Roast Beef Grinder was great! Tons of meat. Route 66 Burger was the best and biggest burger I've had. Bacon wrapped jalapeños were good.

Pretty solid food. I tried the beef bulgogi combo, boyfriend ordered a cheeseburger. Both were yummy, portions and price weren't bad at all. Would definitely try again. The cashier was also super nice and the restroom was also pretty clean which I appreciate. ❤️

We discovered this place in July and have been there 3 times since. The seasons on the burgers is perfection. I’d like to get their recipe. Everything is delicious, pastrami, loaded fries, and the burgers delish!

My first time here today. Was very pleased with my order. It was made fresh. I had the Peppi’s grinder special combo. My boyfriend ordered the pastrami burger and I got my baby the kids meal cheeseburger. We also had fried mushrooms as side order. Very quick in getting our order out. They do charge for refills on drinks but it’s very affordable. Overall very good spot will definitely be coming back.

Tried this place for the time today, per the reviews.. yes, it did take 20 minutes from time of order. We had the double bacon cheeseburger, that was delicious! You could tell that it was made fresh. The second thing I ordered was the new 10in chili cheese and pastrami (meat was a little too dry for me) hot dog, it was good but not as good as the burger. This place also has crinkle cut fries and those are always my favorite kind so I was super excited to see that! Ranch is $.25 each but is homemade so that was another plus! Plan on going back another and try other foods there. They serve Korean good as well .. can't wait to try it.

Really good food. I've had the Pastrami burger, fried mushrooms, and the large Philly cheese. Everything taste great and consistent every time I have been there. Well worth going back over and over again. Last thing too they have good Ranch.

New favorite place. Burger patties are made in house not processed patties... fries are fresh and crispy. Ordered a bacon double cheese burger and it is about to be lunch and dinner. This burger is bigger than Five guys and I like it better. Bun is fresh ingredients all taste fresh. Got to go here if you are looking for a burger. First time trying Peppi's and they did not disappoint. Don't feed the pigeons they multiply. 😳

Chili cheese fries are the best!!! My kids love the chicken nuggets. Recommend if you're in Fontana.

I heard about this business from a content creator on IG OB eats. So I took my family to try this place and here's my experience... Everything was very average price. Food quality service. Nothing outstanding but after looking at the video from IG compared to the food I ordered and received I found our food was less than the portions featured on IG. Being that it's very average nothing remarkable I would consider this restaurant was working with the content creator to be deceptive of the portion size. Normally a restaurant like this would get 2.5 stars cuz it's average, minus 1 star for the deception to total 1.5 stars. I'll generously round up to a 2 star cuz there's no option for 1.5. I don't appreciate the deception. I will not be back.

A staple of Rialto for decades. Quick service if you get their most sold items. I got the large pastrami grinder and clam chowder and had my order in a few minutes. I ordered to go but seating is available outside, about 5 picnic benches worth. I went in late afternoon in May, so be mindful of weather if your eating outside. I dont think the Drive-in label is accurate, as you've got to park to walk to the window to order. It may look uninviting, but there's staff there. Parking is shared with a nearby market, but beware of the pothole in the driveway. Would be 5 stars when they or the property manager fixes it.

The food was all right mediocre at best. I would've gave it a higher star if they had better customer service.

Yes to the grinders! Very happy with trying the ham grinder so nice simple and on point. Amazing quality and service. Don't really call this a hidden gem but it's definitely a go to spot lots of amazing food to pick from. Must come back

Peppis to the rescue for our hungry !! A delicious place to eat. We tried the Peppi's Deluxe sandwich and loved it. Great service and prices, but the quality surprised us. Delicious! yummy, yummy, with will be back soon to try the rest of the huge menu.

First timers today after living down the street for 6 years and constantly driving by this place. My husband loveddddddd his burger! He got the Hawaiian Teriyaki Cheeseburger and added avocado. I got the Philly Cheese Steak and it was good but not great. I think the meat could have used a little more seasoning. But we'll definitely be back and try other things on their extensive menu. The font on the menu is small so I tried to take photos zooming in so you could see the items clearly!

I experienced this for the first time today. It is recognized as a local staple and certainly met the expectations. I found the prices to be quite reasonable. The food was served fresh and hot, and it was exceptionally flavorful. I was particularly impressed with the hamburger, which had the taste of a homemade burger and was of a generous size. I plan to return to try other menu items. The workers were friendly and pretty fast. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor sitting as well.

This place has been though a lot. It opened in 1948 and I had my very first pastrami grinder here about 1957 and many more in years to follow. I don't want to say anything bad about this place just for sentimental reasons but the need to step up their game. I don't know why they don't recognize it. I came here in hopes it would be as good as I remember from the last time 40 plus years ago. The pastrami grinder and the bread it was on had a slight off taste as if it has been heated on a grill was being wiped clean with grease that wasn't being kept fresh. Gorden Ramsey needs to spend a week with them and show them what is wrong. It was such a disappointment I can only give their pastrami grinder a 2 on a scale of 1 to 10. They have nowhere to go but up. When I saw they had pastrami burritos I had high hopes they had duplicated the kosher burrito from the place with the same name in LA that closed about 35 years ago. No such luck! There is no indoor seating and Fontana is notorious for its winds and the pigeons know this is an easy place for a meal. I suggest you order your food and take it with you and eat it elsewhere,

Mine and fiancé's top choice for a burger (try 4th and mill if you want more of a sit down spot). Close to home. Generous portions. Price keeping up with inflation but 100% worth it!! #IYKYK!!

