Fantastic meal!! The whole experience was a culinary delight! My steak was cooked to perfection and well seasoned. My husband had the pork chop and it lives up to its reputation. Cocktails yummy and dessert selection was a pleasant surprise. Parking is close and easy in the Green Parking garage. Highly recommend for an upscale meal or a special occasion!

Great place for a delicious steak. The ambiance was great, the drink choice was perfect. My steak was textbook cooked Medium Rare. Loved the whole experience. We had a party of six and we ordered the Signature Steakhouse Smorgasbord’s and a few sides and it was plenty for everybody.

There's not a whole lot to say other than this place is tops in quality food and service. And you can get a monstrous yummy pork chop on Fridays for only $20!!! It's an amazing good deal! It's like Costcos rotisserie chicken deal good!! Other than that the long wait, the food is not cheap but you can bet that you won't leave here disappointed, at least I never have! I make this a regular monthly Friday visit, and you should too before others catch on!!

Lovely Dinner experience — Northside of The Domain. Service, food and ambiance were excellent. We stopped in for a quick bite while walking by and really enjoyed everything. Servers, hostesses and managers were friendly, attentive and welcoming. Food was delicious and promptly served even while the restaurant seemed busy. The server teams worked so well together to ensure guests were well taken care of. Lobster bisque was creamy and so good, Seafood stuffed crabs were so flavorful and filling. The Caesar salad was just right with dressing proportions and complimented my meal well. The bread pudding desert was huge and so flavorful. Would return and would recommend.

Perry's is definitely a Texas staple, born out of Houston and now everywhere. They're famous for their pork chop and it's definitely well deserved. Included in my lunch was lobster bisque and bread pudding. All A's.

Every time I go to Perry’s I am extremely impressed with the food. It’s by far some of the best food you can buy for the price. The pork chop was amazing as always. But I was disappointed with the service. It took about 10 minutes before any even spoke to us! It took and 5 to get water another 5 or more to get our bread. After that everything was normal. But, what upset us the most was they allowed someone to bring their dog into the restaurant, and it wasn’t a service dog. And I love dogs I have two. But I could not believe we spend 100’s of dollars on our meal and then we have to sit next to someone with a dog. Petting their dog, dog hair in the air. It’s just very unsettling. And the people next to us just stood up the whole time drinking. It was very unusual and not relaxing. We were not in the bar area. I just would think that in an upscale restaurant like Perry’s there would be better management of situations like these. The food was Awesome though! :)

Perry’s Steakhouse Domain was excellent! I hadn’t been here for lunch on Friday and man it was busy! Get a reservation early as it fills up quickly. I had to order the pork chop because you just have to. So flavorful! The fried asparagus with crab wasn’t my favorite but the cheesecake I’d get again!

I went to Perry’s Steakhouse for Mother’s Day and enjoyed a delicious meal with great service. My sons made a reservation, so we did not have to wait to be seated. The restaurant was very crowded, so the service was a little slow, but that is to be expected on Mother’s Day. From the appetizers to the entrees, everything was very good, especially the seared scallops on a thick strip of bacon and the pork chop dinner. Thank you for a great Mother’s Day with my family.

Yelp
Came here for an anniversary with my boyfriend, Wade was our server. He was excellent! He explained the menu in terms that made us truly understand everything we wanted to know. His service was all around fantastic, from the conversation to the attentiveness. He made us feel comfortable and confident in the menu.

Yelp
Well, this is not my first time to Perry steakhouse but I have to tell you every time is a great time to go to Perry steakhouse from the hostess to the Weight staff to the management. It is very excellently run no matter how busy they are. Everybody is always polite. I have been there when it was packed, barely any room to stand before they set you at your table. The kitchen staff must be superheroes because you never have to wait very long for your food no matter how busy they are and it's always fresh and hot. My Recommendation would be to get the giant pork chop on Fridays which is the one that's pictured in my review the desserts are excellent and the portions are large so you could get one dessert and share it with the whole table and they encourage that. The Perry's I go to is at the Domain and while parking maybe trying at times there are two large parking garages that are just a stone throws away from the restaurant . I would definitely be going back to Perry's for any special event or just to get a nice big juicy steak.

Ramin A.

