"Peoples Town Coffee Bar serves coffee and espresso drinks using beans from Atlanta roastery Portrait Coffee and Methodical Coffee out of Greenville, South Carolina. Expect pastries and toasts in the morning, but in the afternoon the kitchen here is slinging some seriously good grilled cheese sandwiches. Order the Stanton with bacon and a trio of melty mozzarella, provolone, and cheddar cheeses, or try the Chosewood with salami, pesto, Peppadew peppers, and gooey mozzarella and provolone cheeses. Beer and wine are also available from the refrigerators across from the order counter." - Eater Staff

Where to Find Espresso Tonics at Coffee Shops Around Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"A neighborhood coffee bar that keeps its espresso tonic straightforward and bright, mixing tonic water and orange bitters with Methodical Coffee’s Blue Boy espresso blend, which brings hints of chocolate, graham cracker, and brown sugar. The shop sources beans from Black-owned Atlanta roastery Portrait Coffee and Methodical Coffee, and expands its menu into wine, beer, and grilled cheese sandwiches in the afternoon. For variation, guests can try a black tea and lemon tonic as a tea-lover’s take on the drink." - Beth McKibben

Google
Service was friendly. Came in to get some work done and there were plenty of options to sit with outlets. Also outdoor seating. Ordered a yogurt bowl which was very tasty. WiFi worked very well

Google
YO PEOPLES TOWN COFFEE! This biscuit looks like something out of a fairy tail. Simply put: friendly faces, great coffee, and GIANT biscuits. P.S. the biscuit tasted as good as it looked! Much Love <3

Google
The coffee at People Town Coffee House was absolutely amazing, and the place itself is lovely and inviting. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the incredible service from an African American cook who went above and beyond to take care of us. He was so kind and sweet, and his hospitality made us feel right at home. On top of that, he made a delicious egg biscuit sandwich and an incredible berry yogurt bowl—both were out of this world. We can’t wait to come back for another visit. Highly recommend this spot for the food, coffee, and exceptional service!

Google

Google
Very cute niche coffee bar, had an espresso tonic that was yummy! Love the eclectic options!

Google
Absolutely love this gem of a coffee shop. Walking distance from the Beltline and DH Stanton park, this place has amazing coffee and somehow even better food. Their sandwiches are god-tier, some of the flakiest biscuit sandwiches and amazing grill cheese offerings. The service is notch and I end up seeing at least one of the founders during most of our visits which pretty much shows the passion they have for this place. They also have a good selection of beers, seltzers or wines if that is more of your speed. Absolutely recommend this place!

Google
Coming from out of town and needed some good breakfast food and coffee. Came upon this place and totally worth it ! Got the breakfast biscuit but swapped it out for a bagel and was absolutely delicious. Also ordered a lavender latte with oat milk. Was a bit sweeter than anticipated but once I gave it a good mix , it balanced out pretty well with my bagel! The cafe overall is super spacious, very aesthetically pleasing and the bathrooms were super clean! Staff was super sweet , overall loved it here!

Google
Staff and crew is always super attentive and seems to really care! Great bagels as most coffee shops lack that! Always good coffee and lots of free parking!

Yelp
Stopped here to kill some time after the airport and do a little work. The staff is mad chill and friendly. I got the Cold Brew Concoction and a breakfast biscuit. Honestly, the best cold brew I've ever had! Plus, the biscuit was really good - don't skip on adding the pesto to it!

Yelp
My hairstylist recommended this coffee bar to try after one of my appointments and I'm glad I did! I ordered a turkey bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich with a London fog latte, and both were delicious! I cannot tell you the last time I went somewhere that actually offered other meat alternatives such as turkey bacon, as well as made it with scrambled eggs opposed to the egg patty most places serve. And at other places, depending on the barista, the London fog is usually a hit or miss. Maybe I'm not hip to many quality coffee shops in the city, because I'm usually not this impressed. However, People's Town Coffee Bar got everything right. I had a wonderful experience. The service, food, and drink were 10/10! I will be visiting again.