Haven't been back to this spot in a long time. But it definitely has not change in how good the burgers are here. The only thing that has change is the cost but it's on oar with ever now a days. I had the pastrami burger this time and they liked on the pastrami. This was definitely a huge burger, also had the chili cheese fries .they may not be the best chili cheese fries but they hit the spot. I'm glad they brought back the crinkle fries from my first stop a long time ago. The indoor dining area was closed as it's under construction but they do have several tables on the patio for dining Al fresco.service was great as they had the order out very quickly even though it was made to order. Definitely if you're in the area make a pit stop and you will not be disappointed.

If you want a good homemade style pastrami burger with the "works" Peppi's makes 'em. My burger was big beefy, well cooked and seasoned, big slice of tomato, shredded lettuce, dill pickle slices, red onion, cheese and pastrami. My meal included fries, and I drank a cold orange whip, so good! Reasonably priced.

My husband been wanting to try their pastrami sandwich, so I decided to go get us lunch. I called ahead to make sure I can use with my phone wallet and they answered quick and was very nice. I took my son and went to order the lady was so nice and sweet. We ordered the avocado burger, fries, onion rings, dumplings, and pastrami. The only thing that was average was fries and dumplings but everything else was outstanding. We will be back!! Need to try their Philly cheese sandwich.

I have only tried the Pastrami lrg sandwich. Which is so big it lasts me 3 meals. Their small fries feed both my uncle and I. And we still threw away a few. I really like this place I might even try more stuff. But for now stuck on their Pastrami sasandwich.

Actually the food has gone down in taste and quality while going up in price. Apparently Peppi's got sold to another owner and the recipes didn't come with the sale. Family and I probably will not be returning again to Peppi's...

OMG!!! Stopped her on a whim. This place is amazballs! The galbi taco was almost as good a kogi truck- but twice as large and half the price! The pastrami burger was one of the best I've ever had. And the fries were everything you'd want from a burger stand. Definitely coming

I used to give this place 5 stars because it was great and you got what you paid for now you are charged more and get way less.

I got lettuce after I asked for no veggies so I took it out. The beef and chicken had no teriyaki flavor. The rice tasted like it was cooked with too much water. The beef had a nasty fridge taste that even with teriyaki sauce it tasted like shit. I wouldn't recommend this plate. The fries were bomb. Maybe something else from this place.

First time visiting. Pastrami needed more meat, but very delicious. Chili Burger was the bomb.

I'm surprised we only found out about this place recently! My husband and I came here on Friday. The owners are a Korean family. We both got their Korean BBQ Special - the Bulgogi combo with rice and salad or fries and a drink. My husband got the salad and I picked fries. The Galbi for the galbi tacos weren't ready that morning. They do not have indoor seating at the moment, but do have seating outside. Our meal took about 15-20 minutes and well worth the wait. If you are in a hurry, you can also call ahead to place your order. Yesterday, we stopped in again for an early dinner. This time we called ahead so by the time we arrived, our order would be ready. Nobody was there (probably all watching the football game). This time they did have the Galbi so I ordered the Galbi combo (2 tacos + drink) and my husband got the same thing he got on Friday; the Bulgogi combo with salad. The tacos didn't need any extra sauce or salsa at all. The meat was very flavorful on its own. We would totally come just for the Korean dishes, but we've been told that their pastrami burgers and other items are really good as well. Next time we come, we'll have to try more items.

I been going there for a long time.. it has changed a lot.. the food used to be good.. now it's expensive and not good... area is full of bird poop.. the service decent ... and sometimes is full of homeless people

On 4/30/25 I tried Peppi's for the first time. Sadly I will not be returning I ordered two large pastrami's and a small cold cut sandwich, small chilli cheese fries, horchata and Diet Pepsi. I don't see how reviews say generous portions all the sandwiches I ordered hardly had any pastrami in them and an excessive amount of mustard,the cold cut sandwich was practically all bread. I didn't like the chili fries. I don't see how you can go wrong with chili fries but they did. I spent over $40 on this food and the only thing good about it was the diet Pepsi what a shame guess I must have gone on the wrong day :( Sorry Peppi's

We ordered sandwiches from this place. The service was fast and the staff were friendly. We tried the pastrami the first time and we liked it. We like that they are shaved like and not thick and the bread is fresh and light. The second time, we ordered it again, and we must say it is definitely to our liking we also tried the cheese steak. Hmmm, it's good but a little too greasy for our taste. Try them both, you just might like it !

Cheeseburger was delicious, as were the fries! I would come back again. The portions are huge, so you can share with someone.

