I desperately wanted to like this place. Our flight was delayed significantly, so we looked around for something relatively healthy-looking and with a vegetarian option for me.
The presence of a vegan chocolate donut in the pastry case seemed like a good sign, and we picked up a Mediterranean wrap for my husband and a Greek salad for me. Sadly, the condition of the salad was a bit on the wilted side, with entirely tasteless quinoa and only marginally better chickpeas, which were not made that much better by the dressing (but thank goodness the feta was normal). The wrap was apparently better, so I would suggest that over the salads (which are somehow the most expensive items on the menu).
We decided to try the donut and got one to split between the two of us, and this was a good decision. I've had a lot of vegan donuts, as I'm allergic to eggs, and this ranked amongst the bottom, unfortunately :( My husband likened it to eating a block of fudge, and I felt it was perhaps not fully cooked through, as it had an odd aftertaste that I suspect was at least partially uncooked flour. We may have come on a bad day, but a lot of the food was just not in great shape.
There's some nice-looking seating by the windows that looks like it is related to the same market and was completely deserted, but we got shooed away before we even sat down--it apparently is reserved for people who are purchasing alcohol at the bar that is behind this airport stall on that side. Not a great experience all around.
