Penzance Argos (Inside Sainsbury's)

ARGOS PENZANCE Useless! Couldn't return my items as the whole business relies on WiFi and 'handheld gizmos', when they have very little, to no reception in the store! Go figure that!!! Absolute joke! I was told that I could wait and they'd try 15 minutes later. So I'm meant to wait indefinitely for them to see if they get a bit of signal!?! When I enquired if they had a back up plan for that situation, if there's no Internet, she said 'No, we just close.' Whomever is in charge of Argos, (indeed the world it now seems🙄) can you not see that we cannot make the whole world rely on something that isn't reliable and more often doesn't work! Safe to say I will never order from Argos or Tu again, and would advise anyone else to think carefully before they do also, as I'm now out of pocket! 😡

I had the same issue as someone else who recently left a comment. I returned a DPD parcel there and the machine wasn't working, so my QR code wasn't scanned, I just got given a piece of paper with a tracking number DPD doesn't recognise! Now out of £70. God knows where the parcel is. Thanks!

For anybody buying curtains from Habitat here, be warned, unless you return them exactly, and I mean exactly the way they came, perfectly packaged as if they had never been opened they absolutely will not refund or exchange them. Total jobsworths and done with that smug look as they tell you they’re not accepting them. I took them back to a different assistant the next day and told them they were faulty so they had to refund.

Was spoken to extremely rudely by an old male member of staff and was talked down to because the app said something different to the website would recommend avoiding this argos ans go to another wont be returning unacceptable I'm disabled and am autistic my anxiety was so bad I just left didnt even get what I went for unacceptable

Helpful staff and well stocked. Loved the charity collections and food bank being built in. The sirloin steak from the butchers counter was delicious. Good range of produce and prices.

Great store unfortunately the night I called in the chillers has packed up do the were busy removing the chilled goods but did he apology that they could not sell me any of the chilled meat I wanted as it's co policy to remove it for health saftey

Gets very busy here, now at least 30% of the checkouts have become self checkout with one poor soul managing them. Come on Sainsbury's put at least 2 or 3 on self checkout.

Loads of choice, organic, vegetarian and vegan options are plentiful, "normal" foods are well catered for. Much cheaper than Tescos for buying equivalent organic foods. Huge store, loads of parking, easy to find, cafe upstairs and a doctors surgery and an argos and bakery downstairs amongst other things. Can find almost anything you could need in the store.
