Came for lunch. Got the mixed spicy dry pot special. Great flavor and balanced spice, will ask for extra spicy next time for my personal preference. I really thought the portion was very good for the value. I’ll be back for the extra spicy dry pot.

Google
Absolutely terrible! In every sense of the word service vibes food and I mean you go to a restaurant to eat right food was the worst but let me tell you a bit about the service walked in at 8:30. Something asked for a menu was not informed that the establishment close at 9 PM on a Saturday night well after being seated and treated as if we were inconveniencing their night which now I understand because I had no idea they closed at nine. Had I known I would have not walked in at all the young man that took our order, never came back to ask how the food was if we needed anything nothing at Zero stars there absolutely horrible customer service. Now let’s get to the main part the food wow disgusting in the most respectful way I can put it. We ordered three different dishes and all three were just an edible that we had to get to go boxes just so it could look like we cared for the food.. Otherwise, I feel bad, but after thinking about how we were treated, yeah I hope the world realizes this place is not it. Like at all, not the food, not the service not the ambience. The restaurant itself it’s cute with the lighting, which reminds me we were sitting in the back of booth on the right hand side near the restrooms and the light where we were sitting at the table was turned off also before we walked out before 9 PM. I had to use the restroom to my surprise. The lights were already turned off. I will be reporting this to The health department at this was a dangerous and scary situation to be in my kid has ADHD and autism and this was absolutely unacceptable. He was extremely happy to be there and when the light turned off, he got frightened and again we were not able to relieve ourselves after our meal Just unacceptable. Unbelievable, disgusting behavior from the lady who brought our food out I said, excuse me, and she walked away She was right next to me so I know she heard me. The food was Worse than mediocre. With that attitude, service and come on the food being disgusting good luck lasting long, specially in that area!

Google
Can't say enough good about Pepper Twins. Had awesome hospitality and excellent food. We had 9 different dishes to our table and everyone was delicious and flavorful. We will be back

Google
One of my favorite restaurants. Never fails to hit the spot. We’ve tried many things but our go to dishes are their dry fried green beans, golden eggplant, spicy fried chicken cubes, and fish loves tofu. Today we tried their cumin lamb and will include this in our rotation now too. Staff is polite and quiet. They will quickly come fill your water and attend to your needs when asked. I’ve been coming here for years and will continue to dine in or order for pick up. They are BYOB and have a small corking fee.

Google
Very Authentic Chinese Sichuan Quisine! Always be the good choice when friends ask me to recommend traditional Chinese restaurant in Houston!

Google
This is one of my favorite spots in town now! Their food is absolutely amazing, very reasonably priced, and they have very nice service. I fell in love with their Hot & Sour Soup and the Combination Udon.

Kevin Wang

Google
Great place to try some spicy, mouth-numbing foods I would recommend the soup dumplings, green beans, pepper twins steak cubes, fried spicy chicken cubes (very mouth numbing) and their duck with steamed buns. Staff are a bit overwhelmed as they only have a couple servers to cover the entire room so service is slow, but friendly.

Blake P

Google
Finally was able to try this place and it didn’t disappoint. Cumin Lamb and green beans were a stand out for me. Boiled beef, pepper steak, orange chicken, Mapo tofu were all excellent too. We tried a bunch of dishes and all were great. Seemed like the traditional dishes were quite authentic from my limited time in China. The staff was very friendly and service was very fast.

Yelp
Pepper Twins is a place I go to when I want something different. They put a spin on classic dishes, and the most important part is that it tastes so good. The interior is classy and refined, with prompt service, wether you're dining in or ordering takeout. The Sichuan style dishes give that extra kick without being too overpowering. Though some dishes can leave a bit of a lingering spice, and I personally cannot handle spicy food haha. I personally love the sweet and succulent general tsao's chicken and the mixed fried rice. The Singapore rice noodles were also good, though I preferred the flavor and texture of the rice. The size of the shrimp used in the rice are huge, which is a welcome change. The other big positive is the price, for a generous portion size and numerous dishes, the pricing is more than reasonable. A great place to visit and revisit!

Yelp
This place is a classic. We order from here every other week. The take out is on point. That being said, you can order the same dish every so often the dish will come out different. For instance, I order the eggs and tomato and sometimes there is more tomato than egg. Sometimes the mapo tofu is spicy, sometimes not. I feel like you get more when you do take out but their menu inside is more expansive. Pretty empty inside usually but the food is always fast. Even if the food can differ, it is always good. They have high chairs and it is easy to bring a baby/stroller. Baby friendly: 5/5 Service:5/5 Food: 4.5/5

Yelp
I love love the orange beef ! The service is always a 10/10 and usually I get To Go but can't wait to dine in.

