How is Peppermill Reno not a 5-star hotel?!
We arrived Saturday night and were immediately impressed. The room alone felt luxurious — the steam shower, fireplace, and décor were beautiful, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. Everything felt elevated.
We did have a small issue with the steam shower, and since that feature really mattered to me, I called the front desk. After explaining the situation, they sent someone up within 5 minutes. They tried to fix it right away, and even offered us a room switch immediately just to make sure we were happy. The best part? They handled everything for us — we didn’t even have to go downstairs to exchange keys.
Also… I actually won money at the casino, which never hurts 😄
Casino food is usually pretty “meh,” but Peppermill seriously surprised us. Their restaurants were genuinely impressive — especially for Reno. The food quality was far better than expected.
Late at night (around 3am), we noticed our new room didn’t have the complimentary water bottles. We called, and within 5 minutes, someone showed up — not with just two bottles, but four.
We also ordered breakfast room service the night before for 10am. It arrived exactly on time, the portions were huge, and the food was great. When we called back asking for to-go boxes, they told us they were very busy and it might take about 20 minutes — but once again, they showed up within 5 minutes.
From the amenities to the casino to the level of hospitality, everything was outstanding. The service was fast, thoughtful, and genuinely caring.
100/10 experience.
Peppermill deserves way more credit — this felt like a true luxury stay.
