"People’s Organic is a reliable go-to for fresh soups and sandwiches, baked goods, breakfast scrambles, and big, leafy salads — it’s one of the airport’s best bets for vegan and gluten-free eaters. This place is good for grab-and-go meals, or you can slide into a booth and relax a little. People’s serves cocktails, wine, and beer as well." - Justine Jones

June 2025 Review I really enjoyed the avocado toast here—four small slices topped with fresh, flavorful avocado. While the price was on the higher side at around $22, it’s somewhat expected at the airport. I paired it with a chocolate croissant and some fried potatoes, which rounded out the meal nicely. Overall, a very solid breakfast option, especially for an airport setting.

We ordered the street tacos, the wings, and the chicken and wild rice soup along with some cocktails. The dill Bloody Mary didn’t taste like it had any dill and all the garnish was missing, and the spiced cranberry old fashion was just ok and it too was missing the garnish. Then when the waiter brought our food out that’s when we were informed that they didn’t have the soup. It would have been nice to know before the others at the table got their food so we could have eaten together. Our waitress went missing and we had to ask for the ticket so we check out.

we are vegan super happy with macro bowel and black bean chili added bonus was staff offered us an balsamic vinegar dressing Super delicious super healthy. I’m happy.!! We sat in the restaurant, which was great with all the natural light from the windows a real treat when you’re in a mall

I thought I’d be in for a great dining experience from how I was greeted at the entrance by the kind cashier named Robert (I think it was, forgive me if I’m wrong). But from the second I’d been seated, the waitress was nothing short of rude and indifferent to any of my needs as a customer. She asked me “if I know what I want” while the cashier was clearly explaining the menu items he favors, and when I said not yet, she walked away without saying anything. Returned and asked again, I told her I’m not sure but know I’d like to order an iced mocha and a water with no ice. She returns with the mocha, and says what else did you order? I remind her of the water. I kid you not, she returned with the “water” cup overfilled to the brim with ice. At this point the hostility had just scared me and had me worried for the food I’d be eating (if you’re intentionally giving me a cup full of Antarctica, what’s stopping you from tampering with my food?) and asked for the food to go after she had handed me my check without the food. The customers to my left thanked her for her “great service” and I sat there scared and confused that I could be in the wrong until a server friend of mine confirmed that her actions were intentional. How lovely. So to my server, thank you for your great service of indifference and lack of care. Do not dine here.

Excellent avocado toast and organic fair trade coffee. One of the places to eat in Minneapolis St Paul airport. Service slow but food worth the wait. Highly recommended

Google
I’m on my first flight and chose to eat here because of their fresh choices and competitive prices! Was greeted by Rob the host and his assistant Bezauit - he was very personable and friendly as he answered my questions , we shared laughs about shared experiences in the resteraunt! My wrap came with a salad and I shredded that food apart in minutes! Delicious , friendly and affordable - and fresh as promised. If you’re here for organic food in an airport they are SOLID! If you are looking for extensive attention to your craft cocktails- good news, the rest of the airport is for you! They do what they need well - love you Rob & Bezauit

I don’t usually write reviews, but Paola was incredibly kind and fun. From the very start, she made me feel welcome with her warm personality and great attitude. She was always attentive and thoughtful, making sure every little detail was just right💛

The is is my go-to place for a great meal at MSP. Salad/grain bowls are excellent. I just wish the managers would consider matching the music to the vibe of the restaurant. There’s been times I’ve wanted to eat there but didn’t because it’s just too loud.

Yelp
With its selection of vegan and vegetarian options, this is a go to. I started with the Dill Bloody Mary. nicely spiced but I do not taste any dill. The beer chaser was extra but that is typical in Minnesota. I ordered the Vegan Chelsea which is a vegan take on a Reuben with beets instead of meet. It tasted good but the wheat bread was not strong enough for this sandwich. Something heftier might work better. Their breakfast menu looks amazing, I wish some of the items were served all day. I also wished they served their soup by the cup, not just the bowl. I would have added a cup to my order but bowl is just too much. Super friendly and attentive servers. The restaurant is well located with a window to the runway that allows you to watch planes arrive and take off. A nice spot to hang, eat and drink while waiting for a flight especially if you are a Vegan or vegetarian

Robert W.