Yelp
Food was great! The spicy chicken cubes the spicy premium pork belly were great. The dan dan noodles were good, not amazing. However, the spicy soft shell crab was one of the best and most unique Chinese dishes I have had in the US. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Not a recent visit, yet still memorable. It's a smaller restaurant with a great impact in great food, friendly prompt service, cleanliness, and a good location that felt safe while eating lunch with my daughter.

Yelp
Pepper twins has been my go too off Kirby since Qin dynasty changed owners and fell off. Are used to go to Qin dynasty for about 20 years, but they really have dropped off in quality and cleanliness. So me and my girlfriend are very happy that we found pepper twins because they take quality and cleanliness pretty serious for the most part. I will admit today the table and the floors were very sticky. So Pepper twins get to it and clean those messy tables and dirty floors. Food: the lunch specials here are absolutely amazing. So far I've gotten the Mongolian beef and it has been top-notch. Actually today I tried the general sales chicken and that was equally as good. My girlfriend tried the Kung pow chicken, and the shrimp Kung pow as she shared both dishes with me. I will agree. Both of those are extremely good as well. The hot and sour soup is really good too. All dishes come served with White rice. The customer service top-notch as well. The food comes out in a timely manner, and all the waiters and waitresses here are very friendly. Keep it up guys and gals will continue to come here for lunch as far as I can tell because we really like this place.

Yelp
Lots of raving over the pepper twins I finally got to stop by here maybe I stopped at the wrong location. The food was standard, nothing over the top. General tso tofu - the sauce didn't really do anything for me it didn't drive me nuts or make my mouth water or make me want to eat more it was just a sauce it didn't have very much cake was a little bit bland and the tofu was a little bit tough so I wasn't super impressed. Walnut Shrimp - a tablet greasy for me again the sauce feel flat it wasn't sweet it wasn't sour it wasn't tangy it just was there was nothing spectacular about it the shrimp or a very nice size but overall I really wasn't super satisfied with the food. I've had much better at other places. Search for best Chinese food before you check out this place. I really wanted to like it and I was really hyping it up on the way over there but they just did not provide. The service was nice the food came out quickly.

Yelp
This place is hit or miss. Sometimes the things are way too spicy, but sometimes they're really good. I recommend the eggplant.

Yelp
Yosi is an amazing bartender, and the food is very good. I had the Hangover burger. I will definitely be back to this location. High energy and friendly service.

Yelp
First off, they give you one of those red circular bins of white rice. And they fill it up most of the way. And it's free. And you can refill. That in itself, is almost worth a 5 stars. Not many places do that anymore, so it was nice to have enough rice to eat your heart out. They have ample seating, and it has a modern-Asian feel to the store. Waiters are quick, kind, and get to the point, like most Asian restaurants. Ordered the Sauteed Lamb with Cumin, and although it was slightly pricey (around 18 for 1 item), it is enough to share with 2 people! Especially since rice is unlimited haha. The dish is mostly lamb, with some onion, green onion. Not any spicy peppers that are basically inedible, which is great. The lamb was slightly crispy, with a great crunch while maintaining a juicy inside. Definitely recommend it!

Yelp
Love this place for AUTHENTIC Chinese Food. This is the real stuff just like I would eat in Beijing. It's not your typical American Chinese food. My go-to here is the Cumin Lamb and the Green Beans. They never disappoint. Tonight we also ordered the Gyoza and Xiao Long Bao. The Gyoza were OK. The Xiao Long Bao were delicious. Be very careful removing them from the steamer. They tend to stick to the paper and rip open. Then you lose the soup. When you peel them away roll it into the spoon so you can save the soup. I really can't express how much I love this place when I am craving the flavors I had when I lived in Beijing. One day I'll expand and order other things, but for now I'll stick to my favorites. Service is good, and food is prepared and delivered fast. The inside is a big dining room with lantern style lamp shades. There are some cool large wooden horses by the front. Really cool design!

Yelp
We came for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The beef fried rice was good and interior spacious. Highly recommend their lunch special!

Yelp
The food is great - tried many things and no complaints! Love the duck and steamed buns as well as Mapo Tofu, the combination fried rice is good as well.

Yelp
The vegetables that accompany the meat dishes are fresh. I would recommend the phoenix chicken and the salt pepper shrimp

Yelp
Food was terrific, as always. Ordered online for pick up so didn't deal with staff and dine in experience.

