Peet's Coffee

I had my morning coffee at this coffee shop and I had a chance to spend some time over here. It’s really nice and cool place, and the coffee was fantastic delicious and I had a chocolate croissant it was okay. Servise was quick. The people works there nice as well. I recommend you to come here.

Was desperate for my afternoon coffee and came across Peet’s. I popped my head in and the smell was just wonderful, it made me want to walk to the counter. I ordered a small cappuccino and didn’t have to wait too long. I’m glad I chose to sit and have my coffee inside as in my opinion the coffee was extremely bitter and burnt tasting. They had honey on the side, I added this to my coffee - the first time adding something sweet in 8.5 years. By half way I also had to add half & half, super strong coffee.

Stepping into Peet's Coffee for the first time, I was on a desperate mission: find a pick-me-up that wouldn't send me into a caffeine-induced frenzy. Thankfully, Dee, my barista, was on the case. When I explained my need for a wake-up call without the jitters, Dee immediately impressed me with his exemplary customer service. He thoughtfully asked if I preferred a hot or cold drink, then hit me with a recommendation I never would've considered: a Matcha tea with Lemonade and Peach. And let me tell you, it was a perfect combination! Exactly what I needed to feel energized and focused without any unpleasant side effects. Dee's recommendation was spot-on, making my first Peet's experience an absolute win. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Recently had a falling out with Starbucks over the lack of professional service - nationwide. I was searching for the new best place to go for coffee and I would say I am not disappointed! I’m impressed actually! The ladies in here this morning were absolutely helpful and nice! A far cry from what starbucks has turned into! This is enough to make me loyal. Not to mention the coffee is actually pretty damn good! I had a latte and the drink was actually cared for… not just made. Ditching starbutts - new loyal fan, Pete!

I had a cappuccino here and the flavour of the brew was nice. The service was super slow though.

Coffee smells super good. Have been buying Peet’s roasted beans but this is my first time to their store. 10 out of 10. Croissant is excellent as well.

Fast service and good food. Only issue, will you order a quiche and they had no ketchup or condiments and they all did not have knives or forks. Seemed odd.

Wonderful customer service. I was greeted and eased through the line. Super clean and I could have spent hours there. Tasty breakfast and strong coffee.

Lovely, cozy atmosphere to chill and read, work, people watch and of course drink Peet's delicious coffee. The employees are super nice and helpful which I always appreciate. If you don't like coffee they have plenty of other wonderful beverages. The matcha latte is pretty tasty! This is right next to the Hilton so it is super convenient if you are staying there like we did. Peet's is what Starbucks used to be--but way better! They stick to making great coffee, tea, cocoa beverages in a cozy environment. I wish they were in Virginia!

I tried their pumpkin latte, and it was very sweet and had a synthetic flavor for my taste. But the server was extremely nice and there's lots of space in this café. Plus, it seems to be peaceful enough to get some work done, so I'll be back.

Stayed at the hotel close by and wanted to grab coffee. Peet's coffee was conveniently across the street. The staff were nice and quick! Ordered the amazing caramel iced coffee! I had to compliment the barista because he did such a phenomenal job!

Emprr had incredible customer service this morning per usual! I think they were down a person, only two people total up front during the 8am hour but they handled business and moved things along! Thankful to be a regular here!

Let's talk about customer service real fast. This is the friendliest, nicest, and caring coffee shop I have ever been to. All those employees better be making $30! They were so welcoming and so sweet and just kind individuals that they all made my morning. I was visiting from out of town and I was having a bad day and they turned it all around without knowing. ON TOP OF THAT this location is CLEAN! My tea & my food was PHENOMENAL! I'm going back before i head out of DC just cause of the service and experience.

Probably the nicest Peet's I've ever been to. Great vegan options, efficient and kind service, ample seating. Laid out like Starbucks used to be before they cut back square footage.

Peet's was right within walking distance of our hotel during our stay in NoMa. Who doesn't love Peet's apparently. We went there twice during the weekend and each time we had delicious coffee and pastries. Service was quick and the atmosphere was clean. Highly recommend, it's even an outside area if you'd like to people watch

Great location and great service at this Peet's. Inside was tidy and clean. 3 team members were eager to help. Store was well stocked and presented well. Water, snacks and fresh breakfast items available. Plenty of indoor and some outdoor seating. Outdoor area was a bit dirty with trash right by the front door. People become numb to trash in DC but a business should police their area to invite customers. Ordered the espresso which was good with only a hint of bitterness. Prices as expected and service was very fast. Good experience. Would come back.

First visit to a Peet's coffee shop. I've had their coffee at other places but never their own establishment. Customer service was great from the start. The barista asked what kind of coffee I typically like. I told him I like to try new things. He made me a hot dirty vanilla chai. It tasted fantastic. I came here to study and they have plenty of room to do just that. Outlets everywhere including throughout the floor, so no problem scoping that out when you walk in and come with an uncharged laptop. After an hour of studying, I ordered my second drink and some sustenance. This time I ordered a hot hazelnut latte, extra hazelnut and a hot ham & cheese sandwich, extra crispy. It tasted perfect and was not skimpy on the ham or cheese. It's a rainy Saturday afternoon and the people here definitely came to get some work and studying done. It's quiet, the music is just the right volume, and the barista even brought my orders right to me. I'll definitely be back!

