Out of all the Pelicana spots I’ve tried, the one at The Source OC is definitely a favorite. We got there around 5 PM on a weekend and didn’t have to wait at all, which was nice. Our food came out pretty quickly too. We ordered the combo set for three people- boneless half & half chicken, cheese balls, sweet potato fries, and tteokbokki. I honestly didn’t expect much from the tteokbokki, but it was way better than I thought! Just a heads up though, it might be a little too spicy for some people- proceed with caution! The music was a little on the louder side, but still good enough for a conversation. Overall, a great spot to hang out with friends or family!

Google
Great deal of chicken burger combo! With extra $1, we got one small fries and one sprite! The chicken was really thick, juice, and tasty. The fries were ok. The service was improvable. It wasn’t because of any individual staff, but seriously lack of staff. There was only one person to serve all of the customers and reset tables. The restaurant was 80% full and some take-outs. This is the problem of the restaurant owners and managers. We saw the staff running this table and that table without rest. But, he was in good and polite attitude and saying sorry for not providing immediate service. I wanted to give him personal high rating of service, but the restaurant itself doesn’t deserve good raring. The environment of the restaurant is fine. However, there were so many stuff stocking inside the restaurant that customers can see when seated. It is not very well organized and arranged environment. However, chicken was really good.

The food is good but customer service satisfaction is really bad. I ordered food from door dash. I ordered their kimchi fried rice “combo” the description stated it came with chicken, kimchi fried rice, chicken and cabbage. When I received my order, all I got was a huge bowl of kimchi fried rice with a bunch of lettuce. When I called the store to complain she accused me of ordering the wrong thing. I kept explaining to her no that is what the menu says on door dash she basically says there was nothing they can do about it and I would need to call door dash. Call doordash? That is YOUR menu that YOU need to fix with door dash! She didnt offer anything to fix the current issue. If anything I wouldve been happy with a coupon or voucher towards my next meal or something! But no she didnt care. So upsetting and I’m stuck with this huge bowl of rice that I didnt order.

Walked in and was informed they had a waitlist outside. It’s the QR code stand outside. We joined and it was about 30 minute wait. Sat outside with the lights flickering. It did get cold at night! We got the 18 pcs - signature chicken. The sauce tastes a bit different/sweeter than the other locations. Unfortunately we only got 13 pieces on our tray so we notified the staff immediately (on our 5th piece of chicken). 2 staffs came up to us and then the manager came out and took care of it very professionally. I did show her my phone for the photo. I appreciate that the manager believed us and didn’t accuse us. We got an extra order of 9 pcs. They need to add gloves their location! All the other locations have gloves.

I finally got a chance to eat here. Came for the Honkai Star Rail event, but was told they don't give out the giveaways with the event combo in the evenings - something about 20 per day. As we were starving and waited all day to come in (we had a friend come down from Marietta just for this), decided to eat and dine-in anyways. Food wise, we asked for extra crispy banban with the soy garlic and regular fried chicken. Boneless chicken feet was good, but disappointed because of the amount - not too many chicken feet pieces and an overload on garlic, jalapeno and onion. Service wise was okay. The ambience was nice but way too dark inside. I still enjoyed the strawberry lemonade though.

Sis told me their chicken is good so i ordered as a take out and waited outside. Took forever! Almost 1 hour! Why does it take this long for chickens? Would it be faster as a dine in? Either way, the wait time chase me away and won't bother again because by the time we got the chicken and anxious to go home, I'm not feeling the love for these chicken.

Google
Amazing place. Went there for a Honkai: Star Rail collaboration. We arrived at 6am just to be sure that we get all the rewards possible. The rewards were all ready to serve right away, so it was very fast. Leave a social media post for a pin as well!!! I loved the place and the food was amazing. Met new people and I am glad to experience it all. Probably not the best time to enjoy chicken casually, since there is collaboration.🥲 Thank you for the team being so organized and amazing😊👍

Google
Absolutely delicious! The chicken was juicy, the price was decent for a half chicken that fills you up. The only reason why I set the price to $20-30 is because we got sides but you can easily fill up on <$20. We also got the tteobokki. Very chewy and the sauce was flavorful. We also got the French fries which were a perfect balance of crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Service was great! All the workers were friendly and helpful. Once you get past the wait times, it’s smooth sailing from there. Sadly no appetizers. Oh well. I’m very satisfied with my experience and would definitely come back.

