Google
Such a nice and quaint place to stop for coffee. The atmosphere feels cozy and welcoming, and the coffee itself is really good. It was packed when I went, but definitely worth the wait. A great spot to relax and enjoy the island vibe. Would absolutely visit again.

Google
Such a cute little coffee shop. Very quaint and cozy. I tried the pumpkin pie latte. One of the best lattes I’ve ever had. Wasn’t overly sweet and syrupy. You could really taste the quality. My husband had black coffee and he said that it was a very good brew. We both ordered breakfast. The food was good, not great.

Google
I’m definitely coming back here! Such a cute stop on our trip to Bainbridge! Amazing ivy growing up the building mixed with the brick. Good coffee and maple donuts! Seating is minimal but we got lucky when it wasn’t busy.

I visited Pegasus Coffee House on Bainbridge Island and had a great experience. The place has a warm, cozy vibe and is perfect for a relaxed morning. I ordered a coffee and the smoked salmon avocado toast, and both were really good. The toast was fresh and flavorful, and the coffee was smooth. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere felt calm and inviting. Definitely a nice spot to stop by if you’re in the area.

Google
I tried the mocha along with their freshly baked molten cake. They let you know upfront that the cake takes about 10–15 minutes, and that’s exactly how long it took. The place was crowded, with a line that meant waiting nearly 20 minutes just to place our order. The mocha was nicely balanced—not overly sweet—with strong, good-quality coffee and a subtle chocolate note. The molten lava cake, however, fell short for me. The texture and flavor of the cake itself were underwhelming, though the molten chocolate center was enjoyable. Overall, it’s a decent option, but definitely not as impressive as the hype suggests.

Google
Busy busy busy. Hot chocolate was good and they were accommodating for a beverage we wanted. Service was great super friendly people and the wait time was reasonable.

Google
This was on our list to check out in Bainbridge but we were a little disappointed. We came on a Sunday so the line took awhile which was understandable. However, the coffee was average and the hot cake (that we paid $14+ and waited 20mins for) was a goopy mess :/ The vibes in the cafe were cute tho and the baristas were very friendly!

Google
This was the best coffee I’ve had thus far in my time in Seattle. The space was very packed when we arrived. We managed to find seats on the inside, but there are also seats on the patio too. We didn’t get any of the baked goods though they looked good! If you are a coffee person and interested in going to Bainbridge, I’d definitely make this a stop for a visit to the Seattle area.

Yelp
Loved my iced latte with honey (+$0.25). A few friends ordered their current seasonal pumpkin coffee with cold foam and felt it was underwhelming in pumpkin flavor. There's a decent amount of seating indoors and on their private patio. However, there is only 1 bathroom for the cafe, and the line was pretty long.

Yelp
Anyone who doesn't rate this a 5/5 obviously doesn't know what they're talking about, because this place is the cat's meow. I mean, just look at my pumpkin latte. No, not the crappy Starbucks PSL Latte *barf*. This baddie has actually house made pumpkin syrup. YES MFING PLEASE! As a basic white girl, I can easily say it the best I've ever had. And their croissant? I've been to France, and they'd approve. Oh, and my hubs finished his cappuccino in about three swallows: Not because it was small (it was the perfect size) but so good he couldn't stop drinking it. 100/100 would come again.

Yelp
The sadness right now. This is one of the cutest places I've seen. I wanted to love it so bad. The people working here are so nice and handle the high volume well (in what I imagine is a fast pace and stressful environment). I got their pumpkin cold brew special and it was essentially like drinking water with a whisper of pumpkin. Don't get me wrong, I love a sweet treat coffee, but I do like the taste of coffee as well and it was completely missing that.

Yelp
Chai-der is great for a chilly day! There's a nice walking trail nearby as well if you want to take a drink to go

Yelp
Cute place, small and very busy during the summer. Be prepared to wait out the door! The line does move fairly fast, and the staff is friendly and prompt. Coffee itself is fine, nothing crazy, but it's a picturesque place so it's nice to visit!
google avatar

Tim C.

Yelp
I think like others have said- the drinks are ok. But- the charm of this place still stands- super cute atmosphere by the dock. The food was also the star in my opinion. Bread was crisp, and their aioli for the breakfast sandwiches were perfect. Definitely worth checking out! (Stick with coffee and not tea based stuff)
google avatar

Paulina H.

