"Perihelion is a place that feels designed for fall—with an outdoor firepit, barrels everywhere, an open kitchen that makes the Beacon Hill tasting room nice and warm, and an overall woodsy vibe. But it works any time of the year. They have a full menu worth planning a meal around (along with an outstanding burger), great music, and beers that range from apricot sour and roasted pepper IPA to classics like scotch ale and oatmeal stout. "If drippy and topping-heavy burgers are your thing, go for the beacon burger at Perihelion. The cheddar, thick pork belly, and chile aioli work better together than Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds, and Donald O’Connor in the tap dance sequence in Singing In The Rain. "Studies show that there are two beverages beneficial for workout recovery: chocolate milk and beer. Perihelion doesn’t serve chocolate milk, but it is a brewery, so have at a couple of lagers. "There are plenty of great dinner spots just steps from Beacon Hill’s light rail station—which, to be honest, looks like Batman’s underground lair turned into a bus stop. But make Perihelion a priority. It’s perfect for cold days with its cozy fire pits, great for hot days thanks to its refreshing beer, and ideal for any day in-between because they serve an absolutely phenomenal burger." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley
"Perihelion is our favorite place for beer south of I-90, and as an added perk, their food is the perfect accompaniment to pints of apricot sour. We’re talking rigatoni mac and cheese with gorgonzola, salty shoestring fries, soft pretzels, and one of the best cheeseburgers in town, topped with melty pork belly and chile aioli. The staff is very friendly, there’s an outdoor firepit, and it’s 325 feet away from the Beacon Hill light rail station.