Yelp
Initially we planned to go to the restaurant across the street, but there was an hour wait so I suggested we go to Perry's. We didn't wait long for a table. I've never eaten here before and I wanted to see what all the hype was about. Being from Dallas I've eaten at some really great steak houses. It was a busy night and we had to wait a while to get greeted and served at the table. We started with cocktails. Espresso Martini (7/10) , Dirty Martini extra olives (5/10) and a glass of Italian Red Wine (9/10). For an appetizer we ordered the Crab Cakes (8/10). Main courses we got the Pan Seared Seabass (9/10) and the 6oz Wagyu Filet (5/10) it was majorly over seasoned and salty. Considering the expensive price I was really let down. We also got a side of the macaroni and cheese (4/10) it was tasteless and basic. In conclusion, I was absolutely dissatisfied. The service was sub par. Never got checked up on and I even had to ask to have my plates cleared after we finished. I expressed my concern with what seemed like a manager, and I never usually do that, and received no help there. And I was still kind enough to leave a tip. So it looks like we have another case of a restaurant that may use to have been great that has majorly fallen off. But the prices haven't .

Nora R.

Yelp
DO NOT GO HERE. There are way better steakhouses around town! We paid over $300 for over-seasoned (the $80 wagyu steak tasted like pure salt), overpriced food, and horrible service -- unfortunately. Huge letdown for date night. Save your coins for a different steakhouse! Will not return.

Doug L.

Yelp
As always, the food is amazing and the service impeccable. If you've not tried the pork chop by far it's the best you'll find in Austin, Texas.

Heather S.

Yelp
This was an incredible experience. Very expensive but Went on a work trip and oh man oh man am I glad we chose this places amazing.. It was a little loud cause it was so busy...but Beautiful restaurant. Server Cody was very nice and handled our request with very little thought. Great food. The pork chops were HUGEEE and full of amazing flavors. I'm not a fan of mushrooms but of course I gave them a try and OMG SOOOO good...great dessert.. So delicious! I definitely see myself going back.

Alex P.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years and years. This place has gone down hill lately. Food became over seasoned like crazy, yes they will re make it - but if you re make it and get it right on the third try that isn't up to par anymore. Hopefully they make better choices soon or they aren't going to be around much longer...

Marsha C.

Yelp
Our waiter was very friendly and has the steadiest hand when pouring liquids. Lunch on Fridays is a super busy time so the restaurant was busy and buzzing. I can see this place being good for a romantic dinner or even a great place for a work dinner. They have had their pork chop Fridays for a long long time now. I remember when it was $12.99 and now it's $19, but still delicious and still the only place I order a pork chop. They don't overcook it. The rib meat is so tasty and they give you apple sauce to eat with the leaner portion. It comes with mashed creamy potatoes. We also tried the bacon burger which was amazing. We will be back again. Tip: make a reservation ahead of time so you aren't waiting forever, especially for pork chop Fridays.

Yelp
My family and I went here over the weekend to celebrate my brother and I birthdays. I have a couple key points from the experience I wanna hit on: Service: For starters, our reservation was at 8:15 and we didn't get seated until 8:45pm or so. It was very busy, so I'll give them that, but we actually had to end up asking if our table was ready because we had been waiting so long to which the hostess exclaimed "Oh, we had been calling you guys for like 15 minutes - I didn't realize you were right in front of me!" Turns out they did call me, but the service inside the restaurant wasn't great so I didn't receive their voicemail until after we left the dinner. I'm not gonna fault them too much for this as it was busy and I did notice afterwards they tried sending me texts while I was in the restaurant saying my table was ready - I just didn't receive them due to poor reception. My family and I still found it a bit odd though, they didn't call our names out or anything considering we were right in front of her for about 30 minutes. Once we sat down though it was smooth sailing! Our waiter gave us a free dessert each and was very attentive. Food: It was delicious! This place is definitely an upscale place to go for special occasions but oh my goddd is the food worth it! Everything was delicious and everyone left happy with full bellies. Ambiance: I personally liked the ambiance - nice, dark and intimate. That being said, my parents were having trouble reading the menu for the exact same reasons jaja, so to each their own! In summary, I'm only docking a star for the late service, but I'd probably go back again on a special occasion. Food was delicious, we loved the comped desserts and everyone had a good time, so that's good enough for me!

