10 Brilliant Brunches in Burlington, Vermont - Eater Montreal
"Breakfast and lunch are served all day, every day at this twenty-year-old crowd-pleaser. The extensive menu includes everything from nutty house-baked granola with maple syrup to gingerbread pancakes, biscuits and gravy, huevos rancheros, omelettes and beyond. Wash it all down with local beers and Bloody Marys." - Heather Platt
Arrived Sat @ 10:00 AM and was seated within 5 min!
The staff is extremely friendly and very efficient in serving the guests.
Eggs - moist
Sausage - garlicky and yummy
Home fries - very tasty
Breakfast sandwich - very generous
Pancakes - fluffy and real maple syrup!
Coffee - not the best
Other than the coffee everything was very good.

It's SO loud! Dirty dishes get thrown into plastic tubs in the dining area and the design is not set up to absorb extra noise. Acoustically it is excessively loud. Service was very good! Food was above average. Diverse breakfast menu oh, good for those who are vegetarians.

Made it just in time on aug1 before they have a short store break from aug2-11. We arrived a little before 9am and the store was packed! There were no available tables and were told to check back in 15mins. True to their word, they had a table left for us when we returned 15mins later. Service staff were friendly and helpful with everything that we needed. Food options were aplenty. Coffee from the jar did not really suit my palate though. I did not get through more than 2-3 mouthfuls of it.
The plain pancake taken with butter and maple syrup was a great choice. I liked my griddled egg and cheese sandwich with sourdough bread. The sourdough was really... sour. The potato salad from my friend's portion of, i am not sure what was great. She agreed so too. I could have more of that! A bustling little store. Loved the vibes. Will be back on my next visit to Vermont!

DELICIOUS brunch, but be prepared to wait around an hour or two before having a table because it is always crowded
The Huevos Rancheros and Huevos Verdes and the buttermilk pancake were very good plates and everything tasted fresh. The service was quick, the food is affordable and the staff is lovely. If you are in the Burlington area, definitely check out Penny Cluse for brunch!

Amazing breakfast place in Burlington! Not a super long wait on a Saturday morning. They have great interior decor/atmosphere and our waitress was very attentive. The portion sizes are great and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth checking out.

Good brunch place in Burlington recommended by our Airbnb host.
We really liked the pancakes (we reordered), the savory dishes were good but we were a tad disappointed. If you're into huevos rancheros you'll be happy here, they have a few variations of the dish.
They have full liquor license and serve great cocktails for a boozy brunch.

Fabulous! Creative brunch and lunch options, and everything is perfection. We had the “Rock and Bowl” (unique, like an avocado toast over rice and spinach), “Basic Breakfast” (three of us had this, all customized). Biscuits are excellent. Friendly and helpful service!! Amazing value.

A great meal! They are routinely very busy but it didn't deter from the experience much. I went out on a limb and tried something I had never heard of and it was delicious. Will be going back!