Yelp
This was my first visit to The Source in Buena Park, and my best friend brought my daughter and me to try Pelicana. I hadn't heard of this spot before, but as soon as I saw it, I knew it was another fried chicken joint! That said, even if it is another chicken place (most of the ones I've tried are in San Diego), this one stands out as the most delicious with the quickest service I've experienced! From the outside, it looks small, but inside, there's enough space to move around comfortably. Before diving into the food, I have to give a shoutout to their bathroom--it was super clean and well-stocked, which I always appreciate! Appetizers Peli Cheese Ball - My daughter absolutely loved this! It had a nice touch of sweetness. As a cheese lover, I think it would be even better with some kind of dip. Peli Shaken Fries - These were packed with flavor! The cheese powder seasoning gave them a bold, tasty kick. Main Entrees Crispy Fried Boneless with Ranch (for my daughter) - This was solid! I ended up dipping some in the signature sauce from our wings, and it was even better. I also sprinkled some of the cheese powder from the fries on it--great combo! Original Fried Wings with Signature Sauce - The real star of the meal! The signature sauce was absolutely to die for--a perfect balance of sweetness with just the right amount of kick. Drinks Grape Sparkling Ade - A refreshing and perfect pairing with our meal! Overall The food, portion sizes, and service were all excellent. I even had leftovers, and my husband can't wait to try this place next time. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
The chicken here is so delicious, i've been here twice and was not disappointed both times. Service could be improved. I've had the spicy fried chicken, original crispy chicken, corn cheese, and the chicken gangjung. I've also tried getting both the wings and the half chicken. All of the food so far was really good but the star of the show has got to be the chicken gangjung. It has crispy rice cakes and the flavor of the sauce was just perfect. It came out really hot and crispy. The service was just alright. I don't know why they have a button on the ipad to call the server if they don't even come and you have to go to the front or wave them down to get their attention. It is usually pretty crowded here despite having a good amount of seating inside but understandable because the chicken is really good. I do recommend this spot to anyone craving korean fried chicken and I would also bring my friends and family here.

Reeny W.

Yelp
Whoever was that register with the lots and make up on. She was really rude. I was going to order to go. She told me go to kiosco and I was there first and customer came later than me. She helped him out first. I will never return this place. It doesn't matter how much this place is have a good chicken!!

Christine C.

Yelp
Food is good but be prepared to be treated like trash when you get your food to go. If you get your food to go you can not eat at the patio outside because it is dine in only! The server inside told us that we can eat at the food court but once we sat down to eat the food court employee told us we can't. So we went downstairs again to eat at the patio and the server from pelicana told us we can't eat there, wish she was clear on telling me before she sent us upstairs!

Clinton C.

Yelp
Located inside a large Korean centric shopping plaza with free parking. Got the half signature and half original. Both were good but too many drumsticks for my liking. Should've asked for wings only. Signature wasn't spicy at all, more tangy. Order thru a tablet so not much service interface. Ambiance is not too loud and clean.

Ellen Z.

Yelp
Second time at this Pelicana location and the chicken wings were as good as I remember. Ordered from a kiosk on the table which was actually a simple process and helpful so you can browse the options and pictures of the menu. My favorite was the soy. Salty with a slight hint of heat. The garlic was a bit too strong for my taste but if you LOVE garlic, this is for you. The mozzarella sticks had a nice cheese pull. Can't forget the crunchy radish cubes that come with! Service was good and attentive. They were quick to replenish our drinks and napkins. There were lively KPop music videos playing which provided a great ambiance.

Nan L.