Yelp
It's definitely one of the place you should go for photos, but the coffee we're meh to us. 5 stars for the decors and customer service!' Their staff was so nice, so complimented me so much and even loved my name! But for the coffee was meh. I got an iced lavender latte and it tasted like water down latte and without any lavender taste. For my husband he got peach cold brew and he hated it so much and he couldn't even finish it. I tried a sip it was too bad but not my favorite.
google avatar

Apoorva N.

Yelp
Went here because its a "must visit" when im bainbridge, the coffee options were freat. The place is mostly packed and has pretty photo ops. The coffee was normal nothing must try kind. The place is self serving . Tried their pumpkin spice latte and the hazelnut latte
google avatar

Joanne W.

Yelp
Ok coffee. Wouldn't get it again. But a nice visit nonetheless. The cold brew I got was a bit too watered down and acidic for me
google avatar

Karlee B.

Yelp
A super cute spot that was poppin after we arrive from the ferry. There was a line that moved quickly. It's a cute shop with great outdoor seating options as well. They have reasonably priced items and the food was pretty good. I enjoyed the avocado toast. The avocado seemed premade and not the freshest but still good and great toppings. The cinnamon roll was decent. My husband enjoyed the burrito. Their latte was also great!
google avatar

Finn C.

Yelp
Very cute place and still a small-town gem feel even despite the instagram fame. Excellent drink and okay food selections.
google avatar

Amber P.

Yelp
cozy - inviting - average coffee. Ok hot take but the coffee was average. Tucked along the waterfront, Pegasus Coffee is a charming little gem that feels like a warm hug on a cloudy Bainbridge morning. It's the perfect prelude to a day of meandering through the downtown shops. The baristas were lovely (shoutout to their patience during the weekend rush), and while the line moves a bit slowly, it's clearly a tourist favorite. I went for the lavender matcha latte. While the lavender was super subtle, the latte had a ton of matcha residue and lacked the flavor that's intended. But decorated with the cutest little latte art on top.

Yelp
Going to this spot after walking around the small town can hit. I thought the chai was very delicious and the coffee was ok. The service was quick and there's seating inside and outside which is nice. It can feel crammed with lots of people waiting but overall it was a good experience.
google avatar

Yelp
Such a cute coffee shop! My breakfast sandwich was good and so was my latte, no complaints there! It was pretty busy and crowded for a Friday morning at 9:30am, there was no available seating inside and very few available seats outside. I wouldn't recommend taking the ferry to visit Bainbridge Island for just an hour, you definitely need to give yourself more time. Unfortunately, I didn't get to really explore the area at all because we were too focused on walking to/from and waiting on our food. Just want to give anyone that does an hour cushion for the ferry a heads up! Although we had gotten our coffee and bakery items fairly quickly, our other breakfast items (breakfast sandwich & avocado toast) took about 20-30 minutes. Granted, it was VERY busy and the staff were doing their best with the rush, totally understandable. The walk to/from the ferry was about 15 minutes, so we had to grab our items and practically run back to the ferry to make it on time. We enjoyed our yummy coffee and breakfast on the ferry back to Seattle! :)

Yelp
My family and I made a stop at the Pegasus Coffee House on our adventure to visit the Bainbridge troll. We went right after the ferry unloaded on Saturday morning around 9:30am. The line was going out the door, but just barely. We waited for roughly 10 minutes before ordering. However, when we got inside there wasn't any seating available so we stood outside and waited. They have a nice outdoor seating area, though it's not covered so you're out of luck in the rain. My sister ordered a cappuccino and really enjoyed it! I was excited to see that they offered Macrina pastries and shared a croissant with my dad. We also tried the classic breakfast sandwich. It was served on toasted sandwich bread and included egg, sausage, and some sort of sauce. It was pretty good, though I think it may be better suited for a different type of bread. Pegasus is really cute and a good stop, but if you're planning on sitting for a while, try to get there early! Or maybe just not right after the ferry unloads.