The service was excellent and the lady working the window was super nice. I had the pastrami and it was not totally old school but it was good. It could have been dipped which would have taken it over to being great. The fries were very good. I sat there outside and ate it is outdoor eating. Overall very good and I would recommend and visit again.

I have been waiting to eat here since my wife's mother moved to her new place. It is exactly what I expected. The food is decent but nothing spectacular. The service is good and friendly. The ambiance is nothing special. Only take out and patio dining. The area is okay but the decor is dated. If you want a meal that is like The Hat but on a lower level this place is perfect.

Bad service, bad food. No adjustments for anything. I have tried for adding Jalapeños but to no avail. The owners are not willing to adjust for tour taste.

My coworker hyped this place up but honestly I didn't think it was worth the price. Texture of the meat wasn't the best and the burger didn't have a whole lot of pastrami on it despite it being almost $15

Good is good you definitely want to try different things here they have allot of options. Kalbi bbq tacos, grinders and pastrami's are a must, all tho I wish they would add MORE Pastrami to the sub sandwiches but that's just me!. Over-all really good food.

I have to say thank you for 'Rancho Cucamonga Eats' for introducing us to this place. I wouldn't know if a burger place have the best beef and pork bulgogi around. So we'll marinated. So fresh. At Affordable price. I just wish the dressing for the salad could be the korean dressing instead of just regular dressing. Thank you ajuma for being so nice!

The food here is always great and fresh! I just moved near this place about a year ago and it is the go to burger spot in Fontana and the customer service is amazing. It has a great overall atmosphere whether you come with people or alone it is a must visit!!

The Worst food never go there again.I ordered mushrooms tasted frozen and chili fries not good either this was a bad idea of eating there .

Peppi's is awesome! My family loves getting burgers, pastrami, and fries from here. We will usually choose Peppi's over other options especially fast food options.

This place was so good and the food tasted fresh. They don't have a drive thru, but it's a walk up window. The zucchini fries were perfect. The Korean bbq combo comes with rice under the beef, and a side of either fries or salad and a drink. I would come here again.

Looking for lunch in Fontana? I was. After driving around hungry for what felt like 15 minutes, I stumbled upon Peppi's. The outside reminds me of every great burger place I visited throughout my childhood. Growing up in Southern California there's always been plenty of options. I don't get to venture out into the Fontana area very often so I'm rather picky with where I eat while I'm out here. Today I tried somewhere new and I'm happy to say I'll be adding it to my list of favorites for this part of the IE. The menu made me nervous, and by that I mean that I made it to the front of the line and had to quickly skim it and make up my mind so as to not slow down the imaginary people behind me (there was no one else in line, really) and I decided on a double cheeseburger combo, upgrade to chili cheese fries and a side of zucchini with a Sierra Mist (Pepsi products at this joint). After waiting 9 minutes for my order, I got everything exactly as I had ordered it. Everything looked delicious, especially those giant zucchini strips staring at me through the opening in the paper bag. The burger has a great flavor to it. The patties taste better than your average frozen patty you usually get from mom and pop shops. They are seasoned well and 2 of them is the perfect amount of meat on a burger. Tons of veggies and sauce. The fries threw me off a bit, they are COVERED in cheese but I can't taste it at all. What I can taste, though, is the chili. That's the odd part. I think it's the meat in the chili that's got a strong, great flavor and it totally overpowered the taste of the fries and the cheese. All in all they are still great fries, but I think I'll get regular fries next time. I didn't love them, but I couldn't stop eating them! The zucchini has got to be what I was most excited for. Just look at the pictures below, that is some BOMB LOOKING ZUCCHINI. If I'm being honest, it wasn't my favorite. Don't get me wrong, they are the perfect size and the breading had an amazing crisp on it, the actual zucchini was cooked perfectly, but the breading tasted like just breadcrumbs. No seasoning that stood out, no distinguishable flavors besides zucchini and bread. I think they would pair great with a thousand island dip. I really can't wait to come back and try more items on the menu. I hear the bulgogi is good, and it looks fantastic so I will definitely be back to try that. My wife also LOVES pastrami so I'm sure we'll come back to try that.

This place has some of the best pastrami in Fontana. Their pastrami grinder, pastrami burger, and pastrami melt are all very good. Their combos are generous on the fries. They're consistent when it comes to portion size and taste, and the staff is always friendly.

I got the avocado cheeseburger and it was delicious. They have a lot of options on their menu, I will definitely be coming back

This place is considered historical in Fontana and is pretty well known for its offerings. This was not my first time here, in fact, my wife and son are huge fans. Today we came for a quick lunch and we went with the kids meal burger, pastrami sandwich, and pastrami burger. For the pastrami sandwich, there are two sizes and I had a reasonable appetite, which made me go with the 6 inch (smaller version). My wife loves the pastrami burger, but she never finishes it and my son gets the kid meals. The fries are crinkle cut and you're given a smaller portion, but the combo is definitely filling. The drinks are typical soft drinks and there's no issue there. As far as cost, it cost $26 for three meals and one was a kid meal. It is kind of pricy, but you're getting a good decent lunch for the price. Overall, I'll keep coming here and look forward to enjoying their pastrami sandwich.
