Perks Coffee

I got a croissant and waffle mixed together. Very underwhelming to say the least, as it was room temperature when I received the waffle. It was just very doughy. Not to mention when I tried to speak Spanish for my own practice (which usually goes well in other businesses), I was told “I speak English”. Okay service, subpar food.

Came from out of town. There were a few different ladies assisting my friend and I and they were all so lovely! The owner came in because the register stopped working and it was a packed house. They still made the orders, kept calm and made due. The almond croissants are amazing! My coffee whether hot or iced was made to perfect. I thought about moving there just to continue getting my order 😂 They are great!

My order was a mangonada, boba, mocha frappe, and avocado toast, everything was great except for the avocado toast. The avocado spread tasted sour? like it was either bad or they put lemon juice in it and about 30 minutes after eating it I felt nauseous. Overall, great atmosphere, drinks, and staff, just not so great avocado toast. Looking back, I might’ve just ordered the wrong thing.

I am usually a regular perks along with my sisters and the drinks are great and the service has always been pretty good however, I’ve noticed recently the customer service isn’t as good and the Thai green tea is a lot weaker than what it used to be. They also do not allow dogs and I was unaware of this and there is no sign in indicating that overall perks is usually good but the customer service and quality has changed..

Quiet, cozy iced coffee and pastry for me, bubble tea for my kid all in the same place. (Nom Station is in the same shop!)

The drink I got was good. My friends coffee was good too. But the food... It's like someone without food training is trying their best to prepare something half decent. They have an opportunity for improvement there. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and an avocado toast with egg. I wished I have taken pictures. A simply boiled egg cut in pieces and placed in top of a piece of bread with avocado spread, minimum effort.

This place is dark, feels dirty and extremely unwelcoming. The espresso tastes burnt and incredibly cheap, for how much a SMALL coffee is, this isn’t right. Don’t waste your time or money here, it’s disgusting.

Great coffee, awesome selection of food. I love stopping in here for a bagel and cold brew. Staff is always friendly, place is always clean.

Very interesting coffee shop to say the least Pulling up you would think it's just a coffee shop with maybe some pastries/ sandwiches, but they have a WIDE variety of items on the menu. They have boba tea, smoothies, ice cream, breakfast sandwiches/ croissants/ burritos, pastries, yogurt parfait, lunch sandwiches/ wraps, hot dogs, paninis, Cuban sandwiches, chicken teriyaki banh mi and so much more. I ordered their Spanish latte with caramel! It was very delicious! Light in sweetness and very smooth and frothy. The atmosphere felt very oriental like I was in a Chinese restaurant. Not sure if the owners are Chinese and that was the vibe they were going for OR if this was a Chinese restaurant previously and the coffee shop moved in, but either way it was a nice switch up from the typical coffee shop look! I took a star off, because it took about 8 minutes before an employee even looked over and acknowledged me at the counter. They were making drinks and food, so I TOTALLY understand being busy, but you can still have good customer service by acknowledging customers. Just a simple, "Hello! Welcome in. I'll be right with you in just a minute." is an easy way to make a customer feel welcomed and seen. I used to work in the restaurant industry for 6+ years. Greeting customers is a high priority and can leave a good or bad taste in someone's mouth before they even try food/ drinks. I didn't try any food this time, but will definitely be back again and order some food

Unfortunately the coffee wasn't good - tried to replace it with a mango tajin drink and that wasn't good either. The service was nice though . Vibe wasn't bad but seemed like it was in the 90s.

Came in on a random Thursday morning, place was not busy at all. 30 minute wait for breakfast and coffee that was not worth it at all.

Lovely environment! Great work space and wonderful coffee. The employees were so helpful. They were great with suggestions and knew their stuff when it came to ingredients.