Yelp
One of the best Chinese restaurants in town. Their vegetarian options are quite a few but I have my favorites and don't mind eating the same food over and over again, it is that tasty. Service is prompt and friendly. We got the chou mein, the dry- fried beans, and vegetable spring roll. The beans comes with rice. All hot and yummy. The beans is one of their specialty items. We requested for the chou mein with no egg, or, egg on the side. They won't do the egg on the side but they did take it off. With prices on the higher range, I did not see many customers on a Friday evening, so that way its good even for a date night.

Yelp
I don't have any pictures of the meal to post and I am deeply sorry for that because the visual presentation was stellar. The portions are big enough to share. I was on a business lunch so I refrained from taking pictures of my order which was the salt/ pepper shrimp w/ steamed rice and the Dry fried green beans. Both were absolute perfection. I was so taken by the freshness and flavor that I could not help myself and placed an order to go- salt/ pepper tofu. I will be running back to this place. They have several locations, but the location on Kirby is the place to go. I went during the week during lunch so it was moderately crowded. The service was on point. The server was a man of few words, but who needs conversation when the food speaks for itself. Show some love to this location. I know I am!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Our family are regulars at this delicious Sichuan restaurant. It's one of our favorite cuisines and out of all the Sichuan places we visited, Pepper Twins at Kirby delivers quality dishes with remarkable consistency. Everything was fantastic, but I especially recommend their Egg Yolk Eggplant and Tofu Beef stir fry. The restaurant was so sweet to offer my mom a mimosa on Mother's Day too.

Yelp
Really had to update since the previous review. The service: 3/5, pretty meh The bathroom: 1/5 borderline not clean The interior: 2/5, the floor is very dirty and we moved a table to fit someone sitting down; the floor was very nasty and it didn't look like there has been a cleaning in years. The food: 4/5, this is still the best Pepper Twins location in terms of flavor. The other locations don't even come close. Overall, would recommend for takeout and not much else.
google avatar

Andrea P.

Yelp
PEPPER TWINS OFF OF KIRBY IS WAY BETTER THAN Post oak location. Nothing compared the food was good but not as good as the kirby location. I got the same plates at both location and I did not enjoy it here at post oak like I did at Kirby location. Highly recommend driving 10-15min more out to the kirby location to enjoy your food better

Yelp
The food is delicious and the waitress very friendly highly recommend , I love the hot and sour soup.

Sunshine G.

Yelp
Food was good but disappointed as they missed my order for the crab puff and substituted it for goyza! I would have caught this but it was delivered by a third party so no recourse!
google avatar

Yelp
Still love this place. I don't usually order American dishes but was in the mood for some General Tsos - OMG the best I've maybe ever had. It's actually spicy!!! It's the spice I always hope for and never get. You've been warned if you're not a spice lover and typically enjoy General Tsos. And you've been enlightened if you're like me, always searching for that perfect spicy saucy crunchy chicken.

Yelp
Food is not bad, prices are reasonable, service is okay; yet, please don't make your beloved customers wait another 25 minutes at the restaurant to pick up a call-in order, Pepper Twins! An "additional" 10-minute wait time on an order placed online or over the phone is acceptable to me, but definitely not 25 minutes! Anyway, let's go over the three "Signature Dishes" that I had off of the "Specialty" menu. 1) Pepper Twins Chicken-a little spicy, tasted not bad but not impressive, which made me clueless what would make this a signature dish?! It was just bite-size chicken stir-fried with chopped red and green chili pepper and some Chinese spices...what's so big of a deal? *shrug* 2) Golden Eggplant- fried eggplant chunks coated with salty duck egg yolk, which however barely met my expectation. It was mushy and not crispy at all while the egg yolk sauce tasted pretty bland. I sure have had better eggplant with salty egg yolk somewhere else. 3) Osso Buco Pork Fore Shank- oh thank goodness! Finally this braised pork shank in reddish sweet and savory gravy made a true signature dish! The meat was not tender enough, but who cares?! Those melt-in-my-mouth layers of fat literally made me stop talking and keep on eating. Will I come back? Yes, for Osso Buco Pork Fore Shank. What would I recommend? Osso Buco Pork Fore Shank, Duh! LOL

Yelp
This was our first time trying this place, even though we've driven by it several times and never noticed it, it was recommended by my sister in law. I was kinda hesitant when we arrived, because the parking lot was empty, but then we realized it had just opened at 4:00, we arrived around 4:30. Our party was a total of 16. The waitress was so sweet, a bit overwhelmed at first, but she got our order down perfectly!! We all ordered a dish, not realizing they are family size servings, but the food was so delicious, we hardly had any leftovers. Some of the dishes I recall family members ordering: gyoza (pan fried dumplings), Chicken fried rice, Broccoli chicken, Spicy chicken, Happy Family, Pork belly, vegetable tofu soup, Mongolian beef, General Tso's Chicken.....everything was delicious!!! With all the food, plus drinks and some alcoholic beverages, the total price was less than we expected. We will DEFINITELY be back!!!