Yelp
Worst service ever. I ordered before noon, got bill at 12:00, got food at 12:19, I gave card and expressly said I needed a to-go box and to pay bill. Server then ignored me and made drinks for 4-5 people at bar. I had to go up to bar, said I needed to pay bill and get to-go box. She took her time getting bill and even then still no to-go box. I had to ask her coworker for one. Had to eat my meal on the plane, so that means even if it arrived hot, it was mediocre by time I consumed. Never again.

Yelp
Roughly $25/pp for a sandwich might rub some people the wrong way. Still, it's nice to have decent vegan & gluten free options available. The service was pretty slow. There is a hospitality charge added, which seems standard for the area.

Kelly M.

Yelp
Humored the wife I'm her search for a healthier food option while traveling. I thought it was overpriced, which, yeah, it's an airport AND gluten free, so, double whammy. It also wasn't very good. The desserts were gummy.

Blake M.

Yelp
Would leave 0 stars if I could. Stopped here for coffee on arrival a few weeks ago. Was served scalding coffee that was undrinkable. An another occasion, I was told I couldn't sit at one of the MANY open tables in the to-go express market area, because I had "outside" food...even though I had bought a coffee there. It's an airport (essentially a glorified food court) for goodness sake. Wont waste my time going anywhere near this establishment (a generous description) again.

Kelly D.

Yelp
We had time to kill in the Minnesota airport && decided to get a small bite at this place! I was surprised at how busy they were, but yet again I don't usually fly at 12pm. It was quite decent. They had pretty healthy options to choose from. We went for a Really Greek Salad with quinoa tabouli, chickpeas && added chicken. The dressing was lemon oregano dressing & it was good. We also got the Free Range Chicken Wings that had sesame BBQ sauce on them. We opened out of the blue cheese sauce && got the ranch instead. They were also good. The service was par. They were short handed, and let everyone know that. The food came out moderately quickly, considering their short handedness. Overall I would visit again.

Leesa T.

Yelp
Peoples organic is quick and easy. I had about two hours to kill and did just that. I ate a Northern California wrap and chilled out. The wrap is pretty big and sever with a side salad unless you request sweet potato fries. Fries cost more. There's a carry out side to the restaurant for the grab and go customer. And, a dine in area for the passenger like me. I enjoyed the meal and the opportunity to chill before my flight. Peoples Organic serves a hearty breakfast and healthy menu mixed with a side of chill.

April B.

Yelp
During a layover at the airport, I was excited to find People Organic and that they had a gluten free maple glazed and lemon bar! They are not a purchase I'd do again...They are still slightly frozen and cold and unfortunately just not very good. Although I won't finish them, Kudos to People Organic for having a gluten free option and I do hope others enjoy them!

Yelp
I came in and ordered the Grilled Rachel and an iced tea. The table that I sat down at was not wiped. In fact, my server even wiped crumbs off when he took my order. But, he did not bother to come back and wipe the table afterward; he just left me iced tea and a water then walked away. The sandwich and salad came on what I would consider a salad plate. It was a very small portion, especially for the $17 they charge for it. The sandwich is one you could easily make at home (for MUCH less than $17). I asked if my salad had dressing on it, because it appeared that it did not. I was told that it was it was there, and the server consequently touched my lettuce to show me that there was dressing on it. When he saw there was not he asked me if I wanted dressing and came back with some "extra dressing" for me. While service was quick, I was unimpressed and would not recommend anybody stopping here when at the Minneapolis St. Paul airport.

