Takeout and curbside pickup orders can be placed online or over the phone; there are Door Dash, Grubhub, and Uber Eats deliveries; and there are indoor and outdoor dine-in services." - Erin Russell

Our reservation was at 645 but they were running about 15-30 min behind. They also had 1500 reservations. Seems they were a little over booked and a little disappointed that they booked so many reservations and seemed to back up at the kitchen. Also I booked the patio and didn't get it. I ended up sitting at bar tables and it was so loud that I couldn't hear my husband talking. Definitely a little disappointed on that for Valentine's Day. No place to really stand and wait. But the food was absolutely amazing and the service was excellent. The preset menu was lobster tails , fillet, mashed potatoes and veggies also the wedge signature salad is scrumptious..Definitely enough food for 4 . The wine was good. But for a glass I think 56.00 is a little high. Definitely will definitely be back just not for a holiday.

We had an amazing experience at Perry’s! Our server, Kearstyn, was kind, beautiful and provided an amazing experience for our 10 year anniversary. We tried the steak and tater tot bites as our starter, so good!! The steaks were delicious and cooked to perfection, the portion size was generous! We took the white chocolate cheesecake home, def recommend! The manager also came around to check on our experience which was nice. Thank you for an amazing night!

Last night, we celebrated our anniversary with our first dinner here. The atmosphere was both fancy and comfortable. The hostess at the front desk was incredibly sweet and complimented our attire. Our table was beautifully prepared with rose petals to mark the occasion. Our waitress, Abby, was very attentive and friendly, providing insightful recommendations and helping us choose the perfect drinks. We were even greeted by Assistant General Manager Kristin. Every dish, from the appetizers to the complimentary dessert, was delicious. We can’t wait to return for more wagyu and try the Jubilee cake Abby raved about!

Birthday Dinner at Perry’s Steakhouse – Richmond, VA (Short Pump) For my birthday, my wife treated me to Perry’s Steakhouse in Short Pump, Richmond. The restaurant was packed, so we started at the bar while waiting for our table. Despite the crowd, the service remained smooth and accommodating. Drinks: I kicked things off with the Bourbon Bloom, a fruity but well-balanced cocktail. It had just the right amount of sweetness, allowing the whiskey and mint to shine without being overpowering. I’d highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys dark liquor but prefers a smooth, sippable drink. Next, I tried the Perry’s Hog-Hattan, which came with a pork chop skewer. I wasn’t a fan of the pork, but my wife loved it. As for the drink, it was a standard Manhattan—nothing groundbreaking, but a solid option for those who prefer a classic, unsweetened cocktail. Food: For appetizers, we had the grilled oysters, which were perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. For my main course, I went with a NY Strip, paired with mac and cheese with king crab. Both were phenomenal—rich, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Pricing & Service: Perry’s is definitely on the pricier side, with a full meal (apps, entrees, and a couple of drinks each) ranging between $200-$300. However, the experience and quality make it worth the splurge. One standout aspect was the service. Our waiter, Logan, was incredibly attentive. When my steak initially came out well-done instead of medium, he promptly addressed the issue. The manager personally brought out the correct order and was extremely polite and professional. Final Thoughts: Perry’s Steakhouse is a high-end dining experience with top-tier service, well-crafted cocktails, and expertly prepared food. While the price reflects the upscale nature of the restaurant, the quality and attention to detail make it a great choice for special occasions. Highly recommend for anyone looking to celebrate in style.

Our party had eight people in it. We arrived at 4:00 p.m. to receive the senior menu. The food was exceptionally prepared served hot and delicious. Our waitress, Riley was exceptional. The manager visited our table several times and when he delivered the pork chop to me he explained how it was prepared and what might be the best way to enjoy it. We also had the corn brulee which was amazing. Wonderful experience and we highly recommend Perry's.

We had a great experience at Perry’s! Parking was a bit challenging since it was a busy Friday night, and I’m not a fan of valet, but it’s nice that they offer the option for those who prefer it. Once we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and even opened the door for us. We were seated in under a minute, which was impressive given how busy they were. One of the managers immediately came by to fill our water and let us know that Jacob would be our server. Jacob was fantastic—he briefly explained the menu, which was helpful since it was our first visit and the menu has quite a bit of detail. The food was excellent, from the fresh and crisp wedge salad to the delicious entrées. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the shrimp and lobster tails were juicy and full of flavor. To top it all off, their white chocolate cheesecake was fantastic—a must-try! The restaurant itself is beautiful and modern, with an open kitchen that adds to the inviting atmosphere. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience and highly recommend Perry’s!

Google
Perry’s Restaurant in Richmond delivered a truly exceptional dining experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and attentive service. The atmosphere was inviting, with a perfect balance of elegance and comfort. But the real star of the show was the food. Each dish was a masterpiece, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. The flavors were vibrant and well-balanced, showcasing the chef's skill and passion. We started with the wedge salad which was absolutely divine. For our mains, the filet mignon and lobster were cooked to perfection. Even the brussel sprouts were fantastic. The staff were incredibly attentive, anticipating our needs and providing helpful recommendations. Our waiter Jacob was knowledgeable about the menu and eager to ensure we had a memorable meal. The pacing of the meal was perfect, allowing us to savor each course without feeling rushed. Overall, Perry's offers an exceptional dining experience. The combination of excellent food, impeccable service, and a pleasant atmosphere makes it a must-visit for any food lover in Richmond. We will definitely be returning soon.

Life has been life-ing, so this is a delayed review. A group of over 20 of us traveled from NoVa and NC to Perry's on 10/13 for group dining. I was preparing for a major surgery and had embarked on a "full belly tour " leading up to it with Perry's being the pinnacle stop. There were 2 young ladies who were assigned to our party room, and they were both amazing! They were extremely efficient and accommodating. The gentleman manager was a little disheveled and caused some confusion at times but not enough to drop a star because the overall experience was excellent. We dined off the group menu, so we had preset options that allowed everyone to choose between like 5 entrees, but best believe, we were mostly there for the world-famous pork chops! They were so, so good! The ambiance at Perry's is great, and they have plenty of room for group dining. It's definitely a place I look forward to going back to!