Too many themes, didn't love. My tea drink was unfortunate, toasted Cuban was fine. Overall lackluster service and weird decor. Should've just listened to the reviews and skipped it

Perks Coffee is also NomStation and they offer a wide range of beverages from both businesses. The staff is incredibly welcoming and fast with their service. I attached some photos of the interior and menus. Many options to choose from! The sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich can come on various breads of your choosing: wheat, white, bagel, everything bagel, and croissant. No biscuits. The sandwich was Made to order, no prepackaged, warm, flakey, and sausage is juicy! Their pastries can also be heated and makes it really yummy! Really enjoy their cold brew from perks and taro drink from NomStation side. Of course that's just my favorites. Parking is ample and about 5 outdoor tables.

I really enjoyed the cold brew here. Love how the ice is coffee iced. A great place to work or chat. Their prices are reasonable and you can order bubble tea here too if you want.

Came by here to grab coffee with friends the other day since we were in the area! ***LOCATION*** There were a decent amount of spots to parallel park out front, but it could be difficult to find parking if it were busy. This was a Sunday afternoon. ***ATMOSPHERE*** The vibe was really cool! Loved the decor and all of the colorful packaging at atmosphere as a whole! It was quiet and chill! Plenty of spots to get work done or sit with friends! ***FOOD/DRINKS*** I didn't eat, but my friend got a pastry and he seemed to enjoy it! Our coffees were good! They only have very particular flavors which is kind of their thing. I think it's cool but I was not in the middle for anything wild that day haha. I went with a plain iced latte (I LOVE that they have simple syrup at the sugar bar, so you can easily add exactly how much you want to cold drinks. I have never seen that at a coffee shop before) My bf got a iced latte I think it had habanero sugar or something like that and lavender vanilla I want to say. Can't remember the exact name. I tasted it and it was surprisingly not bad. I definitely would've drank it, but still did prefer my plain latte. ***CONCLUSION*** They don't have traditional syrups. No vanilla or anything like that sooo if you don't want a plain coffee or a very specialty flavor, I wouldn't recommend. Buuuut for plain coffee and the atmosphere it was nice :)

Stopped by while my dog was at the vet nearby and am so happy I did! The staff was incredibly friendly and the vibes inside were cute and cozy. The menu is amazing from coffee, smoothies, matcha, tea, and even taro milk tea! It was early when I came so I only got an iced matcha latte with marshmallow syrup in it and it was delicious. Very excited to come back and try the taro milk tea and other drinks!

I appreciated that they were open on the 4th of July, but I left feeling the opposite of perky. It seems like Perks is probably a great place to go for smoothies or sugary drinks, but don't go here if you actually like coffee. They had multiple chocolate mocha options, so maybe those are better. My dad got iced latte and I got a cold brew with oat milk, and somehow both of them were so bad they were undrinkable. My cold brew was bitter and acidic and burnt tasting, which I don't even know how that's possible since it was cold brew - maybe they made me the wrong drink? The ice was also just one large block of ice cubes that had melted and refrozen together to form a blob so the straw wouldn't even go in. The employees were friendly and cheerful, and hopefully with some better coffee and barista training Perks Coffee can be drinkable in the future.

I guess they're trading on their real competition because I didn't find anything especially appealing. I was really counting on Perc coffee. :(

Perks is a super cute little cafe. Their drinks are pricey but seem pretty standard for a place like this! I had a Matcha Latte with oat milk that was easily one of the best ive had! Definitely check out Perks if you need a pick me up.

What a yummy treat this morning. I have to say the service was spot on this morning. The young lady taking the order was so nice and quickly took care to set up my order. She was juggling several different customers and super friendly. Ordered my friend a bon bon and myself a cappuccino. Added a coffee muffin and she offered to warm it up. Delicious.

Had the Matcha - great taste, great service, very fast. My drink was customized the way I wanted it and there was a wide variety of options.

Wonderful coffee and service. Great for take out and also a great spot to work from, plenty of tables and outlets. The good morning bowl is one of my favorites.

My specialty coffee was bland, watery and tasteless. I haven't returned in ages; however, seeing that they have a listed "new and improved avocado toast", bagels and pastries, I may give it another chance for those items. A definite no on the coffee options.

