First off the food was fine for the price. Guess people forget everything costs money these days. The meat was not dry like stated in other reviews . In fact it was juice and had flavor. Something rare to find when everyone makes bland food to please the masses. The place was clean, but could use a refresh. The staff were nice and took care of us.

It was the first time I had been to Pepe's and won't be my last. The food I had was delicious. It was nice to eat some authentic Mexican food not from a "chain" restaurant. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The restaurant was clean and well kept. I highly recommend Pepe's Tacos.

Food are good especially the fish taco’s. The chicken burritos and Spanish rice are just average.We took our food to go and each time we come, I have to ask for Salsa and other condiments 🤷🏻‍♀️. Staff are friendly. Mask is required and they offer hand sanitizer before you fall in line. I have ate here a few more times and so far the fish tacos are consistent. These are my favorite fish tacos. I’ve tried Frijoles and it’s not as good compared to this place. Their fish tacos is meaty about three slices of fish fillet and a half of avocado yumm. I recommend this place if you love fish tacos like me.

Been to Pepe's tons of times and have ordered asada fries over and over. NEVER have I received an order where I can see the fries. Absolutely no care in the order. My rolled tacos were dry as the desert we live in. I will never be back to this location. Boulder highway location is even better than this one. $85 down the drain

I had a burger at a Mexican restaurant, it was cool. Now the service, very poor and suspect, im waiting for my order at my table, like everyone. The person In the picture would bring the food to their table. Well, my order is ready and the now the process has changed, he says my number, waves ,and sits my food on the counter.

Bit pricey but it's clean meat. My Lengua and cabeza tacos were not oily or greasy. Around $3 each as specialty meat. Tacos needed salt. Birria burrito was $10.99. We got it to go.

Ordered the chili verda with no rice. Was very happy with it. However, it was too much for me to eat.

Service was friendly and suggesting. The prices were a little high for the quality of food and compared to its competitors ( Robert's, Don Tortaco). The food was good, but nothing spectacular. I would go back for a quick bite.

I've had a lot of great experiences here and the food's always been really good. It's the same every time perfect. I thought this was a great location until today. I'm saddened to see that Buffalo wild wings is taking over. Good times were had but all the good times will never be forgotten thank you.

Food: My wife and I ordered their birria tacos and lengua burrito. The birria meat was painfully lacking in flavor and the consomé was very diluted and tasted like poorly flavored water. The lengua seemed a bit undercooked and also lacks flavor, seasoning, and spices. Service: Cashier was very friendly and helpful. I had a few questions and the lady was kind in answering all of them. Food was served in a timely manner considering there was only one chef working in the kitchen. Environment: When we walked in it smelled of the cleaning solution you'd use to clean the bathrooms in a gas station. The tables and bathroom walls have been severely vandalized with scratches and markings everywhere. Overall thoughts: I would recommend to try other places. The location of this restaurant is prime with easy access and the restaurant is easily seen from the incoming traffic. This place has so much potential to be a top spot in Vegas especially being a 24 hour restaurant, but it needs significant changes. The owners should invest more into the taste of the meat, maintain their restaurant environment, and quit being cheap with their food. All the food and sauces are so diluted and lacks any unique flavor.

I was driving down Rainbow looking for Mexican food. Saw this and looked at pictures that made it seem like they had a salsa bar. After I ordered, I noticed that the salsa bar was empty. I guess they never brought it back after the pandemic. Not only that, but when I asked for salsa, the containers were super small, have filled and they were stingy with the amount they would give. My chicken soft taco was tiny. The tortillas were 4 inch. The rice and beans were okay. My only other real taco shop experience here in town is with Roberto's. They do have a salsa bar, there soft tacos are big with a lot more ingredients. They aren't the best but I prefer them over Pepe's any day of the week. To tease me with an empty salsa bar plus making me practically beg for the little containers is a no go for me.

Beware of small burritos for $10 dollars this price gouging for little food is getting out of control. Alberto's burritos are worth $10 .

If we could give this restaurant a minus for taste, services, false advertisement, I would definitely do so. We don't recommend this awful restaurant.

Decent. Clean meats, just add salt. $3 taco, $10.99 burrito. A bit pricey. I do appreciate clean or non-greasy/oily meats. It's just a different simple style. But I do crave flavor too. Their green sauce was a bit plain too. Overall, I can see if someone could think this place is too plain. Something we can make at home. Most ppl eating out like to buy food not easily made at home. So I'm conflicted by 3 or 4 stars. Good for anyone specially looking for clean eating. Which my stomach does appreciate too. But may go to next door to La Bonita market for tacos instead.

