Best Restaurants in Franklin, Tennessee | Eater Nashville

"Tennessee’s first location of the Texas-based Perry’s chain is in Franklin’s burgeoning McEwen Northside complex. Clocking in at a roomy 11,000 square feet, the elegant grill house has grown a loyal local following thanks to its butcher-fresh USDA Prime aged beef, signature tableside carvings, and flamed desserts. Don’t miss the restaurant’s famous pork chop either — it’s cured and slow-smoked for up to six hours with pecan wood then glazed, caramelized, and topped with signature herb-garlic butter." - Eater Staff

This was my first time coming to this restaurant. And let me say that it was nothing short of amazing 🤩. From the greeter (hostess) to my awesome server Solomon and the oh so nice food server and the young lady that brought my special drink to me, including the manager herself…they kept checking on me and asked if I needed anything….wonderful staff and delicious food! Didn’t have a long wait on my food and it came out delicious and fresh. In fact, it was so much, I had to get a to go box(es), which they will pack up for you. Very comfortable and peaceful atmosphere. Great for couples (romantic ambiance)! Will go back!

Very good meal, great service. Ate for a group lunch and the restaurant was packed. Had the crab cake, and pork chop bites for appetizers. I thought the crab cakes were very good. The pork bites was about 6-8 toothpicks with 3 pork squares each. I had the Ribeye which was cooked correctly and was very flavorful and seasoned well. I had the bread pudding for dessert which was very good but extremely rich and could benefit from being offered some vanilla ice cream to cut the richness. It is a good meal but be prepared for the high cost that comes with it.

My first experience at Perry’s was amazing. Upon entry I was greeted and notified that I did needed a reservation but the front desk hostess immediately got me situated for a table of one in about 5 mins tops. After I was seated I was greeted by a host named Natalie who was very polite and friendly and knowledgeable of the menu had I needed any questions answered. I started off with an appetizer which was the “Steak & Tater Totter bites” which were a 10/10. The crispness of the tots and the tenderness of the steak made them super savory and enjoyable. Highly recommended for a starter. Next I ordered a 10oz Filet mignon medium well which was cooked to perfection in which I preferred. I also had a side order of loaded mashed potatoes and truffle fries which were amazing. I almost forgot to mention, but the complimentary bread was also very light, warm and delicious along with the whipped butter that came with it. Throughout the night my glass of water never stayed empty because several hostess refilled my glass as needed. In all I give this steakhouse a 10/10 for food, service and ambience. Perfect for date night or family time.

Came for a birthday dinner for my wife, we really enjoyed everything. We had the pork chop skewers Beef carpaccio, for appetizer. I had the tomahawk steak, my wife had the filet with crab, friend ls had the porckchop and steak trio. We all had dessert, everything was wonderful. Our Server Mary Kay did an excellent job and needs to be recognized.

So this is normally one of my favorite places to dine. We literally have driven down for a day trip, just to eat here. The pork chop is still as delicious as always and worth the drive. However, the cook dropped the ball on the lobster bisque and other sides. They were cooked well as always, but too heavy on the salt. I don't mind salt but, when it supercedes the taste of the actual food that's a problem. On another note, our waitress was as sweet as could be.

We went here for a Christmas lunch with our family! We all had the popular pork chop and it was amazing! The environment was very nice and we had a wonderful lunch with our family. It is a very popular place and parking was a little hard. We were able to find an open spot since we got there early. However, some of our family had to park in the back parking and they had to pay to park. I would also suggest reservations since it was popular! But we loved it! Also! They have a special on Friday’s at lunch only where you get the pork chop for half of the dinner price!

Went for a birthday dinner. Would have loved if they were asked if I wanted a booth or a table in the middle of the floor. The service was excellent. We arrived a little early. Had drinks at the bar. I feel it was a little overpriced, and the food was bland. Spent over $200 easily, not including bar. We started with the pork chop bites(3 skewers) and crabcakes (u only get 2). I had the surf n turf pasta. Which is lobster tail and steak spaghetti. My husband had the dinner pork chop. We got the shareable sides mashed potatoes and the mushrooms. The sides comes separate then you're meat. I did get a free design for my birthday 👏.