Yelp
This visit was very disappointing. Both the food and service were very disappointing. We had a reservation for 3. We had about a 10 minute wait which was not bad but when the hostess walked us to our table, there were only 2 chairs. She said that there were previously 3 and she didn't know who moved the 3rd one. The hostess had to go get a 3rd seat. Our server did not come to our table for another 10 minutes. A table that was sat after us and shared a server with us got service before us. When our server finally came to our table, he only served 2 waters instead of 3. We ordered drinks but the server (Dean) said that they were out of Palomas. No alternative was offered despite that a Paloma is simply tequila and grapefruit juice. At this time we decided to just have apps as mains because the service we were receiving was very different from the tables around us and go eat mains somewhere else where service would be better. The manager checked on all tables around us, some multiple times but never stopped at our table. We finally got bread after one of the other parties asked. All the other parties got bread shortly after their server brought water to their table. Unfortunately our butter had brownish blonde hair in it. Our server apologized and brought more butter to our table. We had to cancel our second order of drinks (wine) because it took 15 minutes for the server to come back. He was attending to the other two tables around us but not to our table. I also added a picture from a previous visit for the pork chop bites. The ones from tonight (5 skewers) were super tiny compared to the previous visit ones. This experience has a one or two out of five stars because it was an all around awful experience. What made it so was observing how other tables with the same service had very different experiences than we had. I have patronized this business several times before and reviewed my experience and this was just not what I'm used to at this location.

Yelp
**food poisoning ** I regret giving this restaurant another try after falling ill my last visit. We decided to sit at the bar, to celebrate my good friend's job promotion. We received the worst service/ disrespect from a tall bartender, I believe to be named Ryan. We have never been treated so poorly! I ordered us a fried lobster appetizer for us to split, and in return received a lobster bisque. When I mentioned this to him, all he did was roll his eyes!! How unprofessional. He left the lobster bisque infront of me, and since I was starving I decided to eat it. To make matters worse I contracted food poisoning! I will definitely not be back.

Yelp
Perry's steakhouse never seems to disappoint. Our server was informative and funny. The tables are always perfectly set. We absolutely love the espresso martinis we got, and the escargot made the meal memorable.

Yelp
Everything was perfect: ambiance, drinks, engaging service, quality of the meal and attentive staff.

Yelp
Our latest visit was for their Friday pork chop special. At 19 bucks this is a great deal. I arrived hungry and left stuffed. For the first time, I finished the entire pork chop. Plus one ate about half of her's which made for a fabulous omelette the next day. I would strongly recommend reservations as it is organized chaos at the host counter. Kudos to the people manning the host desk as they kept everyone informed and seated parties expeditiously. As expected, our chops were fall off the bone delicious. We did order a grilled asparagus side which was OK. Service was wonderful even though they were beyond busy. Pto tip: If you prefer a vodka martini order their Martini 79 made with Belvedere Pure vodka with bleu cheese-stuffed olives.

Yelp
Came in for dinner on the recommendation of the client I was visiting. It's in a nice area, lot of shops and restaurants Very nice inside, dark and elegant like a steakhouse house should be. Was seated right away in a nice table looking into the open kitchen. Service was quick and really nice. Ordered a blooming bourbon drink and reviewed the menu I started with the Lobster tempura , its a 4 oz tail deep fried in tempura batter and put back in the shell. Was very good, little greasy but deep fried usually is. Came with a yummy sauce The specialty of the house is the pork chop, so I had to get it. I love a Pork chop but the wife doesn't, so I get them when I'm out on business. It was the biggest pork chop I've ever seen. They carve it table side and leave you 3 parts, the ribs, the fat part and the loin. I ate all the ribs and the fat, and tried my hardest but couldn't eat the whole thing. It's massive. I ordered the Whipped potatoes side, and they were delicious, very tasty and creamy The Grilled vegetables were just ok, huge chunks of carrot, squash and zucchini grilled For dessert, I ordered the Dessert trio, which is a small bite of vanilla orange cheesecake, lemon bar and chocolate crunch. It was really good and just enough for a taste Service was really good, I had Marc and he was friendly and excellent with recommendations Loved it and will come back again next time I'm in Austin

Ruby T.

Yelp
The service was great, HOWEVER both Wagyu steak and Filet Mignon were extremely salty. Tasteless mac with lobster. The only savory dishes we enjoyed were the lobster bisque and side of potatoes with truffle oil. Crème brûlée was runny but was tasty. The lemon bar had an extra thick crust and was hard to push through the thick crust. This was our 2nd anniversary dinner and walked out dissatisfied. We had nicer experience at Eddie V's for our 1 yr anniversary. Someone needs to check the heavy handed salty person at the back and taste as you go so you know you're delivering excellence. In my opinion.

Allison S.

Yelp
Food 5 stars. Service (bar area) 3 stars. Steak and tater tot bites are phenomal. French onion soup was good. Drinks were good.

Travis C.

Yelp
Food was done perfectly to our liking. The staff was fine but wasn't too attentive but we didn't mind because we had no where else to go. Been here twice and as long as you aren't rushing, it's a great experience. The restaurant is beautiful with lots of ambience and it's at the Domain which is my favourite shopping location.

Laarni C.

