Peter's park is cute -- but it could be better. During the week it is mostly dog walkers (who are, thankfully, pretty responsible).
Over the weekend, specifically a Sunday when I experienced this, there was a HORRID group of owners and their hyperactive, untrained, unsocialized frenchies for a frenchy meet up. They all huddled into the small dog section and their dogs were clearly miserable and reactive, attacking each other, and went after my dogs completely unprovoked. Call me a snob, but I stay far, far away from those "meet ups." It is a recipe for disaster.
The gravel is terrible and is only friendly to giant dog paws, like labradors or bernards, etc. I wish it was finer gravel or dirt or fake turf like the ARL park. My dogs can't enjoy it because of the gravel alone and do a lot better at the ARL park. However, the rocks are really cool! They love those. :)
