I was attended as soon as I walked in, I got a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. Phi was super attentive to detail with my nails and very helpful with deciding on the base color. So happy to have found this salon!

what a great nail spot! i’m far from a pro at getting my nails done, but the techs were friendly, accommodating and creative. i brought in inspiration pics and they added little touches to improve the whole thing. relaxed, clean environment, and they happily took my friend and i as walk-ins with no wait time. also the price was SO affordable, i expected to pay at least $20-30 more than what i did. so they got a hefty tip instead! sad i’m not a local otherwise i’d definitely be back regularly :)

I was referred to this nail spot by my best friend. She did me a solid! Booking was really easy and fast. The shop was clean and organized which is a good sign. I've been going to the same lady for years, so naturally seeing a new nail tech is nerve wrecking. But I was so pleased with the whole process. He had a custom color that matched my old nail tech color. He took his time but wasn't slow at cleaning and shaping my nail. In a corporate girly, so a clean and classic finish is perfect. I love my nails and look forward to my next appointment!

First time at this salon! Called an hour before coming and they were able to squeeze me in for a gel pedicure before they got busy for the day :-) fast and efficient, and my toes look great! pricing is unbeatable for the area, will definitely be back!

I love this place. I won't go anywhere else. I loved the prior owners - went there since 2006 when my first child started at the preschool across the street. When they made their well-deserved retirement to Vietnam, they I believe sold the shop to the current owner. Changed name to Peony, updated the interior entirely; prices have gone up but honestly pedicures should never have been $20 to begin with. $40 is totally reasonable for a basic pedi. They're touching your feet!!! So you have to tip well. Anyway, when they left I thought I would give the new owners a chance bc I was going to need a new nail shop. I've been to a couple of other places just when Peony couldn't take me as a walk in right away & peony is my favorite! I once made an appt. for me & my daughter to come in before her graduation. Now I know when to come when I'll be able to walk in but for 2 people you are going to need an appt. Love this place!!

phi and sue are THE BEST and incredibly talented. they are the only two people i trust with my nails in the WORLD tbh. their gel x nails are iconic. and it's so relaxing and quiet in the salon

Annie is my girl :) I've been coming here for months for gel x and pedicures and she kills it every time! The other ladies here are also incredible, I will be here time and time again. Prices are good (card, cash, venmo or Zelle accepted), free neighborhood st parking, no frills spot, and if you sign up for their texts/loyalty program, they'll occasionally send random promos like 10-20% off. She also gave me a cute bottle of lotion as a holiday gift during my last visit. thank you Annie + team!

This is my new favorite spot! I am very particular about my dip manicures, and Annie did not disappoint. She did a meticulous job making my nails look great, and when I asked for super short she listened! The shop is super cute and it was easy to make an appointment via text and Instagram. Everyone who works here is so kind and friendly. Peony is a new shop and under different ownership than the nail salon that had been at this location. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for great mani/pedis!

This place is amazing. Clean and organised nice nail salon. Annie is very professional and friendly. She did exactly what I want. My nail is so pretty. The price is very reasonable too. I could give more than 5 stars on this review. I will definitely come back.

It's unfortunate as they did a good job and they are also inexpensive but the lady was so rude to me that I don't wanna ever come back. The older women are very nice but the younger woman awful customer service.

I've been going to this location for decades, but when Danny sold Royal Nail Spa, the new owners changed the name. Fortunately they kept at least one of the staff and they are doing a fine job taking care of my feet.

The staff at Peony Nail is very cute, funny, and very skillful in doing nails, so this month my gel nails are still like new. Love it!

**Their times are wrong on yelp! They're now open on Sundays! Call to check before looking for another place.** This place is great. Danny, the owner, and his wife (who's name I didn't get, unfortunately) are awesome, attentive and very reasonably priced. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure, with a gel removal and paraffin dip for hands + feet. Grand total was $75! So reasonable. They kept checking in on how I was doing, restarting the massage chair whenever it went off + made sure I got enough coats of my sparkle polish to really shine. When three coats was still a little thin, Danny applied another, without my prompting. He held my nails against each other at various angles to ensure the shapes were even and consistent with one another. Their color selection was a bit thin, but they more than make up for it with excellent service + great pricing. Five stars.

I got a new dip set. The technicians dipped my finger in the powder instead of using a brush to apply it which took me by surprise, considering they didn't ask me to wash my hands. It makes me wonder how unsanitary the place as a whole is and how many people they do this to. Also, I got my toes done with gel. Within a week it began chipping. I've been to places where the gel would last for a LONG time. So imagine my disappointment to see within a week it was already rubbing off. I normally did their waxing services but now I'm second guessing with their sanitation practices. Nice, lovely people but for the prices they're charging I can get the same work at a better quality somewhere else. It's not even that close to me, I'm going out of my way to use a whole in the wall place.