A1 review We spent our first Thanksgiving together here for dinner and an excellent choice all around. Parking plenty with a valet option. Outside absolutely beautiful and tucked away. The establishment is definitely date night grown friendly and clean. Perfect lighting. 10/10 Mary Kay was our waitress and a vet! Great recommendations and a little patience as well! 6/10 The bread was a little too crunchy for my liking plus it makes a mess but definitely great to have. I do prefer a herb or honey butter. 8/10 Chargrilled oysters were a different flavor than I've had before but I liked them. The oysters were meaty. 9/10 I like a more creamy spinach dip but definitely alot of spinach and flavorful. We enjoyed it. Entrees- 8/10 Redfish would have been perfect with a little crisp to it but definitely filing. Need a few more yummy asparagus on the side! 8/10 The only down side to my perfectly chargrilled steak was it was a little chewy but packed alot of flavor and the char was top tier! 10/10 au gratin potatoes yum! The pineapple ginger ale was full of sweetness I had to add water a few times. I definitely would visit again and try something else.

Yelp
Always a wonderful experience at Perry's. Very busy on a Sat night so our reservations were on the early side which was great because we finished by 7pm. Celebrating our Auburn graduate with cocktails, appetizers, salad, entrees, and dessert. Filet mignons and Sea bass were outstanding. Corn crème brûlée was a nice addition to the menu. Topped off with a rocky road bread pudding left everyone feeling delightfully full. The ambiance and the waitress were top-notch.

Yelp
Can't back here again for dinner. Sat at the bar while waiting for our other party to arrive. I had the blueberry cucumber martini. It was really good. Very refreshing! Hubby asked for something they didn't have but the bartender said he could make him something similar. He didn't like it. Service at the bar was underwhelming. Wanted an app and another drink but the gentleman that waited on us never returned. Our bill was provided with our drinks so I guess he decided we'd had enough. Dinner at our table was excellent. Our server, Solomon, was fabulous! My husband's filet was cooked perfectly. The lobster bisque was fantastic. I noticed in my last review that they brought me the wrong drink. This time they brought my husband the wrong drink. Not sure why they have a problem with that. My other issue is that they don't allow substitutions even if you have an allergy. Pretty ridiculous for what they are charging. I love the atmosphere in here. Great place to go with friends. It was super busy on a Saturday night. Make reservations!

Yelp
Perry's Steakhouse never disappoints! I had the famous pork chop with mashed potatoes, and as always--it never misses. The Friday special is a deal you absolutely can't pass up. The service is consistently professional and friendly, making the whole dining experience even better. Everything was delicious--from the fresh baked bread to the wedge salad and creamy spinach sides. The atmosphere is romantic and elegant, with moody lighting that makes it perfect for date night or a special evening out. A true gem in Birmingham--highly recommend Perry's for anyone who loves great food, great service, and a beautiful setting.

Yelp
I was there today and ordered a to go Famous Pork Chops friday, since I ordered quite a few I decided to have an appetizers while waiting, I ordered a cup of Lobster bisque and Pan-Seared Scallops served on a bacon slab, the soup is too salty and it took away the taste of the bisque, same with scallops and bacon slabs, I asked for a bread if I can get some and I was told it will be awhile? People that just came after me have their bread served, and breads keep coming but none was given to me, so I asked again, nothing.... until I finished eating nothing has been said about it. I know it's just a bread, is it just me? Very disappointing how it was played.
google avatar

Yelp
My boyfriend and I split the pork chop for the Friday deal. As always, it was tender, sweet and delicious. Super affordable and was plenty for both of us. We didn't even finish our loaded whipped potatoes even though they were great! The crispy bacon is the best part. Great ambiance for a nice lunch or dinner with attentive staff.

Yelp
Our first time at Perry's for a holiday and it did not disappoint! Thanksgiving day a 3:30 reservation was perfect! The restaurant was surprisingly full of guests! We were seated promptly and the service was great. I had the filet and lobster. The steak was cooked perfectly as well as the lobster tail being well seasoned. We had to ask for drawn butter and it was brought out unmelted but with a candle and ramekin to melt table side. We shared sides of Brussels sprouts and scalloped potatoes, both were delicious. I had a lemon drop martini which was done well. My husband got to enjoy a smoked table side bourbon drink that he thoroughly enjoyed. We ended our dinner with a lemon bar tart cake which was VERY tart and very yummy. If you're apprehensive about dining out on a holiday, do it at Perry's, you will be glad you did!