Yelp
I desperately wanted to like this place. Our flight was delayed significantly, so we looked around for something relatively healthy-looking and with a vegetarian option for me. The presence of a vegan chocolate donut in the pastry case seemed like a good sign, and we picked up a Mediterranean wrap for my husband and a Greek salad for me. Sadly, the condition of the salad was a bit on the wilted side, with entirely tasteless quinoa and only marginally better chickpeas, which were not made that much better by the dressing (but thank goodness the feta was normal). The wrap was apparently better, so I would suggest that over the salads (which are somehow the most expensive items on the menu). We decided to try the donut and got one to split between the two of us, and this was a good decision. I've had a lot of vegan donuts, as I'm allergic to eggs, and this ranked amongst the bottom, unfortunately :( My husband likened it to eating a block of fudge, and I felt it was perhaps not fully cooked through, as it had an odd aftertaste that I suspect was at least partially uncooked flour. We may have come on a bad day, but a lot of the food was just not in great shape. There's some nice-looking seating by the windows that looks like it is related to the same market and was completely deserted, but we got shooed away before we even sat down--it apparently is reserved for people who are purchasing alcohol at the bar that is behind this airport stall on that side. Not a great experience all around.

Jason G.

Yelp
Whenever you have a restaurant in an airport, you have to always proceed with the caveat that it's airport prices But this was kind of a nice little place stopped here to get some breakfast booze and it was very well done. Had a nice little breakfast sandwich menu. I would go back if I was coming through this airport.

Manuela R.

Yelp
On the take out section they have made to order items to include avocado toast right up on the big digital board. I waiting in line 10m only to be told "the kitchen" isn't allowing those items today unless you sit in the restaurant. What a waste and terrible service. Since when does the kitchen make these decisions?????

Laura M.

Yelp
I was unsure after reading the mediocre reviews but my lunch was delicious and "clean eating". Most items are pre-made. Had the Northern California wrap. Avocado was fresh, not brown. It had just the right amount of tomato aioli. Chicken was tasty and a nice side salad. Yeah it was pricey, as is every restaurant at MSP

Daniel G.

Yelp
Wow, great service and healthy food. Go to place in Minneapolis airport... wonderful server bartender katy.

M H.

Yelp
Visited the airport location listed as "MSP Mall". The flash fried cauliflower was literally the best I've had! Customized a sandwich without blinking at the request. DELICIOUS!

Citizen S.

Yelp
From a distance this looks like a dream for people who want healthier food than the bar food next door, mall food in the food court, the range of bad burger peddlers, or whatever Leean Chin is. Lots of salads, organic plates, and better snacks than anywhere in the airport. Top shelf for vegans and vegetarians and others avoid deaths by carcinogens. Three warnings: 1. The food looks better than it tastes. 2. It's so expensive that it feels insulting (greedflation much?) 3. The service is outstandingly bad for a restaurant at this price point. Our server sat on his phone so long that I thought we were being held hostage. The breakfast potatoes were inedible. The toast he'd, dry, and cold. The eggs were serviceable, but kind of tough. My banana was really good and organic, but I love bananas. I felt robbed when we left. The place looked great, but it was a mirage.

Nicole S.

Yelp
This was a great vegetarian option at the airport. A generous wrap and a salad. Healthy, filling and lots of flavor. The dressing was good too. This business also offered soup, sandwiches and coffee. Would return!

Natalie P.

Yelp
I didn't intend on getting a big meal here, I was just looking in the fast options to go and there wasn't much, but the employee working said hello and asked if I needed help with anything so I looked at the hot sandwiches instead and decided to try the Turkey, bacon, and cheese sandwich. It was amazing and I love how friendly he was. He even brought my sandwich to me after I sat down. It was hot and tasted amazing. Was ready within 5 minutes. It was $16, but with how much Turkey and bacon was on it, completely worth it!

Mary Jane C.

Yelp
At first bite, I regretted my decision to choose this place. I ordered the organic tofu scramble with fried sliced potatoes and a whole grain bread. Maybe I ordered the wrong item on the menu? People seemed to be ordering the burrito and sandwich. There's nothing wrong with the service or employees - I'm sure they're just doing their job and following the instructions given. Food: -Bland, like no salt at all. I'm okay with that as long as there's flavor. There's no flavor. -Oily. The oil covered the entire bottom of my container. -Unpleasant texture. I don't expect 5-star cooking but the fried potatoes were undercooked and soggy with oil. -The tofu and veggies had a sprinkle of curry powder...for color? The veggies were oily, overcooked, and soggy.