Yelp
Coolest coffee shop with such a neat history! Inside there is a plaque with info on what Pegasus started out as years ago. I loved this little addition. Inside feels like a cozy cottage! Pegasus is located right next to a seating area that overlooks the water. Probably the best place to sip a hot chocolate on a cold morning. Great coffee and delicious pastries too. The service is great. Friendly team who were all very helpful.
google avatar

Yelp
This appeared to be THE coffee house to visit while you are on BainBridge Island. Very busy and many other places around town have signs displayed that they serve Pegasus Coffee. I found the coffee to just be average. Not bad but not great. Not a place I would go out of my way to visit or to purchase their bag of beans. WiFi didn't work while I was there.
google avatar

Rachel S.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop on Bainbridge Island! We went specifically for the hot cakes (chocolate molten lava cake) served starting at 3pm. It was served with vanilla ice cream with a crunchy caramel topping. It is very rich & worth sharing. You can get here by walking or scheduling a ride with the Pingo App. The small bus will accept your ride, estimate a time for pick up and you can scan your orca card once you get on it. The bus can take up to 30minutes to get to you depending on how many other stops it has and where it is on the island. Both rides I scheduled got to me within 15 minutes and it was a beautiful day, so the wait wasn't bad at all for point to point service.
google avatar

Jennifer M.

Yelp
The atmosphere here is fantastic, the service was good. The coffee was just OK, they didn't understand what I wanted, and had a hard time making it. It pretty simple (quite espresso over ice with white chocolate and) they didn't want to give it to me in an 16oz cup because they said they were afraid I was gonna steal milk... But once you pour the shots over the ice, it really fills up the cup so I don't really know what they were talking about, I just don't think they understood what I was saying. She ended up giving me an Americano over ice, which was fine, but didn't have that strong coffee flavor I was hoping for.

Yelp
Love this place on Bainbridge island! One of my favs! I always go here after school drop. Strongly recommended
google avatar

Julianna Z.

Yelp
Overall this was cute but the coffee was underwhelming and the line was long. Long wait, limited seating and mediocre coffee. Donut was decent but not amazing. Was recommended here via instagram but wasn't impressed. Would pass if there's a long line and find coffee elsewhere.
google avatar

Barbara F.

Yelp
That was literally the worst sandwich I've ever had in my life! It was pricey, completely cold, they didn't even care to toast the bread???? Cheddar was cold and hard, the ham was bad, cold bacon (???) The hot mocha I ordered tasted just like hot chocolate. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
google avatar

Sharon G.

Yelp
This is a lovely little coffee house with both pleasant indoor and outdoor patio space to enjoy your treat and beverage. If you sit on the patio in the summer, you can enjoy the tops of the boats and hopping birds. The inside has an electric fireplace, but it could be a little more fire-like. It's a little faded. The baked goods are Macrina Bakery and they are delicious. I especially love the croissants, pain au chocolate, and raspberry oat bar. My husband loves the morning glory muffin.
google avatar

Kristen L.

Yelp
As a BI'r Pegasus is the perfect spot to grab a coffee and a quick bite. Can be a bit crowded but love the place
google avatar

Deanne B.

Yelp
The highlights- the gorgeous brick and plant front and the fact that they have postcards that you can write on and then they will send them for you for free! This is such a cute idea that I've never seen at a coffee shop before. The drinks were also well made and the baristas were kind.
google avatar

Ash G.

Yelp
Mixed bag this stop, we came to get a nice cup of coffee overlooking the water and discovered that there are actually no tables that do this (huh not sure where some of the pictures are coming from) We also asked for some deserts, specifically some hot cakes, but were told that the oven "could not be turned on" not that it was broken mind you Huh, ok let's talk coffee, the coffee itself wasn't bad but I would definitely steer clear of the cortado if you like your coffee less citrusy, the latte was much better I am a little disappointed, not sure I'd carve out some time to revisit, love the cap I got from there though
google avatar

Dani D.

Yelp
Truly one of the most beautiful little coffee shops hidden waterside on bainbridge island. The service was friendly, there was live music and the drinks got out to us pretty quickly. We were also able to find seating on a Friday afternoon. Espresso was nice and strong and the drinks were not too sweet at all. Very pleasant. I also ordered the Samoas Girl Scout cookie doughnut and it was just okay. A little on the dryer side, but still edible. Pleasant experience and would do it again.
google avatar

Yelp
We had a truly wonderful visit to Pegasus on Bainbridge island. The shop itself is beautiful, kind of made me feel like we jumped into the Shire hehe. The place was busy, so you know it's going to be good. Line out the door type situation. I ordered an iced mocha with oat milk, which was great. They have a little bar next to the water station with cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. you can add to the drinks if you wish. Next time with more time I'd love to spend time inside the shop, read, etc. The patio was also very pretty for summer days!
google avatar

Alex B.