Yelp
Had an awesome ugly sweater birthday bash for my friend at Perry's Domain for their all day Happy Hour Sunday, and it was a blast! The outdoor patio was (literally!)--perfect for a cozy celebration. Shoutout to Mary Lee, our superstar server, for being on top of everything. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she made sure the vibes were just right. Now, let's talk about the food--AMAZING! Perry's Domain knows how to serve up a feast. Every dish was a flavor explosion (specially the cowboy rib eye & the gigantic porkchop) , and the presentation was Instagram-worthy. What blew us away was how smoothly they handled our big group. We asked for individual checks, our group was very energetic and had many special requests too. The staff made sure we felt like VIPs without missing a beat. In a nutshell, Perry's Domain is not just a restaurant; it's a vibe. Whether you're celebrating with a few or a crew, it's the spot for good times, great food, and top-notch service. Huge thanks to Mary Lee and the crew for making our celebration one for the books. We'll definitely be back for more fun times!

Yelp
Visited Perry's for their 4 for $44 deal. I got the steak + tater totter bites, wedge salad, perry's famous pork chop and the lemon bar. To drink I got the Pineapple Ginger Mojito. Let's start with the mojito: absolutely delicious. I could've ordered 10. The flavors went together so well making for a sweet yet refreshing beverage. For the steak and tater totter bites, there was such a tiny amount of steak and the tater tots were practically flavorless. The wedge salad, which is my favorite type of salad, was absolutely delicious. There was a tad too much dressing which made my salad extremely soggy as I was getting to the end but overall very good. I had heard so many mixed things about this famous pork chop so I was excited to finally get the chance to try it out. I knew that it was going to be big but considering that this deal included the lunch portion cut I don't even want to think about how big the dinner cut is. Super thick cut and whatever glaze comes over it was absolutely delicious. This did not come with any sides so we ordered some brussel sprouts that were okay but far from the best I've ever had. It did come with a dollop of apple sauce but I didn't try that. Lastly, I had the lemon bar which was the worst thing of the night. Not a fan AT ALL. It is torched vanilla bean meringue and the flavors do not go together well at all. Would never get this or recommend this to anyone. It was the anniversary of a couple in more group, and they got a free dessert to take home. As I didn't like my dessert, they let me take it. I chose the creme brulee and it was PHENOMENAL. I would get this again and again. Overall, was impressed and would definitely return.

Yelp
Food was amazing. The pork chop was cooked to perfection. Super large so you may consider sharing. The staff at this location were wonderful. All in all a great experience. While our daughter enjoyed the seafood tower the most I personally would recommend starting with the BBQ shrimp. Not pictured was the Chateaubriand Three Ways (Description below). That was my husband's favorite. 8 oz. of Premium Center-cut Filet Mignon, sliced into 3 medallions and individually topped Oscar-style with jumbo lump crabmeat, 3-peppercorn au Poivre, and coffee crusted.

Edgar S.

Yelp
OMG!!! The best lamb chops and ribeye you will ever eat! This place was amazing a bit pricey but worth every penny. Try the crab cakes and the stuffed mushrooms. The service was amazing as well and so were the cocktails. This is a must try... bring your wallet : )

Anna G.

Yelp
Came to Perry's Steakhouse & Grille for my 2nd anniversary with my boyfriend and we couldn't have felt more special! The vibes at Perry's are wonderful, romantic, and very special. I felt extremely happy and with a full belly! Perry's is located in the Domain so there was ample garage parking. I always try to come to the Domain on special occasions because there is just so much to do after eating. I made a reservation through Yelp before my visit so getting seated was smooth even during their prime weekend time. There were roses on the table and it was perfectly romantic. The staff at Perry's was very welcoming and helped us go through the menu (it was our first time here!). We ordered the Chateaubriand which is a center-cut Filet Mignon with Truffle Merlot Demiglace, Bearnaise, and Peppercorn Reduction sauce, served with steamed asparagus. We also added a side of three cheese mac and cheese. WOW, the filet mignon was absolutely delicious !! The meat was so tender and rich in flavor. It melted in my mouth and it was buttery. The meat was cooked to perfection, medium-rare. The asparagus was absolutely delicious and the mac and cheese was so creamy! I will be coming back. It was too good not to.

Crystal L.

Yelp
Wow wow, Perry's lunch special for Friday pork chops are a HUGE affair and their service is impeccable! I had made reservations for lunch the day before which is HIGHLY recommended because when we arrived, everyone was swarmed at the host counter trying to get a table. Although we dabbled with other lunch and dinner entree offerings, my husband and I both wanted to try their pork chop friday special which is $19, plus individual side dishes which I ordered one of each. Yum! Complimentary bread service and attentive service and beautiful atmosphere as we were sitting at a high table close to the bar area to people watch from the comforts of inside AC. They have a wonderful drink and wine selection, which we enjoyed some of the crafty mocktails available on menu, and the trio sampler dessert to close was a great sweet treat to wrap up our end of the dining experience before starting our Friday evening plans. Can't wait to be back for the next dining experience at dinner! :)

LaVonne S.

