I really enjoy Peet’s Coffee! The drinks are always delicious and fresh, and the baristas are friendly and fast. It’s a great place to grab my morning coffee. ☕️☕️☕️

A great spot to grab a quick bite to eat. The kiosk is user friendly and service is great. The horchata cold brew oat latte seemed interesting, but it lacked the horchata flavor. The roasted turkey parmesan ciabatta was tasty. Outside seating allows customers to dine-in.

Great service for even phone order! All the staffs are very kind friendly. Coffee is also awesome!

The brioche breakfast sandwich was good. The coffee was the worse I got on a Peet’s store. I was expecting their traditional strong coffee and got a watery mess instead. The place it’s more of a take out window, with three small tables outside.

Very impersonal. Stopped by here on a strong recommendation of a friend, but I felt like I was buying from a vending machine. $12 later and I have a mediocre coffee and a squished croissant, mostly likely reheated from frozen - definitely doesn’t taste like it was made on site or even the same day.

I appreciate this Peet's location giving out free small coffee or hot tea on Christmas Eve. I haven't had Peet's for awhile and really enjoyed the coffee. The barista was also very friendly and helpful. No sit down instead this cafe but there are 2-3 tables and chairs outside.

This Peet's is located in the financial area. I've ordered online through the app before and I've used the self order kiosks. Online ordering is obviously the fastest if you're in a rush. Ordering through the kiosk was easy and I've never had to wait too long. The servers have always been nice. Whether you order online or at the kiosk, they have another screen that will populate your first name & initial of your last name. If you drink is ready, it will say "Ready" next to your name. They only have a handful of tables and seats outside. There is no seating inside. I tried the Lavender Vanilla Latte, half vanilla syrup, & oat milk. I have to say...it's my favorite drink now. I loved it! It was so good! Unfortunately, it's going to make me want to stop by there everyday now!

Friendly, reliable, good, quick. Just right for breakfast and caffeine! Very convenient if you're walking, but note there is loud construction out front on the street lately

Paper straws with iced cold beverages is a combination no one asked for. Roll out better straws or the sippy cup lids.

I've been there several times recently and on each occasion the staff was very friendly and helpful. Really enjoying the "Derby" coffee drink.

I needed to get a bag of Dubs Blend as a gift for my friend's birthday and I was directed here by the worker at another store since they were sold out. This shop is at the corner of Montgomery and Bush. It's a smaller location with some counter tables by the window and tables outside. On the display, there was the Dubs Blend. Got a bag and had it ground for drip. The worker was friendly and cheery and he said it would get it ground and ready for me after getting my complementary cup of coffee. In a couple of minutes, he brought me my bag of coffee in a handle bag and thanked for waiting. One of the friendliest Peet's stores that I've been to.

Dissapointed to see there's still no change at Montgomery Street PEET'S COFFEE after the disastrous renovation that everyone hates except the German conglomerate bought PEET'S office execs who've never been to the location. Turned cafe into a 6 X 12 cattle car with floor-to-ceiling walls sealing customers off from employees. No face-to-face interaction = not bad customer service. Just zero customer service. Against San Francisco law, this location is PEET'S test store for going cashless and automated. Teachable moment for the business school grads who came up with this horrible idea: Why would anyone go to a walk-in vending machine, when PEET's built consumer demo for the gold standard Bay Area cafe experience for over 50 years. Throw all that work away. This should be an example of how to destroy a business.

After lunch, we decided to grab some coffees. One of my coworkers went for a coffee run and came back on Friday, January 18th a little after 12 noon. I got a triple (or maybe quadruple? I can't remember) espresso. The coffee here is okay. No delicious crema on my espresso. But for the pure purpose of a caffeine kick, it did its job. Taste wise, it was fine. I like my coffee strong, so I found the one from Peet's rather weak. I used to drink coffee all the time, but I've cut down in the recent years. Peet's is still an okay option when I just need some caffeine in my system.

Came to write what a miserable experience this Peet's has turned into, but Matthew L. and Samantha S. beat me to it - and did a better job of explaining than I could. Trying to get a simple black cup of coffee here was like being wrung through some automat wringer. Took 10 minutes to get my coffee as people who ordered after me got their drinks, everyone working was rushed, short, flustered, the tiny space was crowded. Just miserable all around. Hellish. Won't be coming back. Would give zero stars if I could.

Peet's has been my go-to coffee shop in San Francisco for years, yup pre-Jeremy S. Yelp days. At one time it was the only coffee shop I'd visit in my hood. Since then more independent coffee shops have peaked my interest and Philz has probably taken over as my main squeeze, yet Peet's is still a part of my lifestyle. There was a time it was all about Peet's versus Starbucks in the Bay Area, but now all coffee chains can pretty much survive in our caffeine driven society. I still prefer a good cup of joe from an independent versus a chain, but I admit Peet's is there if I need consistency. On my latest visit to Peet's... I was in the Financial District on Montgomery headed to the airport at 5:00 a.m. in the morning and realized not much coffee shops were open at the early bird hour, but lucky me as I literally bumped into this Peet's with "open" sign! Hella Yes! I need coffee stat! I walk in and I'm warmly greeted (not always the case at all Peet's) which was nice early in my grouchy morning. I order my house coffee and cranberry walnut scone. I grab a seat on the outside and by 5:15 a.m. the place is packed from Wall Street bankers to construction workers. The coffee consistently good as I remember her and the sweetness of the scone was a nice compliment to my much needed caffeine. It is time to me to head out for my flight... until next time... *shakes hips*

This is another good Peet's location to get a good cup of the jet fuel known as the White Chocolate Mocha. This location is more for an outdoor coffee experience in the Financial District of San Francisco. Great service.