Yelp
NEVER AGAIN!! Our reservation was at 4:15 on a Tuesday. It took forever for them to get us seated. We knew what we wanted when we walked in despite ordering immediately our food arrived over an hour late. We thought we were coming there to have dinner as a family but because of another commitment at 6:30 we had to leave because that's exactly how long it took our food to arrive. Management didn't seem to really care about it either. I will never come back here! I've even hosted corporate meetings here and come here pretty regularly in the past this was hands-down, the worst service and lack of empathy I've ever seen from management ever. Unless you have several hours to wait for your meal, no matter how busy you're slow I would not recommend going here. Wish I could post a picture of food but never saw it.

Yelp
A friend of mine was staying at the Doubletree Hilton, which is right next to Perry's so we decided to walk over and have dinner on a Monday evening. It was memorial day so it really was not that busy. Our server was Milkiles. He was so professional and personable. He kept our drinks filled and was very attentive. I love how there's low lighting in there and it seems very intimate even though it's a pretty big restaurant. I decided to go with the Wagyu fillet, and my date ended up having the Wagyu prime rib eye. We ordered the sides for Two, the mac & cheese, and the truffle fries. That was probably one of the best steaks I've ever had. We left there feeling full and very fulfilled. The bar area is really nice. It's definitely something on my list to go back and sit at the bar or the bar area. The bathrooms were very clean. If you haven't been yet, I would definitely try it out. It's right off of Highway 280.

Yelp
I asked my mother where she wanted to go for Mother's Day and she wanted to go to Perry's. I've been there several times before and have always had a great meal, so I was happy to go back. The food was pretty good. The pork bites were small, but delicious. The wedge salad was really good, however it was literally swimming in a pool of salad dressing at the bottom of the plate. I had the sea bass which was pretty flavorless, .so I see why the fish is plated with several sauces and corn. My brother had the salmon which was really tasty. My mom had the chicken Oscar and she really enjoyed that. The honey sriracha brussel sprouts were r amazing! The Mac and cheese was pretty good; the noodles were overcooked. The service was as the standout of the night. From the valet, to the hosts, to the bartenders to the food rummers, everyone was so polite and professional. I do have to give a special shout out to our server, Emily. She was amazing. She anticipated our needs. Like the others, she demonstrated pure professionalism and was so kind. Thank you all for a great dining experience.

Yelp
Our table loved the calamari, pork chop bites, and filet beef & bleu -- all flavorful and perfectly prepared. The Caesar salads were fresh and surprisingly outstanding. My wife's grilled salmon was cooked beautifully, and my ribeye with chargrilled veggies, corn brûlée, and mac and cheese was incredible. We finished with the pumpkin cheesecake, which was the perfect ending. Great service, great atmosphere, and consistently excellent food. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We always have a 5 star dining experience at Perry's. The food here is absolutely delicious 10/10! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the Filet Perry(it's topped with steak butter and crab meat and served over asparagus) and the Corn Brûlée as my favorite side. Oh, the loaded mashed potatoes are delicious as well. I was so afraid to try the corn, I thought it would be to sweet because it's brûlée, boy was I wrong. The corn is bursting with flavors. Our server who recommended the corn was also a sweetheart. I hate that I can't remember her name (Maybe Olivia) , but the young lady had braces, and she was very helpful and also made other great recommendations, including the cocktails. Overall Impression is key, and the dining area is definitely a beautiful one. This place is an absolute must try if you are ever in Birmingham Al, I know I'll certainly be back again soon.

Yelp
We had reservations and were seated promptly at our reserved time. Our soup, salad and bread were all served promptly and were very good. After finishing our soup and salad we sat, and waited. Over 35 minutes later we received our entrees. During this time we also did not get refills on our drinks. When we did get our food there was no apology, just an exasperated statement that they were very busy with a large party. The food was good, as it usually is, but the service really let us down. The ambiance has also changed. The dining room seemed very crowded and noisy. It was hard to have a conversation. Additionally, when we received our check, we were overcharged by over $30. They corrected the ticket and said the system sometimes does that, he wasn't sure why. Overall, not the exceptional dining experience I have come to expect from Perry's. If I'm in the area I may dine here again, I'm just not sure it is still worth the drive from Huntsville.

Yelp
Husband's company Christmas dinner small party of 12 in a private room which was nice and pretty decor for the holidays excellent food as always but the service was slow like really slow. My other wait a second was the way folks were dressed as they do have a dress code but a lot of patrons were extremely underdressed. Will go again and hope for more timely service.