Yelp
We arrived early for our reservation on Saturday. We were seated right away and greeted by our waiter quickly. We were fortunate that our reservation was early as later the place really got busy. We had a wedge salad to start our dinner which was delicious. Of course we couldn't pass up the infamous pork chops and we had the loaded whip potatoes. Having a bite of pork chop dipped in the loaded whip potatoes was incredible! Husband kept commenting how good the applesauce was. As it was our anniversary they gave us a free dessert to share, which we took home the bread pudding. Of course our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. All in all a great way to start the year off!

Jen J.

Yelp
We had a family holiday meal here, it was superb. Our waitress Alex was phenomenal, she made sure we were well taken care of. There were four of us, we had appetizers, dinner and dessert. Appetizer: Pork bites, these were cooked to perfection and served with an apple sauce that was so tasty. Dinners: Ribeye, Perry's Pork Chop, Filet & Lobster and New York Strip. For sides we tried Loaded whipped potatoes, AU gratin potatoes, Three cheese Mac & Cheese and Creamed spinach. The table was also served bread and butter. Everything was perfectly prepared and tasted superb. Desserts: Bananas Foster, Chocolate Crunch and Crème Brûlée. These were simply divine. We also tried one of the signature sodas, pineapple ginger ale. Highly recommend this, was really good. The room we were in was a little loud as there was a large party, but once they simmered a bit it was nice and we were able to carry on a conversation. Absolutely try Perry's!

April C.

Yelp
This Perry's is definitely our favorite for one the ambience and decor are very welcoming they did a great job with the lighting and furniture, we prefer it over the one downtown for this main reason. We were running a bit late ti our reservation but the hostess was accommodating and very friendly on the call. Regarding the food this trip was for Porkchop Friday special, our pork chops were not fully cooked or just bad quality from what we have had before so this trip I would give it a 6 for food but the manger took care of one of the chops and had them remade. Overall we will definitely go back, it was a busy day and I think the staff handled all very well.

Michelle J.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. Every detail of the dinner was superb. Crispy red snapper was outstanding.

Angela M.

Yelp
I had a pair of free pork chop special gift cards so went for an early birthday treat. Everything was impeccable! From the service, to my complimentary orange cheesecake to the refreshing cocktail....and let's not forget the star of the show. Even if I didn't have the gift card I'd gladly come back for more celebrations!

Phoenix P.

Yelp
A classic steakhouse you can't go wrong with. I dine here 1-2x a year and each time I have a great dining experience. The attention to detail is top notch and the service is fantastic. I've been here on different days of the week and different times of the day (afternoons and evenings). Their Caesar salad is delicious as well as their pork chops of course. The ribeye is so good and I love the mac and cheese. If they have the white chocolate cheesecake (it's seasonal), you must absolutely get it. It's absolutely divine! I'm not sure why this location has a 3.5 star rating but I've been going here for years.

Shonel G.

Yelp
Let me start by saying that I like this place. Now that I have said this let's move on to areas in which I wish they would improve. My husband made a reservation to celebrate our engagement anniversary. Our server greeted us and wished us a Happy Anniversary and asked what we wanted to drink. I decided on a Zero Proof drink and my hubby ordered coffee. Our drinks arrived and this is where the fun begins. He was given a nice cup of coffee and a coffee cup full of cream. Let me say that again the cream was served in a large coffee mug. Seemed strange............my husband then asked for a spoon to stir his coffee. He was given an iced teaspoon. This is a nice restaurant, and I was confused by these offerings. We made a few jokes between ourselves and just kind of laughed it off. We ordered the starter and bread was then server. I was surprised a knife was not server with the bread. Since the bread is server with butter it seems only logical that a butter knife be offered.... right? We ordered the spinach dip and found it to be tasty. I would order it again. 3-COURSE PORK CHOP SUNDAY SUPPER ( for a set price). The details reads as follows: Carved tableside on a hot cast iron plate Dinner-cut Perry's Famous Pork Chop with choice of soup or salad and Dessert Trio (substitute dessert for individual side: whipped potatoes, thick-cut chargrilled vegetables OR grilled asparagus) We decided to order the soup, pork chop and then we swapped out the dessert and went with whipped potatoes. Sounds delicious right? It was delicious and seeing how we ordered a starter on top of all that were stuffed and had to take half the food home. The next surprise was when the bill came. We were charged for the pork chop meal and then two soups and two whipped potatoes side dishes. My husband did not notice it at 1st and paid when he went to leave the tip he then realized. It's a bit of a shame on a special occasion you have to go over the bill with the server and explain to them why you think the bill is incorrect. I felt a little bad, when my husband mentioned that if it had been out 1st date he might have just left and not mentioned the incorrect bill. So that he would not spoil the mood of the evening. I think the server should have taken more care when ringing up the bill. The difference in price was about 60 bucks. Perry's I love your restaurant I just feel that more attention to detail would allow the customer to have an even better experience.