Yelp
Came here for the first time in Jan to take my best friend out for her birthday dinner. I highly recommend making reservations ahead of time because the dinner rush is no joke. Be prepared to park a little further too because it can definitely get packed! I was the first to arrive and waited for about 10 mins after reservation to be seated. It was actually perfect in this situation because the weather was pretty bad and my friends were running slightly late. We were seating by the bar/high top tables and were taken care of from beginning to end. Our server had a very unique name and I'm sad that I forgot it but he was fantastic and took very good care of us. We started out with delicious cocktails and took our time to decide what to get for our main and sides. I may have done my research before and was told to get their signature Porkchop dish and my friend got their filet mignon. For sides, we decided on their Au Gratin potatoes and Sweet sriracha brussel sprouts. My other friend got their pasta and their Cherry pepper calamari. The presentation was there for the entree and side dishes. I thought their calamari was just ok but glad we got to try it! My friend said that she thought the steak was good but not like crazy incredible. As for the Porkchop - THAT was a beautiful presentation, I loved how they sliced it at our table and the season and sauce was perfection on that. I was not disappointed with my decision! The sides were seriously perfect size to share with 3 friends. The au gratin was creamy and delicious cheesy, and the brussel sprouts was a nice kick of veggies to enjoy as a side. For the finale, my friend got a free dessert and it was big enough for the whole table! Their Rocky Road Bread Pudding was AMAZING! Don't be intimidated by their large toasted marshmallow but it was perfect when it came out. Each bite was delicious and the center had the chocolate bits that just hit the spot....you ladies know what I'm talking about if you have a sweet tooth spot! haha The service really made a huge difference. The food was pretty good and I wouldn't mind coming back - def a celebration spot. It is pretty expensive but worth to try at least once in Richmond!

Yelp
Perry's advertises themselves as a fine dining steakhouse and grille and it delivers. The restaurant itself is beautiful, elegant, and clean. The service was friendly. Upon arriving the doors are opened for you. Reservations are recommended and can be made on OpenTable. It's open daily for dinner and open for lunch only on Fridays. The lunch menu offers smaller portions at cheaper prices. We tried the Perry's Pork Chop Friday Lunch Special. The portion was still massive but we were surprised by how quickly it was served. We noticed it wasn't hot, even though it was served on a hot plate. One of our pork chops was amazing and the other was dry. Despite that, the flavor was really good. We also ordered the three-cheese mac and cheese, which was the highlight of the meal. It was so rich and I would 100% get it again. I'd be interested in going back for their social hour from 4-6:30pm on Sunday through Friday with select $9 appetizers, cocktails, and wines. They also have several rooms for private parties.

Yelp
I wasn't blown away by my experience on Thanksgiving, which was a bummer for the sticker price. It was cold that day, and they tried to seat us along the row of half booths closest to the door. I asked if we could be farther away from the door and they said sure....and moved us to the other side of the exact same row of half booths, behind the exact same table I asked to move away from. Sorry, what? I was going to deal, but my mom wasn't thrilled to put it lightly, so she went back up and again asked to be farther away from the door. They then put us at a table next to the same row of half booths. Slightly farther into the restaurant, but it certainly wasn't warm there either. I had booked my reservation very far in advance, but I guess that doesn't matter for seating placements on a holiday. It was my first visit there or I would've ensured I included a note in the reservation to be as far away from the door as possible. Our server was okay, pretty rushy-rush but generally nice. The Thanksgiving meal was also okay. I enjoyed my salted caramel espresso martini more than my entree. I also enjoyed the butternut squash soup more than the entree. The sausage and sage stuffing was extremely spicy, which you wouldn't necessarily expect for a Thanksgiving meal. I guess they were trying to add zest to the plate, but it really didn't feel like the right time or place to do so. The turkey was smoked so certainly not traditional, but not terrible either. I did like the mashed potatoes. My mom was served the wrong white wine but the server made it right when she brought it to his attention. We opted against dessert. Overall, I'm not sure I'd want to return to Perry's in the future. For the price, you'd expect a "wow!" experience from them, but it was all pretty average.

Yelp
An underwhelming experience. I attended a presentation at Perry's in one of their private rooms. The appetizers were good overall, but nothing awe-inspiring. By the time our meals came out the presentation was over and we had been waiting over an hour. The steak wasn't flavorful at all and everything was incredibly over seasoned. They need to work on timing the courses for group dinners so that everyone gets served in a timely manner.

Yelp
I recently enjoyed a delightful lunch date with some friends at the renowned Perry Steakhouse and Grill, and let me tell you, we went all in on their famed pork chop lunch--and it was absolutely worth it! From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by a charming hostess whose warm smile made us feel like VIPs. After confirming our reservation, she led us to a lovely table that set the stage for a great meal. Our waitress continued the trend of fantastic service; she was not only friendly and accommodating but also gave us a moment to catch up before diving into orders. When she returned, we expressed our eagerness for the pork chop lunch, and she happily obliged. While we waited for our drinks, she surprised us with some hot, fresh bread slathered in butter that was nothing short of heavenly. Then came the main event! Our plates arrived, steaming hot and beautifully presented. Every bite of the pork chop was perfection, and we relished not just the food but also the joyful camaraderie around the table. If you're a first-timer, I can't recommend coming for lunch enough. Treat yourself to that incredible pork chop! And don't forget to bring your family and friends back for more--Perry's is perfect for any special occasion!

