"From the folks behind Penn Avenue Fish Company in the Strip, this Downtown eatery offers seafood during the day to go or for counter service, including sushi, soups, salads, and sandwiches, like an English-style cod sandwich and salmon on ciabatta. At night the focus is the Warren, a top-notch cocktail bar from Spencer Warren and Carrie Clayton, two of the city’s best bartenders. Housed in a room adjacent to the eatery, the domino-themed bar with a midcentury vibe offers a menu with fish and chips, wings, frog legs, and burgers. Take note that due to recent changes in state liquor laws, the spot is a wine shop, too." - Melissa McCart

Had a really nice lunch here. The Baja cod wrap was good. Maybe a bit too much sauce, but still tasty. Service was great. Friendly, attentive, but not obtrusive. Speedy option for a work lunch without feeling too hurried. They had the windows open to the sidewalk, which is a fun touch to get the sights and sounds of the city while enjoying lunch. I think a lot of people will go for the sushi, but the rest of the menu is nice too. I'll add this to my regular list of downtown lunch options.

Penn Ave fish company is wayyyyy better! Bf said sushi was good still but my burger was raw and bloody, when I requested well done! I don't send food back because I don't want to have it spit in. Waitress was good tho! Cassie did try to rectify the situation but it's not her fault. Tipped her well because she was great!

The sushi was good and the server was good. The wait was a little long.

Good and unique selection of food, very very slow service. A bit steep on prices for lunch. Also, the last time I was there it was cold outside and cold inside - kept our jackets on. There is also an attached store with wines, gifts and such which was very interesting and fun to look around. I will try this one more time and hope for the best on improvements or maybe just they need to hire some more help?

Kind of astounded to see a single negative review here on Penn Cove / The Warren. First and foremost, the reviewers are unfortunately ignorant to how much charity work Spencer and the establishments are involved in. Secondly, I've never had a bad meal here. The cod is entirely amazing - as is every side I've ever had. My ex GF hates all seafood - persuaded her to try it and now she'll eat cod! Furthermore, the wines are an alternative to Wines and Spirits and they have high end microbrew beer to go. Not once has any staff ever been rude to me, even during these incredibly stressful pandemic times. Realize what we're going through is far harder for a restaurant establishment and its employees. I will always recommend and frequent Penn Cove / The Warren. A true gem downtown. Jason S. - DreamTeam Development

This place has gone waayyy downhill in the last few months. All of the decent staff are no longer there. It's going downhill fast. I witnessed one of the owners being ridiculously rude to staff in front of patrons, on 3 different occasions. If he treats staff that way, no thank you. He must not realize is a food establishment. Piss the staff off and they will screw your business aka food orders. I'm good. No thanks. That guy is bad for business.

I ordered the chicken sandwich which the menu described as grilled with roasted peppers and mozzarella, what I got was deep-fried with pickles and mayo. Yes, it was a chicken sandwich, but it was not the chicken sandwich that was on the menu. It was also rather mediocre and way too small for being $12.

None of the friendly staff work there anymore. The atmosphere just seemed off to me. The food was not the same as it used to be. I guess the good food left with the good staff.
