Tasty food, and wonderful service. I was slow picking up my order and actually arrived a few minutes past closing. They made me a fresh order of dumplings to make sure I'd enjoy it - even though the delay was my fault, not theirs! I really enjoyed the spicy sauce on the dumplings, which is not at all overpowering on heat (ok, I can enjoy more heat) - but it does pack a good flavor that will appeal to people who enjoy spice flavor without going crazy. Thanks for top level service today!

Pizza was superb, cake had great flavor, but you can tell it’s old (two day old cake that sat out uncovered kind of thing). I would order again definitely. I used uber eats. Just request fresh cake and I’m sure it would be amazing.

Fantastic addition to North Old Town! Stopped by to try my first-ever cauliflower crust pizza—which I heard this place offered along with their regular crusts—and it was so delicious, I couldn't believe it wasn't traditional crust! Very crispy crust loaded with fresh and flavorful toppings and in a generous size—a whole pizza is perfect for two people to share. Not a bad price either. While there I picked up some dumplings for my family, asked for a variety of the flavors offered and YUM they are good. Loved the ginger dipping sauce too. Super nice staff, cute and clean space, very fun place to grab a bite.

I just went today for the first time. The staff was extremely helpful, explaining all the options, and maintaining a friendly smile. I got the Dumplings and I honestly wish I would have bought more!! Very delicious dumplings at a great price. I will be going back to try the pizza!! :D Highly recommend!

I had my second meal there today and it was just as good as the first one. The concept of this place is fantastic I love how there are multiple types of food in one location. So far I have had the Pizza, Dumplings and a Killer Brownie and all have been Fantastic! Do not go here on a full stomach and saver every bite. Pendleton Carryout is truly a new gem in Alexandria and well worth a stop.

The food is hit or miss. When it hits, you're getting some of the best food in Old Town. The dumplings (and the amazing sauces) and bao are killer, and the sweets/cakes are all top notch. The misses though are disappointing. A pizza I ordered recently didn't bake right - they put so much cheese on that by the time the crust is done, the cheese at the bottom of the pile is still shredded as opposed to melted. Another time the burger had a super soggy bun by the time I got home, and the texture of the meat made me think it could've been frozen. Who knows if it was, but that was my take. I love the branding and love when they're having a good night in the kitchen, but I'll think twice before ordering the pizza or burger again.

Honestly was absolutely the most amazing pizza I have ever tasted and I'm from N.Y.! Killa cakes confetti confection was KILLA! The only thing not to try is the faking bacon dumplings... I'm sorry guys but they taste like dog food and I just can't untaste that. I still gave five stars because everything about this place is with it. Husband and kids approved by all the moans of pure enjoyment coming from the back of the car.

So excited to have this innovative concept in our own backyard! At it's core, Pendleton Carryout is a food incubator that helps local chefs/entrepreneurs bring a new product to market. Their first client is Laoban who have a small selection of Chinese-style dumplings on offer in the shop. We had a sampling of them all and while good, they weren't great but perhaps this has to do with the carryout concept. Once we got them home, they were pretty cold which isn't the best look for a dumpling. However, Sliced, Pendleton's permanent pizza shop, is a great addition to the Old Town pizza scene. Sauce is on point, crust is too plus a solid choice of creative toppings. The pizzas are small, I'd say a little over personal pie size, so make sure you order accordingly and don't forget to throw in a meat pie, they kinda steal the show. Oh, and if you are getting this delivered keep in mind that the third party app may not have the "specials" listed so call them to get the lowdown. Looking forward to seeing what concept rolls through next!