Brandon K.

Yelp
Over the last 10 years, I have been to Perry's 10+ times (both locations). Every single time has been for lunch on Fridays. I have also ordered the same thing every single time, and for good reason. They have hands down the best pork chop you will ever find. Although I am a bit sad remembering that it used to be $12, it is still well worth the cost. I truly wish I could know the secret about how they cook it so well, but there are just some things you may never know. The two bone pork rib comes delivered to your table with the perfect glaze on top and cooked to perfection throughout. The side of apple sauce and mashed potatoes will leave you feeling quite satisfied. To top it all off, the fresh baked bread with soft butter just melts in your mouth. My biggest word of advise: cut the shop in half and put half on another plate BEFORE you dig in. If not, you will definitely end up eating the whole plate and roll yourself out the front door when done.

Yelp
Perry's in The Domain in Austin, TX is simply amazing. I ate here back to back nights. The first night was in the bar area with appetizers and bourbon. Steak Tater Tots are homemade tater tots with steak mixed in, however, my wife is vegetarian, so they placed the steak on the side. Perry's bourbon selection is fantastic. I sipped on Eagle Rare and Pappy 15 year both reasonably priced. Night two to proved to be another night of culinary delight. Opened with Filet Beef and Blue...delicious! Brick Chicken for the entree...amazing! And the Dessert Trio to wrap up the evening....perfect! Our server told us that Perry's is a third generation local restaurant and the owner/CEO is know to jump in to a location, grab a towel, and assist the servers as a back waiter. You can tell Mr Perry's reputation for helping the team is greatly appreciated and respected.

Yelp
A friend and I visited Perry's for their very popular Friday pork chop lunch special. At $19 for a lunch portion, I'm left wondering if a dinner portion could serve 3 hungry people (or more!). Perry's is only open for lunch on Fridays. We arrived ahead of our reservation time and were seated promptly in a booth with a view through the glass into the kitchen, but facing out into one of the dining areas. Our server, Aria, was as charming as she was efficient and helpful. We had a loaf of warm bread at the table soon after we arrived. Our orders were taken quickly and delivered quickly. The pork chop was easily 2 1/2" thick, glazed with Perry's signature rub, and smoked. The chop was very tasty, with lots of smoky flavor, but was just lukewarm. The included sides of mashed potatoes and a small vessel of cinnamon applesauce were good. We shared a Bananas Foster dessert ($12). The bananas were nicely grilled, and the sauce was poured at the table. Very flavorful. No flambé, though. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant, busy and bustling in a good way. We greatly enjoyed our visit and brought half of our food home. I wouldn't hesitate to visit again, but only when very hungry. The menu is full of plenty of good-looking entrees other than pork chops.

Yelp
The birthday celebration last night for my younger brother with a large party was an excellent dinner. Started off with the fresh Blue Point Oysters half dozen & crisp Signature Wedge salad with Makers Mark Bourbon on the rocks! The Bone-In Cowboy Ribeye at 22 oz medium was just slightly past requested medium with Oscar Style. My sides for two was the yummy Creamed Spinach & Roasted Sherried Mushrooms that were delicious. My daughter loved the Tower of Fried Shrimp because the presentation was kid friendly wow. The service is top notch and only had one dinner plate delay due to a very large party. A great celebration type dining experience.

Yelp
My first time visiting, I was quite let down by the standard of customer service. The demeanor of the hostess hinted at a rough day, which unfortunately translated into the service I received. Furthermore, my server displayed some sass in response to comments made at the table, despite them not being directed at him. However, despite these shortcomings, I must commend the establishment for their impeccably crafted specialty drinks and delectable desserts. The Lavender Bee Mine cocktail was a standout, and the Seasonal Cheesecake was an absolute delight. Additionally, the lemon bar, and the Rocky Road Bread Pudding desserts were equally just as good. If you come for the lunch special, I recommend sharing, as the portion size of the pork chop with mashed potatoes is quite a lot. It would be beneficial to include an extra side, as the meal only comes with one.

