"For those who have no problem leaning against a counter, takeaway container in hand, Peppers & Spice is essential pre-Spurs match. The Caribbean takeaway makes a rich oxtail stew and tender jerk chicken with just a hint of smokiness, primed for fiery homemade jerk sauce on the side. "The Tottenham outpost of Peppers & Spice isn’t dissimilar to its Dalston sibling—it’s still takeaway-only and you should still always get a meat patty to keep you going. But, in our humble opinion, this location of the Caribbean spot is just that little bit tastier. Maybe it’s because we’ve never had to queue for as long. Or maybe it’s because our football allegiances mean our expectations are unfairly lower in this area. But the jerk chicken has always been that bit more tender and the jerk sauce fully popping with scotch bonnet. Locals probably feel the same: this tiny takeaway shop is never without a queue. The Oxtail falls off the bone, meat melts in the mouth, gravy thickness perfect and dumplings very tasty. Chicken Pattie was good but will try the beef one next time. Rice was tasty. The best Caribbean takeaway in the area. Big portion for the price.

Cancelled my order without leaving a note or contacting me to tell me why. Never ordering from them again, trust is gone. A little bit of courtesy would have gone a long way. Gave it two stars cause the last meal I ordered was nice, but that's it from me.

So disappointing worst experience ever with their food. Mac n cheese was hard as a rock and smelt awful. The chicken was tough tasted like it had been in the microwave repeatedly. I really wanted the food to be good and it was just awful will not be returning. Very very disappointing.

Ordered a soup and patty I asked for extra dumplings and they sent loads it was a very tasty soup and the patty was seasoned well with a nice kick of spice deffo order again thank you and I’m vegetarian so it’s normally hard finding food with this much flavour

So to start off, the flavour of the red pea soup was nice. Good seasoning but there was just not enough of the actual soup . The ratio of soup to kidney beans was not good. Soooo many kidney beans and hardly enough liquid gravy. I was sick and so excited to get some soup but if they add more soup and less beans it would be better.

Waste of £18. I was very disappointed with my bbq wings they were dry and hard and smothered with lots of sauce. I couldn’t bite into them. Not edible. The patties were okay. I remember every year I have a bad experience here. Going to try and remember next time and stay away

The staff are very efficient. They greet you and serve you with a smile. The food here is fresh and very tasty.
