Pepita in the USA

Their menu has no prices, but their food truck does. $16 meals and "Drinks are always $2" so it says. We go the mazorcado with chicken; chicken was dry but the rest was okay. The 5 soft tacos were not impressive. They were lacking substance and they leave you still hungry. Both meals were $16 per the food truck writing We also got the "juice" which actually turned out to be a berry smoothie. As it was on the menu under "Drinks" without any special notes about different prices, we assumed that would be $2 as the ONLY listed drink price was "Drinks are always $2" Only when I asked the guy taking orders why our total was $48 for 2 meals/2 Drinks did he tell us that the drinks were actually $8 EACH. When I asked why it wasn't a $2 drink per their Only listed price, he did not have an answer. The drink was good, but I would not have ordered it had I known the price. Either have the prices listed or don't, but don't list prices for "all" things that don't actually apply to all things. I do not like feeling mislead and for that reason on principle alone I would not recommend this place or eat here again.

I don’t know why the prices are not listed on the menu. Is it because most people in CB are rich so they don’t care about how much things cost? ** For the record: Arepas cost $16.00. I really wanted to love my chicken Arepa, but it was just a lot of chicken and no vegetables. The menu said it came with green peppers and onions (Maybe I misunderstood that?) On the positive side, the service is very fast and friendly. I guess the takeaway here is: ask questions ?

I really enjoyed the chicken ranch. Arepa and my partner got the five tacos with mixed fillings! I also got the mango aqua Fresca and absolutely loved it. So tasty and refreshing on a hot day. I thought the service was great and everyone was really friendly and kind.

me and my mom came here because we wanted to try the food. First of all the prices are not clear and you can’t tell how much is everything. Secondly, It was the worst food we’ve tried in town. We got 2 arepas and you can barely taste all the other stuff in there because it has a lot of cheese. we got 2 of them and in one of them the moment I took it out of the aluminum foil there was a red hair on top and then we cut it in half and there was also another one right in the arepa. I wouldn’t recommend this place and would go here again.

Absolutely awful experience. First and most importantly, my daughter has a soy allergy, which we communicated to the staff. But surprise: no one spoke English. At all. We had to use a translation app just to explain the allergy, and they still assured us their tacos were soy-free. Within three bites, my daughter started swelling up. Completely unacceptable and incredibly dangerous. As for the food? My husband and I couldn’t even eat ours. It was disgustingly greasy and completely drowned in cheese, and we actually love cheese. Everything just tasted like cheese and oil. We ended up throwing it all in the trash. I’ve lived in Colorado for 41 years, and this was hands down the worst meal I’ve ever had. And their so-called “chorizo”? Just sad, basically bland sausage links cut into little pieces. What a joke. I regret spending $60 on a meal that was barely edible and almost sent my daughter to the ER. Save your money and your health and eat literally anywhere else.

Yum!! Food is delicious. Fast friendly service. Great place to grab a quick bite.
