Pestana CR7 Gran Vía

There is a 1 star review that was done 3 months ago by Irving. I totally agree with her. I am attaching her comment. All happened to me while staying here. Room superior is not superior at all. There is staff room next to it and you have to wake up with noise every morning. The room is so small that you have no space for your luggage or your clothes. The shower is designed for disability access and all floor gets wet when you take a shower because there is no glass or shower curtain. You have to leave the towels in the floor so that you will not slip over. The shower floor was dirty and the room needs some paint work. The windows are looking to inside of the building so you have no view at all. You don’t get this info while booking so be careful.The location is good but I won’t prefer this hotel again at all.

We had a Premium Room on the 8th Floor, it was well appointed and had complimentary water in the chiller which was replenished each day, there is a very nice rooftop bar with some great views and a small but comfortable Sun lounge area on the 10th with plunge pool, again with great views over the City & beyond. All in all a great stay with polite & attentive team members on hand..

The check in process was easy. |The staff at the front desk were helpful and spoke English - which was helpful. |Our room was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable.|Being right on Gran Via, it did get a little noisy outside at night but nothing too crazy. |There was water, coffee and tea available in our room. |Nice place for a quick departure to the airport in the morning.

All I have to say is the CR7 Madrid team is setting the bar really high! They definitely know what hospitality is all about. I have stayed here twice and it’s been great both times, so much so that I will look for CR7 hotels in my future travel plans. Thank you for everything!!

Once again. Perfect. Good location, exceptional service.|This is my 3rd time here and as the others times ever I was clean cut. The personal always with good actitud. This hotel has one of the best locations, it’s in the middle of the gran via, walking distance to all the city center.

Totally unsuitable hotel for travelling ended up getting a special needs room, tried with reception to relocate only to be told ours was a bigger room than any other available. So preserved leaving all our toiletries on bathroom floor because no shelves in bathroom. No hanging space for clothes, so left everything in suitcase. TV didn’t work and lift took forever to arrive on any floor. Just one thing after another!!! Avoid !!!

Good option with some major caveats depending on your priorities. Pros: excellent location, decent enough hotel overall. Cons: pool is in fact a pond, not a pool. Hotel is in need of some refurbishment, room ambient light was falling and a several details in walls and halls of the hotel. You can literally hear everything that happens in the halls, so if you’re a light sleeper I definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
