"I recently visited Perc Coffee and tried their vanilla and lavender latte (Hot, without sugar) and a cinnamon donut. The latte was a definite highlight. The lavender flavor was subtle and pleasant, not at all overpowering, and it paired beautifully with the vanilla. The coffee itself was well-made, not too sweet, and the espresso was smooth. The price, I think was around $6, was reasonable for a specialty latte.
Unfortunately, the cinnamon donut was a bit of a letdown. While the flavor was good, it was served cold, which significantly detracted from the experience (they couldn't warm it up). The texture was also dry, making it even less enjoyable. A warm, fresh donut with a moist texture would have been much better. I also can't recall the price, but it's worth noting that the coldness and dryness impacted my overall impression.
I particularly liked the minimalist decor. The location is great, next to club pilates, fresh market, etc.
Despite the cold and dry donut, I would still recommend Perc primarily for their excellent lavender and vanilla latte. It's a great spot for a quiet coffee break, catching up with friends, or getting some work done.
