Peet's Coffee in San Francisco International Airport's Terminal 3 was not the most pleasant stop during my travels. While Peet's isn't usually my first choice for coffee or tea, it was the only option in the terminal, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. I ordered a black coffee, a green tea, and apple turnovers, but only the black coffee was correct. My green tea turned out to be some sort of berry tea, and instead of turnovers, I was handed donuts.
The service also left something to be desired. While the staff was not outright rude, they seemed rushed and inattentive, which may explain why my order was incorrect. It's understandable that airport coffee shops can get busy, but attention to detail is still essential. The black coffee itself was fine, but nothing memorable enough to redeem the overall experience. The lack of accuracy in fulfilling my order reinforced my ongoing frustration with Peet's.
Overall, Peet's Coffee at this location left much to be desired. With limited options in the terminal, I hoped for a smoother experience, but it confirmed why Peet's hasn't been my go-to. Consistency and care in service would go a long way in improving customer satisfaction, especially in a high-traffic airport environment.