Yelp
Perry's has fantastic options on their menu for vegans and those who are gluten-free alike. The vegan "steak" is a hit! Yum. I really appreciate that they provide this in a posh experience, because people of all dietary accommodations deserve to be accommodated as well. I highly recommend going here for your vegan friends who want to feel included in omnivorous food activities based in an upscale establishment. I took a picture of a person at our table's food because it's so pretty - which 100% means their presentation is on point too!

Yelp
It's been awhile since I've eaten at Perry's Steakhouse & Grill at the Colonnade. So on this day we are having a small gathering to celebrate a friend's divorce anniversary. That is another story for another time. Our half of the group waited in the bar for the other half of our party to show up. Perry's has a great bar and really nice bar tables for couples or 4 small people...after most of consume a 2 to 3 of Mimosas and or Bloody Mary's - our group was adequately marinated for lunch as the other late half of our group gets checked in. Most decided to do the Thursday Lunch Specials, this was some really good reading while I was getting seasoned at the bar. This was a complete surprise, as well as other events and happy hour specials looked very appealing. This is my first lunch at Perry's, We got started with a couple of tasty appetizers, the Tuna Tartare and the Artichoke, Leek and Potato Soup with Truffle Oil = Fabulous! One of my favorite's, the Tuna Tartare was delicious as it was the last time I got it. Very impressive. A couple of us had the lunch special pork chop for $19.00. This is served with garlic mashed, apple sauce, with a couple of different sauces including an apple sauce and butter with a fat piece of fresh bread. All the sides were simple, very good and paired well With Pork-Chop and suggest wine. The Lunch Pork-Chop portion is 16oz/1LB. Plenary of food ! My first Perry Pork Chop. The caramelized pork skins covering the ribs on the chops was incredible. . By the way, The Pork-Chop dinner portion is 32oz/3lbs. They also have New Prime Rib that's caramelized on the that looks really good. Maybe next time. The service was excellent and prompt. Enjoy

Yelp
The food was amazing. I ordered the beef Wellington my wife got the rib eye both were cooked to perfection. Our waitress Stacy was just as amazing as the food . Constantly checking on us making sure we were pleased with our orders and drinks . And the setting is very relaxing with low lighting that really sets the mood .

Yelp
Perrys is such a great place for special occasions! They have a variety of special cocktails - all of which have been delicious. The wedge salad is a must try as well the pork chop! The pork chop will forever change your view of pork chops and makes it hard to get one anywhere else! It is amazing!! The space is great and always well maintained with a lively atmosphere. The service I have received has been optimal every time! Definitely worth checking out for your next celebration!!

J L.

Yelp
We hoped for a special night. it was anything but. Food service was haphazard. Food not all arriving at the same time. wrong items brought. wrong steak. overcooked steak. food got cold waiting on the rest of the food to arrive. There was no effort to ameliorate the situation. $400 later dinner is a drag and no special night. Not worth saving up. splurge somewhere else.

Melody T.

Yelp
We love Perry's and we love to sit at the bar. Tonight, I will have to say that we felt totally invisible. Our Bartender was totally into the young lady next to us and we were totally ignored. Not appreciated at all. We had to keep asking for service.
google avatar

Jared H.

Yelp
This was a wonderful dinner. The Escargot starter was succulent, and with miniature puff pastry baked right on top. The drinks are from heaven. The steak was a perfect medium rare, with a hot red center. It was a little busy for a Wednesday evening, so they may have been short staffed, as service was a tad slow (the star deduction). I was surprised there were no assistant waiters. We will be back!

Yelp
Challenged, I'm wanting to be accurate in this review and not disrespectful to the many reviewers ahead of me. This is by far not our 1st high end chain or Chef driven restaurant, so without any more dribble. Atmosphere: Very nice Service/Staff: Awesome, Thanks Solomon Entree: Steak above reproach; Salmon Ok Appetizers: Ok Salads: Ok Wine selection: Good Deserts: Above Average We are not feeling a return visit, that could change, Solomon, Steak & Deserts might give us a call.

Yelp
Friday night at Perry's, flawless. Arrived an hour and a half early to our reservation, went into the bar and found open seating, had a seat. Asked hostess to move us up an hour IF possible, "no biggie". Enjoyed an incredible round of cocktails at the bar. Move to dining room - My new friend Maxwell, our waiter, he wasn't good, he was epic. He carried the whole thing, and I'd been preparing for a week for what I wanted. But I wanted valuable opinion of what's what, and I got it. Wine was easy. Dinner was easy, I got the chop. BUT, I ask questions so I did.. he ran through the entire pork chop on which portion to eat first, epic advice. I'd drive over from MS every weekend if I could. Job WEELLLLLLL done by start here. Kudos BIG time.