Brittany F.

Yelp
I got the Chicken and Goat cheese ciabatta sandwich with fries at the MSP airport. It was pricey BUT I took the chance and was so happy I did. When I travel I hate having to grab cheap quick food that is terrible for you. This tasted amazing! And the girl at the counter was very kind and helpful. It didn't take long for her to make my order and I was on my way! I wish more of my flight came into the F gate so I could get this whenever I came to MSP :)

Stephany H.

Yelp
Poor service, appears to have 2 servers ( one is tending bar )! So slow- on an airport where people are eating & trying to make connections. Out of thousand island dressing for 2 sandwiches, so too bad... no suggestions for substitute... brought simple mayo . Don't waste time here today.

Nandini A.

Yelp
A nice place to stop on your way to your gate, although it is quite pricey as one would expect of airport dining. The three cheese sandwich was pretty good! It was warm and had the right amount of saltiness from what I think was goat cheese. The basil and veggies inside were pretty good too. It's just a little greasy to eat. I sat at my gate to eat but it had a lot of seating which is nice. The service was also quick and there weren't too many people waiting in line since it was so early in the morning.

Kelsey D.

Yelp
I was at the Minneapolis airport and went to Peoples Organic and sat at the bar right when they opened at 6:45am. I got the Breakfast Bowl and it was good. I have celiac and didn't get sick from cross contamination/gluten. For an airport, the price was normal. It was a great airport breakfast!

Katie S.

Yelp
We stopped here out of necessity as it was one of the only places open, but it was a good quick bite although overpriced for what you get. FOOD: We ordered the chicken and goat cheese ciabatta and the Northern California wrap. Both were pretty tasty! I appreciated how generous they were with the goat cheese on the sandwich. However, both were quite small for dinner and very overpriced. We also ordered drinks - we got the thyme and thyme again and the Jamaican Moscow mule. Both were also tasty, but again quite overpriced. AMBIANCE: I don't have high expectations for an airport restaurant, but the decor was quite nice and the dine-in area was nicely separated from the airport crowds. SERVICE: Nice servers. The drinks took a while to come out but the food was quick.

Mike N.

Yelp
Minneapolis, Airport This food seems like it would be good but it really isn't. The sandwiches are mostly huge breads and very little ingredients. And for this you are paying a rather grotesque fee. By the time you buy two sandwiches, two drinks, and something to take on the plane you could have dined at a 5 star restaurant. Oh, so when I opened my boxed lunch on the pane I found my turkey wrap was cleverly disguised to appear normal sized. Instead I got two miniature pieces of a wrap with a salad that didn't come with a fork. Is there a better place to eat at the airport? I will have to consult my fellow Yelpers on this.

Erika K.

Yelp
I normally love this place. Great flavors, vegan and vegetarian options, excellent service. Had the Buddha bowl and the grain was undercooked. At first I thought it might be the sesame seeds, it wasn't. Glad I didn't break a tooth. Will for sure be back as it's my go-to but hope they do better quality control in the future.

Joel S.

Yelp
Excellent free range wings and some of the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. Welcome break from typical airport food.

Lynne C.

Yelp
Flight got delayed for the third time and may get cancelled so we were starving. Husband really wanted something "healthy" so we stopped in and sat at the bar. The bartender has been really courteous and attentive, but not too friendly in a creepy way. We ordered a blue moon and the Northern California Wrap with a side salad. Would definitely give the wrap a 5/5, very fresh, surprisingly a warm not a cold wrap, with sun dried tomatoes which was a great touch. The salad has been underwhelming and is basically arugula with a vinaigrette splashed on top.

Sai G.

Yelp
Can you Imagine eating a butter croissant like this. WoW. The latte tastes better at least. Not a place to stop-by for food, coffee a may be option.

Chris W.

Yelp
I decided to eat in, as the ready to go didn't look appetizing. Ordered the macro bowl. Lots of food. My understanding is that the Mediterranean bowl is even larger. Very friendly and efficient server wearing a mask. Food: 3.5 Service: 5

Martina C.

