Nothing but smiles and cheerfulness and delicious coffee. The baristas at Peet's are fantastic! Happy, friendly, and eager to make this the best place in DC...just what I needed on a Sunday morning. And I love the warm, cozy atmosphere too. Great job! Definitely the best coffe shop in DC!

Tried the Honey Harvest Latte, $5.20 for a small. Moderately expensive, but staff was very friendly and latte was excellent ☕️

Very nice tasting coffee brew. Had this the first thing when we arrived and it was great. The place is quite inside with a lot of room. They have chairs and table outdoors for people to sit and enjoy the warm weather in the spring.

Peet's Coffee is taking over the DC market with yet another store opening, this one in SE DC in Navy Yard. It's literally right next store to the Navy Yard Metro (the non-stadium entrance). Here's what to love: 1) Space: A coffee shop by the metro is always convenient. What's also nice is ample space to sit, enjoy a cup, and get some work done. This location has six smallish tables outside, a long table that seats eight inside as well as five small tables with outlets, three window seats, and three bar seats inside. 2) Wifi: It's free. It's strong. It's perfect. With most of the tables inside coming with outlets, it's a great spot to crank out work for the day. 3) Coffee and food: The coffee is closer to Starbucks so it's sweeter than coffee at independent coffee shops. It's still good and I recommend the white chocolate mocha with whipped cream on top. The food is mass produced, but still decent, especially the warm chocolate chip and pecan muffin. If you live in SE DC and need a place to work, Peet's is a great option!

Edit: The coffee here is good, but management really needs to train their staff on customer service and being friendly and courteous to customers. Also, please train your baristas on the meaning of the words "light ice." I love this place, it's nice to have another close-by option besides Starbucks. Great coffee and food selections and nice and warm atmosphere. Most of the staff is friendly and they work very efficiently. However, there is one employee in the mornings/early afternoon who tends to be rude and short with customers and I'm not the only one who has noticed. That's the only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars.

Highly recommend Havannah Latte and Cold Brew Black Tie. Staff were very kind and very skilled. They know how to make the menu properly and they come out very fast as well. so far so good. Friendly and most importantly, coffee tastes good. Nice to have a new style of coffee besides Starbucks, Lot38, and Philz around the Navy Yard station.

They’re re-open has been no better than their original opening. Since Day One staff has had issues with menu knowledge, order taking, order accuracy, friendliness, and order execution. The only thing good about this place is the coffee...if the staff get’s your order correct. Since the re-opening the same inconsistencies continue only this time management has been rude and abrupt. Very aggressive response received when asked about the Nitro Cold Brew being available. With this level of service, Peet’s Coffee Navy Yard is doing great things for Starbucks and Slipstream.

Good coffee. Good Menu. It's a chain just like other big chains, but seriously none of that typical chain coffee menu style. Seasonal is good and regular peets menu is excellent as well. but the staff is really kind.. uh not just one person. entire crew.
