Penati al Baretto

After spending an evening at a total of 525 eur, we found the culinary experience to be very disappointing. The dishes were not very elaborate, they repeated the same sauce and flavor on several of them. For this price range it was regrettably not worth it. However the service and atmosphere was very nice. But if you’re focus is on the food, look elsewhere.

Hi!! I wanted to express how much my friend and I enjoyed dinner at Penati last night. First of all, we arrived a little later than our appointment said and they welcomed us without any issues at all. Our server Marouk was so charming with us and explained to detail everything about the Italian cuisine. Excellent service. He exceeded. We are going to recommend your restaurant, the ambiance was so welcoming and luxurious. We love every minute there. Thank you!!!

Probably the best Italian food I've had in Paris. Superb Vitello tonato, fresh tagliatelle with beef ragu. The best olives , cheese and olive oil I've ever tasted. And a view of the dome of Les Invalides. For those looking for a chic and high-end Italian meal in Paris, look no further.

This place is awful. We came here because it was a Michelin star restaurant, but please save your money and go somewhere else. The staff was very nice but the food was just terrible especially for a Michelin star restaurant. We had the beef steak and the linguine with clams. They only give you 5 pieces (which is normal for a Michelin star restaurant) but the quality of the steak was horrible and it was so bland. You can find better quality meat literally at McDonald’s but I don’t want to offend McDonald’s like that. The linguine with clams were so salty and when we told the manager she said the clams are salty itself. She acted like we never had linguine with clams before and said it was supposed to be salty like that. My 16 year old daughter can make better linguine with clams than this place. Please save your money and go somewhere else!! It’s not worth the price!!

I was in Paris for 6 days and the food, hospitality, and atmosphere were so wonderful that my friends and I enjoyed Penati 3 times! The daily specials were fresh and delicious. And all of the staff was kind and provided everything we asked. When I return to Paris will definitely go back. Don’t miss it!

Enjoyed dinner with my family here. The dining space is beautiful and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was top tier– highly recommend the truffle cannoli and the squid.

Absolutely loved our dinner here! Our first time visiting the restaurant recommended by our hotel and now it's our favorite! A must-do next time we're in Paris. Excellent food, superb service, unique wine selection and outstanding ambiance! I would highly recommend Penati al Baretto for a lovely night out that's elegant, but not stuffy and pretentious! xxoo
