The 13 Best Restaurants In Tottenham - London - The Infatuation

"Do you own a Fitbit? Did you break your high school track record? Then you have an excellent chance of getting your hands on one of Perkyn’s sell-out rolls. This cool and casual bottle shop and cafe has a changing menu of delicious chunky rolls throughout the week—although they tend to sell out by 2pm, so you need to move fast. Grab one of the rolls, stuffed with things like fennel and garlic salami and Old Winchester cheese, and a couple of beers or a cup of freshly ground coffee and head into Downhills Park. Plus, from Thursday to Saturday, the shop’s open until 10pm and you can order Yard Sale Pizza straight to your table." - heidi lauth beasley

5 Great Things To Eat & Drink Around South Tottenham - London - The Infatuation

"Are you quick on your feet? Do you own a Fitbit? Are you of the general opinion that opening a bottle of wine does not qualify as the entirety of your daily exercise? If you answered yes to any of the above, then congratulations, because you’re in with an excellent chance of getting your hands on one of Perkyn’s sell-out rolls. This cool and casual bottle shop and café does a changing menu of delicious chunky rolls throughout the week. Although, spoiler alert, they tend to sell-out by 2pm so you need to move fast. Stuffed with things like fennel and garlic salami and Old Winchester cheese, grab one of the rolls and a couple beers or a cup of freshly ground coffee and head into Downhill’s Park. Oh, and at the weekend they serve St. John doughnuts and a truly magnificent beef brisket roll. If you, like us, are a somewhat sedentary being and missed the Perkyn’s roll rush, don’t panic. Just pick up a couple craft beers from Perkyn’s and head over the road to cheerful one-man creperie, French Crepes for a big dose of ham and cheese for under a fiver." - Heidi Lauth Beasley

I enjoy coming here a great deal. The staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is calm and relaxed. The coffees are always really good. Perkyn's serves a range of savoury and sweet snacks. The sandwiches are always great but often sell out in busier days or weekends. I'm not vegan but most of the pastries are vegan and are highly recommended by my vegan friends. They also have a fridge with interesting beers in, including alcohol-free options from smaller and independent brewers. This cafe is popular with families, and is dog friendly. They're also openly LGBTQIA+ supportive. The notice board is great, with flyers from local businesses and events.

I go to Perkyns regularly and always feel so much happier for having done so. The coffee is delicious and reasonably priced and they have lovely bread and pastries (though go hungry - they’re huge!). But mostly it’s the staff who are part of the community, greeting people with chat or quietly just knowing what’s needed for different people. Going to a place where they know your coffee order always feels like getting a hug from a friend. Would highly recommend.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming — the kind of place where every person feels comfortable the moment they walk in. The staff always greet you with friendly faces, and the environment has a really nice, relaxed vibe. One of the best things about this perkyns is the cultural mix they bring. They play great background music with different vibes, and it creates a lovely energy in the space. This place isn’t just about good coffee and beer/wine — they also host quiz nights, puzzle nights, and even have board games, which makes it a perfect place to unwind with friends or meet new people. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cosy, friendly café with personality and great service.

One of best Coffee shops in North London! Their coffee is just spot on, with variety of pastries. They also have sandwiches and must-try sausage rolls. Highly recommend it!