Yelp
i think of all the korean fried chicken we've had recently (and we have had _a lot_ of korean fried chicken recently), this one has consistently been the best to be specific, their honey soy wings + drums are just so magically crispy and sweet, there's no way to stop eating them when you start; i would recommend that over the half/whole chicken, which is really just as good but just the tiniest bit more work which makes it ultimately more fun than easy and delicious in my eyes even the sweet potato fries they make are worth an order. never too busy when we're there, which admittedly, is lunch time and not dinner so i can't say for sure if it's always easy to just walk up and sit down at night anyways, can't recommend this place enough; thank you so much for all the incredible chicken. we'll be back again very soon i'm sure

GG L.

Yelp
I can't believe they put hot, steaming Ddukbokki in a grocery plastic bag! Even a five-year-old knows it's not safe to put hot food in a grocery plastic bag. I was speechless when I saw that and regretted not saying anything. Owner, please! A food-safe grade plastic food container won't cost you more than 10 cents (one order of Ddukbokki is $16!) If you need some good prices on food containers, let me know--I work in a packaging company! Chicken is good and tasty but I won't give that credit since they don't know how to handle food safely!

Daniella P.

Yelp
I love coming to eat here when I visit The Source. It is always so lively in here and the music is always blasting. The chicken and the Tteokbokki is delicious. I must admit that it takes forever for the food to come out. It is worth the wait, but I would recommend not to come completely starving as the wait will be long. Overall, this is definitely a go to spot when you're shopping here!

Jessica K.

Yelp
Been to this place several times and to be honest... service has always been mediocre. - Chicken is good and crispy. - Price is a bit more expensive, you pay $2 for sauce on the side... like.. why?... - small radish cups.. why not just give me a bunch?! - loud ambiance and if it's not busy you can't sit outside - Restrooms are never really that clean which is always... a minus star for me. Overall, if I want some good chicken quickly, near by... and in a place where I can get boba afterwards that is near by while charging my car. Then I come here.. otherwise I would go somewhere else.

Minelie A.

Yelp
The people working at this place were kind, but the crunchy chicken we ordered was a letdown, especially the bone-in option. It was mostly bone with very little meat, far from what you'd expect from wings or thighs. Toward the end, they brought us one thigh, likely after realizing we were just eating bones. This won't be my go-to chicken spot, and I'd recommend opting for boneless if you decide to give it a try, unless you're okay with dealing with mostly bones. We had a hard time to find it. Walk in through Hotel Hilton and exit with the other door which is look-like an emergency door!

Jessie Z.

Yelp
First time trying this place, but its well known and a popular the source eat! On the first floor and accommodating for big parties, you get your food decently fast and it's a good place for drinks ( the beer was good) and more affordable if you split with a large group because it can be filling. Soju is aaround $14/bottle and comes chilled. Chicken (whole) and wings are the same price so ofc go for wings. The amount was decent considering we ordered a lot of sides. You can only get half sauce and half plain, but they have side sauces ( in plastic pockets) that are free. I would recommend the plain + dipping in the side packet sauces vs the garlic as the garlic sauce had a sharp taste. I preferred the sides over the chicken! The corn cheese was really good, not too salty or oily with a slight crunchy sweetness. Inside was still tender. Fries were a decent munch, slightly sweet. Onion rings okay with a marinara sauce. The cheese balls were a nice surprise! I always saw it on korean shows, but didn't expect the outside to be thicker/breading with a thick crunch/chew ( more bread ball). However, the black chocolate ones had a nice crackly crust and it wasn't too sweet. The brown ( i thought caramel) had a bit of a hazelnut taste. Service was fast in the beginning when ordering and then left alone. Midway I went up to the counter to ask to fill the water pitcher rather than waving them down, but it was never done. Once we paid, they cleaned up super fast. However I understand as a big party. Overall, good for groups, rec plain chicken and sides!

Yelp
Crispy and flavorful chicken. We did the glazed honey soy and garlic. Wasn't too crowded when we stopped by for lunch and service was quick.