Yelp
Went to Perry's for the first time on New Year's Eve. I typically do not like trying a new place on a busy holiday, but boy, did Perry's deliver an amazing experience! We got there early and had expertly prepared drinks at the bar. The server was friendly and made some excellent recommendations. We sat at a high top in the bar area, great choice IMO! Our server Lidia greeted us with a pleasant smile and explained the holiday 3 course menu. Her recommendations were also excellent. The pork chop is hands down the BEST I have ever tasted. All the food came out hot and exactly as we ordered. Even though the price tag was a bit high, the food was deliciously prepared and service excellent. I will go back again.

Yelp
Went to Perry's to enjoy their National Pork day offer. Supreme value for money! Food was delicious. Had their new menu item white bean chili as a starter. And continued with their famous pork chop for main. What a treat! The pork chop was huge even if it was the lunch cut. My party and I shared the desserts, being the orange cheesecake a crowd favorite! Service was very attentive and the restaurant is gorgeous. Only issue was the freezing cold AC! Made the dinner slightly unpleasant as we just wanted to leave in the end.

Yelp
I just want to take a moment and write and updated review. Based on my last review you would think I may be reluctant to come back, but I would say customer service is 100% on point. Kristina the corporate manager reached out to me and offered a gift card for each my friend and I for our wine troubles. At any rate we went back during Father's Day and the meal was absolutely amazing. We are planning another trip during the holidays. Steak and pork chop is hands down the best in the area.

Yelp
Hubs brought me here recently for my birthday/date night. We opted for the $44 special, which is a great deal and gives a lot of insight into a lot of their items. We started with the salmon crostini for me and the steak potato tot things for Hubs. Luckily, they come in a two piece, so we each got to try one. The steak one was so good. It was rich, the steak was like butter, had a bit of a crunch. It was perfect. The salmon crostini fell a little flat for us because although the flavor was good, the toast was ROCK hard. Like, painfully hard. It was too big to eat in a single bite, but too hard to cut. It hurt my teeth, so we would pass on it and just get the tater tot things next time. Next, hubs had the pear and field green salad, while I had the Caesar. The pear salad is perfect. The field greens are kinda peppery and the good kind of bitter, the fruit goes so well with it! The dressing is amazing. We loved it. The Caesar was good, but I sort of wish it wasn't garnished with anchovies because it puts it over the top salty. When they are just blended into the Caesar dressing, it sort of mixes in a little better and spreads out, which we liked better than the overly salty bits with the anchovies. I would probably order this again, but ask them to not put the garnish anchovies, except the pear salad is amazing and perfect. We will both just opt for it next time. Next course, we both opted for the lunch portion of the pork chop and it is PHENOMENAL. It is a huge 18 oz, the gentleman who cuts it table side to separate the ribs from the... whatever the other parts are... said that they smoke it for 6+ hours, and then put sugar on it to caramelize. It is perfect. It is served with the most delicious applesauce that they make in-house. I cannot think of enough adjectives to describe how good the pork chop is. We ordered two of the sides for two, each are $15. The corn soufflé and the roasted cabbage. We both loved the corn soufflé, it was sweet, savory, creamy, a little spicy... it was so good and definitely worth it. I liked the cabbage, but Hubs did not. The char on it was a little aggressive, so he found it really bitter, and the cheese sauce was good, but a little too salty. I liked it, since cabbage is one of my favorite vegetables, but I didn't love it. I did like the addition of hazelnuts on it though. That was very unique and tasty. We also both ordered a salted caramel espresso martini for $16 each. I love a good espresso martini, but I sort of wish they left out the salted caramel because it was just so... thick and sweet tasting. I found the caramel pretty cloying. I'm also not sure if it was an intentional garnish, or if we just got the bottom of the espresso carafe, but there were so many coffee grounds that it had to be intentional. Which I just personally didn't like. I will definitely order one of the other tasty options next time. Maybe. $16 is probably comparable to the other martinis in this area, just not sure if I would spend $16 on a single drink next time. Moving on, I ordered the chocolate crunch tower for dessert and Hubs got the orange vanilla cheesecake. I loved them both, but Hubs isn't a huge Nutella fan, so he preferred his. The tower was super trendy and cool, it is a pyramid of Nutella fudge type bites, with the tastiest bit of peanut brittle I have ever had. I was torn between demolishing the entire tower there, or taking it home to my Nutella-loving kiddos. The cheesecake is so unique and delicious. It tastes like an orange creamsicle cheesecake, which was awesome. The jelly texture of the orange is really cool, the cheesecake was perfect, it had a super light layer of whipped cream on the top. It is so unique and delicious, I will definitely order it next time. The service is next level. Our server was so helpful and friendly, a nicely dressed gentleman who I assume is some form of manager is constantly walking the section to make sure everything is okay, the gentleman cutting the meat is very good at his job. They even bring lavender moist towels so you don't have smoky pork rib hands for the rest of the evening. The attention to every little detail is superb. After tip, the meal came to about $200, so it is definitely a birthday/special occasion type of place, but we loved it.

Yelp
Not worth the money to me since most of the dishes are easy to make at home. The ribeye and stuff mushrooms were great. Everything else was good but not anything that would make me crave Perry's. Here's our experience: I made a reservation for Father's Day on the Saturday night before. We arrived for our reservation and were promptly greeted and sat. The place was rocking and they had only been open for a short time. Our reservation was at 5:30...too early but there weren't any later reservations. Our server greeted us and brought water. Bread and butter was dropped off by another person shortly after. Our server came back and took drink orders. We ordered a bottle of red and an unsweetened iced tea. We also ordered our appetizers...stuffed mushrooms and the spinach salad with warm bacon vinaigrette. Appetizers arrived before the drinks. When our server brought the wine he brought the wrong bottle but I told him it was fine. The iced tea tasted a little like iced coffee. It was interesting. The spinach salad was too sweet but if it had a little more acid and something crunchy it would have been good. I'll try to replicate it at home and make it more to my taste. The stuffed mushrooms were great. I liked the red pepper coulis. For entrees I ordered lamb chops medium rare and my husband got the ribeye medium rare. We ordered mushrooms, loaded mashed potatoes and grilled veggies as sides. When it came out my lamb was medium well and the sauce was super sweet. I wasn't going to say anything about the lamb being over but to his credit, the server noticed and got it remade. I asked for the remake to not have the sauce. My husband's ribeye was perfect and it was good! I snuck a bite and wish I had ordered a steak. All of the sides were good but it was so much food. It took a while for the lamb to come but it was cooked perfectly when it showed up. The odd thing is the manager dropped it off and ran instead of asking me to cut into it to confirm it was cooked to the right temperature. One thing they could do to include is offer side plates for the shared sides. While I waited for the lamb I had to eat off of the sides themselves if we had been with other people it would have been awkward. To be fair the steak comes on a cast iron plate so it should be a standard practice to bring a plate on the side for the sides that are shared. I think Perry's is more of a 3.5 star experience for me based on the food and the overall experience. For the money I'd rather go eat something unique. I do hope they do well. I might come back for apps and drinks at the bar, but we have lots of options in Richmond.