Yelp
Friday lunch is for pork chops! Reservation is a must if you want a guaranteed seat in the main dining area. However, outdoor seating (with a few fans) was available if you can withstand the heat. We ended up finding a seat at the bar as it was first-come first-serve. The service was excellent as always and the drinks were tasty! The pork chops...well, today was very dry and not as hot, which made it even more chewy (even drenched in the apple sauce). Overall, was still good. Enjoy!

Yelp
I frequent Perry's and majority visits are great but this one was absolutely awful. Well the server was absolutely awful and left me with a sour feeling for the establishment. I will never understand a server that wants to go back and forth with a customer. Now I do not believe the customer is always right but I do believe that as a server if you are unsure politely say let me check and verify. It was Friday pork chop day which I have at minimum once or twice per month. I always order the veggies in place of potatoes. Ma'am we don't offer that, the price is so discounted it is absolutely not an option. Sir I literally just ordered this last Friday so I'm absolutely sure I can, no ma'am you can pay for a side. I politely pull out my phone and go to the website to order and what do you know I can absolutely get veggies in place of potato or I can sub for fries or asparagus. No apology, no nothing. Then to top it off not once did you come back to see if we needed anything and as we order dessert you ask to bring the check. No can I get you anything else just the check. Worst Perry's service experience ever. No words

Yelp
We love Perry's! They are very consistent in quality. The food is delicious and is prepared in a timely manner. The restaurant is always very clean and the service is excellent. The seasonal items are always delicious! Some of my favorites are the symphony kabob, Waygu beef (incredible), pork chop bites and the beef and blue. We have eaten here and gotten takeout many times and it's always been a great experience. Highly recommend! It's a great place for a date night!

Yelp
What you would expect from a steakhouse. I did have the crab cake app (blue crab at the time) and a beef carpaccio (highlight), but my friends ordered steaks which they enjoyed. Nothing life changing here outside of the server. She was exceptional... Pacific Northwest native who knew her seafood. Food draws people in, but service keeps you coming back.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible service and food. The Pork Chop is exactly the type of out of this world experience that you've heard about. The server carves the "seven finger" chop right in front of you. It's incredible! Highly recommend the Symphony Kabob if you can't decide what you want. 6oz of filet, shrimp, and lobster with asparagus. Perfect! Order it rare and then allow the sizzling skillet to bring it up to temperature. Great wine list and the servers are exceptional!.

Yelp
Went to Perry's for the first time last Friday. Luckily we had called ahead and reserved a table. The place was packed when we arrived and after checking in we were seated a few minutes later. The dining room was well appointed and lovely. Our server Duke was prompt and took our drink and starter orders. Our drinks arrived quickly and were delicious. We ordered the Friday special of the pork chop which comes with potato mash and applesauce. The pork chop was huge, tasty, and melted in my mouth. Please note that the Friday special is half sized. We upscaled the potatoes to include all the fixings' and they were delicious. I also ordered the asparagus with lump crab meat. It was out of this world good. The only eensie teensie quibble I could find was the noise level of so many people obviously enjoying a perfect luncheon. Of course with such a generously sized pork chop we took our leftovers home to enjoy the next day. (Lovely as leftovers also) We are now big fans of Perry's and look forward to trying more of their lovely menu.

Yelp
This is my second time coming here and it was just as special as the first. Today my fiancé and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary here. Our server was Guadalupe and I have to say, she was friendly, warm, and funny. Honestly, it was like having a friend serve us at their very own fine dining restaurant. Between my fiancé and Guadalupe, it felt like we were the only customers there even though the place was packed. Her attention to detail, he enthusiasm when we told her it was our anniversary... wow! I'm speechless! I even told her, next time we go back, I'm specifically going to ask for her! Thank you!

Yelp
Seriously!! I should have written this months ago!! After an amazing experience with Alex (bartender) for my birthday months ago and calling her manager to sing her praises, i totally forgot !! Well, we found ourselves wanting to celebrate my late dads birthday somewhere familiar and delicious, so we chose Perrys... we are bar people so we don't make reservations, so we popped in in Thursday night and the bar was packed! After managing to find 2 seats, we had another amazing experience with Alex and Andres! Honestly, the food, the wine, the conversation with other guests and the incredible service made the whole night!! From Brian, the manager, the bartender team and the new food runner Josh, AMAZING!!!! Price point happy hour and regular menu is what you would expect from a tried and true steakhouse... while there's tons of options for dining in Austin, I absolutely love the consistency in the food and service at Perrys over the last 25 years (in my experience with Perrys)!! Go now !!

