"Pepper Lunch is billed as a Japanese fast-casual teppan restaurant, where diners cook the meats to their preferred temperature on personal-sized iron platters heated to a balmy 500 degrees. Diners will order from a counter, and the sizzling platter gets delivered to the table. The menu includes steaks like an angus sirloin, plus the restaurant’s signature “pepper rice,” a vegetable and rice dish mixed with beef, eel, or salmon." - Carla Vianna

They serve delicious pepper rice & tender steaks serve on the sizzling plate (just be careful of the 500 Fahrenheit hot plate). How to eat? You need to mixed everything plus some sauce by your self on the hot plate. The place is spacious & clean. Staff are nice. But the order station were too close to entrance door. But overall there are the best Japanese pepper rice in the city. ❤️ ❤️

Pepper Lunch just opened up last week. The food here is pretty good. You order and pay for your food and you take your seats. Then they bring out your food on hot cast iron plates. You turn over your meat and control the coooking rate yourself. It was kind of fun. The wait time was minimal and the service was great. The choice of sauce selection was nice too. I highly recommend asking for the onion and pepper sauce that usually comes with the salad. Worth checking out and would definitely come back here again.

I found this place a year ago and have been coming back ever since. I always get the kimchi cheese beef pepper rice. It tasted amazing and the cheese pull is insane! I love how I love how great it looks in photos and videos. You can also customize the toppings with a little extra charge. The food here is also reasonably priced and the workers are really nice!

Really good chain for some sizzling food. Lots of rice and decent portion of meat. Probably could use a bit more. Quick service. Food tasted pretty good. You can add additional garlic, sit sauce, or other spices to your plate. Just order at the front and sit down wherever and they'll bring the food to you.

I love pepper lunch! I tried their kimchi cheese, sirloin steak and sukiyaki. All were so tasty. The combination of the sizzling steak, rice, and sauce are so comforting.

Good food. String beans were pricey ($4) for the portion size, same goes to the "large" salad ($7). Leaving a review because I was impressed by the Japanese toilet, nice warm seat that felt amazing. Definitely try the bathroom when you are there. And the sambal pepper rice.

Such a great place to enjoy your meal! Very nice and attentive staffs and the service is very good. The food is so tasty and affordable. It’s served on a hot pan and you can cook your meal as you like it to be. Very recommended!

Decently priced grill your own steak style sit down meal. Depending on what additional toppings you'd like, the price tag can go from $$ to $$$ real fast. Definitely a good portion size with the rice addition. No need for instructions as they have TVs on display that loops the different ways you can go about cooking the food. Highly recommend the sirloin over the rib eye if you dont want to wait too long for your meat to cook!