The shop information on yelp says Dogs Allowed. At the actual store, it says service animals only. Not dog friendly!

Clean, decent food, decent coffee, good service, I would try it again. Wi-fi access unnecessarily wordy in order to market brand. There's opportunity for improvement in order to create a better environment to grab coffee, food-while putting in a little laptop time.

We've never had a good experience here- we've been here several times because it's so close, but their boba is way too sweet, and the food is always awful. Last time it was way undercooked, this time it tasted like soap. The service is always decent enough, but since their menu isn't correct anywhere online, we have several times gone to order something that they don't serve anymore. We would even call ahead to clarify if they serve something, and every time they would say yes they have and serve whatever it was we asked for- but we would get there 5 minutes later and they would tell us the opposite. They had banana milk tea on their online menu for months, and we would go to try it, but they kept saying they were just out of bananas, so we kept trying. After 2 months of them always being out of bananas, on a day they did have bananas, a manager told us they were no longer serving said tea. It's super weird that it's two different places, and you have to look at 2 different menus to see everything they serve even though it's one counter, with no other distinction between the two places. Seems like maybe they should just be one thing or call it one thing and combine the menus or split them by like drinks and food. Weird vibe, it's always dead in there.

Heading on a 2 hour road trip to Macon and needed a quick pick me up so I stopped in at Perks to get some coffee. Nice decor with plenty of seating, very clean. If it weren't during these times I would have probably stayed a bit to enjoy my coffee. They are conveniently located off of Windy Hill & I-75 in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking. There is a display with a variety of pastries from muffins, cookies, turnovers, danishes, bagels etc. I didn't try any but they all looked delicious. They had a decent selection of coffee choices and I decided on the Cortando which is espresso brewed with raw sugar. The coffee was nice and strong. If I'm in the area I will stop in again and give the pastries a try.

Food is not worth what you pay. Coffee is ok but definitely wouldn't come back with all that ATL has to offer

Actually finishing up lunch just a couple of doors down at Sinbad, we wanted to maybe get a dessert and some caffeine to chase our lunch. After a quick yelp search we saw Perks Coffee was literally a few steps away and we went inside! Right off the bat, Perks is very inviting with a nice warm interior and a tasty looking display of goodies to choose from. After a bit of deciding, we ordered the following: Daily perk coffee x 2 ($2.49 x 2) Chocolate coconut macaroon ($2.99) Starting with the perk coffee, it's a great deal because refills are free, and if you're a fan of Caribou coffee, this is what you're getting. It's brewed every half hour to keep it nice and fresh. Again, free refills! The macaroon both looked and sounded delicious! The chocolate was on one half of the treat, leaving one coconut side open for you to enjoy without chocolate. Here's the thing, the macaroon was pretty hard and didn't taste like coconut at all. There's a fair amount of seating here, and several wall outlets for electronic device users who need to plug in, and staff was also friendly. Parking is no issue at all, as Perks is in a strip with shared parking, although finding a spot right in front of the store may be tough. At the end of the day, we didn't have a bad time at Perks Coffee. Nice interior with free coffee refills. The dessert that we tried needed a large amount of work though, and since that's really the only thing we bought, that's really all I have to base my score off of. If and when I find myself back in town, I may give these guys another shot to up my score, but for now it was just an okay experience to me.

They just opened November 2017 and man am I glad! I popped in here just wanting to check them out and the staff was super welcoming. I got a chi latte and a bagel and it was just what I needed while I was working on some documents (free WiFi!). While I was working they also were trying out some new drink and gave all of us in there free samples! They said they were hoping to be selling it soon. It was chocolate ice cream with a shot of espresso poured over and boy was that yum! The place wasn't packed but there was plenty of table space! Didn't have a chance to check out if there were outlets for chargers, but I wasn't in need because my computer was charged. I will definitely be back soon.

