The South African fajitas and the curried chicken was great. The food could be a little hotter in temperature. Overall very good for my first time and it being a new establishment. Casual laid back atmosphere good for families and kids but a bit too casual for a date.

First time here. Fantastic food. Unique selection. Each dish we had was full of flavor and beautiful crafted. A real artistry to the food. Had the cupcake for desert. Moist and just the right amount of sweetness. The cold brew is Mexican style. A bit sweet and cinnamon spice - not my style but if your into it. Great customer service and an interesting decour.

Must try for lunch, Fridays and weekends are bit busy for lunch, so plan ahead. Try the authentic flavored half chicken peri peri which comes with a side, truffle fries 🍟 or mushrooms 🍄 wont go wrong. They do have lot of platers(plates) like chicken curry 🍛 which is highly popular but the quantity is little low. Must try cupcakes here, especially pecan buttery cinnamon cupcake.

They have a rich menu of meats complimented by a variety of sauces. We tried the JoBurger, Crispy chicken sandwich, tenders, chicken curry and the quarter chicken with rice. Best Customer Service I've ever had! The manager happened to overhear my friend and I trying to decide what to try. He not only helped us decide. He ordered for us AND had some sample wings and taco's for us to try. The food was fantastic! I loved everything we ate. At the end, it had started raining very hard, Vince came over as I was walking out and told me to wait, he'd get me an umbrella. He ran outside, got soaked himself to get his personal umbrella and walked me to my car! 10 stars for food, customer service (the entire staff was great) ...

Great food, fun and unique atmosphere. I got the surf and turf plate and the beef was cooked wonderfully, very flavorful shrimp as well. The portion size is a touch small for the price, but enough to fill you up. Their french fries are delicious, have great seasoning and mine were cooked just right. Really unique South African cuisine, definitely recommend.

Weve been to the Peli Peli restaurant in Vintage Park so this was a first visit for us at Peli Peli Kitchen on I-10. The experience is a bit different. The ambiance more laid back. You order counter/cafe style, pay for it at the end and then find your seat. For a family of 4, we paid over $135 for our food so it's not economical at all. The selection is different than their sit down restaurant and the food was decent but didn't wow us. The oxtail was ok and cooked well. The pork belly was good but a little undercooked to our liking. There was a lot of flavor in the curry chicken. The fajitas on naan bread was different but a great take to a traditional taco. Overall the portion sizes and flavor didn't make up for the pricing. We probably won't be back but it was a great one time experience for our family. I also need to mention that the staff wasn't friendly or helpful at all. They seemed bothered, tired and pressed for time and rushed to make our plates. As we were eating there was a staff member mopping the floors, laughing out loud and mumbling to himself. It was hard to ignore because he was right by our table.

South African-American fusion in a cafeteria style setting. The casual rustic decor with Afrikaans graffiti gives a it a unique vibe. It like a BBQ joint but with a twist. The food is a great twist on classic BBQ. While the meats are the stars, the staff happily swap out items. The fried tofu is amazing. And naan tacos! Where have you been all my life!?
