Pee Wee's at the Point

Sharon and the team at Pee Wee’s were absolutely phenomenal for our wedding! ❤️ We live interstate, so naturally we were a bit nervous about coordinating everything from afar. But having the Pee Wee’s team made the whole process a breeze. 💨 Our journey took around 18 months from engagement to wedding day, and from the very beginning we felt thoroughly supported and genuinely cared for. From their patience while we decided on our date (which I went back and forth on for life reasons!), to allowing multiple drop-in site visits when we were in town, organising an on-site rehearsal, seamlessly coordinating with all our vendors, and even taking the time for a generous planning video conference with Sharon 🥹 Pee Wee’s truly went above and beyond. They’ve done this hundreds of times and know all the local vendors, but what stands out is how personal the experience feels. They genuinely value how important your day is and put so much care into creating something that feels truly you. The venue is, of course, stunning, and the food was amazing! We’ve been to so many weddings where this isn’t the case, but Pee Wee’s catered for our 150 guests with ease. The service was flawless, and even the pack up and pack down were taken care of, which is such a relief at the end of a big night! We’d recommend Pee Wee’s to anyone planning a wedding. Just get in quick… because all of Darwin clearly knows how special this place is! 💛

This place has gorgeous views and amazing food! The service is exceptional and the staff are lovely! There is some interesting history to the area and a heritage building next to the restaurant. The only negative was the noise - people talking and the sound seemed to echo throughout the building, but it was still a wonderful experience and very popular!

View, view, view - and lovely food. A surprisingly secluded location from a tourist’s point of view, but totally worth a visit. An amazing view over Darwin’s skyline across the bay that passes through all the shades and reflections at the sunset. Great food and drinks. A gem!

My husband and I wanted to go somewhere special for our wedding anniversary so we picked Pee Wee's at the Point and we are so happy we made that decision. The staff was friendly and service was excellent. Both entrees and mains were delicious and well portioned. The view of the bay is beautiful, especially around the time the sun is setting. We will be returning in the future!

I always read reviews before going to any restaurant. I got worried with the review about the quality of the food. Most of the reviews are ok so I thought I still want to try. The review that I read was right. Food is not superb ( you won’t go back for it) and yes it’s noisy as per the review but surely the restaurant’s asset is their team. The service is great, can’t argue. I owner should taste their menus as it’s really not the best

Nice chilled space with lovely view. Food was brilliant and drinks. Very spacious place , felt like it was missing something. Staff brilliant service, not long to wait for food and drinks.

Had a wonderful dinner at Pee Wee’s at the Point. The ocean-front view is absolutely stunning , one of the best settings in Darwin, especially at sunset. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of local flavours. The service was warm and attentive, and the cwine paired perfectly with the meal. I have to mention the cassava cake: such a comforting dessert that instantly reminded me of Brazilian bolo de aipim a perfect nostalgic touch.

Absolutely amazing place with fantastic food! I went there to celebrate my birthday and it turned into such a special, unforgettable moment. Highly recommend!

If you're into fine dining and want to do something extra then Pee Wee's has you covered. The architecture is impressive and the food is soooo good! We had a tasting plate which was not too much so I could still fit in dinner, but enough to make you curious about what was to come. I ordered the bbq octopus which was really nice and my husband had the lamb back strap which he said was cooked to perfection. The views of the city and ocean are simply stunning but unfortunately the windows has fogged up a bit and blocked our view. We would be happy to have a drink next time just at the outside bar if the weather was like it was last night.

Go for the view, but the food itself was a total letdown. Overcook barrramundi is a SIN, and this place committed a real doozy. Cocktails were subpar, terrible appetizer selection that we felt compelled to get with pressure from the waitress. Service was an absolute bore - we waited 90 minutes for our entrees and had to beg for the check 3 times so we could get out of there. But yes, a lovely view. Skip this one. There is better food elsewhere and CERTAINLY better service.

When we told our friends we were going to Darwin, everyone told us to go to Pee Wee, "the best restaurant in Darwin". Same thing when we arrived, taxi drivers told us to go to. So it is with high expectations that we arrived there. We got put on a table on the terrasse (couple of stairs up from the main sitting area) which was nice because I think we had a better view but it was next to the stairs where all the waiters walked by, and it kept shaking our whole table. And not by a little. We asked to change and got a quieter one. We tried the pee wee tasting board for starters - which had some salmon, some crocodile (deep fried, why?), a liver pate, and oysters. It was good but not super amazing. For main, my husband had the pork belly which he really liked and I had the chicken - again good but not amazing. Otherwise, the view was great - it's a lovely place with great scenery. The atmosphere is a bit weird - you have very chic people on dates, and then you have others in shorts and flip flops. Overall, I don't think the food is worth the price. But the scenery makes up for it.

Always impeccable food and service. Great views from the restaurant which makes for a great evening. Would recommend for a romantic evening or for a special occasion as prices are quite high but worth it.

Went there for a dinner with my partner. Food was great, service was outstanding! Will definitely head there next time I'm in Darwin!

Best food in town! Have dined here for dinner and also a wedding. The meals won't disappoint. Be sure to get a table outside overlooking the water. Is an expensive restaurant but worth it.

Absolutely delicious food! Attended a hosted dinner here, and as the Aussies would say, it was Gold Class. Great food and great service. I really enjoyed my roast duckling main, but those who opted for the barramundi also raved. Topped that off with a delicious Chocolate Indulgence dessert medley that was also first rate. Great view and atmosphere by the water, although that also brought the one downside to this place: mosquitoes. They were a real nuisance. Luckily, someone had the presence of mind to bring some bug repellent, which worked wonders. Somehow, I didn't get bit once the whole evening even though I killed 5 little guys. Maybe they should invest in some Citronella candles.