Yelp
Outstanding!!! Our waiter was Dave, and he was outstanding. Made good suggestions and checked on us during the meal. My wife had the 32 oz. pork chop, and said it was the best she had ever had.! And she is a connoisseur of pork chops. She also loved the creme brulee. My ribeye steak was excellent. I also had the grilled vegetables. Again they were outstanding. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
We were here a few days ago to celebrate our neice birthday. It was a group of 14. We were seated at two tables behind one another, probably should have gotten a party room. The restaurant is really nice & elegant Our server was really sweet & she knew the menu when asked a question.. The only issue was we had to send our steaks back, ordered med-well and got what looks like to be medium cooked. And when the food came back out my lobster tail was cold but I didn't send it back because I didn't want to wait. They could of at least put it in the warmer for the prices we paid!

Yelp
Service and dinner was phenomenal! Stopped in Birmingham overnight and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, the customer service, cocktails and food was amazing. We loved our selections and the recommendation from our server. We opted to sit in the bar at a booth looking into the bar and out to the fire pit and patio. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant for a night out with the girls or a romantic dinner.

Yelp
Perry's steakhouse was A1! I was immediately greeted upon arrival to the hostess stand. I arrived a few minutes before my reservations and was seated promptly at the time of the reservation. The ambience of the restaurant was lovely, upscale and perfect for a special occasion. Our waiter was thoroughly in explaining the meal options. He even helped my friend choose what kind of steaks to try. I enjoyed all my food and ultimately had no leftovers to take home. The white chocolate cheesecake dessert was phenomenal.

Yelp
Everything was great . Our table was ready when we arrived and we were seated early. Our server was very obliging and helpful. All our dishes were simply delicious. Great setting for a good dinner. Highly recommend for a special celebration.

Yelp
OMG! All I can say. We were in town for a concert and wanted to have a nice dinner since we hadn't been out in quite a while. We made a reservation online for that evening and when we arrived, the complimentary valet parked our SUV full of toddler toys and snacks-how embarrassing! "Don't mind the Cheerios sir!" But it was windy and the parking lot was full so this was a welcome service. We didn't wait long to be seated and were immediately greeted by our server. All night long we were amazed at the dishes that were passing by. There were things on fire lol, balancing acts with the drinks and skewers full of meat. The staff was friendly and the manager was actually walking around helping his team and greeting customers. We started with an Espresso Old Fashioned and this Spicy drink our server recommended-both delicious. I could have had those all night! Our appetizer was the spinach and artichoke dip-perfectly melty and crispy with actual seasoning(!!!-if you're one of those people who want water chestnuts, sorry!), then for our entrees we ordered the Chargrilled Salmon-cooked perfectly (I'm still kicking myself for missing this in our to go bag and it not making it to the fridge. Sorry hubby! ) and Vegan Steak-first of all a vegan option at a steakhouse?! Points. It had delicious seasoning and although I've never had steak, I felt like a professional lol, with the Mac and cheese-so creamy and Brussels as sides-my least favorite if I had to choose something. They were a little soft but the seasoning was amazing. For dessert we ordered the Nutty D'Angelo and Bread Pudding. The D'Angelo was flambéed table-side which was so fun to watch. The Bread Pudding was massive with a full layer of homemade marshmallow on top. Listen, this place is a 15/10. It's a total date night vibe but don't half step on those coins or those clothes because it is pricey and it has a dress code. BUT it is worth it. I can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Yelp
Paris is an upscale steakhouse. The offerings are à la cart and each side item is large enough for two or three people, so keep that in mind when you order. The ambience is upscale. Dress well when you come here or you'll be uncomfortable if you wear anything lower than business casual. The servers anticipated my needs and made me feel welcome and valued. There's plenty of parking. Make reservations. Bring money.

Yelp
I hadn't been to a Perry's in ages. (Last one was in Houston near a decade ago, I think, and I certainly know i didn't get the pork chop or I'd have remembered). Let it be said, I almost never order a pork chop but my buddy I was having dinner with insisted on it, and he wasn't wrong. The appetizers (scallops and calamari were only decent - 2 or 3 stars at best), but the pork chop made up for the lackluster start to the meal. I'd rate the restaurant 4 stars I'm rating this insane pork chop 5 stars all the way. Best I've ever had.