Yelp
Overall, 4 out of 10 for several reasons..food is mediocre & had several issues. Parking in Shortpump is absolutely horrible. They burned several items & they offered a free dessert for the issues but now I see they charged me for it instead. Food took a long time to come out. Price is on the higher side & for as many issues as my party had..it's simply not worth the $900+ bill (party of 8) Smoky Rita- 10+ perfect combo The Strait Paloma-7 the grapefruit taste isn't much which was great Dirty Martini- 8, very strong Roasted Black Cod with Chorizo Crisp- 5, Cod was undercooked & extremely slimy in some areas, but the hassle-back potato's was perfection Surf & Turf Pasta- 5, Good dish, largeeee portion. Does not offer white sauce as an option, comes with a ton of tomatoes in the tomato basil sauce Pan Seared Scallops on bacon slab- 9 bacon slab is humongous & add a lot of flavor to the scallops Kids slider meal- arrived burnt, sliders were so black & hard..Manager saw it arrive & immediately removed it from table & stated they would remake Dessert Trio: seasonal cheesecake-10, lemon meringue square-7, chocolate crunch-1 Sides: Creamed Spinach- 4, extremely creamy / watery Sweet Sriracha Brussel Sprouts- Burnt!!! Highly disappointed...no taste of Brussel or sriracha, charcoal taste Loaded Whipped Potatoes- average, but no complaints Perry's Signature Fried Asparagus- 8 yummy side or appetizer, but can use more seasoning Raw Oysters-8 / Grilled Oysters-5 but they were more cheesy than grilled oyster taste or feel. Yelp
This new spot is a great (if $$$) addition to the short pump corridor worth a splurge for a special occasion or fancy date night out. There are many menu items featuring table side service like their signature pork chop that is carved table side and their table side flambéed desserts. I highly recommend the Filet Perry (medium rare). One of the most tender and flavorful filets I have ever eaten, it came wrapped with applewood-smoked bacon and was topped with jumbo lump crabmeat and Perry's Signature Steak Butter .

Yelp
We had amazing birthday here. We ordered the porterhouse for two. It wasn't my favorite and mainly because it had a lot going on with the cuts; nevertheless, it wasn't bad because my boyfriend enjoyed it. He also got a birthday cake on the house for his birthday. He loves this place and we will definitely be back.

Yelp
We packed a lot into an overnight trip but Perry's Steakhouse was the undisputed highlight! Again, I consider myself a fine steakhouse connoisseur and after searching my memory bank, I couldn't come up with a finer steakhouse than Perry's. This location is barely a month old so it was a great time to come. I asked my friend when did she become a 70yr old woman because we had 5pm reservations..WTH!! But that's all they had..LOL! From the earlier reviews, it's apparent they've worked out the kinks because everything was ON POINT! From the $5 valet, which is unheard of in the DMV, to the friendly hostesses and wait staff, to the atmosphere and food, Perry's left a brotha IMPESSED beyond words. I recently saw the pork chop on one of my Texas Yelp friend's page and thought to myself, if I was in Dallas I'd get that pork chop..LOL! Well lucky me, Richmond is only two hours from home. I have NEVER had a pork chop like Perry's. 32 ounces of pure joy. Cut table side into three sections, I will ALWAYS get this meal.. PERIOD. The taste and tenderness are unmatched! My friend had the lamb chops and she said without a doubt, it was the best lamb she's ever had. The lobster mac was delicious and the bacon wrapped jumbo shrimp was the perfect appetizer. Perry's is a 10 out of 10 and worth a trip to Richmond .. TRUST ME!

Yelp
From start to finish, everything was delicious. Simply put, you've gotta try it for yourself. Service-outstanding. Food-top tier delicious. Ambiance-simply beautiful. Great for solo, couple or group dining. I read several negative reviews but decided to try it myself. The only negative thing I can say is I wish there was location in DC. But until then, I'll gladly take that 2hr drive again and again. Porkchop bites were chef's kiss. Medium cooked fillet literally melts in your mouth. So tender, I could cut with a fork. And everything was seasoned to perfection. To top it off I had the seasonal cheesecake and I'm not a cheesecake fan, but it was absolutely delicious. Perry's, you've got a great thing going. Please keep it up and also please consider a DC location =)

Yelp
When first entering Perry's, I just felt like entering a timeless charm transporting into a different world!! with the dim lighting nice glass displays giving a very nice touch of modern luxury especially with the high ceilings and lights giving a off a soft glow.... Each table set is like FINE CHINA The service was amazing with an opening atmosphere definitely a great place to come to if you wanna celebrate or unwind 10/10 The food is FRESHHHH and I'm very picky. 10/10

Yelp
I recently learned about this newest restaurant in Virginia from an influencer from instagram. It came at a perfect time because we were looking for a place to go post-Valentine day. It's about 2 hours drive from Hampton Roads, but it is definitely worth it. We weren't disappointed. The ribeye steak seasoning stood out the most. It is very flavorful and delicious. The a la carte Brussels sprouts are my other favorite. If you like oysters, try their charbroiled oysters; they are also tasty. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and is very classy. The staff are also very attentive and pleasant.