Annie and her worker are great. They do an excellent job and their salon is very accommodating. They work quickly and can fit you in even if you don't have an appointment. I get a manicure and a pedicure about even 3 weeks and at times I get my hair on my face removed with wax. Depending on the aero requested, prices can be competitive, however, Annie offers discounts frequently.

Walked in for a wax and the person didn't put a clean sheet of paper down for me to lie down on. That's just gross. . She did a rush job and hacked into my eyebrows leaving a hole and there was no one else in the salon. Not returning.

if i can give more the 5 starts i would ! first and foremost very great customer service . i made a appt couple days before and they end up taking us a lil earlier before our appt time. This is A place that's very convenient and also affordable. they took their time and did not rush one bit !!!! thank you Peony Nail Spa for your services! this is my GO-TO NOW !!

Awful job on dip manicure. Peeled after one day. Went back. They fixed peeling but after one week look like about to come apart. Do not recommend

Staff is very friendly and the shop had a bunch of regulars when I visited. Unfortunately got a poorly done gel manicure for $35. Thumbs are streaky, polish is clumpy, doesn't go to the edges but somehow on my cuticles. And 4 days later I already have a chip on my thumb.

I bought acrylic nails and not only were they messed up they didn't last a week . 2 days in one fell off and now it's the 4th day and I have only 5 nails on. (Different hands). they Wouldn't help me because "I'm the only customer this happens to". first time going don't recommend . I Should have just bought press ons they might have lasted longer

I like this place and I've been coming for years. The team is great and their work is awesome. Lately though, they've been burning cigarettes in the altar at the front. Wtf. The space doesn't get a lot of fresh air, so it ends up being very smoky. It's been making me hesitant to come back because I don't enjoy sitting in cigarette smoke.

This was my first time here and happy with my gel manicure. They are very friendly and the room has a nice bright and calming atmosphere.

I had nail technician and maybe owner, Danny, complete the service of an acrylic refill. I also got my index finger on my right hand repaired. He did a decent job on the repair; however because he damaged the nail more during the repair, it required more work and acrylic to repair. The fill itself was done averagely...the overlay is lumpy or uneven at the cuticle and not blended smoothly. I am a bit concerned about the quality and cleanliness of tools used because I didn't see any sanitation containers with tools soaking inside and the tools he used on me were worn. He spent a lot of time trying to get the shape correct and removed all excess acrylic by filing and cleaning under the nail. And he provided two coats of clear coat. Best of all, Danny provided excellent customer service and care. He was polite, conversational & responded to my picky requests to the best of his abilities. So I couldn't ask for more than that. All in all, it was a good experience and I'll def go back. But I'll make sure to check the tools again. I got what I paid for. ‍

Very nice couple. Cute inside. Made a gel manicure appointment. It was reasonably priced. She was quick (done in 35 minutes) and efficient! I love my manicure! They had a nice section of (regular polish) and gel colors to choose from.

I've had consistently positive experiences at this place. That said, I've only used it for gel pedicures but everyone has been professional and efficient. It might be in response to a previous comment but whenever I've been here, they've had plastic liners in the pedicure tubs. Also, I've never had a problem just walking in (little to no wait) and the massage chairs are 10/10. So, it's basically everything you could want in a neighborhood nail salon.

They've got some serious sanitation issues here. They don't use plastic liners in the pedicure tubs, so I'm skeptical of how clean those are. When one of the nail technicians started my pedicure, she unrolled a pair of used gloves and I had to stop and ask her to go get a new pair. My friend got a regular manicure and was not pleased by the quality of the job done. On the upside, they are very thorough. However, I won't be coming here again.

From the outside, this place doesn't really look like much. Nor does it look like a lot from the inside - when my friend called me and told me to meet her there, I was a little hesitant to go inside when I arrived, since it looked like it was straight out of the 70s. It needs a little bit of sprucing up inside and outside, but thankfully, we had Yelp reviews to go off of! The prices are reasonable, and I paid $32 for a mani/pedi, and they did a nice job. The color selection isn't quite as large as other places, but they have enough. They did a nice job on both my toes and fingernails, and were careful and it didn't feel overly rushed. The only odd thing while we were there was that were 2 clients there eating fried chicken and french fries while they were getting their nails done, which was odd. The smell of fried food and nailpolish wasn't great. I'd recommend that the owners ask people not to eat while they are getting their nails done, for the sake of other customers. I'd come back here again - they were relatively quick, reasonably priced and nice. They could do a little work on the outside and inside for decor, revamping the place, but all in all, a decent place if you just need to get your nails done. Don't expect anything fancy or frilly though.