Yelp
Yikes. Total disaster. People's organic seemed to be the logical and great and safe choice for a vegan traveler at MSP. Nope. First issue - our server seemed completely confused about almost everything on the menu. Then we ordered Fried Cauliflower, which was supposed to have a Soy Cilantro dip and came with blue cheese instead. I asked the waitress what it was and she said blue cheese. We told her we were vegan and that it has dairy and that wasn't okay. She swapped it out and apologized. The two flavors were awful together. The fried cauliflower was soggy but it did have a nice flavor. It was a BBQ flavor. Which made the soy cilantro sauce confusing to me. It did NOT taste good together. Then I ordered Avocado Toast with vegan sausage & a side of sweet potato fries with sriracha aoili. My husband ordered the Cowboy Burger which came with a Beyond patty. Our fries came out first and mine were ice cold. My husband said his were fine. The fry baskets also still had the "Made in China" labels on them, which told me that they clearly hadn't been washed yet. When my Avocado Sausage came the sausage didn't look like the prior photos of vegan sausage so I asked the waitress to double check and she said yes it's vegan. Then I asked what brand it was and she said she would ask. When she came back she said "it's vegan." Again, I said, that's not what I asked, I asked what brand it is. Which resulted in her asking all of the other front of the house staff until someone said "Beyond Meat." I wouldn't have ordered it had I known that as Beyond products upset my stomach and they're too greasy. Thankfully my husband ate them. My husband said his burger was dry, which for a Beyond burger meant they sure had to cook it for a long time because they are super greasy and I've never ever seen them served dry. I ordered a Chandon Brut Rose to drink, and the server had to come back and ask where on the menu it was. And I ordered a Blackberry Lavender Champagne cocktail which basically had lavender pellets in it and I had to keep spitting them out. We were going to have dessert but the server told us her shift was over and we needed to pay. Just EVERY bit of our experience was awful. Save yourself the misery and stay away.

Grace P.

Yelp
Ambiance - nothing phenomenal considering its in an airport. That being said, its very clean, lots of open tables, and decent decor. Football and golf was playing. Service - fantastic! Our bartender / waitress was great. Attentive and funny. Food - way better than expected! I got chicken with goat cheese on a ciabatta roll. Fries were crispy and delicious. Sandwich was filling and the chicken wasn't nasty - which is impressive for an airport.

Rogin G.

Yelp
Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan food at its finest. Quite a few organic options to choose from and their service is noticeably fast. I felt it's was a much better option than the other fast food joints nearby in the airport. Enjoyed the Grilled Rachel and blondie for dessert. If you're flying out of MSP or stopping for a connecting flight, have some Organic food for a change people. Bon Voyage!

Alyssa S.

Yelp
They grilled only one side of my tuna melt. One side was crisp and the other was a soggy mess. But The grilled part of it was tasty. And they did have a good vegetarian and vegan options, and the chai was fine. In an airport with out a lot of interesting food options, this is a solid three stars . They also have GT kombucha. And the mixed greens salad that came with the sandwich was fresh and tasty

Tanveer A.

Yelp
Given that all the options in this part of airport is not preferable and I need to eat something, I choose this place to make sure I am eating something healthy. Airport food is pricey and offer very little values compared to price; this place is no exception. Ordered black bean soup which comes with a slice of toasted bread. Both items are alright. Will come to this place simply because all other alternatives are much inferior. Recommended if you are in the airport and need to eat something.

Ken M.

Yelp
Probably the worst meal I've had in five years. Small portions, over priced plastic. I absolutely would never eat there again

Mark O.

Yelp
6 employees, not even half full. The tables were having to place orders at the bar after waiting 15-20 min. But "FAIR TRADE!" ByFocus on capitalism not globalism. This place is bleeding money the way they operate.

Tim C.

Yelp
Lazy staff. Tried to order something and was told to pick from what was available. Guess I interrupted the employees conversation. Found a sandwich in the cooler which came with a salad that was a wreck to eat being it wasn't cut.

Andre R.

Yelp
This place is terrible. The cashier was very rude and said fuck you as I left. Stay away from this place.

Robin V.