Yelp
Perry's never let down! When you go to a five star restaurant, this is what you expect! The food was amazing! The way the plate was served was phenomenal. We went for my boyfriend's birthday with family and the minute you walk in your feel welcomed! Ambiance? 10/10! If I could dine here every week, I would. It it expensive so be dealt to spend at least $100 the minimum.

Yelp
Not my favorite steakhouse in town, not even in my top three, but definitely a quality restaurant with quality service. Pretty standard fare for a fine dining steakhouse. Not special or stand out for what it is but still good. It is not as intimate as my other favorite steakhouses in Austin and tends to be a little loud. You won't be disappointed though.

Yelp
Celebrated a friend's birthday at Perry's Steakhouse, and it was an exceptional evening. As soon as we arrived, we were promptly seated on the beautiful outdoor patio, which proved to be a perfect choice given the pleasant weather with a cool breeze and comfortable temperature. To kick off the festivities, I decided to try the Perry Berry Mule, and it turned out to be a delightful and sweet concoction. Now, here's the interesting part--I decided to be adventurous and order the Steakhouse Brick Chicken, despite being in a steakhouse. Surprisingly, it arrived at our table looking remarkably like a steak! The taste, however, was beyond words--simply amazing. To complement our main course, we also ordered a side of asparagus for the table, which added a fresh and vibrant element to the meal. The overall atmosphere was fantastic, creating a delightful ambiance that enhanced the celebration of my special day. Perry's Steakhouse provided us with a great time, offering a perfect blend of delicious food, friendly service, and a charming setting.

Yelp
Came here for our anniversary and a big celebration about something else. Our dinner was early at 5:30pm and there was hardly anyone there yet they sat us at an undesirable spot where everyone walks by even though tons of tables were open. We had planned to get the pork since that's what Perry's is famous for but others told me to go during lunch instead when it's half off. Fried asparagus with crab: 4/10 I hate to say it, but this is what they're famous for and I would not order again. It's heavily bartered like a corn dog batter, overly salty and crab was not something you'll ever remember eating. Hard pass on this; I wish we got something else. Pork skewers: 7/10 This is the pork they're known for but we got it as appetizers to taste since we weren't ordering the entree. It was pretty flavorful but I'm very glad we got it as an appetizer because I probably wouldn't order it unless it was the lunch special. It's fine and flavorful but pork just isn't my thing. NY Steak 9/10: we shared this 14oz entree and it was the perfect amount with everything else. Perfectly cooked, flavorful with good sauces on the side (we only liked the merlot sauce best). Very juicy and flavorful! Mac and cheese: 9/10 Great dish that I'd order again. Flavorful without being extremely heavy. Rocky road breading pudding: 5/10 Too salty, way too heavy and the marshmallow was cool but would have tasted better with ice cream to lighten up the density and saltiness. I wouldn't order again but it makes a cool pic. Stags Leap Cab from Napa: 8/10 Hint of fruit; I enjoyed it Perry's Reserve Cab from Sonoma: 7/10 a bit more "woody". I enjoyed this but the other was a tad lighter. Service by Mariah was good. She was nice, polite and took pics of us which I appreciated. Overall I think Perry's is a bit overrated after hearing several people rave about them. Next time I'll try some other dishes and see if it changes my rating. I think if we weren't right at the corner of everyone walking right next to us, I could have pushed this to 4 star but I'd give it 3,5.

Yelp
Regrettably, we had a very unfortunate experience with Perry's this holiday season. We had planned to have our company party here as we had done years before. We made the reservation, put down the deposit and were prepared to show up with our group and enjoy the celebration. 10 minutes before our reservation, an employee had arrived early and was told the reservation had been canceled that morning to our surprise. Still en route, we panicked and called the restaurant right away; they informed us that while the deposit had been received, the contract had not. It must have slipped through the cracks on our end, we will own that. But instead of calling us, they went ahead and cancelled it the morning of the dinner. As we scrambled, trying to figure out what to do during the holiday rush with our employees already at the restaurant, we reached out to Tara whom had been assisting us in the weeks leading up. When we spoke to her we were met attitude and a deep lack of empathy for the predicament we were now in. Accepting defeat, I kindly asked her to next time call before canceling, to which she nodded and gave me a "smile", the type that I could tell she was saying some less than kind words in her head at me. Tacky and belittling. I know it's the holiday season, people are busy and stressed, but I hold the service industry especially the caliber of a restaurant such as Perry's, to a higher standard. We are just deeply disappointed by this and sadly now have soured view of Perry's.