Being from Tampa, this is the first time we had been to a Peet's. Fast, and friendly -- Every baked good and breakfast sandwich we ordered was hot, and/or fresh. The iced, caramel, macchiato was fantastic, but I did sub 2% for whole milk because I like them creamier. The shop was clean, and was servicing a ton of patrons clearly headed to work, and everyone knew the routine. I love a highly efficient spot!

Nice coffee... breakfast items were really good. I really loved Plant based sandwich and veggie breakfast burrito. Egg and cheese sandwich is waste of money unless you are big fan of it and it was pricy as compared to other items.

I absolutely love Peet's coffee! Highly recommend. I've tried their horchata cold brew, Turkey bacon & egg white sandwich, Pumpkin cold brew oat latte with brown sugar jelly, and the chicken waffle sandwich. I loved every single one of these products and would definitely recommend them! The employees are very welcoming as well and bring your items to you, which I found very nice! So glad this is nearby and a 2min walk from my apartment.

Came in for an afternoon refresher during a busy Friday afternoon. I work nearby. Seems like a great and relaxing shop to get work done. But I was most blown away by Dee's service. He was so kind and made me theeee best refreshing tea/lemonade topped with beautiful dried fruit! Can't wait to return on these hot days when I need a refreshing break. Thanks so much Dee for making my day...& with a smile!

This is a very nice place, the staff who work here are nice, and the coffees are very nice as well.

Iced Americano and w/e the Mrs had. We also had the everything plant based breakfast sandwiches. I liked mine very much. The wife likes the competition's better-something to do with the pepper flavor in Peets' sandwich. I like things with flavor- especially FOOD so i'll stick with Peet's and leave the mermaid's offerings alone. Also Peets' coffee is BY FAR better than the Mermaids burnt, i mean heavily roasted coffee. The price points are comparable (why do these coffee places charge .80 for SOY MILK?!? Asking for a friend- a pissed off friend) i have been making my own espresso for the past 4 yrs at home, but when I do go out for coffee- i will be going to Peet's. (If I can locate one in the vicinity of my work places) Great job Peet's.

This is just on customer service. Today's gentleman barista was extra nice and friendly to me and my son not knowing that I had a death in the family just that morning my experience today at Pete's coffee put a big smile on my face.

I love this Peet's. So much better than the better known name down the block. Super friendly staff.

The food and service are great, but I can't eat here anymore because I noticed the piles and piles of dead bugs in the windowsill and I get sick whenever I think about it

This Peet's location in NoMa is one of the best Peet's in the area. Cashiers are super personable and baristas are very friendly. Drink quality is superb - they will take the extra little bit of time to make sure your drink is top notch. Seating and ambience is perfect for sitting and working on a laptop, reading, or just hanging out and enjoying a good coffee!

Great coffee Ordered 2 coffees, one was the medium roast and one was the dark roast. I am enjoying the taste and flavor of the dark and my wife loves the medium roast. Ordered a Bacon Cheddar sandwich and it was quite tasty. It was busy , but I was greeted and my order taken promptly. I was given a carrier for my coffees by one of the 2 friendly baristas and I was on my way ! Great way to start the day in DC!

Glad to have another coffee shop option in NoMa! I came on their pre-opening day, with free coffee until noon, so it was crowded with the service a bit unorganized and frantic. Once they get the kinks worked out I'm sure it'll be a go-to in the neighborhood. They space is very open, with plenty of seating and room in between tables. It has a warm and comforting atmosphere. I can see it being a good study place in the future. I had a mocha latte and it was great. They also have some good-looking breakfast sandwiches. Hoping to come back once they are a bit more settled.

I used to be an avid Starbucks fan, but thanks to the excellent customer service I receive EVERY time I enter NoMa's Peet's, that is the case no more. Always greeted by a friendly employee who makes sure to repeat back the order to ensure it's accuracy. If you download the Peet's app, you can check in and even pay for your order. Each check in earns you points towards rewards that appear on your app. I normally opt in the mornings for the Green Tea Tropical Fog and the Bacon and Cheddar Brioche (on occasions I get their Banana Nut Bread). Great staff and they make the visit always a happy occasion - can't sing the praises of Peet's enough!

Plenty of seating, friendly staff. Good coffee, and I like their pastries and warm breakfast foods as well. I love their music selection, too. Overall a great place to park your laptop and work for a while.

Peet's Coffee is a fave of mine for sure. Don't have them near me locally, but buy the coffee. While in Washington, D.C. I stopped at this location on Thanksgiving. The staff is what makes it. They were friendly and what a nice way to start your day in a world that is more negative than positive. Awesome job!

I just moved into the NoMa area for work and finding a good and close coffee shop was a must. I am normally a Starbuck's person, but the one closest seems to be a hot mess. Peet's has consistently delivered every time, taking time to make each order correctly and quickly. Every latte I get, they pour the milk in with care and it comes out so pretty! Not to mention, the staff are always friendly and this means more than they will ever know! Go NoMa Peet's!!