Yelp
Came here looking for a fancier than usual restaurant, and this place did not disappoint. The place and ambience was beautiful, parking was plentiful, and service was top-notch (even had someone to open the door for us)! Ambience: The interior is decorated very tastefully, lights dimmed, and music playing in the background (not too loud). Every server was very kind and welcomed us to the restaurant. What we ordered: Upon sitting down, they gave us a bowl of hot bread slices and butter. Between my husband and I, we ordered the following: sparkling water, Cherry Pepper Calamari (starter), 3-Course Pork Chop Sunday Supper (came with French Onion Soup and Creme Brulee), Filet Mignon (8 oz.), whipped potatoes topped (fancy name for mashed potatoes), and another order of creme brulee. Review of the food: The calamari was delicious and came packed with peppers, so it was spicy. The French Onion Soup tasted great and the cheese on top made it better. 3-Course Pork Chop Sunday Supper was an entree to behold, it had came with so much more than expected! I loved eating this, but no way I could finish it in one sitting. My husband loved his Filet Mignon, but noted the burnt crust was very salty from the seasoning. Luckily he ordered the whipped potatoes and creme brulee to even out that saltiness. We love our creme brulee, and we're happy to report we enjoyed our creme brulees! Though it was delivered in a smaller proportion (shallow in the bowl) than we'd like. Other: The other notable things that we enjoyed was that our waters were topped off almost immediately after every sip, our waitress was very friendly and explained everything to us. She cleaned the crumbs off our table mid-way through our night, frequently gave us new utensils, and boxed up our food to-go for us! Also, rules on dress code and no disruptive behavior or being loud just made our experience more enjoyable. Cons: The only points I'd take away are 1. our entrees were slow to come out (our waitress did check in with the chef several times for an update) and 2. the salty crusts of the filet mignon. Conclusion: All in all, we had a great experience and wowed with how great the food and service was. This definitely isn't the place if you're concerned about the price of things. We're definitely coming back! PS: shout out to our waitress Nicole for the wonderful service!

Yelp
We really enjoyed our experience!! The place is beautiful with very attractive atmosphere. The food was delicious, everything we had (the photos of what we had are below) and the server was just on point with everything (his name was Naev (spelling ??)!! Very attentive, his recommendations didn't disappoint either. The service was perfectly timed and no issues with anything. We did have the manager come up to us as we were seated, letting us know that she will be taking care of us as well. She was great! It's very unfortunate that it wasn't the same experience for others, based on the negative reviews.

Yelp
We dined at Perry's last week and had a really enjoyable experience. Ron, our server was great- very personable and knowledgable. It is a pretty big space with comfortable seating. It was a little loud, so not as imtimate as other steakhouses. Seems like a large parking area, yet we were parked by red robin Alot of options on the menu. Sides are large and meant for sharing. Most steaks come in different size options Everything we had was fresh and perpared nicely. Service was timed well between courses What we ate: Martini 79 with blue cheese olives and an oyster on the half shell. Signature wedge Chateaubriand Three Ways: 8 oz. of Premium Center-cut Filet Mignon, sliced into 3 medallions and individually topped Oscar-style with jumbo lump crabmeat, 3-peppercorn au Poivre, and coffee crusted. Filet Mignon- blackened and blue The Three Kings Mignon: 8 oz. applewood-smoked bacon-wrapped Filet Mignon, the King of steaks, topped with King crab and Truffle butter, made from the King of mushrooms. Thick cut chargrilled vegatables My rating rationale +1 Service +1 Food~Taste/flavor/quality +1 Presentation +1 Atmosphere/vibe +1 Value

Yelp
Ambience - 5 stars Steaks - 5 stars Service -5 stars (ask for Bradford or his roommate) Lobster bisque - 5 stars The space is absolutely beautiful, offering an array of seating to cater to your mood. Fried asparagus - I would recommend it char grilled instead fried as is listed on the menu. 2/5 The crab cakes use jumbo lump crab, of course...always a win, but the crust was a bit overkill. I would rather the crab outshine the decoration. 4/5 The scallops were flavorful, just a bit overcooked and significantly smaller than expected for a restaurant of this caliber. The onion ring strings are such a delicious surprise on top! 3.9/5 The wagyu will melt in your mouth, as it should. 2 oz is enough for one, but if you'd like to share, go for 4 oz. 5/5 The broiled, seafood stuffed mushrooms were easily the best dish. The mushrooms were cooked perfectly and the mix of broiled seafood inside were minced with just the right amount of spices and the sauce didn't overpower or disappoint.5/5 My guest had the pork chop (7 layers of pork, y'all). I don't eat but just off the visuals and the huge whiff I got along with his 5/5 rating, you might want to give this a try. The filet is easily a safe bet for the non-adventurous eater (please don't order it well done). 5/5 Going back for the seafood tower, French onion soup, the filet beef & bleu, strip carpaccio and the strip flight. Our host, Bradford, was exceptional...made lots of recommendations, knowledgeable, patient, and kept everyone smiling at our table.

Yelp
Fantastic food and service. The steak flight was delicious. We had a great time and will be back!

Yelp
Perry's wow!!! Beautiful restaurant Great service, and food. Our server was truly amazing. I had the famous pork chop. So delicious - one of the best pork's I've ever had in my life. Tender, seasoned, smoky and caramelized. Just awesome!!! Nothing left to say.