Yelp
I had to try it. Everyone told me this place was good. By my wife's idea we went for my birthday. I will have to say this is a place I will come back too. Wagyu steak was top notch. Loaded mashed potatoes were good but the Brussel sprouts were great. Jamie was a great server. She was definitely seasoned here. Great place to have you will have to try. Nice date night idea in Birmingham.

Yelp
Last night we decided to grab a bite at the bar. Steven was great! I had ordered a bourbon drink from their specialty cocktail menu and he forewarned me that it was very sweet. So instead, he make a bourbon drink that had just the right amount of sweet. So good, I had two! I didnt catch the female bartender's name but when I inquired about the escargot dish, she was spot on (it was also one of her favorites). It was unlike any other escargot I've had. The escargot was cooked in their French onion soup and OH MY! There was French onion soup in the serving dish and don't forget the puff pastry! I didn't get a pic! The tuna tartare was refreshing and seasoned perfectly! My husband had the steak and tater tots...forewarning for those who do not like mayo, it has a garlic aioli and we didn't think about that...husband will get it without next time. The Wagyu satay was devoured...he said the peanut really enhanced the flavor! This is the first time we sat at the bar, previous visits were in the main dining room. Will definitely pop in the bar again!

Yelp
Briana was our server and she was awesome. Friendly helpful and truly a gem. All food cooked to perfection. Good value for the prices. You could dress up or business casual for sure .

Yelp
I've heard about this place for years as I passed through Birmingham to and from Atlanta. I finally decided to stop by, I had the steak for an entree and it was great but the highlight of my night was the Hog Hattan!! Who thought of this!! All of the ingredients marry so well together! the vibe was elegant, romantic yet you could still get a relaxed vibe at the bar. Great restaurant, I encourage everyone to try it at least once!

Yelp
Had. to. come. back. to. my. favorite. & yes, we were loyal to sticking to the perry's filet because it IS JUST THAT GOOD! However, for our sides we were spontaneous & tried the truffle fries which were amazing! As a starter we also tried the spinach & artichoke dip which was great!!! Chips were warm & delicious! Our server could have been better but food was great :))))

Yelp
This was the main event for my birthday. I loved the service and ambiance. They gave me a birthday card. I ordered three sweetest wine that they have and it was delicious. My boyfriend and I bother ordered a steak. The steak was perfect to order. I tried a creme brûlée for the first time and it was absolutely delicious! I got the dessert for free for my birthday. I would definitely come back for a special occasion.

Yelp
I will start off stating the service was impeccable. Our server was very attentive. The place is spacious enough and very beautiful. Everything we tasted was delicious. This was my first visit but my husband has been here several times for business dinners. The pork chop bites are an absolute must as an appetizer. We also had the New York Strip, Ribeye and crab cake. My husband ended the night with cheesecake. I would love to visit again before leaving Birmingham.

Yelp
*Update* 1/31 General Manager has reached out apologizing for my bad dinner experience. Notes were given, taken and a learning experience moving forward. GM did refund my steak price, I appreciate you doing so. If I ever find myself in town again I'll be sure to give it another try. Thank you *Original* Long flight and 3 random recommendations I'm here. Super excited to give a try! Place was beautiful! My waiter name was Jonathan, there were no specials for the night but he made a few recommendations for items. ALL of which I ordered. I did explained to him I'm always weary on trying the steak because most places mess it up when two different steak temps are requested at same table but he assured me they would get it correct. Especially being a steak house : ) he advised me to place my order now since kitchen was running long ticket times. Surprisingly everything came up super fast! Oh well it's late I get it. Food time; Crab cakes were good, like the straws on top- different than I normally get up north. French onion great as well a little more cheese, but overall good! As for my steak the "Three King" it was incorrectly cooked. After waiting for utensils I was able to cut a few pieces middle, end and sides so he could see how over cooked if was. I requested medium rare & it was more medium but mostly medium well. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING EXTREMELY. So that pushed to the side & not ate. Of course Jonathan apologized & said maybe they messed up since other steak was undercooked slightly. So I was able to eat some steak off while thinking another steak was being prepared correctly. The Mushroom side was super hot & tasted AMAZING (best thing I had) so glad I ordered those! I substitute the asparagus for mashed potatoes (he said he likes his loaded so you already know I took his recommendation again). Those were good also, nice job there! I asked for dessert since I was still hungry & steak was no longer an option given the time. The flourless chocolate cake- good choice. He did comp. the dessert my guess for steak inconvenience. We know a $12 dessert/$59 steak doesn't compare in price but I wasn't going to say anything. Paid the $258.93 tab and left. Maybe this place was having a bad night I'm not sure but I was beyond disappointed w/food only.