Yelp
My first experience with Pelicana Chicken was in NYC around their ktown area, so it felt fitting that my first SoCal Pelicana meal was in the OC area that's like ktown. Food is a solid 3.5 stars and the service is 4 stars, so giving them a rounded up 4 star rating. After watching a movie at CGV Cinemas on the third floor, we ventured downstairs for lunch. Decent amount of space inside for small and large parties. Our group of three split an order of the banban wings (we got original crispy and garlic sauce - $31) and the peli cheese balls (comes with 5 pieces - $9). Just the right amount of food for us, with a couple of wings left over. Our order of the wings also came with two containers of white radish. Be warned that the garlic sauced wings are heavy on the sauce and garlic, so we actually finished and preferred more of the original crispy wings over the sauced ones. If you have to choose, go with just the crispy wings and the cheese balls. Service was great: our server refilled our waters and even without us asking for it, knew we needed a to go box for the leftover wings. Great place to go for your Korean fried chicken fix!

Megan L.

Yelp
Service was amazing and attentive. + Ban Ban Crispy Fried Chicken ($30; soy garlic and original + $1.50 signature sauce on side): 18 total pieces. Smaller than bonchon, but good value. Freshly fried (7.6/10)

Chloe T.

Yelp
Hot, flavorful, and fresh! What more could you ask for when eating Korean fried chicken. The honey soy crispy fried wings were delicious. We also had the spicy wings which had a kick to it. Had my wings with rice and a side of fries. Service was great & restaurant was nice and clean.

Priscilla R.

Yelp
Location is at the Source. Trendy Korean mall on second floor. Walked right before a mad rush . Got seated right away. You order on a tablet at the table. Great news , there is a ring button on the tablet to call for a server. The girl that helped us was helpful. We ordered a full order of smoke hot. was going to order a 1/2 . But, waitress recommended we get a full. We barely put a dent in it. But it was good! We also DDukBokki. Both were extremely good!

Kat S.

Yelp
Since returning from Korea, I have wanted fried chicken like they have over there. This place comes pretty close. It has a great crunch and sauces Corn cheese, fries, and cabbage slaw all pair nicely. The ambiance is chill; it is a great place to grab some Wings and drinks. Service is prompt

Ryan G.

Yelp
Came here after a late night movie with a couple friends, which is nice since they're open pretty late. Got some spicy cheese tteokbokki, half fried chicken, and chicken wings. The honey soy sauce is so good, but honestly so is everything else. The food can take a while to come out since it's made fresh, but it's definitely worth the wait. It's not too loud inside so you can hold conversations but lively enough that you can kick back. Will come again soon for the next late night hangout.

Cat N.

Yelp
This Pelicana Chicken location is located on the 1st floor of The Source. They have a simple menu but offer delicious perfectly fried chicken. I came to pick some up for my family. I got their $31 of Crispy Banban Chicken which was half with sauce of choice and half with no sauce. We went with their Signature sauce which was a sweet tasting sauce which was enjoyable. I think my order was about 18 pieces. Some pieces were very small and some were of a good size. The flavor was really good and the meat was very tender and moist. Everyone enjoyed them. An order came with some pickled radish. The restaurant was pretty large. For my takeout order I just ordered through their kiosk that was right by the door. It took about 15 minutes for my order to be done.

Andy V.

Yelp
To Go Experience 1. The bowl was delicious, and the chicken had a good level of heat! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes with TVs playing on the wall! 3. There are indoor and outdoor seatings! 4. The staff were friendly, and it took about 15 mins for my order to be ready! 5. There is a free parking garage nearby! Note: There is a self-service kiosk for to go orders! Photo: CUPBAP (SMOKY HOT)

