There're several colorful houses in a row.
It was a pretty cute view.
It takes about 10 minutes from Marine Parade station on foot.
There are a variety of shops like cafes on the way.
So, you won't feel so far away from the station.

Beautiful houses, well-maintained since it's actually a residential area. There were a few fellow tourists when I got there on weekday noon. Just make sure to be nice if you happen to cross path with the residents.

Very pretty looking houses all over these streets. If you are planning a visit here better to go during the early morning hours as it gets very hot and there is no shade. Also it adjacent to the road so you will require to wait for the cars to get out of your frame.

🔵 Came here a few times over the years to Koon Seng Road to take photos of our pastel coloured Peranakan houses.
🟨 The houses are very pretty and are a testament to the Peranakan lineage of which I am part of.

nicely restored buildings with lots of heritage culture. A beautiful quiet street with tourists taking nice photos at this street but please beware of ongoing traffic!

The Peranakan houses were a bit underwhelming as they seem to have lost some of their former charm. While you can see the potential, the area feels a bit run down. That said, it's still a cool spot to check out, especially with the many great shops and eateries nearby that add to the experience.

Gorgeous houses! I'd been wanting to see these for a while and finally got there. Highly recommend a walk up vibrant Joo Chiat Road (from East Coast Rd) to get there. Lots of interesting things to see on the way. Really enjoyed this area in Singapore and will be staying there for future visits.