J H.

Yelp
I arrived at 2pm on a Saturday. Only 2 other tables of patrons. Ordered the gyoza. Waitress was very pushy to get my complete order placed. Ordered chicken fried rice, which came out at a very nice pace. My gyoza never came. I left after 30 minutes. The inside smell inside is disgustingly of sewer. The table and floor were sticky. I will never return. I was very disappointed.
google avatar

Paul S.

Yelp
HUGE disappointment. Worse than the rude waiter was the menu. Very limited choices with bizarre names. When you ask for a description you get a half ass grumpy indistinguishable answer, in other words you still have no idea what climbing the mountain pork is. The three soups offered are only family style and the Kirby location has a much more limited menu than the other locations, huh? Our group of five ordered 4 different dishes, the only vegetables served were green and red bell peppers and onions. With 1000s of great Chinese restaurants in this town, no need to go back and with only 4 other diners there my review can't be too critical or far off.

Yelp
Food was ok. Actually pretty good. But service. Man the service needs serious improvement. Waitress got the order wrong and really fought us on it. I know we didn't order what she brought us. Her justification was she repeated it back to us. And yes she repeated the order back. But the problem is what she repeated back wasn't what was brought out. She just kept saying "but I repeated it back to you". Argh! And I just knew she was going to mess it up too, because she didn't write it down. But it was only 3 items so I thought there was a chance it would be ok. However what confused her was that we were waffling on our 3rd choice and asking questions which was better etc. And I just knew that might confuse her since she wasn't writing it down. As I suspected, she zigged when she was suppose to zag. It's really just the attitude of fighting me so hard on it. The waitress also threw out our chopsticks onto the table from literally the table next to us. The chopsticks slid halfway across the table. She was walking away but then came over and apologized, which was nice of her. She probably forgot she wasn't in Chinatown. I also don't like that the food prices are all incorrect for any sort of meat or seafood item. It's $1 surcharge. The way they justify it is with a small disclaimer at the bottom of one side of the menu. When I asked them both it they told me they aren't allowed to change the prices per the owner. So that's how they get around it with the small disclaimer to increase the prices. They kept saying over and over to me that it's justified and we shouldn't be complaining because their portions are big. Actually I wasn't complaining about the size or even the price. They are missing the point entirely. It's the manner in which they modify the price that I have an issue with. Because many people won't see that small disclaimer on one side of the menu unless they're reading everything on the menu. She finally admitted that a lot of customers actually are caught off guard by the check. We ordered 3 dishes and then the waitress stopped us and said that's enough food. I actually like to order more to take home but we stopped thinking we should just take her advice in case it was bad. The jumping on the mountain pork dish wasn't too spicy and my kid could eat it. The fried spicy chicken cubes (we had ordered pepper twins chicken actually) was ok. More mala than many competing restaurants. The ginger fish was also ok. Nothing wow about any of the dishes really. But I don't know if we'd return because of the attitude.

Yelp
Server told me this location (and another one) had been sold. I can't verify online. But I do know that gluten free isn't gluten free anymore, and the rest of the food had plummeted in quality. All my favorite staff/servers were gone, and the restaurant was empty. The gluten free thing is really the deal killer tho. They didn't change the menu so you can't tell until you get the food delivered. When I asked about the changed ingredients, the server had no idea what I was talking about. I didn't take the risk; my friend said they were so-so. Other food was so-so but not glutened. Unfortunately, the gluten free options were the reason I was a regular, I'm in deep mourning over the loss of egg rolls in my life (it took 15 years to find them!), and I no longer trust the menu. But honestly, for everyone else, by changing the dishes and substituting [cheaper, lower quality] ingredients, no one is getting what they're paying for.