Yelp
Overall: 4.5 stars for the food, services and atmosphere. This is a great place to get to-go or have a casual meal! Quality of the food is great and prices are reasonable. The Service: The store has a waitlist system which you can enter when you get there - there's a QR Code that you scan. I came on a Saturday evening and the wait was about 40 minutes long for a party of 4. Keep that in mind if you're hungry. Service was good, the waitress did check up on us and refilled our waters constantly which was really nice. They did make a mistake on one of our orders and it took a long time to get our replacement order. They were nice and put it in a to-go box for us. The Food: Crispy Half Chicken with Garlic - Chicken was very crispy and fresh. It did not taste of drenched oil which I appreciated. The garlic sauce was coated nicely and if you enjoy a garlicky flavor, then this would be for you. I would have to say this sauce does make the chicken more soggy though because of how thick it is. Crispy Half Chicken with Soy - The soy version is a lot crispier than the garlic because the sauce is a bit thinner in consistency so it doesn't make the chicken as soggy Crispy Boneless with Smokey Hot - If you like spicy with a heat that slowly builds, then Crispy Boneless with Garlic - Same as the Crispy Half Chicken, but boneless! It's perfect if you don't enjoy eating around the bones in chicken. I would have to say that boneless wings are a bit drier compared to the one with the bones. Tteokbokki - Rice cakes were perfectly cooked with a nice bite to them. The sauce was not too spicy and had a hint of sweetness which I enjoyed. Price: Reasonably priced for Korean Fried Chicken. We paid about $120 for 4 people, however we had SO much extra food to bring home. The Atmosphere: Very busy restaurant with a casual atmosphere Parking: Free parking lot at the Source. Can get crowded but plenty of parking.

Kayle P.

Yelp
I've been here a handful of times and I've never been disappointed with the quality of their chicken! I only really do come for the chicken, so I can't say much about their sides, but I've heard is decently good. But as a chain, I really do see the consistency in all of their locations! The chicken sizes are pretty large and they give all different parts of the chicken. What makes me come back all the time is the crispiness of the chicken. It's best eaten in the restaurant when it's made fresh out of the kitchen! We got half cheese and half original sauce and my favorite was the cheese! It had a sweet powder cheese that paired well with the crunchy and juicy chicken wing! My friend liked the other flavor because it had a slight spicy flavor! Both of the flavors have a sweet kick to it so if you're not into sweet savory foods, these two flavors might not be your thing. I've also tried the honey soy flavor which I also liked. Service is very attentive and refilled waters when needed! The restaurants have a dark ambiance giving a pub like experience and they also have tvs to watch games or shows! They also play kpop music to enjoy your food to!

Emily T.

Yelp
Immediately when I walked in the server was so sweet, kind, and attentive! Like I was genuinely so surprised with how good the service was. I came in for the solo leveling box and even though the box was only for to-go orders, he still gave it to me and let me eat inside. He also offered me a free salad and asked if I wanted refills. Also without me asking he gave me a new packet of sauce when I was packing up in addition to bringing napkins and a bag. He also gave me an extra solo leveling card at the end. Such a happy experience :)

Nick P.

Yelp
Been wanting to try Pelicana Chicken for some time, so hubby and I decided to pick up a box since we were hanging out at The Source. We ordered over the phone for a 9 wing box. We opted for the soy garlic flavor. We arrived about 20 minutes after we made our order. Our order came out piping hot. You can feel the heat emitting from the plastic bag. We ended up enjoying our wings in the car. The flavor was good. Hubby enjoyed it more than me. I felt it was a bit on the sweeter side, but still good. The breading isn't my favorite as it fell apart easily making the experience messier than I had hoped. The chicken was extra juicy! Overall good chicken. A bit pricey but fun to enjoy as a snack every so often.

Meuy S.

Yelp
Visited Pelicana Chicken in Brea, and it was a fantastic experience! We to meet friend and watch the dodgers game. They have a few TVs so going there for game night great. I ordered the 18-piece Crispy Fried Wings, split between half naked and half spicy hot, along with fries and cheese corn. The chicken was perfectly crispy and full of flavor--both the plain and spicy wings were delicious. The spicy hot flavor brought a nice kick without being overwhelming. The cheese corn was creamy and indulgent, and the fries were crisp and golden, making for a great meal overall. Service was friendly and quick, with the staff making sure we had everything we needed. The ambiance is casual and inviting, ideal for a relaxed meal with friends. Plus, there's free parking in the garage, which is super convenient. Highly recommend for anyone craving crispy, flavorful wings in Brea!

