WOW what a phenomenal experience my first visit to the Penfold Theater! Incredibly well organized ticketing process, loved grabbing snacks and the option of wine to enjoy during the show, thrilled with comfortable seats, and the TALENT was incredible! Very much worth the drive from Austin and if you haven't seen the Putnam County Spelling Bee show, race to Round Rock as it is PHENOMENAL!!

We saw Putnam County Spelling Bee on Broadway years ago and enjoyed it and wondered if Penfold could do it justice. Not only did they do it justice, it was superb. Lively cast, good laughs with a bit of angst to fill the bill. Personally, I enjoyed it more than the stiffer Broadway production. Highly recommend. 🎭

My girlfriend and I booked tickets for the Spelling Bee at Penfold, and we were curious to see how they would interpret the show. We’ve both worked in community theater for years and were part of a production of the Spelling Bee years ago. This production blew us away. Very nice set, and excellent accompaniment. Amazing vocals, high energy, emotionally touching and also funny. Enjoyed every second.

The fact Penfold Theatre has been around for 18 years shows through in each and every performance. The level of professionalism and entertainment value is exceptional! I highly recommend you attend one of their performances. They have something for everyone!

Nice little, intimate theater although the seats are a little too close for comfort. They have a small snack bar with drinks available.

This was mine and my daughter's first theatre show. She was so happy after leaving. We both enjoyed the whole night. Great performance, small crowd, and definitely no traffic! Do yourself a favor and get in for the next show-whatever it may be!!! Oh yeah, Very affordable!

GO! Loved the story, the script. Standout actors/singers were young man and Claire. The young girl is a very good actress but couldn’t understand a word she sang, could understand her spoken words. Actor playing Clare’s bf was very good but not great vocal range. Regardless overall a very fun experience

Lovely intimate venue where every seat is great! It's a Wonderful Life was brilliant! The cast of 5 were excellent portraying all the characters in the story. We watch this movie every year and have done so for decades. We loved the Penfold Theater performance and appreciated that they followed the story and even used exact lines throughout. Thank you to the director, cast & crew for a wonderful evening! We look forward to future performances.