Yelp
I wish this cafe was closer to me because I would've loved to come here more often to work. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, as well as free wifi and wall outlets. They have an extensive coffee and food menu, so it's perfect for anyone who needs to stay there for an extended period of time to get stuff done. They also have a cute couch area to the side and high top seating by big windows to let in plenty of natural light. Also free parking so that's a plus!

Yelp
Finally got to visit this coffee when I was on a walk with my husband and dogs. Easily accessible from the Beltline, which is perfect once this portion is paved. Tons of street parking and looks to have a private lot behind ad well. It is located at the bottom of an apartment building. It was plenty spacious and loved the bar area. They also serve wine, sandwiches in the afternoon. I ordered a 16 oz lavender latte ($6.75) with almond milk (forgot how much this was) plus 20% tip, which cost me $10. Yeah it's quite pricey but isn't everything else nowadays? Pick up was at the bar area outside. Overall, cool place and would love to actually enjoy the ambiance one of these days.

Yelp
Chai was good and the bagel was just okay. Service was a-ok and it was a great place to find a comfy couch and get some work done! I'll come back!

Yelp
A nice spot to hang out for a quick coffee or work. I love that they offer a variety of grilled cheese sandwiches! We ordered the vanilla latte and the Italian cookie latte. The lattes did not have much flavor, and the espresso overpowered the flavoring.

Yelp
The inside is bigger than I thought. I ordered the Seasonal Ginger Latte and it is the absolute best! I waited quite a bit for my order but the barista checked in with me and made sure I was taken care of. I also tried the Cold Brew, Lavender Latte, and the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Bagel. I wanted it on a biscuit but they were sold out. Everything was delicious. I'm pretty sure what ever you order you won't be disappointed! I'll be coming back to enjoy the coffee and try the breakfast biscuit.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this coffe house after sadly being disappointed going to a bakery that said they were open but closed upon arrival. People's Town coffee bar is in a new developed part of Atlanta , with new homes and apartments being bulrit along with yoga facilities such as Dancing Dogs yoga and Sacred Yoga if you want to grab coffee then yoga or the other way around. So Zach who is one of the owners was kind enough to chat with me while making my mocha with Valrhona chocolate , very gourmet, a little tidbit about me volunteer at the Northwest chocolate festival so I have become somewhat of a chocolate snob and this is gourmet chocolate!! The coffee is local , one of the coffees beans used is local , Portrait Coffee, other coffee Methodical comes in a cool bag with artwork done by artist Annie Koelle. And coffee by Toni. https://www.valrhona-chocolate.com Loose leaf tea out of Savannah, this is Zacks favorite place to travel to and the tea is by https://www.haletea.com/ I also ordered a strawberry Pop-Tart and to my surprise I found that this local coffee shop supports another coffee shop who has a bakery named hodgepodge bakery. Street parking , plenty of seating on nice velvet emerald green chairs, yeah my birth color !! We were honored to have stumbled upon this 5 week old coffeehouse and to have met the wonderful Zach who provided such great service, as I head out with drinks in hand by Tip Top cocktails in cute little cans how could I say No to this cute drink to go, also local. Bye for now

Yelp
Among the best coffee shops in Atlanta. Good vibe, great espresso drinks, very dog friendly. Friendly service and usually pretty quick as well.

Yelp
Came here on their 3rd day open. The opening of this coffee shop has been much anticipated by the neighborhood, and it did not disappoint. The staff and owners are so nice, Wi-Fi is high-speed which, along with its ample seating options across about 10 tables, 2 counters with chairs, and a large sofa, make Peoples Town Coffee a great spot for remote work. The espresso drinks are equally as impressive. Highly recommend: -Cortado -Maple Latte (not overly sweet like at some places!)

Yelp
Great coffee and friendly service. The pastries are also a treat. I recommend stopping by if you're in the area. They also have some events they just during the week like weekly Trivia night on Sunday. I haven't been but hope to soon.

Yelp
The outside seating has a cool atmosphere, but the coffee is mediocre. Service was quick; I didn't have any food.