Yelp
So I came back to give this place another chance. Primarily because they rock as a company. Someone not only read my review, they took the time to discuss my experience with me personally, which goes a long way. It showed to me that they care about the experience that their customers have. This time I was doing dry July, so not drinking at all. I orders the pineapple ginger ale as a beverage along with sparkling water. They promptly served me my bread which was warm with perfectly whipped butter served with it. Yum! We were off to a great start I ordered the field green and pear salad to start. It came out in a reasonable amount of time and was very tasty. I cleaned the plate! I ordered the chicken Oscar as I don't eat red meat. Now there are not many options for non red meat eaters here but there are a few seafood dishes, a vegan dish and a chicken dish. So I ordered the only chicken dish they offered, came out looking pretty good. It was very tasty as well. So I had a WAY better experience this time!! Thank you Perry's.

Mary A.

Yelp
After hearing rave reviews we decided to try Perry's for the $44 four course special for July. Reservations are needed and easily made online. Valet parking is available as is plenty of regular parking spaces. We self parked and were impressed when we walked up and both doors were held open for us by the valet and one of the hostesses. We were immediately greeted and impressed with the modern and elegant interior. Our server was friendly and provided good suggestions. The menu choices for special were great. Between the four of us we tried each of the second and fourth courses and had the seafood stuffed mushrooms and steak and tater totter first course. For the third course we had the pork chop and chicken oscar. All of the food was delicious and the presentation was fantastic. They carve the pork chop at the table.

Yelp
Amazing service, ambiance and food!!! Marco, the manager extremely attentive to the customer having an excellent dining experience, ensured that my filet mignon was cooked to perfection!! Bananas foster amazing!!!

Nicara B.

Yelp
I wish I could give this place more stars! Everything was absolutely amazing. From the time you were greeted when you walked in the door to the time you walked out, every single person that is employed there treated us as if they were genuinely happy to have us there. The chairs were very comfortable and the lighting was nice. I think the tables weee a little close together but it wasn't anything major. Someone at another table said something and the staff moved the tables over without hesitation and that was so nice. I'm not sure if it's a requirement for a non holiday weekend, but please make reservations. I'm glad we did! The place was packed!! Before I go into the food... the management checked on us a number of times with smiles every single time. The assistant GM Kristen, was so sweet... and our waitress Caroline, 10/10!!! She was sooo kind!!! Every single item on that table was delicious but let's just start with the fried asparagus. I will drive that hour back there in the middle of the day jusr to have that again. Fried evenly to perfection and then covered in the most delicious buttered crab!!! And not a little sprinkle of crab. It is jumbo lump buttery crab! WHEWWWW!!! Out of this world delicious!! We had the seafood tower! Lobster, oysters, shrimp, lump crab, and smoked salmon... definitely a 10/10!! My oldest daughter NEVER eats all of her food. She got the chargrilled salmon and ate every bite of it!! She said it was delicious with the cauliflower mash. I wanted to try it but she wasn't having it. The sides are to be shared. They are huge. We got the three cheese Mac n cheese and added the Alaskan king crab, the creamed spinach, and the corn brûlée and it was so much that we had leftovers to take home. I wasn't a fan of the creamed spinach because it tasted a little sweet but my family thought it was very good. The other two sides, 10/10. We didn't get any cocktails but we got a couple of mock-tails and absolutely delicious. Cucu-berry something.... I can't even remember what the drink was and my daughter got a pineapple ginger ale... both of them were very refreshing and delicious. For the main course, we got the smorgasbord!! 10/10. It came with the most tender cuts of meat!! 4 pork chops, a porterhouse, filet mignon, lamb chops, bacon wrapped shrimp, seafood stuffed mushrooms, and crab cakes. We all shared and it was more left over to take home. Now.... The prices... just be prepared.... This is fine dining. The website does have a local menu with prices so if that is something you are concerned about, i would check that out before making your reservations. But anyway... my man's birthday is at the end of the month and he has already expressed that this is where he wants to go... so we will be back!!!

Rich G.

Yelp
Nice decor. Make a rez because Perry's has been packed since they opened. We went one night with a familly of 4 to celebrate a birthday. Decent wine list. I'm cutting back on red meat so I went with the Chicken Oscar which was excellent. Big portions for all our entrees. We ended up taking boxes home because we couldn't finish everything.

Harold C.

Yelp
Love having a Perry's Steakhouse so close by. Working at home some Fridays so I was able to order the pork chop special, pick it up, and enjoy it at home with a great glass of wine. Less ambiance at home but I needed to work at home so this was a great treat!!

Ebony W.

Yelp
Perry's was a great vibe. From the server to lighting to the menu options. I ordered the escargot as an appetizer; amazing! My entree, the cod with the chorizo crisps was also pretty good. Some parts of the crisp or maybe the Parmesan crumbles were a bit salty but paired with the cod, it did balance itself out. The reviews from around the table were on the higher end with the exception of the echoed sentiment about the parmesan crumbles.

Angel H.

Yelp
Perry's Steakhouse was very upscale. The chicken was juicy and the Brussel sprouts were seasoned well. The Mac and cheese taste a lot better than it looks. The fish was great too.

Yelp
Yelp?!? Where is the option for more stars? Excellent, exquisite, classy, are all understated adjectives to describe our experience at Perry's Steakhouse. Valet, check. Ambiance, check. Service, check. Drinks, check. Food, check, check, and check!!! This may have been the best overnight staycation in Short Pump that started off with an earrrrly dinner here due to the popularity of this restaurant and limited reservation times on weekends. We started with drinks. The bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer was delicious. Eating those transported me back to Texas. The lamb chops were thick, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked. Without hesitation, the best lamb chops I've ever eaten. The world famous pork chop, sliced table-side melted in our mouths, no exaggeration. Our waitress Christie was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and share history of the restaurant and popular dishes. Interesting fact shared was that the restaurant it built around the broiler. The support waiter staff were also amazing and timely. A couple times management staff stopped by our table and asked about service, food, and often removed empty plates, glasses and even checked on our appetizers and drinks to keep a smooth flow in service. Perry's, you've found a friend in me! Dining here is definitely worth every penny.

