Pelican Rocks Seafood Restaurant & Cafe

This restaurant gets quite busy so I suggest you make a reservation. Can dine in as well as takeaway. It was very busy n staff took awhile to take our order, however they were very friendly and helpful. I didn’t like that dogs could come into the covered seating area where guests were dining. I believe they should stay in the outside/takeaway area. Food was as lovely and fresh however it was quite a wait for it to come out to us. We had a double seafood basket. The fresh prawns and oysters were very tasty. It also had calamari, scollops and grilled fish. I liked the idea that if there was something you didn’t like eg. Oysters, they were happy to substitute with something else like fresh prawns. The basket came with chips and salad. I wouldve liked more salad, considering it was a shared plate. My friend had a veggie burger. It was huge, packed with lots of vegetables. They said it was very tasty.

100% hands down the best seafood I have ever eaten. my family love coming to pelican rocks for all of our day time functions. Staff are incredible very attentive and food always 100% perfection. I highly recommend pelican rocks to anyone looking for a great lunch and it’s well worth the drive if you are far away . Highly recommend the seafood tower it’s magic , call up and book a table with the tower you will not be disappointed. Had a great lunch at Pelican Rocks with friends during the week. Booked ahead for the seafood tower and also to secure a table. The place is very busy mid week even after the holidays had passed . Staff were friendly and managed the rush well. Food was very good and with a mix of hot and cold seafood . We ordered the lobster mornay on our tower which was delicious. One of our guests had barramundi and salad which was also nicely served. Would recommend to anyone but make sure you book . Will go again.

Pelicans is such a great spot. The location is perfect for a seafood spot. Menu selections allows for everyone, even the fussy "I don't like seafood" teenager. Seating area is not cramped with plenty of room. We ordered the Double Seafood Basket which came with a great selection of fresh and cooked seafood, chips and salad. Chips were awesome. A huge thank you to the staff who were friendly,polite and very helpful. Made our experience that much more enjoyable. We will be visiting again.

Good fish and chips, busy joint best to book if you plan to have lunch here we got takeaway which was still enjoyable

I’m sitting here now with my homeschooled daughter for an extra treat because she’s done so well this year. First off we are greeted with smiles and not the fake ones - it’s like visiting and old friend. I’ve ordered the seafood basket minus the oyster because they’re not my thing BUT they’re soooo accommodating and clearly I’m not the first to ask to replace it with something else. So my meal has already shown up and already made sure by the boss that we are all good. Bloody amazing food. Scallops are perfectly seasoned, fish oh so fresh including the prawns. Kids meals are generous and she gets free ice cream too. You can’t ask for more than this. Can’t wait to come back and do the lobster.

Iconic to Greenwell Point family run seafood Cafe. Staff are helpfull and super friendly. Meals are generous and large, presentation is always immaculate. Plenty of parking accross the road and prices are reasonable. You will need a booking during holidays are this place is polular and often booked full, alternative option is take away.

Took my Hubby here today for his birthday and I pre-ordered the seafood tower for two and it was so delicious and fresh. The staff were all lovely and very attentive. Will definitely be back.

We went here based on recommendations from locals in Nowra. We arrived without a reservation so we're lucky to get a table. The weather outside was wet, which made for a winter day but we were still warm in the outside eating area. A seafood basket was $24 and great value considering how fresh everything was. Hubby had the chicken burger which he said was very nice. And the iced coffees were yum-mo!!!!

Popped in here with my mum last week - awesome service, awesome food. I had crumbed calamari with chips and salad, mum had salt and pepper squid with chips and salad. Perfect calamari, tender, lightly crumbed, super tasty. And the chips were delicious, kind of hand cut style but almost the size of a fry. Great friendly service and really fast. The place was packed which was pretty impressive for midweek, Greenwell Point is not exactly a bustling seaside town but from all accounts they have the best seafood around and I agree. Would have loved to try dinner but the restaurant is closed for a couple of months.
