Perennial Corktown

This apartment is absolutely stunning. The amenities are excellent. The gym here is better than the gym I had in college. The great space has its own kitchen. Studying has never been easier than using one of the many study rooms to block off noise. You can host parties. The staff is friendly always. They treat you like family. Everyone speaks. Matt and Lyndsey are awesome. They are quick to respond to emails. They crack down on foolishness. It truly feels like a hotel. There have been several times where I needed help and Matt or Lyndsey was there to assist. They together host events for the residents. We had one yesterday, October 16th. We painted pumpkins and sipped on cider while watching movies and creating small talk. They even allowed puppies at the event. It felt like a networking event as well as a time to meet our neighbors in a more casual setting. I highly recommend living here. It’s an oasis within the city life. It’s very secure here. I’m not from Detroit and neither is my man so this apartment, along with the entire staff, has made the transition seamless and enjoyable.

Perennial Corktown is truly something special. Jon and Lyndsey are the absolute best - seriously, give them a raise!! They’ve created such a welcoming, inspiring space that feels more like a community than just a place to live. The energy here is unmatched and it’s genuinely been life-changing for me. I’ve met my forever friends here and I’m so grateful for everything this place has brought into my life. Couldn’t recommend it more! 💛

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Forever Grateful for Lyndsey & Jon! Living at Perennial Corktown has been amazing, but what’s made it feel like home is the incredible support from Lyndsey Battles and Jon Hanson. These two go above and beyond every single time. Need something fixed? Handled. Have a random request? Done. They’ve never missed a beat. Their level of courtesy, communication, and care is absolutely unmatched. It’s rare to find people who genuinely take pride in what they do, and Lyndsey and Jon show it in every interaction. Seriously, I’ve never felt more taken care of by a leasing team. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Huge thank you to both of them you’ve made this place feel like more than just an apartment. You’ve made it feel like family.

I have been living here for 5 months and really like it. The building is fantastic and the office staff is great, shoutout to Lyndsey and Jon for always being helpful and friendly.

I liked the WFH spaces and the large studios with sectioned off sleeping areas. The required fees in addition to the rent seem excessive.

These apartments are amazing. Wonderful location in corktown. The amenities are one of the selling points for me with an amazing gym, coworking space, community room and pool. I’ve never been so obsessed with a living space. The soon to open bodega and tap house are going to be a real treat. Most of all the staff here is phenomenal Always so kind , willing to help and always smiling. If you are looking for an apartment that has an amazing community this is the place !

SCHEME! When I first heard about Perennial, it was because of my friend, whom is a Realtor. Perennial along with many buildings offer Realtors a referral fee for referring clients to lease from their building. This fee is paid no more than 30 days from lease signing. I provided copies of constant follow up via email. I spent over 6 months asking for continuous updates, which was extremely unprofessional for a new building who is seeking residents. As you can see, the property manager LIED and said that the check was mailed out on June 27 and on August 2 had to escalate the issue because it was "never sent". The level of disfunction, unprofessionalism and "tell you what you want to hear" is at all time high with this building and their Parent Company, Friedman Properties. Too much miscommunication....best to stay far away!