Not super busy, there were several tables available inside. I got a cold brew which was delicious. My favorite part was that the ice cubes were made of cold brew so when they melted they wouldn't water down your drink. I also ordered avocado toast which was alright but I would suggest it without the egg. The egg was round and not the freshest.

I love this cute little cafe. My order is always correct and my food is always good. Reasonably priced as well. Service nice and friendly. Whenever they think they've taken longer than usual, they're always apologetic. I haven't had the coffee yet but I probably will when it gets cold. I've tried the avocado BLT and the veggie wrap. Both taste great. I go there at least 2 to 3 times a week for lunch bc it's across the street from my job.

This coffee shop and eatery are in the same complex as OTF and tesla chargers. Ive lived here a while and cant believe I just stumbled upon it recently. It is nice and spacious inside and clean. The staff are super friendly. The ham egg and cheese croissant was amazing! This is my new go to breakfast and coffee spot!

It's a nice, quiet place that I come to pretty often to get some work done. As for food and drinks, you know your order is going to be good if Clinton makes it.

We were planning on going to Starbucks but it was too crowded so we found perks! Glad we found it! No line, easy service, and had our coffees in less than 5 minutes (ordered 3- 2 iced caramel latte with almond milk and sugar free vanilla latte with oat milk). Also they came with gram crackers! They also have a point system which is nice too that is connected to your phone number! The seating was pretty good with tables/booths- furniture was dark and air was a little warm but not uncomfortable. They also served hot food along with pastries and yogurt! We went back the next day too because we all really liked there coffee!

I discovered this place on Uber eats. I tried the breakfast sandwich (croissant with egg cheese and sausage) and I also got a bagel with cream cheese. I had the option to get it toasted but I declined. Both items were great and delivered hot and fresh The price was very reasonable too. I will definitely order again.

DO NOT GET THEIR COLD BREW EXPECTING REAL COLD BREW. Their cold brew is very obviously regular iced coffee that tastes bitter and burnt. It took 30 minutes for three breakfast sandwiches and the worker responded with a nasty attitude when asked how much longer it would take.

Amazing food and coffee! They also have an amazing selection of boba teas and milks! Everyone was very kind and helpful when needed. Just a big smiling face to create a happy mood. The environment is also so relaxing and quaint. Highly recommend!

Pretty solid coffee shop. Cortado was delicious and the coffee isn't bitter at all. Dining room still closed but plenty of outdoor seating available. Saw lots of people picking up to-go orders.

I seriously wanted to give 3 or even less stars. First off... the coffee, exquisite. The service, exceptional. My only gripe is the lack of training with the rewards system they have in place. 1 purchase is 1 Star. Get 10 stars and you get a free coffee. I came in to redeem my free coffee and the female at the cash register did not know how to redeem my points so I had to pay. Today I purchased a coffee using cash (usually use credit cards or Apple Pay and they both link to my rewards account). I asked to apply that star to my account and they could not. First I was told i should have provided my phone number first. Then I was told there was nothing I could do. I just wanted one damn point and no luck. If I should have provided my phone number first shouldn't that be their job to ask for phone number for rewards? I should have to remember that if I am paying cash or using a credit card not linked to my account then I must remind them to input my phone number first? Frustrated. Again, they deserve 5 stars but right now I'm sooooo tempted to give them 1.

This is the new coffee shop that from what I hear opened ember 2017. It's very cozy, quiet, open and a little interpersonal as it seems the workers there are no a lot of people that come in daily. So that made me feel welcoming. The shop is pretty up-to-date and the owner even gave me a free cookie with my tea, which I thought was very nice. I have definitely made this place my new tea place, especially since they have over 10 organic teas to choose from. An Especially since Starbucks is so crowded usually.