Yelp
Absolutely Horrendous service. I waited 15 minutes at my table for someone to take my order. I then got up and asked my waitress to take my order, to which she said "I'll get to you as soon as I can". And then she proceeded to wait on larger tables and ignored me. I waited another 10 minutes and then left. Another single diner near me also got up and left after getting no service. Crappiest service ever.

David N.

Yelp
I was happy to find some place with vegan options for breakfast but very disappointed with the outcome. Took more than 10 minutes to get my food and there was nobody else there. I like Curry but the tofu was more like a serving of curry with a little bit of tofu. I could not eat it. Waste of time and money

Julieanne H.

Yelp
Unbelievable rude, heavy, dirty employee cussing and telling customers that they will just have to wait to place an order because her coworker is on the phone and she's not working until he does. Then another worker came on and helped while the bad employee bad mouthed her and the one on the phone. I decided not to her food and just had drinks. Sad because it was the healthiest looking dood in the immediate area.

Keith B.

Yelp
I'm writing this as I sit on minute 20 of waiting for my order to be taken. Place is not busy, bunch of open tables. I had to flag someone down after 10 minutes by waving my arm. She gave me a menu and now there has not been a single person out here. I just got up and looked and they are all standing in the back of the kitchen laughing. Now on minute 30 and I'm leaving. Place is an yet joke. There are 4 servers for six tables. Girl at the register is gone now too as they have a line there as well. Finally ordered a wrap. That was about 20 minutes ago. We are now on minute 48 of this and they are not understaffed or busy. They just don't seem to care. Strongly advise against this place

Valerie B.

Yelp
The food is decent, and the people are nice - and I love People's Organic outside the airport. This location was a complete service disaster. It took me over 15 minutes to order food from the fast service side, and they shifted the line once because their computer system was frozen - but those at the end now were first in the new line. When I ordered my food, they told me it would take 15 minutes - remember, I am on the fast service, counter side. At least they let me know. Fine, I had a few minutes before boarding. I decided to wait, then they brought my coffee and didn't have any sweetener besides processed sugar. I generally use honey, but am okay with agave syrup. Had I known - I guess my bad for not asking first - I wouldn't have ordered the Americano. Skip this location. They are a mess.

Dena K.

Yelp
Starbucks and caribou is not good coffee. Actually. It's BAAAAD coffee. The best option at the worst place for food options aka the airport is People's Organic. I'm satisfied with my americano. And the best part of this place is the friendly staff especially Dora or Dona (didn't quite catch her name tag). Bright smile, pleasant to order from. This is my go to stop at MSP.

Brandon S.

Yelp
I ordered a Rachel's sandwich with NO CHEESE and I was given a sandwich with ONLY CHEESE and nothing else. I should've verified that they filled the order correctly. Instead, I was in a hurry, so I ran to my gate without checking to make sure the order was correct. Now I have a sandwich that I cannot eat because I have a dairy allergy and had to go straight to my gate to make my flight. Very incompetent customer service at that restaurant. Avoid at all cost. I'm going to dispute the transaction since they gave me the wrong order. Terrible.

Dustin R.

Yelp
Had breakfast, got the People's Classic, was good and a good portion. Expensive place, but I liked it and so did my wife. The potatoes were good but my wife complained there were too many! Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time, but they put it in togo boxes that steam up whatever you ordered. Overall a good option. For breakfast the Wendy's next door has a longer line because this place cost twice as much. So you decide if you have time to skip the long lines and pay double.

Michael W.

Yelp
I've eaten here a few times. The food is average to good. Sometimes a bit pretentious. I ordered tomato basil soup. I received a Southwest soup I returned it and seemed to be challenged. I Asked for a piece of Bread or a cracker. They said they have none. I asked them to double check. I offered to pay. They said that there is absolutely no bread or a CracKer. I told them How unusual it was that soup came with nothing. Especially when you pay $6 for 4 ounces

Jim N.

Yelp
Vile in every aspect. Hot greasy Turkey sandwich, bag of salty chips, cookie and a water $26. Deli sandwiches should be served cold, not microwaved.no condiments and a sign on the table they charge 4% hospitality charge, for what? Avoid.
