Wonderful nonprofit that is located just outside Yakima in the foothills of Naches. Located at the tumbleweed ranch, this charitable organization is doing some really incredible things.
Starting in 2003 I don't care which he, a group was interested in starting an organization that could provide therapeutic horseback riding two children and adults with Special needs or medical conditions. They've since move to a larger facility where they have seven horses and provide lots of different opportunities for those who are interested.
I came by with a community group and was blown away with what they're doing here. They have A fundraiser in January each year that includes a silent auction as well as a number of small fundraising events throughout the year.
This is the sort of spot that serves an often overlooked population and is incredibly valuable to the valley! Well worth checking out if you're interested in volunteering or if there's someone in your life that could benefit from such an organization.