Yelp
Came for the coffee (YUM!) but was quickly flabbergasted by how delicious the brisket breakfast wrap was!! Cheesy, potatoey, and a bit beefy, I was in cozy breakfast heaven. Not to mention my pumpkin pie latte happily by to wash it all down. I wish I had a picture to share but it was gone too fast. We come here every time we come to bainbridge!
google avatar

Kristen N.

Yelp
I stopped by for a cold brew and really liked it, although I wish they had iced coffee! I loved that you could write a free postcard and they'll send it out for you. Photo is of the view just outside the shop.

Yelp
After seeing Pegasus Coffee House on every single Bainbridge Island itinerary on social media, my family couldn't miss this spot while visiting the island. I ordered a 12oz iced mocha with oat milk and enjoyed how creamy and smooth it tasted. There was a good balance between the taste of the coffee and the sweet flavour of the chocolate. The baristas were super sweet and helpful, and our coffee came out within five minutes of us ordering. When my mom let a barista know about there not being toilet paper in the bathroom, she immediately went to change it. We appreciated the welcoming and speedy service. The atmosphere of the coffee shop was also very cozy. The lights and décor are cute and I think it's nice that they also have board games to play. We easily found a table in the mostly empty cafe, though it was dirty and we had to wipe it down ourselves. I also loved that they had free postcards on the counter! I wrote one to my little sister and I can't wait to bring her here for a sister reading coffee date. Obsessed with this place and the staff and will definitely have to come back.

Yelp
Atmosphere: 3.5 stars Food: 3.5 stars Service: 3.5 stars Pegasus Coffee House appears very well known. It is a quaint, but in most ways very typical coffee shop. We got a mocha and an Americano with an almond danish. The Americano was a bit acidic for our tastes. So, if you like your coffee a bit on the acidic side, this is for you. The mocha was pretty good as was the almond danish. Nothing really stood out, but it's not bad, either. The service was fine. Prices are pretty typical these days - about $16 for everything described here. The outside of the coffee shop is quaint and attractive in its own way. Inside is pretty typical. They have a small outdoor seating area with umbrellas, which is nice when the weather is good. Unfortunately, the patio out there is very uneven and our table constantly rocked. I highly suspect all the tables out there do. Unfortunately, there were two young people with their laptops essentially dominating a table that could otherwise sit six people and there were two young ladies at our large table who had clearly finished their drinks but were hanging out playing a card game, cursing loudly as they played, and slapping the table causing it to rock even more - nearly spilling our drinks a few times. The latter is not really the shop's fault, unless you want to blame them for not policing their tables a bit better. Not a huge deal, but it certainly didn't add anything positive to our experience. I wouldn't warn anyone away, but at the same time, there are a lot of bakeries and coffee shops in the area. If we visit the area again, we'll give another place a try. Good luck to the owners. You might want to have your staff keep an eye on the outdoor tables, as seating is pretty limited inside and out. There are possibilities here!

Yelp
Was very excited to stop by Pegasus after lots of hype online, and I was not disappointed! The baristas were super friendly and welcomed us in. My latte was really well made and my partners macchiato was good as well. We both grabbed breakfast sandwiches and were a little disappointed with the size/bang-for-buck, but they were yummy regardless. Would recommend stopping in!
google avatar

Hayley H.

Yelp
Such a cute coffee shop not right on the water, and not too far from the ferry! Variety of syrups. I got an iced mocha with toasted marshmallow syrup.
google avatar

Laurel C.

Yelp
Delicious Pumpkin Pie latte . Fall is in the Air The pastries were fresh and comforting

Anne S.

Yelp
I grew up on Bainbridge in the 80's and the Pegasus continues to fly with success. I had a London Fog latte, which was delicious. My husband had an Americano - great coffee! We also ordered their "signature" avocado toast with ricotta, crumbled bacon, and fresh tomatoes. Delicious. I miss the small town coziness that the Pegasus used to offer (couch and chairs around the fireplace). But I fully understand the need to fit all of the customers due to its popularity.
google avatar

Maya H.

Yelp
Great coffee and loved my matcha. What I loved most is how nice the staff were. A woman dropped her drink and they offered to make her a new one no questions asked. She wasn't even trying to get one for free, they immediately offered! What a wonderful place to do that. Also, it's a peaceful and quiet place as far as ambiance goes. :)
google avatar

Chris B.