Yelp
We have not and will not eat here ever. I had just left MD Anderson with my very sick father who had just had a procedure done. He began to feel very unwell and needed a bathroom so we stopped at Pepper Twins so he could run to the restroom. They denied him entry for reasons unknown, possibly because we had not sat and purchased anything yet. Thankfully Twin Peaks next door was very kind and accommodating, helping us to the back of the restaurant and to the bathroom, making sure he was ok. I understand typically bathrooms are for 'paying customers' but we were having an emergency and will NEVER be a paying customer of Pepper Twins after this experience.

Yelp
Huge portion sizes, great if you love spicy food (authentic sichuan numbing spice). Been here multiple times, highly recommend.

Sophie M.

Yelp
It has more authentic Chinese foods compared to the other restaurants in the area. Plenty options on the menu. Nice inside seatings. Good service. Highly recommended.

Yelp
For in-town Sichuan, it's either Wanna Bao or Pepper Twins. Wanna Bao: Excellent Xiao Long Bao Excellent Cumin Lamb Unique and delicious Green Peppercorn Fish, if you like the Sichuan peppercorns. Mala Chicken has sugar in it, not something I like Rest is good Pepper Twins: The Ginger fish is 11/10 excellent and unique Everything is good and the price per portion is excellent. You really want to come here with a crowd so you can get a good variety of dishes without accidentally buying food for a week, a mistake I've made more than once without regret. At both restaurants I recommend getting: Sweet and sour eggplant Mapo Tofu Dry-fried green beans Add various additional proteins and dumplings as you see fit based on above recommendations, such as boiled beef, mala chicken, cumin lamb, one of the mentioned fish dishes, etc.

Yelp
the good: - lots and lots of peppery goodness - consistently spicy and savory: been here multiple times for lunch - hot premium pork belly (they're not kidding, guys) - seemingly authentic (since i'm not chinese i can only assume b/c it tastes authentic) the not so good: - nothing to see here...
google avatar

Pooja N.

Yelp
Huge serving of mapo tofu! One of the more delicious mapo tofus I have had in Houston. I also love that it is BYOB!
google avatar

James B.

Yelp
Service was great even though they were busy for Sunday dinner. Both entrees tasted great with quality ingredients. Their take on Kung Pao was a little different than I am used to and this makes me intrigued to try their other menu staples.
google avatar

Sehar S.

Yelp
If i could rate zero stars, I would. The restaurant has terrible service and the servers argue with you when you ask a question. On top of it, the menu says gratuity will be charged for 6 plus people whereas they still charge gratuity at 5 people. I'm utterly disappointed. The server when i asked one of our dishes was missing, she goes, at Chinese restaurants, they come one by one and it takes time. Like hello all i asked was why it wasn't out. Not going back again.
google avatar

Hermana M.

Yelp
Had a really bad experience for lunch. Food was not as good as they used to be. It just blends in with the rest of the Houston Chinese restaurants now. Price is on par as well. What really brings down the rating is the service. When we first walked in, the waiter just signaled and waved us to the table. No greeting even though I said hi he just ignored me. During the ordering process I pointed to each item I wanted to order on the menu and ordered. Later when the food brought out, we were missing the egg roll and crab Rangoon for the lunch special. When I asked l, the guys said it's your fault because you didn't specify you wanted lunch special. I was like I pointed to the item on the menu. He just dismissed my issue and said it's your fault you should have specified you wanted lunch. He didn't try to admit his mistake to attempt to remedy the situation. Just kept on saying its your fault. needless to say we will never return.

Yelp
I love Sichuan food, and I love Pepper Twins!! Quality is very consistent at this location. I have been here numerous times, and I have never been once disappointed by the food. You must order the spicy chicken cubes! They are the most delicious fried chicken nuggets ever. So tender and so juicy. The water boiling fish is also a necessity. They also had a seasonal summer item, which was the pork belly buns. The serving size was small, but tasty. Pepper Twins and Mala Sichuan are my go to places for Sichuan food in Houston! I can't wait to be back!