I love real caffeine n well Peet's the best on taste and flavor if I'll leave a Yelp review I'll said that plus Customer Service it's a 10 but I'll like for you guys to back to open to 4am because once i gt to my job the first thing I wanna do it's Run to Peet's but unfortunately, great Quality and Quantity has a waiting time period . Outstanding Service. Try they Iced green tea and black teas they are Ridiculously Refreshing.

They ruined this Peet's. You walk in to a sign that says ORDER with an arrow pointing at the machines. As I stood in front of the machine looking at the screen a wave of sadness washed over me. This has been one of my favorite places in the Financial District to go. I will echo previous reviews regarding the extremely impersonal WALL separating the baristas from the customers and the fact that the person who took my order was stressed out and running around in a frenzy. Gone is the warm and fuzzy feeling. I really hope they don't ruin any more Peet's.

Pretty solid spot for some quick coffee. This spot is on my way to work so it's a pretty convenient place to stop by if I know I'll be having a long day and need a coffee and a treat to get the day started. The staff is friendly and nice but it does tend to get full and a line forms during certain times in the morning.

I never leave reviews but I just had to after meeting Dell behind the counter here. I popped by for a quick to go coffee and left totally smiling because of how warm and wonderful he was. In just the few minutes it took to take my order he brightened my day significantly! I'm sure a ton of regulars come by just to see him, and if I were local I would too. Promote him! Hell, make him CEO! Thank you Dell!

The best Peet's in financial district. The morning team is always so welcoming when i grab my latte before work and the afternoon team is great also when I need my after lunch pick me up. My favorite Peet's location to go to! The staff is awesome, warm and welcoming. Thanks to you all. RJ

Usually I only drink blue bottle coffee which is close by my office building, but after the tasty nitro cold brew coupled with the amazing customer service, I walk an extra couple blocks for this particular Peet's location. The gentleman with the funny name tag ("Crazy - -") always puts a smile on my face and every time I bring my colleagues, we love his customer service, and always leave feeling like we've been taken care of. Highly recommended!

I try using a "Happy Bites" gift card which clearly states I can use it at Peet's Coffee, but the cashier was too lazy to read the instructions on how to use the gift card and he denied my purchase. So I walked out, it was very embarrassing. Funny thing is that a few blocks down, another Peet's Coffee location took the gift card with no problems.

Good Berkeley based local coffee chain. Coffee is good, the selection of food leaves much to be desired. Prices are fair.

I didn't get his name but his name tag says "crazy blah blah blah" (I'm adding the blah blah blah part because I didn't get the rest of the name on his name tag) on it. I ordered a "LARGE ICED COFFEE" in which he QUICKLY! Corrected me not once, but TWICE! "You mean a LARGE COLD brew". To which I finally gave into and just said "SURE!" He really takes his coffee serious I guess. So I ordered my "COLD BREW". Walked over to the table where they have the half and half and what not for the coffee, went to pour some in my coffee and the effing top to the half and half came off and fell into my iced coffee, I mean "COLD BREW". Another previous customer obviously didn't tighten it back the way it should be. Making a mess everywhere! I rushed over to tell "crazy blah blah blah" and before I can tell him about the mess, he cut me off with attitude! and told me to go get in line to order! I don't know why he thought I was ordering with the effing half and half can in my hand dripping. I followed him to TRY to tell him again! And AGAIN! "Crazy blah blah blah" wasn't having it. He must of noticed the half and half can in my hand the second time I tried to tell him, but instead of letting me explain he interrupted me AGAIN! and said that he would "get me half and half in a second" I finally got loud and told him what happened! of which he looked super confused as to why I was STILL trying to tell him. he proceeds to ask me "how much had spilled".... I walked out. Who ever this "crazy blah blah" individual is that works there, needs to calm it down and LISTEN! Before you start cutting people off like YOU are the customer. That's not how this works. I just wanted my coffe :( I was even going to offer to clean it for them! But not with "crazy blah blah blah" helping me. I grabbed the spilled "COLD BREW" and threw it away and walked out. VERY dramatically! Because my coffee! That's why!. Least to say! I wish the old staff was still there. But nope. Oh well. Never again.

So I'm walking to work at 5:45 am and I come across a Peets and on the menu...BIG as day...they have Nitro on tap. (awe yeah)! Opens at 6...a ten minute wait, okay. I can see the workers inside getting ready...they see me but, don't acknowledge me...I wait. 2 minutes before opening...one worker walks to the door and looks at his watch. Okay! I ask for the Nitro and he says...we do t have it with attitude. I can spend my 6.00 anywhere but here! It's just coffee!

Awesome staff! They know my name now and what I like on my mochas. Good customer service, I come here almost everyday.

I'm admittedly snobby about my coffee, and I love this place. Great coffee and great customer service, go to morning spot as Dell always remembers my name and my drink. Can't ask for more!

I would like to place a complaint. I was appalled by the way I was treated at this cafe the other day; I was ignored by the person behind the counter who was busy messaging on her phone. When I tried to get her attention, I was basically told off. I later found out that this rude, unprofessional individual was the store manager!

The staff here is the only reason I keep coming to this specific location. They know exactly how I like my drink made and have consistently delivered. The Market St. location is closer to the office, but I enjoy the walk to this location much more.