Yelp
My husband and I celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary at Perry's Steakhouse & Grille. This was our first time here and we had a very nice server named Chauncey who took really good care of us. He was friendly and personable. The atmosphere was very cozy and where we were seated was good. On the table were rose petals which was a nice touch. We reviewed the menu prior to our visit just needed suggestions for our sides as to what tasted the best. We ordered (2) Dinner Cut Pork Chops, Loaded Whipped Potatoes and Spaghetti Squash Primavera which the sides are large enough to be shared. Let me tell you...everything was delicious! The Pork chops are exactly as pictured they are huge. They cut the meat in front of you and specify the different parts of the chop. The chop was so flavorful with a hint of barbecue sauce. It's so much meat that I promise you I will have it at least for the next 3-4 nights. The Whipped potatoes... I'm going to start serving my potatoes this way too...so good! The Spaghetti Squash Primavera was really good also the vegetables fall out there is a crunchy topping ...just nicely seasoned. I am a true hot sauce Tabasco girl...I didn't ask for any of that! We really enjoyed our time together. Kristin the Assistant General Manager came over to introduce herself and wish us well on our Anniversary. Just a very nice experience! Would definitely like to return.

Yelp
The service of the hostess when you enter is very welcoming and friendly. The ambiance is superb! The management team was on site and speaking to the patrons throughout my entire time there. The wait staff was phenomenal! The food was delicious. I truly enjoyed the seasonal menu. They have so many specials and specialties that you will have to come back several times to experience the entire menu. I'm giving only 4 stars instead of 5 only because the dress policy was not enforced. When you make your reservation..it informs you on how to dress at this upscale steakhouse. Unfortunately, so many patrons had on jeans and tennis shoes and they were not turned away or reminded of the dress code policy. I spoke to several of the managers about during my dining experience since I was definitely business casual. Some Patrons and including myself did adhere to the dress code but less than others. I would definitely come back here again for sure. Please try the pork chop bites..they are delish. Any issues that I had with my food..it was resolved ASAP. The service was top notch just like the food. One of the fastest growing upscale restaurant in short pump.

Yelp
We visited Perry's last night and let me tell you, it was everything you should expect when you are fine dining. We purposely set a time slot a little later in the evening so the rush was out of the way and this seemed to work perfectly. After arriving a shad early, we checked in and headed for the Bar. Full service area where you can choose to settle there. We each had a drink. I had the Smokey rite and the wife had some Gin thing :). She said it was just fine, mine was absolutely amazing. So before we were finished with our drinks, one of the Hosts arrived to let us know our table was ready but there was no rush. Super nice touch. We settled up and met up with the Host and with drinks in hand headed to the table. We both ordered another round and were told that Mr. Hogan would be our server and would be with us shortly. MR HOGAN!!! SIR! You truly defined our experience last night! I went over the menu before I arrived but the time you took to go over everything was 1st class! When you confirmed the Tuna Tartar was still available, was kind of all I needed, we knew from then on it was just going to get better. Mr. Hogan made sure that we were not RUSHED. Everything arrived in perfect stages. Wedge Salad we split, Frits (Like 8 HUGE wedges). We each got the Filet Mignon (8oz). Your brain is going to say, get the Béarnaise sauce, but for the love of GOD just try the Truffle Merlot Demiglace!! The sauce come on the side so just try it. After the 2nd Smokey Rita, MR Hogan helped me with their Perry's Pinot. After the Gin drink, Wifey had what they call a generous pour (we know it as a California pour!) of Stags' Leap Winery Cabernet and 'Les Légendes' by Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite. I not sure what else I can add other than make a reservation and ask to sit in Mr. Hogan's section. I'm sure all the other Professionals do just as well, but for me, the next time and there will be a next time, I'm asking for Mr. Hogan and that damn Tuna Tartar!

Yelp
My barber and a client said this place was the bomb!! Rolled in at 6:15 on a Friday night with no reservation, waited about 10 minutes and found a seat at the bar. The place was busy but with an adult professional atmosphere. Perry's hasn't been here long as the old Bar Louie was demolished and Perry's took its place. The cucumber blueberry martini, I was told, was fantastic! And that sweet tea in the background, was refreshing. The escargot, (yes, I tried it) was kinda tasty and the crab cakes, I was told, delicious!! The bread was warm with a nice crust and soft inside and very good. The Mac and cheese, though that bougie kind, was better than I expected. Finally, the filet mignon, after having to send it back once to get rid of that annoying pink interior (No, I don't like my cow raw!!!! Or 'seared on both sides...'), was GREAT!!! Tender and still juicy with great flavor. Priced to keep the riff-raff out, this is a very nice place to get some very tasty food and drinks and get your people watch on, Wow, lol. The hostess was on point, friendly, smiling and helpful. The food expeditor was very pleasant when returning my steak. I think at least two managers checked on us while looking after other patrons and assisting staff. Our bar tender was the initial weak link, with a slight attitude, but came around after experiencing some resting B****-face from someone who shall remain unmentioned. But you know what they say about first impressions.... All in all, this will be a spot we return to!! I would tell you to try it, but you might take my reservation time or seat at the bar.... No bueno!

Brandon E.

Yelp
The wife and I went for Friday lunch, the building, decor and ambience was very impressive. Our Appetizer(fried asparagus with crab) and salads (Caesar, wedge) were both delicious, main entrées prime ribeye, and their famous pork chop were also top notch. Because we were there for lunch, things were cheaper rather than being there for dinner. With all that being said, I would definitely go back and try other things on the menu and would recommend you do as well. My biggest disappointment is that there's no prime rib.

Latrice G.

Yelp
I received mixed reviews about this restaurant, but decided to go to judge for myself, and was pleasantly surprised. The service and ambiance were great. The portions were big enough to have a takeaway bag and everything tasted great.

Danielle W.