The Tacos were really good and I don't make food menudo so to me their menudo was so much better than mine . Everything was great except I ordered carne asada tacos assuming the price listed is the price of the taco but when I looked at the receipt they charge 30 cents extra per taco if it's carne asada . It's not much but I like full transparency when it comes to where my money is going . Still going back because the tacos are tasty AF

Terrible and rude service. Got their supposed "best asada tacos in Vegas." Asada was dry and over cooked. Only thing worse than the food were the work employees. Food took forever and there was no line. Then when we finally got it she has a smug and rude attitude.

the birria tacos could improve more and they could make the meat less dryer this place sucks and it can smd they have lost a costumer of 5 years and more for this the tacos here tasted awful and the tortilla was stale on the birria taco

Nah. See, if you're charging me $15 for some carne asada nachos, you better put REAL CHEESE on this. This nacho cheese sauce stuff is an abomination to Mexican food and you should be ashamed to be serving it. MMMMM soggy nachos, great. The meat is cut up so fine, that when I take a bite, it's all dried out. And where is the pico de gallo? This is a major fail, I'd have gone back and given this back if I didn't have to go to work. Failure on every level. These chips look suspiciously store bought too............ Just saying. Better off ordering "nachos" from Taco Bell, they'll deliver a better tasting product. Super? These nachos are not.

Pepe's Taco located off Rainbow and Flamingo is a taco place where I usually get my burritos. So in other words, I been here a few times. Location wise, you can see it driving down Rainbow. Parking wise, you got plenty of parking. The place is a good size place and decent for a taco shop. The lady who took our order was nice and very friendly. We usually order our usual burrito supreme, since it's a good size burrito. Also comes with nachos, so that's a plus. I would say, when it's not busy, food will probably be ready in 5 minutes. When we went more on a busier day, it may take 10 minutes. But they do their best to get your order to you as quickly as they can. But overall, not a bad taco shop and a place I would recommend if you're in the area.

Bought 5 burritos, 1 taco and 1 quesidilla, it cost $83.42. I paid extra for lettuce and sour cream in one of the burrito and NOTHING! They forgot to put it in! PAY ATTENTION! YOU'LL CONTINUE TO LOSE CUSTOMERS.

Pepes tacos is 20 min away from the strip but if your hungry in the middle of the night and want some mexican food this is the place to come to they open 24 hours. I came in and tried the tacos and they were good but they have much more on their menu to choose from. I also like that everything is priced reasonable so if you on a budget in vegas this is a good place to visit. (FOOD) I've had a LOT of carne asada fries in my life and this place claims they have the BEST carne asada fries in Las Vegas. The price was also a whopping FOURTEEN god damn dollars??!! WTF. IS THE COW MASSAGED AND FED GOLD BEFORE YOU THREW IT ON THE FRIES??? I expected the HOLY GRAIL of asada fries. The MAGNUM OPUS of skirt steak and potatoes. The MOONLIGHT SONATA of papas fritas con asada. But NO. I was met with UTTER DISSAPOINTMENT. If you are one of those reviewers who said it's the "BEST CARNE ASADA FRIES" you need to get your head out of your ASS, leave the state, and TRAVEL, you uncultured swines. I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt, and to be honest it was not HORRIBLE, but my expectations were so sky high the results nearly destroyed my reasoning for existence. I can no longer cope with reality as to why such an ordeal exists. As if the price was not OUTRAGEOUS enough. I am god damn ashamed to even be in Vegas right now. If this is the best this city's got I might as well burn it to the ground. What an embarrassment. 14 bucks for a scoop of sour cream, guac, and a bunch of fries smothered with cheap ass nacho cheese. I know they said it doesn't come with pico de gallo but why the F*CK not?! I can get a SUPERIOR product in CA and for under TEN god damn dollars. This place looks good outside but not inside. No guests around eating or dining. I ordered combo burrito and super burrito and costs me more than $28 it took a long and they just wrapped it in a foil and a small bag, nothing on the side. I will not recommend this place to anyone because after I ate that burrito I got diarrhea and stomach ache.