Yelp
I came to try the simple menu of breakfast sandwiches and wraps. After waiting in line to order, I was informed it would be a 30 minute wait for food. Coffee shops can be designed to sit and linger but the force slowness was bothersome since i finished my latte before my breakfast arrived. Everything tasted fine; but focusing on ordered started needs to be something they try.
google avatar

Eva C.

Yelp
This place was recommended as a must-try on Bainbridge Island since it's their original location! The vibe outside was cute, but I wasn't impressed with the drink. I got their Lavender Honey Matcha Latte, and it was pretty mid--not bad, but nothing special.
google avatar

Alena T.

Yelp
Came here mid to late afternoon and had the best eggnog latte of my life. Honestly, it was probably the best latte I've ever had, full stop. Staff are super friendly. My boyfriend got a peppermint mocha which was also so good but came out way cooler than my drink which was just a little weird. Love that they serve dude's donuts as my boyfriend has celiac. Ambiance is like the average coffee shop, cute and rustic. I loved the option to send a post card from their store.
google avatar

Vivien L.

Yelp
More like 3.5/5. Solid and standard coffee shop. We ordered the iced vanilla latte and iced hazelnut latte. They tasted exactly how we expected them to taste. Their drinks taste like Wood's Coffee or honestly almost any coffee shop's, so nothing special. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. The exterior is cute and unique from other coffee shops though! Very cozy and could use a trim!
google avatar

Kelsey G.

Yelp
We went somewhere else for breakfast before this, but were still intrigued by their Pegasus signature avocado toast, and I'm glad we followed through on that. The layer of goat cheese (between the bread and avocado spread) was goated. They were also quite liberal with the amount of avocado used in the spread, resulting in a fantastic bread-to-topping ratio. I'm also not normally a bacon person but I liked how the crumble was non-greasy and even a little sweet, and the tomatoes were super refreshing!! The coffee was solid, but I do wish there were more fun flavors in addition to their 1-2 season flavors. The cold brew also wasn't my favorite but wasn't bad. The place was busy but also large - there were also lots of seating options, both indoor and outdoor, so we didn't feel too rushed. The line got super long on our way out though (late morning on Memorial Day) so be prepared for that!!
google avatar

Ethan N.

Yelp
Aesthetics were nice especially fromt of the shop, inside not as much and a but cramped. Drinks arent good here but its a chte looking spot. Matcha was odd and clumpy, apple cider was ok but overpriced
google avatar

Ozzy O.

Yelp
This coffee shop is like out of a storybook, it is small it is cozy is inviting and it's small. I came on a Monday which there was no line but indoors they do have a lot of seating available along as outdoor seating and barstools, but even then it feels a little tight and crowded. I would explain this coffee shop as an experience once you order your coffee, you grab a postcard you sit down you enjoy your coffee and you write down a postcard for someone or yourself. This is mailed by a Pegasus coffee house. I think this is such a sweet you need experience specially being done on an island. It is very close. Almost a 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal once you arrive. I highly recommend checking out. It's nothing but a acquaint yet average coffee shop that just feels like you're in a fairytale
google avatar

Nausheen D.

Yelp
Got to try this spot on our recent visit to Bainbridge. Had heard great things about their coffee and it did not disappoint. We tried a coffee that had honey from their seasonal spring menu and it tasted delicious. We also had their chicken panini and avocado toast - those were both just about ok and I wish we had ordered and tried more coffee than trying out their food items since food took a bit longer, but overall a great experience.
google avatar

Abby S.

Yelp
really cute spot on Bainbridge Island. We got in around 10AM and the line wasn't bad & we were able to grab a table. Food service was longer but they did warn us while we ordered that it would take ~20 minutes. The shop got pretty crowded within 15 or so minutes of us getting there, so I recommend coming early to beat the crowd. Perfect cozy coffee shop for this fall and winter! I ordered their seasonal pumpkin cold foam cold brew and it was really good. Bacon egg and cheese sandwich was also delish. Will be back next time I'm visiting Bainbridge
google avatar

Liane W.

Yelp
We beat the ferry rush and treated ourselves to their Macrina cinnamon rolls and espresso. Ambiance was cozy and charming, I had to take pictures of the storefront because the morning light was casting such a beautiful halo! Place was bustling as soon as the ferry rush came through.

Yelp
First stop when we arrived to Bainbridge. It was pretty busy, line out the door. Cozy vibe. I got the iced honey bloom latte which was good. My daughter got the matcha bloom. We also got a chorizo wrap and cinnamon roll which were both really good.