Understaffed, unorganized, over priced mediocre food/drinks. If I could give 0 stars I would. Stopped here while on the road for a quick to-go breakfast and instead ended up waiting over an hour for over priced mediocre breakfast sandwiches and cold food. Ordered a $6 fresh squeezed orange juice and when they gave me a clearly store bought OJ 30 mins after ordering it I asked for a refund. Instead they went and made me the actual fresh squeezed OJ i ordered. Which was still watered down. Waste of time and money.

Nice, modern coffee shop. White walls, ironic international decoration, plenty of seating, a few unique options as well as the typical coffee shop fare. But why is it so hit inside?? Me and my friends were dying in there. I thought maybe it was the bright lights melting my makeup off, but then I thought, "Just turn up the a/c!" I don't know if it was just this day that it was sweltering in there, but it was enough not to make me want to return. Sheesh! Oh, the baristas were great. My 3 stars is really based on the temperature of the place. Grab your drink and go!

Nice establishment. Nice and friendly staff. The muffins are moist and delicious. They are the only place that has a sparkling green tea lemonade and it's AMAZING! There's usually a warm and welcoming vibe within the facility. The hours are for early birds but I can deal with it. Parking is not an issue. I enjoy the serenity

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. The customer service was garbage and the food was burnt. When my order was finished they just sat it on the counter without calling me to get it. I won't be coming back

The breakfast sandwiches are made to order and good. The marshmallow latte comes with a half graham crscker. I will be going back.

This review is only for food. Based on my experience the toast is not really toast. Toast is bread you put in a toaster and it gets crunchy. This is not the case. Avocado toast is suppose to come mashed up with salt and pepper and olive oil combined. The avocado toast here is sliced avocado laid atop bread that has not been toasted. The banana and peanut butter toast, again the bread is not toasted. I'm afraid to order any other food if you can't get toast right. ???????

Best service ever. We ordered avocado egg toast, a breakfast Burrito, and smoothie. The wait was average, but they brought out biscuit samples and other desert samples for us while we waited. Super friendly staff. Oh, and the food and smoothies were delicious too. We didn't actually order coffee.

Went here with my bf and we're from out of town. was just trying to find a quick breakfast spot before we head home. Girl... u can make it at home hun. I spent 22$ for an avocado toast n Nutella n strawberry croissant. u can easily make this at home n it definitely tastes better that way too.

Awesome coffee shop near The Battery in ATL. Great food and super welcoming staff. They have "real food", not just scones and muffins like a lot of other cafe/coffee shops in the city. Owner is super friendly and takes the time to meet and talk to customers that come in! Got a free muffin on the house last time. Highly recommend!

FAVORITE lunch spot in the Atlanta / Marietta area. I've basically become a regular at this lunch spot because of its food and service. It's well priced, decently healthy (much better options than the fast food / chain restaurants nearby) and the owner is so friendly! He's always bringing by free samples, add-ons, or simply free items to my meal. It's fun to be able to test out the new drink concoctions or treats they might start carrying as well. I highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a quick, convenient and tasty lunch.

Great cafe to sit down and get some focus! I was happy to find that the whole wall of outlets under the bench seating along the side wall. Inside is light and airy, and they have several cold drinks in the fridge, plus a wide selection of coffee beverages, I believe all made with Rev coffee beans. The lady at the counter was lovely and quick, and I enjoyed working at my computer here for the day! (They also have WiFi, but I forgot to turn off my hotspot to use it).

Usually have really good service but never had to deal with the lady I've dealt with this mourning she was rude pointed in my face I spend 130 a week here getting breakfast and coffee I may have to stop at another spot from now on.notice she's doing it to other customers as well extremely rude not how to treat people the two other girls here are great just not the one that drive the white highlander

Really needed some coffee and decided stop by. When you first walk in it seems like a nice little coffee shop what it is don't get me wrong, but there was nothing special about it. It's just like another Starbucks except the variety is so much better! I love the fresh orange juice, the store variety of sodas and water. I was hoping for a better variety of desserts or sweets but they were not too appealing. The decor is nice and everything is clean the staff seemed nice as well. I would love to stop by again if I'm in the area.