I've been loyal to this Pepe's Tacos location for the past couple of months, and its never failed me. Pepe's has hands down BEST Carne Asada Fries in Vegas. I've tried many food trucks, restaurants, even Roberto's Tacos asada fries and none compare... even outside of Vegas. The fries are thick, the asada is well marinated and flavorful, the avocado and sour cream are perfect, and there is plenty of cheese. I see a lot of complaints about the asada fries in the reviews, and it's absolutely mind boggling to me. Pepe's always has their carne asada cooked to perfection. If you expect more toppings, you aren't appreciating the star of the show: the meat. I'm very picky on my meat, but Pepe's knows exactly what they're doing. BTW- portions are MASSIVE for the fries!!! Expect to share OR have left overs. Another go-to of mine is their pozole. I've been on a kick, craving the nostalgia of a bowl of pozole in the winter time. They've definitely exceeded my expectations. A "bowl" is probably 3 times larger than a "cup". The broth is fantastic and the meat is always SO tender. Also, I can never leave without an horchata. This location does refills! Only once or twice very late in the night has the horchata tasted watered-down to me. I usually do take-out. During dinner time there is about a 10 min. wait on food, depending on the size of the order. Take-out soup comes with toppings bagged on the side. For my pozole I usually have to ask for lime. I believe you get 2 sauces at no extra cost with your meal. Their verde is SO good! The food is incredible at Pepe's! Always hot and fresh, big portions (MONEYS WORTH FOR SURE!). The restaurant is clean, staff is welcoming, and FOOD IS BUSSIN'!

Ordered 8 carne asada tacos for $30 and they refuse to give us the normal condiments that go along with. They only gave us 4 slivers of lime and when we asked for more, they laughed and said no. I used to frequent this place since it's close to home but certainly will never come back. Absolutely rude woman running the shop would make anyone lose their appetite.

Super crowded & busy, which would normally be a good sign. Sadly, not so for our first experience. We ordered a wet carne asada burrito, nachos, and taquitos. The wet carne asada burrito was cold. The nachos were just a half full take out box of chips and a bowl of cheese. The taquitos were decent. They charge a fee for using your credit card & the cashier forgot to mention it. We'll try a different location if we decide to give them another shot. This one might have been overly busy/had a lack of experienced employees. ‍

DO NOT COME HERE. This is by far the worst carnitas burrito I have ever had. Not only was it over priced the burrito was basically all meat & the quality was terrible. Grease & tendons with every bite. Honestly I can't believe this place is still in business. Do not waste your money.

When there food was OKAY service, NO SERVICE well cashier was NICE but to be honest this place is overpriced for what it is. I had the chicken enchiladas, there were 2 little ones, I left hungry. Therefore probably never go back, fact is I will NOT GO BACK.

While shopping around my coworker and I stopped in here for lunch. Happy vr never eaten here before and was feeling the mood for some tacos. Walking in, place looked clean, I noticed the park like picnic tables in the dining area, which I thought was unique. I ordered the Al pastor taco plate and my coworker had the carne asada fries. The wait for the food didn't take too long, which is good because we were hungry. The tacos had good flavor though it didn't come out hot. I felt like it was sitting on a make table and put together. I tried the rice and beans but after a couple bites, there was a slight after taste that I couldn't finish the rest of my meal. I tried a bite of the carne asada fries and it was tasty, perhaps if I come again, I'll order that instead. I think the horchata was refreshing that I went back for a small refill. I should mention that the service was ok, the cashiers were nice & friendly. If you decide to try this place out, I hope you have a better experience. Enjoy. :)

Terrible! Carne asada quesadilla was so greasy, that the plate absorbs the oils. Taquitos greasy as well. Beans taste like old and probably package made. The entire restaurant is full with signs about extra cost for sauces; not to throw away drinks in trash... where else could I throw them away??? When the aguas frescas are fake flavors. NO Napkins anywhere. I made a mess and tried to clean it, but there is no napkins to be found. Restrooms are closed too! Never returning. My first and last time at this place

great service, decently priced and average food. the workers keep the place very clean and there's plenty of seating area, food was alright but not the best i've ever had, so i'd say average place!

I have driven passed this restaurant so many times and I finally got to try it. Food and service were great. Saw the sign that they voted "best carne asada fries in Las Vegas". Decided to give it a try. They use steak fries and nacho cheese instead of thin fries and shredded cheese like most places. It's super heavy and you might have a hard time finished it. Taste was delicious and I can see how they win. Got their fish taco and carne asada taco on top of the fries. Man. Totally under estimate their portion size. I was only able to eat the fish taco. It was fried in perfection and love all the slaw on top of it. I would have to say one of the best fish taco I had ever had. Will sure come back just to get that. There are so many things on their menu. I will be sure to come back and try on their other things.

The food is good but $17 for 3 tacos with rice and beans is ridiculous. No wonder no one's ever really in here anymore.

Overpriced!!! $12.00 for a burrito and you have to pay extra if you want pico de gallo!! This place used to be always packed, long lines, because the food is good but now is too pricey, i used to love eating here but I can't afford it anymore, hey Don Jose, If you have noticed a decrease in traffic it's because you're losing your base clientele, don't forget who made you as big as you are in Las Vegas. You have become overpriced and your portions have gotten smaller!!

