Ballard’s Samara Restaurant is Now Serving Tasting Menus - Eater Seattle

"After nine years of serving brews in its Ballard beer garden, Peddler Brewing is permanently closing as its owners, Haley and Dave Keller, move to Arizona. According to an online statement, another brewery will take over, with details to be announced soon. This weekend marks the brewery’s last and will be celebrated with a performance from Irish band Whiskey Mary on Friday and a big closing party on Saturday. Find more details on the business’ blog." - Jade Yamazaki Stewart

Snowstorm Damages Outdoor Seating at Seattle Restaurants and Breweries - Eater Seattle

"Peddler Brewing in Ballard — a seven-year-old hangout for cyclists known for its small batch ales — was one of several neighborhood spots that found tents and canopies completely collapsed over the weekend. Co-owner Haley Keller tells Eater Seattle the tally to rebuild (replacing the tent framing, A/V, and a projector screen) would likely be around $5,000." - Gabe Guarente

12 Best Breweries in Seattle | Condé Nast Traveler

"As you might expect for a bicycle brewery, most patrons are donning their finest athleisure ware. People routinely stop here for a beer pitstop on a weekend ride. Bicycle races are usually playing on a TV in the beer garden." - Jenna Scatena

This location is really cool. I loved the bicycle decor in the open back area. Lots of locals brought their dogs, kids and family to hang out on the Saturday afternoon. Had the cider beer, it was very sweet but tasty. Hung out there for a few hours catching up with an old friend, which this place is built for. It was cool to see the brewery as you walked through to the back patio area. Food trucks also showed up while we were there, which was nice to help offset the beer. Will recommend to others!

Nice collection of beers with a dog friendly seating area and an outdoor large area for seating. I actually went to check out the food truck and was pleasantly surprised by their beer collection. Tried the dad's joke IPA and winter ale, a darker beer. Both were really great but I preferred the winter IPA more as I like darker beer more. There was a decent queue considering it was the weekend but the line was queue as the service was very fast. Parking though was hard to find.

Great outdoor seating area with two fireplaces for colder days. Home brews are worth the visit. Can order food from the place next door and pickup in the beer garden.

Super nice and friendly brewery. Nice seating in the front, and the back patio is even better. Very dog and bike friendly. The beer selection was pretty big, and I really liked the beers. There’s also a sandwich shop next door for food. Overall great experience!

Google
Cycle-themed brewery w/o a single Radler (German for “bicyclist”) beer on tap: -5 points. Would be great to have a simple Hefeweizen + Lemonade mix on a hot day and the Tangerine Hef on tap was hard for me to finish, not spectacular. Beer Garden in back is dog friendly, plenty of bicycle parking and some car spots in alley, cornhole games, covered wood picnic benches (RSVP for a group), great to mingle and some live evening music in summer: +2 points. Vegan “Fieldroast” hot dogs from the Cycle Dogs food truck and burgers next door from Mean Sandwich: +1 point. Total: 3 stars!

Biggest patio in Ballard, possibly all of Seattle. Outdoor movie nights, food truck, two bars, and the coveted brewery smell. Tons of bike parking right off the trail and a good list of beers to try. The beer here won't blow your mind, but it's solid and varied. Massive flights. Check out the rest of the bike and brew route on the Cycling Cicerone blog.

Nice folks and cool spot, but the beers I tried didn’t live up to expectations. Most were pretty watery and didn’t have enough body to them. Solid spot overall to hang out with lots of varieties and options for drinks.

Super friendly staff, low key place with a great outdoor beer garden area. Great brews, most their own - but also with some rotating taps. They don't serve food, but there's a foodtruck in the beer garden and a sandwich shop next door... And they allow you to bring in your own food too!