Liliana T.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I ate here for lunch today. The ban ban chicken is SO good. It literally falls off the bone. On the other hand, the peli shaken fries had a little too much cheese powder. We had to shake the fry before eating it because it was so over powering. Service was good enough. Our food came out really fast! It is a nice ambiance and not crazy busy for noon on a Sunday. I would definitely recommend!

Jordan Nguyen L.

Yelp
The food here is always delicious. My friend and I got BanBan half original chicken with no sauce, half honey soy, and it was so delicious. The chicken comes out relatively quickly and hot, and the portions are great for the price. Also not pictured, the fries are to die for. The last time I went, the staff was super attentive even though it was busy. They refilled water, sides, and napkins promptly before we even asked! This is one of my favorite Korean fried chicken places and one of my favorite restaurants in The Source.

Amelia M.

Yelp
I came here on last June.. Must say..3 stars for the service. I came here since my friend was eating here, but I did order the snack. Maybe he's too tired for handling during the heat of summer, so he's just kinda didn't care when we came there. I did order only the cheese stick and a cola, since we ate already from home. The cheese stick is good, 4stars for this, the kids loved this so no worries, and it's tummy friendly for the cheese! I know it's hot..I felt it too, but ain't it good to smile and be "kind" a bit though the customer just buy sides and not main food on the menu. Hope the stars shines best for your service, as bright as your stars for the food in the future!

Tina L.

Yelp
Top 3 fried chicken experiences I've had. The chicken was juicy and sooo crispy! The batter was also very light and airy. The sauce was delicious, it was not overbearing and did not taste processed, it was just perfect. I was also shocked by how much food you get. The prices are very reasonable. It was also a nice touch that pickled radish came with my order. Also the box was designed in a way to prevent the chicken from losing its crispiness. There's nothing that I would have changed about the fried chicken. It was a 12/10 experience. I am definitely a returning customer now.

Lucky P.

Yelp
If you crave for chicken and beer this is your Place in BP. Nice and spicy chicken with nice flavor. Kirin beer. Good service and ambiance. We got garlic and signature sauce. We need more yoga servers

Gabriel B.

Yelp
Came on a weeknight around 7:30, and was seated immediately. Interior was cleaned and plenty of space even if there were many tables. The crispy boneless chicken was really good, and the texture of the chicken was more like dark meat. The cheese balls were soft and chewy - the outer shell felt like mochi.

Tina H.

Yelp
The servers were ehh. He didnt check on us. Its like we were there and we were bothering him because we wanted to eat. And wings were big but not very crunchy. It all tasted really good though. I only had 3 wings since I had some onion rings and fries. If the server/service was better I would have given more stars.

Ann Q.

Yelp
This review is based on online order pick up. Food is great as always. Service is good too however I think they need more than 2ppl handling front of house especially when it gets busy. They don't announce when to go orders are ready for pick up, out gets placed onto a table in front of the cashier. You have to go in and check and if your order isn't done yet, they default respond with "it'll be another 5-10mins". The patio area is closed off with chairs. Meant for dine in only which is fine but there should be a comfortable waiting area for to go orders too otherwise we're all just gathered by the front entrance making it uncomfortable for other patrons to enter or exit. Got the signature crispy wings today. $1 extra for sauce? Fine whatever. There were no descriptions on what the signature sauce is but it tastes like a rich buttery gochujang. Not spicy. Good but very rich.

Harrison T.

Yelp
Pelicana might be one of the best Korean fried chicken chains from Korea. We ended up getting apps along with the chili, soy, and garlic flavors for wings. Our server was super attentive. Pelicana has Pocha vibes; a great place to have fried chicken and a couple Terra's.

Gary B.

