We have been coming here from Washington DC for the past 15 years. We were very disappointed from our last visit. We bought many cooked food, some for us and many for other people. A couple of the dishes were spoiled a day later. Not sure why because we placed the food in the cooler and the weather outside was cold. DO NOT buy their cooked food if you don’t consume it on the spot. And plus their cooked food aren’t as tasty as they used to be. Indo snacks and other dried goods are ok to buy.

Looking to satisfy your Indonesian food cravings in Philadelphia? Look no further than Cafe Pendawa (or Pendawa Enterprises Inc on Google Maps). While the store itself is on the smaller side, with aisles that can only accommodate one person at a time, don't let that fool you. Cafe Pendawa boasts a fantastic selection of Indonesian groceries and ready-to-eat meals, making it a convenient one-stop shop for all your Indonesian culinary needs. There are a couple of key things to keep in mind before heading to Cafe Pendawa. First, it's cash-only, so be sure to have cash on hand or have Venmo set up for payment. Second, they are don't provide free plastic bags. Bring your own reusable shopping bag to avoid any extra charges. Despite the small size and cash-only policy, Cafe Pendawa offers a compelling reason to visit. The prices are reasonable, especially compared to what you'd pay at an Indonesian restaurant. Plus, the convenience of having ready-to-eat options available is a big plus, particularly for those short on time or lacking the ingredients to cook a full meal. If you're in the Philadelphia area and looking for a great selection of Indonesian groceries, Cafe Pendawa is a fantastic option. Just be prepared for the limited space, bring cash or your phone for payment, and consider grabbing a reusable shopping bag beforehand.

Indonesian store. Small lil place at the corner. Lots of varieties. Good food, good snack, just need to be pre-heated. Cash only or transfer (zelle).

Great little Indonesian grocery store/ mini market that sells Indonesian food and snacks! So happy to see some food items here that I had in my childhood! Cash or venmo only! The only minus is that their fried food/fritters options vary alot from day to day. One day you get great options another day not. But overall you can find great Indonesian food options here: tempe, gorengan (bakwan), klepon/onde-onde, kue-kue, desserts, nasi bungkus and bumbu/ seasonings

This place is 600 square feet of food paradise. The wealth of absolutely slammin’ homemade Indonesian treats and meals and ingredients here is unlike anything else I’ve seen in all of Philadelphia, including other bodegas I myself have raved about on this Google account. New favorite bodega in town, not even close.

If you love Indonesian food or getting Indonesian ingredient then you may want to stop to this store. Basically you can find almost everything that you get in Indonesia at this store. For fresh Indonesian cooked food, you better come after 3.30pm (weekdays) or after 10am (weekends)

Nice Indonesian grocery store in Philadelphia! While the place is small, it has a lot of imported food items from Indonesia and some freshly made food as well, like snacks and meals (mixed rice/nasi bungkus, rendang, sambal, kue, etc.). Definitely come during the weekend as they have way more stuff than during the weekdays. Parking is tricky (as is the case in Philly everywhere), so better take the public transit here.