Yelp
ordered the orange chicken and king pow chicken, was good but not great can't recall the pricing

Yelp
Located in the same plaza as the a Taco Cabana and a couple of other bars/restaurants. Once you turn in the parking lot it should be pretty easy to spot. Something to note, the parking diagonal spaces in the lot are pretty narrow so be careful when parking. There is an entrance to the lot from the Kirby side as well as the 59 freeway side. The interior of the restaurant is pretty spacious. While there are plenty of tables, it doesn't give off a super crowded feel. There is a waiting area with with a couch that you can sit at if there's a bit of a wait. There are approximately 4-6 booths in the restaurant that can seat 4 comfortably. A variety of tables make up the rest of the seating options. The largest table should comfortably sit 8-10, there's only one of these though. The staff are all still masked which is nice for hygiene regardless of how one feels about the pandemic. Very friendly and helpful interactions from the employees. The food here is great. The portions are good and each dish ranges from around 13-20 dollars for the most part. Free refills on rice which is nice since Szechuan cuisine give a bit of a kick. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that I got a bowl which wasn't very clean the last time I visited. The staff were able to swap it back out, but I really wish that wouldn't have been an issue to begin with Maybe a bit nit-picky, but otherwise this place is great! Bonus: If you've never had dishes cooked with peppercorn before and you experience some numbness in your mouth, don't worry - just part of the Szechuan cuisine experience.

Yelp
Ever since I tried Sichuan food for the first time here 2 months ago, I've been addicted. The special peppercorns that are used in most dishes will slowly numb your tongue and lips. The first time was interesting and odd. I didn't think I enjoyed it. But a few days later, I was craving it like nobody's business. That addiction is still going quite strong! I've been visiting or ordering from here at least once a week. Can't get enough! My favorite dishes are the sautéed lamb, pepper twins chicken and ginger fish. The service is great. The waitstaff is more than happy to explain the various dishes. I'll probably be back in a few days.

Yelp
Clean, speedy service, great interior, good selection of foods. Comes with complimentary wonton strips which were tasty. Food is at a good price and the servings are good. Ordered the sweet and sour eggplant which was pretty authentic and good although it could've been spicier. Also ordered the stinky tofu which unfortunately wasn't stinky at all but I liked the fish paste that they put in it. It was very unique and unlike anything I've tried before.

Yelp
Pepper twins is always great! This is a spot That me and my friends love to eat at. Everything on their menu is amazing. With regards to value, this place can't be beat! The prices aren't very high but you get a lot of food for what you Pay! For the low prices the value you get is great! Ive sampled a few dishes that have been great but I particularly like the orange beef. The staff always gets food out quick too, which is nice! For the low prices and the large quantity of food this place is great! Would highly recommend

Yelp
Huge portions! Share plates. We loved the soup! I had the tofu fish dish which I've give it 3-4*. Everything else I'd give 5*. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. She offered us to go boxes, and not just one but several bc she knew how many leftovers we had. She then filled up the rice box for us to have more rice to go.

Yelp
Visiting Houston and went through a ton of reviews before deciding pepper twins sounded the most authentic. Did not disappoint. So dang delicious. We had: Wood ear mushroom: lovely texture, light, great flavor Ginger fish: order this if you like spicy. Best thing we ate. Incredible flavor, great fish, perfect spice Green beans: delicious, great flavor Kungpao chicken: could go with out but not bc it's bad just lowest on my list of the 4 things Will likely order again in the next week while here.

Yelp
This place is absolutely delicious! They give you jasmine rice with each dish! You have to try the French style! It was fresh and tasty! The meat is tender for both the chicken and beef!

Yelp
Really good food with great portion size. The Pepper Twins chicken and steak bites seems like the same entree. Good fried rice. Each dish, expect fried rice, came with a side of rice. The go to dish here? The ginger fish! It is a little spicy and the right amount of pepper. I could eat this all day everyday. What did I learn today? Lunch hour can be super busy.

Yelp
There is no dim sum here just wanted to clear that. There are some things they also have at the other locations that they do not serve here as well. Was excited to try this place out since I always drive past this place from highway 59. My sister wanted me to try it. My opinion is it's decent.... very expensive, for I guess you can say a little higher class Chinese food. So here's what we ordered: Appetizer: Mr And Mrs Smith beef tendon: 3/5. Pretty good paired with the white rice. Very oily, and pretty spicy. It's not actual whole beef tendon, it's part tendon part meat. Just want to clarify that so in case you guys were thinking actual beef tendon, it's not. Hot wood ear salad: 3/5, it's refreshing though. It's a cold type of salad. Not sure it might be mushroom? Entrees: General Tso: 3/5 it's not bad... the sauce flavor isn't as great. I'll give it that they use free range chicken. It's really ok. Not omg. Orange chicken: 3/5 you actually taste the orange in these chicken batter. Again it's decent but not omg. Spicy pork chitlin 0/5 I don't know why my sister likes this... it's nasty. Smells bad I mean I know it's intestines and everything. Oily, flavor is foul and earthy. I preferred mine boiled or stir fried. This was deep fried. Overall I mean to me it's just a high class Chinese that is decent.