Yelp
We dined here to celebrate Valentine's Day. Our first time so we tried everything... apps, entree, sides and d drinks. The steaks were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The sides were equally delicious. Our table had filet Perry, ribeye bone in and ribeye bone out. For sides, we had Mac n cheese, grilled veggies and Brussel sprouts. Drinks were great especially the old fashioned. The service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive and prompt with our service from beginning to end. The (one of the) manager came over and told us our food was running a little behind and he wanted us to be aware and keep open communication. We appreciated him taking the time to do so although the music, restaurant vibe and good company helped the time go by. We will definitely return and spread the word on one of our newest favorite dining locations in town!

Whitney R.

Yelp
What can I say... Perry's is very much an experience. If I want fine dining, this is where I would go. We a minor hiccup as we had a reservation for 4 at 6:45. We arrive and let them know and they said some of your party has already been seated. I was like umm... it's for 4 and we're all right here. Lol luckily they had a table available. They had only been open a little over a week so... I didn't expect service to be super fast. The entire experience was over 2 hours but we didn't mind. Now - on to food. Apps - we had calimari, seafood stuffed mushrooms, and the steak tater bites. They actually bought us out an additional plate of the steak tater bites (I think because the steak was over cooked on the first ones) which was appreciated. Either way - both were good. Loved the calamari and my boyfriend devoured the mushrooms! And how could I forget the pork chop bites. Omg... best pork chop I've had. I also had the chopped salad which is large enough for multiple people. For dinner - I had the snapper. It was good but I would 100% get a steak next time. My boyfriend got the steak flight. When I tell you that Wagyu melted in your mouth so so good. The others in our party had the southwestern filet which was a special and then the redfish. The restaurant it's self is dimly lit. The bar and outdoor patio are beautiful.

Stuart T.

Yelp
All of it is delicious! Tonight I ordered brussels sprouts, asparagus with jumbo lump crab meat, crabcakes with teeny tiny, french fries, escargot with crositini, pork chop bites with applesauce and barbecue sauce, crème brûlée, and a big round of bread. My husband went there 2 nights before and had the pork chop with applesauce. The pork chop was the best pork chop I've ever had in my entire life.

Michael N.

Yelp
First week open so the place was packed, service was up to standards and food was amazing. I had the bone in cowboy and the flav was good.

C P.

Yelp
My wife and I had our anniversary dinner here. The filet mignon was very well prepared (medium rare), and the brussels sprouts were great. The Mac and cheese wasn't traditional and had an interesting backend taste. It would have probably been better with fish. Regardless, you could still taste the quality. The service was outstanding. The waiter did an excellent job, and two managers even came by to check on us and thank us for choosing their restaurant. As a surprise, the waiter brought us their orange vanilla cream cheesecake for dessert and also brought out the dessert menu in case we didn't like it. Of course, we liked it . Their website states that the dress code is business casual but they don't seem to adhere strictly to it. The atmosphere at 6pm on a Saturday was what I would expect. It was mix of couples, families and what appeared to be business/post golf dinner. I had a few people tell me you will think you aren't in Richmond. But I disagree, well maybe the mgmt staff reminded me of how a Ny restaurant treated a few years back. We will definitely be going back. I need to try that seafood tower

Eleanor T.

Yelp
Let me begin by acknowledging that this is OUR experience and this review is completely about our first time @Perry's and may not be the experience of others. Our table was a table of 3. VERY swanky, truly. Dimly lit to perfection and likely the most comfortable seats we have ever had in a dining establishment. However, the tables are WAY too close to each other. As we sat and looked around, we watched the servers spend a lot of time navigating in the sea of very close tables, way too close. We felt for them honestly. The noise level was not to terrible considering the close proximity to all of the other diners. The aesthetics were amazing and one main draw back was that all of the ppl waiting to be sat were literally packed into the foyer/host stand area which had very little room for even standing let alone sitting. It was very crowded and ppl had to continue to move their position to allow all of the servers to get by and other customers. Nice white tablecloths on the tables was a nice touch. There is bread service which is very good and warm. We ordered an appetizer (Calamari) and we do NOT recommend it because it is chocked full of hot peppers and a strange butter topping of some sort. It was weird. Now when it came to our main meal, 2 filet dinners and a salad and soup dish, hands down and this is no joke, the best filets we have EVER had and if you know my reviews, there have been a many. Seriously, the best. However, they do what is called a "shared" side dish situation and let me just say go easy on that ordering of the side dishes to share because they are very large (in our opinion) but very very good. The salad and soup dish ordered was so laden with their dressing it was not ideal and the soup (Lobster Bisque) was less than luke warm. So not great but edible. The 2 side sides to share that we ordered was loaded baked potato and creamed spinach, both were very tasteful. Would recommend. Now on to the server we had. Nice young man, really but he was so serious and sterile in his exchanges with us. He could have been more engaging and friendlier so that was a disappointment. He was good and proficient but just too serious. The manager Kristen came to our table, she was very nice and so accommodating, we love her! We did order dessert and all rec'd pumpkin cheesecake (it was their special of that evening). SCRUMPTIOUS is all we can say! So with all of that said, our bill for 3 was a whopping $292.00 +tip. Quite the charge but still worth it to try yourself.

Penney T.

Yelp
My husband called to make a dinner reservation. The time he requested could not be accomodated. He was asked for a credit card to reserve a seat at " The Bar"?? Why? This has never happened at Bookbinder's, Hondos, Fleming and other fine dining establishments. Is Perry's that unique? If so, we can continue to go elsewhere in Shortpump/Richmond.

Melodie G.

Yelp
The Service was pretty good food was really excellent, yes $100 lunch for one person but I will definitely be back. It's not an every week thing but worth it for the portion size

H R.

Yelp
The food, service and ambiance were superb. I ordered the crab cakes and the pork chops. The latter I ate for the next couple of days. It was perfectly cooked and reheat had no impact to the taste. Will definitely return,

Robin J.

Yelp
The ambiance was just right for a special occasion. I loved my seating in the patio area with the two fireplaces lit. My food was well seasoned and came out in a reasonable time. I would come back.