Yelp
This restaurant is located on the first floor...if the sculpture isn't on the same floor as where you are...you need to go down a floor or two. I parked on the 3rd floor and google maps was totally useless as well as the mall maps because Im not able to read Korean which is a serious problem in this mall. Surprisingly, the restaurant isn't in the "food court" but rather in a space all its own (on the first floor). There were a lot of people having lunch when I walked in...was happy to get a table inside. I harp on service at other Pelicana locations and that won't be happening here! This location had a couple of people on the floor and as a result...was greeted, shown to a table, my order was taken and I got my salad at my table right away (seemingly). The rest of my order... the super crispy half chicken tossed in garlic sauce( my favorite) didn't take long to get to my table as well. I want to stress that the service here was attentive and fast as a result I can safely say the non-food part of my experience is the best I've ever experienced at a Pelicana. ps: crispy chicken tossed in garlic sauce was as good as I've ever had ! So so good!

Yelp
Many of their current business is from the Honkai Star Rail collab & it's unfortunate that they don't understand how valuable customer service is to garnering repeat customers. Basically, if you're here for the collab, you're made to feel like a 2nd class citizen (I don't even know what that means, but I think it gets the point across). It's considered "take-out" and this type of order is not allowed to eat in their indoor dining area--even when it's empty. (?) Doesn't make much sense to me. Also, I asked about sauces, and the cashier said, "you have to pay extra for them." I wouldn't have minded doing so, but the tone in which she said it put me off and I just left that alone. Fine. We're here JUST for the collab. The food itself is actually right up my palate. The fried chicken wings are pretty good and I liked it. The fries, delicious. The small packaged pickled radish, acceptable. What will deter me from returning is the memory of the interactions with their staff...not friendly, being told we couldn't eat in the dining area, just the overall unpleasant vibe of their customer service. What might make me return is another collab. Ironic, I know. LOL! :-D

Yelp
It's good korean fried chicken! Small menu but they have enough variety where everyone will find something they'll like.

Yelp
Always on par with their fried and/or yangnyum chicken. Feels like im in Korea eating inside the restaurant.

Yelp
Pelicana Chicken was a great spot to try out some korean fried chicken. It was my first time dropping by and the chicken was really good! I also got the tteokbokki and that was fire haha. Definitely recommend for anyone who hadn't tried it. Service was also really quick!

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of Pelicana for Korean fried chicken! During my last visit, my husband and I ordered the half crispy fried boneless chicken with the smoky hot sauce and ddukbokki and both were SO good! Even though the chicken was boneless, it still managed to be juicy and tender on the inside but crispy on the outside. They don't mess around with their spice here because I have a pretty high spice tolerance but both the chicken and the ddukbokki were pretty spicy for me even though it only had one fire on the menu. Overall, I would highly recommend the food here and am interested in trying other flavors. One thing to keep in mind is that there always seems to be a decent wait here, so be prepared for that! The store itself is upbeat and it would be a great casual spot to catch up with a group of people. The service here is pretty good and the waiters would come often to make sure our waters were filled. The store is located at The Source so there is a parking garage with plenty of spots.

Yelp
I'm always skeptical of these expensive wing places. Usually there are expensive for ok wings. This was not the case. Low key best wings I've ever had. At least best Korean wings. The wings came out fresh. Super good crisp too it. The chicken tasted pure. I definitely would recommend. The fish cakes tastes good too. Taste like a red enchilada sauce but better. Fries were ok, a step above in n out. No or little salt on them. These cats are wild. Literally serve a plate of cabbage with mayo . Overall food was really good. Worth the price. Service was good. Quickly attended and polite. The environment seems standard location. In a mall.

