on Saturdays!

Dawn B.

Yelp
LOVE the 10 speed coffee shop! I had an amazing Cortado, the avocado toast was off the charts! . The entire experience was great, of course I'm back for a third time to have the avocado toast and experience the amazing coffee and fun atmosphere. The coffee they roast in house, and the barista's definitely have their act down.

Christina A.

Yelp
First time checking this place out and not the last. I went with a group on Saturday. Food 5 out of 5 The food is so good! We ordered an appetizer and I ordered the shrimp scampi. The appetizer is big enough for 4 people. We shared it. The shrimp scampi can be shared also. There was a good mix of food options. Ambiance 5 out of 5 Really nice restaurant. It's a bit small but the outdoor area is beautiful. We got to see a family of raccoons. Service 4 out of 5 Service was good overall. Only issue I had is, it was hard to get the check at the end. Our waiter was pretty attentive overall. Definitely recommend this place. The food and drinks are good. It's a great place for groups. I will return

Carlee M.

Yelp
Food, service, and ambiance were fantastic. Best brunch I've had in a long time. Highly recommend the the brisket hash!

Tricia D.

Yelp
They have terrible service and I was one of the only people there and it took over an hour to get my food and I only order 4 things for me.