Yelp
Fellow Door Dashers, avoid this place. They do NOT tip. Last week I shopped for Peoples Town Coffee - I went out of my way to make sure I got the replacements they requested. They ordered so many heavy items that I had to use a wagon to carry it in. And then I drove away earning $6.99 only from DoorDash.

Yelp
Awesome atmosphere! Super nice people! Italian Sugar Cookie Latte brought me back to my childhood. Not too sweet and perfectly balanced. Bagel and lox was light and jalapeño bagel was fresh!!! Def recommend for anyone in the area!

Yelp
Definitely one of my favorite coffee shops. Great place to work or read. Decor is nice! Barista are cool as hell and the drinks and food are amazing!

Yelp
Great atmosphere, great bakery items and coffee/tea options! Service is wonderful and the space is gorgeous!!

Yelp
Very cute new coffee shop in this area, great inside and when the weathers nice going to be a place to hang with the pup, have a coffee or a beer. First time here had the vanilla latte, it was on fire!! Come back for another one, but this time they didn't put vanilla in it. Still a great latte, and the yogurt parfait made up for the latte.

Yelp
Genuinely the best coffee shop I've been to in Atlanta. 30 second walk from the Beltline, excellent coffee, great vibe, killer people. The breakfast biscuit is excellent and could be split 3 ways, and that bougie poptart is unreal. smart of them to outsource the baked goods to such an awesome local vendor.

Tina A.

Yelp
Kind of off the beaten path but once you get there you're somehow right near the belt line...plenty of space for remote working or hanging out with groups...not much variety for snacks but the chocolate chip banana bread was popping after being heated up well...coffee was on the better tasting side and barista made an effort to act like he cared ...bonus points for effort...has two rooms and functional outdoor space so you can choose what's best for you.

Yelp
This is a great new addition to the Grant Park / Peoplestown neighborhood! I love the open space, lots of seating, service and the coffee is delicious! The staff was also super friendly towards my friend's puppy, and allowed us to sit inside! Great vibes, and I'll definitely be coming back here to try the well-rated lavender latte :)

Yelp
We live in Peoples Town and this is the perfect place for your morning coffee or to do work. We walk here a couple times a week with our pups and get a cup of coffee and sometimes stay and sit outside on the patio. I'm not a huge coffee girl, but I love it here. They also have a greet and friendly team and some tasty treats.

Bear T.

Yelp
So glad I finally checked out this space right of the beltline. Perfect spot to just grab a treat but also plenty of room to work or read. Customer service was fantastic. Latte was delicious.

Joel L.

Yelp
People's Coffee bar is a great spot! They serve Methodical Coffee out of Greenville and ATLs Portrait (both quality roasters). The Baristas and owner were very friendly and hardworking. The shop is clean, great lighting, and an overall good vibe. Their outdoor space was closed due to the rain, but plenty of seating inside. The location is more of an up-and-coming part of Atlanta, right next to the Beltline. In a few years this will be a great location.

Vanya P.

Yelp
Very good coffee - have had multiple coffee beverages and even a matcha and they're top notch. The biscuit sandwiches (maybe weekend only?) are SO good. Lots of space, friendly to laptop work, clean bathrooms, and good amount of parking (also for bikes!). Oh, and the team here is super lovely and seem to care a lot about everyone enjoying their experience.

Feign K.

Yelp
I was visiting Atlanta for the weekend, and stopped here! Staff was so friendly and warm I had a double espresso and a drip coffee, and my friend ordered the seasonal spiced maple latte iced with oat milk. The espresso was well dialed! Best shot I've had in a long time, and definitely the best I had in Atlanta during my trip. I neglected to ask what coffee was on the bar, but it was sweet and delicate with a little bit of fruit on the back end/aftertaste. Loved it! The drip was so good too! I love when a shop cares enough to get the flavor correct on drip coffee. It's a little bit of effort that goes a long way The iced spiced maple latte, that I stole a few sips of was also amazing. Flavors were all so well balanced! You can tell they really care. The space itself is inviting with nice lights and comfy bar chairs. It's easy to just grab and go or enjoy yourself for a few inside. Highly recommend this place and their team of EXCELLENT baristas