Yelp
Food: 5/5 stars Service and ambiance: 1/5 stars Overall: 3/5 stars Pelicana fried chicken never misses. Every Pelicana location I've been to has been pretty consistent with the quality of chicken that I appreciate about the franchise. Chicken was crispy yet tender, and the sauces are flavorful as always. The service was disappointing. We came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was not very busy, so my girlfriends and I got seated right away. Besides getting our food, not once did anyone check on our table if we needed anything. Close to the end of our meal, we were so thirsty and badly needed water and napkins. We tried using the "call staff" button twice. We would also try to raise our hand to get staff's attention, but our server would walk and look in every part of the establishment except where we were seated. We had to ask the busser to get our server to come to our table. When he finally came, he hastingly walked over without addressing us or looking at us. Despite this, we tried our hardest to be polite and courteous. As someone who has worked in the food service industry before I hate to be the overly critical customer, and I try to give others the benefit of the doubt. I still expect the bare minimum of customer service, though, and this location did not deliver. I truly hope that this is something management can address (maybe in relation to diversity and inclusivity in customer service? iykyk), because otherwise I'm an avid Pelicana lover.

Yelp
I heard this place is a famous chicken chain in South Korea, and I was very excited try it. I got the 9 crispy fried boneless pieces of honey garlic, 9 crispy fried boneless pieces of cheese flavor, and 9 cheese flavor crispy fried wings. I was told by the store that the boneless pieces are made of thigh meat, but it's actually white meat instead. Both of the boneless orders didn't stay crispy very long, they got soggy very quickly. The cheese flavor wings stayed crispy longer, and my family preferred it more to the others, so we finished it all. Disappointingly we didn't want to eat any more of the boneless, so I'm going to save it for the next day and refried it the air frier to see if I can make it crispy again. The radishes that it comes with are really good, and the $2 hot sauce we got is not bad, similar to other Korean fried chicken places. It also came with mozzarella cheese balls that covered with fried mochi. I think my expectation was too high after eating at many holes in the wall Korean fried chicken places, but boneless white meat are terrible. I would never knowingly ordered it anywhere. I wish they seasoned it or brine it before frying it.

Yelp
This is my go to spot for KFC (Korean Fried Chicken). The staff is always friendly and provide good service. My favorite here is the cheese flavored crispy chicken. Pelicana is a famous chicken restaurant from Korea and this is their OG location in Orange County.

Yelp
I have given this place two tries. At this point, this review is to burn it into my soul to never come back - not that I need the reminder but hopefully it will prevent others from making the same mistake as me. I came here twice in 2023, March 19th and November 21st. Easily located at the first floor at the Source. The store has ample indoor seating. The pictures on the menu looked juicy and fairly price. We ordered one order of boneless and one boned the first time and the half and half the second time. Both times, I was left with a disappointed experience. I just don't know what it is about it. Maybe it's too fried? Maybe the meaty portion of the chicken is lacking and just overly battered and fried to compensate. The garlic soy sauce was just not tasty and too salty. Both times, we did not finish the whole meal, not because we were full but it was just not enjoyable. The only thing is that the sizing for the price is decent, otherwise this would be one of my only 1 star review. I had left over for one more meal both times (after eating as a group of two) while only paying under $40 in total.

Yelp
Love the available flavor options. The free lettuce salad is perfect as a palette cleanser. The chicken gangjung which I came for was so delicious and flavorful. The rice cake was perfectly chewy. The garlic chicken is very garlic-y and the chicken was crispy and meaty. The cheese ball was sweet and cheese-y. The service was slow even though there was only 2 tables. Nonetheless left satisfied and full.

Yelp
Parking: free parking in the parking structure. No need to validate or anything. Service: we went on a Wednesday night and there wasn't much of a crowd. We got a seat right away. They tended to us the right amount. Do wish they give wet wipes or more napkins though. Food: get the shaken fries. They were nicely flavored/season. The signature sauce is great and would recommend if unsure what chicken sauce to get. The garlic is also good but is a bit more sticky. Would come back whenever in the area!

Yelp
Hot and fresh Korean Fried Chicken! 3/5 | Crispy Ban Ban Chicken | $31 Food: The chicken was hot and fresh, which gave it great flavor. It seemed like it was a little overcooked, but nothing too crazy. Pelicana is a popular chain in Korea, so I was excited to find it here in America as well. Service: The staff were friendly and quick with the food. It does take a while to cook the chicken, just fyi Ambiance: Tables in the main area along with booths as well. It's inside the Source, so definitely a lot of things to do around here.