Yelp
The Caramelized Prime Rib on Thursday night is so over seasoned it's almost inedible. The wedge was just OK. Overall was disappointing for $103 meal with gratuity. Service was outstanding and they offered to replace the Prime Rib. I throughly enjoy spice and heat on my food. This was over done.

Yelp
We came for my birthday and it did not disappoint!! The service is always perfect, the pork chop is hands down the best thing I've ever ate. Definitely try the asparagus appetizer too!

Yelp
This place never disappoints! Had the ribeye, mushrooms, gratin potatoes, and crème brûlée with a great Italian dry red wine.

Yelp
What a fantastic time! Gorgeous setting, great service, & food! Our server Milkiles was spot on with suggestions and attention to great service. Went with their famous Pork Chop and easy to see why it is so. A full presentation and then they carve up for the 3 sections of the meat. It was a savory experience! The sides are separate from the entrees. The signature fried asparagus had nice meaty pieces of jumbo lump crab. The creamed spinach was great flavor.

Yelp
If you go, try the pork-chop, the serving is more than enough for two people to share and bring home leftovers. The service is top tier with everyone knowledgeable of both the specials and regular offerings. We sat at the bar for cocktails before our reservation and we split an appetizer, chargrilled oysters. This is a nicer restaurant but you wouldn't be out of place at the bar in your work wear. It is beautifully lit and romantic.

Yelp
Went tonight and the fact that this place calls itself a "steakhouse" is a crime. I have been all around the world and I have had steak in places that were terrible, but I didn't expect them to be great because they were NOT called steakhouses. My son had some sort of steak. I don't even know what it was. He took about six bites out of this thing and it was at least 40 to 50% fat and gristle. I had a New York strip 14 ounce and I would say at least 9 to 10 ounces of that steak was complete garbage. One thing to know this was an almost $400 meal after tip. I mentioned to the waitress that the steak was probably the worst steak I've ever had and she laughed. I won't mention her name. She was very sweet and service was great but after traveling everywhere from Italy to Egypt to Spain to the UK all over the planet, I can honest without a doubt say that Perry's steakhouse was the worst steak I have ever had! If you come here expecting to have a good steak? Don't plan on it. It was absolutely the worst experience from a steak person's perspective I have ever had and I paid $55 for this piece of meat and I paid I think $65 for my son's meat that was actually more like a spare tire. The steak I had was so bad that you could not chew a piece and swallow it. Every slice was so gristly that it inedible. You can see that throughout the meat it was thick fat on the edges and gristle. So last night I stopped at a local meat market and bought two regular NY strips and grilled them. $24 for both and they were perfect. Don't waste your money at Perry's. Also, the place is so loud you can't have a conversation with your own people. If I could give negative stars I would have! TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED!

Yelp
My husband and I had such a wonderful time! We started the evening with the pork bites as our appetizer, which were so yummy I could've ordered another round. We ordered the Filet Perry and the New York Strip as our entrees with a shared potato gratin (so gooey and yummy) as our side. The steaks were cooked to perfection. I always appreciate when the staff has us check the temperature of our steak as soon as it's delivered! The atmosphere was perfect for a date night/birthday celebration. Our server was Savannah and she did such a wonderful job, just the absolute kindest. We chose the Perry Reserve Pinot Noir and it paired so nicely with our dinner. Dessert was the cheesecake and bread pudding. Thank you Perry's for an evening filled with great food and a good birthday memory! Will definitely be returning with friends!

Yelp
The food is very good. The ambiance is also very good. It depends on who your waitstaff person is as to what experience you will have. Some can be a bit pretentious and aloof. It's not inexpensive by any means so be prepared. A good experience if you're looking for something top of the line. We go there on occasion but not often.

Yelp
This Perry's location is beautiful; it is new, open and airy- yet elegant and appropriately dark, punctuated by lighter design notes and blueish green tones. The service was warm, caring and friendly. The Pork Chop is excellent! It has a flavor of exquisite smokehouse ribs - with the added element of an amazing pork chop. The smoked but carmelized glaze is phenomenally delicious. The filet mignon was excellent!