I love this place because they are 24 Hours and have great Carne Asada Tacos and Awesome fries. They are very friendly and fast service. They are so much better then Roberto's which is right across the street. 5 STARS!!!! Highly Recommend.

Pepe's tacos has decent food, and I love the fact that they're open 24 hours. However, their service is horrible every time I go there. Even though the restaurant is empty, they seem very stressed out with their job. Coming from LA, I thought this was the closest LA Street style tacos with their red salsa... but man,, can they improve their service ? Ambiance is ok just like typical taco places...

I was craving Pasole and this place was the first recommendation. It's open 24/7, the food is delicious, overall my tastebuds were sooo happy cus I was craving Mexican food

My son and I have said for a while we wanted to check this place out . I was waiting on an appointment , so I gave it a try . I got 2 Chicken Tacos , with Fries , Chips , and a little Beans . The food was okay , nothing special . The fries were hot and they put some seasoning on them . They put too much cilantro on the Chicken Tacos , so I had to take some off . They have a salsa bar and I used the red salsa . The inside was okay with some cool pictures , but it was a little warm inside making it a little uncomfortable . The staff was nice , but I probably won't come again . Nothing wrong with the place , just average .

I went here on recommendation and the tacos were just okay. I did appreciate the fact that they gave two tortillas. I had a taco plate with asada, birria and Al pastor tacos. The best was the Al pastor one in terms of taste. The chips for my refried beans were soggy and the rice was super mushy. I will probably not return to this location again.

Rudest staff in the WHOLE city...I am truly baffled by the audacity of the night staff. I have come to this location for over 8 years and the service was never ONCE this horrible. Twice now, my friends and I have come to this location and the people working have been absolutely disgustingly rude. Just people it doesn't look like I can speak Spanish, doesn't mean I I can't speak Spanish. Also, they claim to have "the best carne asada fries in Las Vegas" and that's....a false claim Anyways, you would never be treated this poorly by anywhere else in this city--Pepe's tacos is garbage and their service finally matches it.

I ordered a soft taco plate and found a hair in the rice. I took my plate and showed an employee whom I guess was the manager and he was like "Oh" took the plate showed the cooks who were not wearing hair nets, left me there standing at the counter. He didn't offer any apologies or a refund! So be careful with your food..!!

Been coming here for 10+ years with varying results. Most of the time, the food is very good. Today (Monday) I walked in at 1pm and ordered a Combination Burrito (Asada). It was quite possibly one of the freshest, most delicious burritos I've ever had. I quite literally could have eaten 2 of them and I considered ordering a second one. Not to say the burritos are "small", but I was very hungry and the food was exceptional. The tall, thin, lighter-skinned dude was the one who took my order and cooked my food (I believe) so kudos to him. The service was good. Almost nobody in there on a Monday afternoon. The green salsa is literally TO-DIE-FOR. The red sauce is excellent as well but it's a bit spicier and tends to give me heart burn. If you order "eat-in", they give you chips with your food. On the taco plate, I believe they also give you refried beans but I'm not 100% sure on that. I haven't been able to come here very often anymore with my demanding work schedule but I think I'll start trying to make this place a regular lunch or dinner spot if the food continues to be as good as it was today. Better to come here in the day as opposed to night (in my experience) but it's usually pretty damn good at night as well. Next time I'll post a photo.

I usually go to the other location which I never had problems but this one it seems like the quality of food is not as fresh. I got food poisoning here yesterday. The beans I could tell were reheated multiple times and dry and the carne was super oily. Got me pretty sick.

This place smells nasty, I went inside trying to order the food but I had to go out si since the funky smells. I never visited another place with that smell before. I went to the cashier and when I turned back on my way to the door the ladies in the cashier counter started laughing. Very disappointed experience.

Customer service is always great! Cashier smiles and help you with menu choices . Carne asada fries are always hot fresh and so so good !! This specific location gets all the stars !

This place stinks like mop water smell. Every table/bench is dirty This place needs to sanitized the whole building. Health department should take an unannounced visit. Food is good but dark skinned cashier assume what you like and never ask sbout you like for example beef or chicken. She'll assume you like beef so she'll put that order in. She doesn't listen to non-spanish speaking customers. And she likes you to order fast she wont give you time.

They once made the best carne Asada fries but each of their locations have gone downhill in recent years. Their asada meat servings are more fatty than before, fries have no taste, and guacamole and sour cream portions are so minimal. Worse, the order with a drink comes out to $15. It's not worth it. I hope they turn it around and go back to what gave them the, "Best Carne Asada Fries in Las Vegas" nomination.
