"Homemade Pasta and Italian Classics There are times when only a bowl of pasta will do, and those are the times to head straight for Pepe Nero, with its romantic orange-tree courtyard for alfresco eats and warren of more-intimate dining rooms. Note, the latter can sometimes feel a bit cut off from the main hub, so it’s arguably a better summer jaunt, but you can’t knock the food. Chef Khalid Robazza Essafa makes all his own pasta. The roast veal agnolotti (stuffed pasta squares similar to ravioli) is sensational, asis the lasagnaand theeggplant Parmesan. The king prawn risotto has earned Essafa a devoted, local fan base, although out-of-towners have been known to rave about his tandem Moroccan menu, too."
We visited Pepe Nero Marrakech twice during our stay, and both experiences were absolutely fantastic! The food was exquisite, the atmosphere elegant yet welcoming, and the service truly exceptional. A special thank you to Mr. Toufik and the entire team for their warm hospitality and impeccable attention to detail. Every dish was a delight, and we felt genuinely cared for each time we came. Highly recommended — we can’t wait to return!

This is a restaurant that is worth the trip to, even though it is an Italian, the Moroccan menu they offer is fabulous. Pigeon pie for starters is one of the nicest dishes I’ve had in a long time. Make the reservation in advance so you get a table by the pool.

My partner and I both got food poisoning after eating here. The food poisoning lasted a full week. It was horrible. We had the caprese salad, ravioli, mushroom linguine and tiramisu. So so disappointing especially given the price point. There were also so many dead fruit flies on our table when we got seated and many flies everywhere during our meal. I would not recommend at all.

Great serene place for a fancy dinner with jazz music and a glass of wine. About 35% of the menu card is available as gluten free. Portions quite small but the taste is good and presentation as well. We spent about 850 dirham for two persons with a shared starter.

Really enjoyed our experience at Pepe Nero. Mohammed and Simo made the experience very special for my dads 60th birthday. It was such a charming view.
Make sure to book in advance to receive a table in the main area. They did their best to accommodate us.
The mushroom truffle pasta was very good. The beef tagine was very good. The herb crusted lamb was ok but could have used a little more of the sauce/vegetable.
They brought out a cake for my dads birthday and the cake was delicious. Truly made the night special.

Sincerly, the only restorant I’ve enjoyed the food on its pure taste, no spicy, no erbs, just an authentic italian taste. Highly recommanded for everyone who has taste concerns (just like me). The staff very kind, the service excellent and the prices very sodisfacting! I had an amazing dinner! ❤️❤️❤️

Amazing setting, wonderful quality food. Pepe Nero truly is a class act. Make sure to get a table by the pool. Our waiter was a real speed talker though, which was a bit annoying and felt out of place in this classy, serene setting. But other than that, a very, very nice experience and well worth the somewhat costly bill. Recommended.
