If you thought Central Park was big, you need to come to this park immediately. With a large track and field area that puts Soundview Park's to shame, easy accessibility from the 6 train, free parking, a bunch of pathways to walk along and enjoy the sights (especially now that it's Autumn), a few nice statues to look at, a big playground, a number of different sports courts, and a bunch of areas to sit down and have a barbecue with your family and friends. Great views of the water and city skyline as well, especially a bit closer to nighttime. You can't even see all of the park in one day unless you wanna challenge yourself. Not only that, I felt very safe during my walk through the park, and others that I've encountered have been quite friendly. 10/10 park and highly recommend it.

I love this park. I have one closer to me but it’s so congested with the influx of illegal immigrants in the area I can’t enjoy it anymore. But coming to this park is refreshing to walk around without crowds of people and volleyball nets everywhere. There are baseball fields, playgrounds, a newly renovated track and field with a outdoor workout area and plenty of walking paths. There is a good-sized parking lot at the rear of the park and it even has an ev charging area for electric or hybrid cars. My dogs love the openness of being able to freely walk, run and play and I genuinely enjoy coming here and walking along seeing other families enjoying the space too.

I went to visit the beach, it was a very calm day, I had years I didn’t visit, but today I loved everything of it, the kids park very clean and nice. It was very safe, a lot of life guards even though it was a slow day. We had so much fun.

MY FAVORITE LOCAL PARK. I almost got robbed though I was walking through a sketchy area cause I thought it was safe until I saw and heard a man with a ski mask walking closer behind me I felt a primal fear and I called my boyfriend thank God he answered and then a couple was heading my direction and the man disappeared to another area in the forest im 100% sure I almost got robbed but I love this park even though weird sketchy witch craft stuff happens here

The park has a playground with the biggest jungle gym/playset I have ever seen. Lots of places to stay in the shade, clean grounds, and a great place to spend the day. Two things that should be updated...1. the bathrooms. Right now the door is open and there's a stall right there almost at the door, 2. there are zero food vendors. The only thing there is an ice cream truck who charges $12 for a milk shake. Bring your own lunch.

Pelham Bay Park is a very underrated park! Definitely recommend taking the 6 up to the last stop to enjoy the views. Not an urban park, but feels like actual nature. Bring water and sunscreen.

Took my daughter to horseback riding. She’s five. The entire experience from beginning to end was the best. I am a single mother on a budget. Trying to find something I only can do with my daughter as she gets bigger. I would recommend this for anyone but especially for people in my unique position. My daughter’s father’s family is in her life a lot. The petty battles I go through with them because they have to do better than me alone is insane and just so sad. But nothing can be perfect. I have it a lot better than most in that regard. My credit will suffer that’s all…

Massive park with beach, nature center, historical sites, and hiking. Great birding too.
