Restaurants With Great Group Dining Options in Montreal

"A dream come true for owners Maxime Perrault and Jessica Goulet, this all-day option has had a lot of buzz since it arrived in Griffintown in 2017. Artfully decorated in a converted  garage and sporting a dining area in the back that’s distinct from its front space, Perles is more than open to reservations for large groups and even happy to accommodate daytime meetings." - JP Karwacki, Erinn Blicher

The Best New Cafés in Montreal (Spring 2020) - Eater Montreal

"Little Burgundy’s Perles & Paddock is obviously not a new restaurant, but what is new here is daytime opening hours as a café (and one with a beautiful space, at that). Expect roasts from Montreal’s Zab, and a solid food game — pastry chef Erik Champagne has a menu of breakfast and lunch options, alongside some sweet treats." - Tim Forster

We absolutely love going here. Never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious, with a diverse menu that offers something for everyone. Every bite is a delight. The staff always greets us with warm smiles and makes us feel right at home. They’re attentive without being overbearing, and their recommendations have never steered us wrong.

This restaurant was so beautiful and the ambiance was fantastic. I went with 2 friends for brunch and it was great. There is a lot of greenery and natural light in the restaurant and various seating arrangements so it feels like each experience is unique. The food itself took a bit long to come out, but I can understand why. Each dish was really well plated and the portions were big. I had the vegetarian eggs Benedict and it was good. I didn’t love the brioche instead of the English muffin but it was still good. The mushrooms and zucchini went well with the hollandaise sauce and eggs. The eggs were also runny which was great. Beware though because when I was not sure what drink to order the waitress suggested the orange juice and thinking it was a regular orange juice I ordered it and when the bill came it was 9$. The orange juice was good but no glass of orange juice is worth that much. It didn’t even come in a large glass. Besides that I didn’t have any complaints.

We went there for Father's Day brunch, and it was great. First time for us, the restaurant is beautiful, with lots of space. Service was some of the best I've had in Montréal, extremely attentive and friendly. This really felt like the sort of attentive service you'd get in a very high end restaurant, which took us by surprise based on how casual and friendly the vibe was. The service was definitely a highlight, especially with our 2 little kids. Food wise, everything we ordered was delicious and presented beautifully. Would 100% come back for another brunch or try out their dinner menu.

You can't tell from the outside but this place is beautifully decorated. The huge skylight and greenery make you feel like you're outside. But the main attractions are definitely the drinks and food. How lovely is it to go out with friends to an omnivore restaurant and have such amazing vegan options! Every single item we tried was amazing and same for the cocktails. Will definitely go back and recommend this to vegans and non-vegans alike! 😙👌

This brunch place has a great menu full of tasty choices. The staff is super friendly and really knows their stuff. Our host could speak four languages and explained everything very well, making us feel right at home in Montreal. We tried the sweet potato waffles with a special breaded egg yolk and eggs benedict, which were both amazing. There’s also plenty of vegetarian options. I’d definitely go back to check out the bar section.

When we reserved a brunch date we had no idea we'd be stepping into a beautifully decorated restaurant with trees, vines and a giant skylight window that made us feel like we were on vacation in mid-February. The forest-like decor was only the beginning of an incredible time. We started with some exceptionally crafted cocktails and mimosas (obviously). Then we ordered our food. WOW. The sweet potato waffles with autumn spices and apricot almost had us fainting from deliciousness and the tender yet crispy, spicy honey fried chicken was among the best we've ever had. Both dishes were packed with a genius mix of intense flavours we haven't been able to stop thinking about. And to top it all off the phenomenal attitude and efficiency of every one of the four people who served us gave us a renewed respect for an industry we thought was dying. We were extremely impressed by every part of our experience and we can't wait to return for supper.

Spacious and sleek spot for brunch with indoor and outdoor seating. We were a group of 8 for brunch and were able to get a nice long table. The food was good, I liked the salmon latke. Would recommend for medium-sized groups of 4-8.

Very cute place. They have a nice looking bar. We came here pretty last minute they had one table left. There drink menu looked very interesting and I ordered the chonchal, and it came in a big sea shell, I loved the concept that some of there drink come in different types of cups. They have an interesting menu, a portion of the menu can be ordered only late on in the evening. We got oysters is was really good, I also got the squash gnocchi is was really good and different and the hummus, this was not good tho, if you have had a middle Eastern hummus this is nothing comparable. I would not order again. The reason I give a 3 * is because the service was really long , we waited almost more then an hour to get served and we were so hungry. I would definitely go back for the drinks tho. If you are ever down for drinks, I recommend this place highly