Piranha Pedi? Um, can I sign up twice? Actually, I did, and dragged my gorgeous, brave boyfriend along with me to get one too. It was his first pedicure (not surprisingly, this guy only shaves when I whine about make out burn. Of course he's not the mani-pedi type), so it was quite exciting. We both got the fish, because when in Rome, you get a fish pedicure. The shop is small and clean, had a cute atmosphere. We both had to have a quick foot rinse before hopping in with the fishes. The fish tank is in the back, and they didn't charge us for the fish treatment (AWESOME). I went first (because there's no way I would let fish go at me after they had been munching on his toesies). The water was lukewarm, and the fish were hungry. They went AT IT. It tickles like crazy. It's so weird to watch because you see a few just chillin around your feet, and then there's some just STARVING and noming away. Anyways, the girl who was helping us was super nice and answered my (now nervous) boyfriend's questions. She told us that everyone gets about ten minutes, and that the fish are more effective when they're fresh. Also, each fish costs about $5, and they had to be imported in. Apparently the fish were too big to be truly effective (um, I disagree) so that's why they didn't charge anymore. She also happily told us about how one woman screamed for 6 minutes straight. I am not gonna lie, I giggled for the first three minutes until I calmed down (my boyfriend ended up holding my hand for a minute because I was freaking out). But it was AWESOME. When my honey got in, he immediately lit up with giggles. It is an incredibly ticklish experience, and it should be on bucket lists everywhere. It is awesome and so cool. After that, we both got in spa chairs and got pedicures. I noticed they mix cuticle oil with lotion, which I have never seen before, but I thought was kind of neat. I really don't know if the fish actually make your feet softer or more exfoliated, but it was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend it. AND the staff is AWESOME, so sweet, so nice. I love it.

First time for a dude to get a pedicure. The place has fish for your feet. Not for me on a first date, I just wanted the dead skin off my feet for summer. The guy knew I was a runner. He says "you run a lot? Bad for me, good for you! You keep running, and come back and see me more often!" - I thought that was pretty funny. Anyhow, for a first experience this place seemed pretty good. The massage chairs features didn't all work, the place wasn't as clean as I would like, but the price was right, and dude, it's right next to The Smokehouse!! Clean feet and a burger. NICE!!!

Twenty-eight dollars gets you a better than average mani/pedi at Royal. The nail technicians here serviced me right though my pedicure partner found them lacking in thoroughness (and you might too if your feet require above average tidying.) They have a decent selection of OPI but no Essie, which is a bit disappointing. Given its proximity to my casa and very convenient hours - seven days a week! - I'll likely be returning to Royal on the regular.

This is where I always go for a mani/pedi. First of all, everyone who works here is super friendly. I have never been disappointed with the quality of the work. For some reason, I seem to have a difficult time planning an appointment ahead of time so I tend to wait til I really need it and just show up at the nail salon. They are always kind enough to fit me in and because they so accommodating sometimes I might have to wait a bit but I don't mind because its worth it. I have been a regular client for at least 3 years now. With that being said, It's kind a comfortable feeling to know that you are always welcome and that they are genuinely glad to see you.

The staff here is really friendly, funny, and they do a good job. My gel Manicure lasted for over 2 weeks. My regular pedicure is on 3+ weeks. Prices are reasonable, the two services came to $53. They do use plastic linings in the tubs for sanitation! Other customers are friendly as week - A nice neighborhood spot.

Most importantly my simple pedicure was great, good attention to detail with the polish. Decent length leg rub. No frills nail salon. Massage chairs are great.

Came in, was greeted, asked to pick a color. I showed a picture of the shape I wanted and Michelle got to work. She was extremely thorough polishing and filing and buffing, it was extremely comforting since I'm a bit of a perfectionist. Only cost 28$ with a 5$ tip. Will definitely be back! Oh and maybe call ahead of time, they do get busy with a lot of walk-ins ;)

I've had my nails done a few times here, but the last two times really put me off. I get gel manis done, but for some reason they seem to have issues getting my whole nail covered. When I pointed this out last time, the woman blamed it on it being winter and affecting the nail polish. She offered to fix it, but I'd already been there an hour and I had an appointment and couldn't stay. Now, less then a week later one of my nails has peeled off halfway. I'm going to have to hunt for another place.

I went after reading all the positive reviews. I was the only client getting a mani pedi there that mid morning. The service was attentive but at $37 a pop, I expected better quality. The location and decoration did not fit the price point either.

Was in the area and didn't have time to go home to get my nails done. Saw the reviews and decided to give it a try. It was a slow day & I was greeted right away. Prices were reasonable. The man who did my fill was very nice & funny. A bit rough but I didn't mind it, my nails look great & im happy with them.

My family and I have been going here since my daughter was too young to reach the water while sitting in a chair, and now she's taller than me. We were there when they had fish, and when they didn't. I love going here. I've been other places with friends, but this is my place forever. I've seen them be so kind and patient with difficult people. I've seen them patiently work with ticklish people. I love being remembered when I show up. I will always come here. Nails are done to my liking. Eventually they'll get my girl to stop biting her nails, I'm sure of it.

I will seriously never go anywhere else now that I have found "A Royal Nail Spa" they are so friendly, inexpensive, professional and do an AMAZING JOB!!!! My cousin and I love our nail ladies! Kim is the BEST!!!! Kaity, June, Sophia all have help us with manicure and pedicures!! Greet us with excitement and ready to help us! NEVER have I had service like this!
