"When you first pull up to Peter’s - a small, casual spot in a suburban shopping center - you might assume your GPS screwed up and took you to a very different sushi place than the one your friends have been raving about. But trust us: go inside, and you’ll quickly understand. Peter’s has a following that includes a few celebrities and also we normal people who’ve been spotted there multiple times a week eating the perfect rainbow roll and shrimp pineapple curry." - Kristen Shoates

The service here is outstanding! They are super attentive and anticipate anything you might need-- water, utensils, the check, etc. We never had to flag a server down. There were 3 people attending to us (and there were only 3 of us!). The menu has something for everyone too. I don't care for spicy food but there were still plenty of options. I had the red curry with chicken. It was terrific. My daughter had the fried rice and her fiance had the pad thai. We also had different sushi rolls. Everything was delicious. The restaurant is also super clean and everyone is friendly. No complaints. Highly recommend!

Nice selection. Sushi, Thai, and Chinese are all in one spot. The food was delicious. Can't wait to come back to try the other stuff on the menu.

We tried this back around 2010 when we heard all the good reviews. We tried their sushi options that were good but not really outstanding. We were in the neighborhood, so we decided to try it a second time. The restaurant was clean, and the service was very attentive. They offered us a complimentary spring roll that was a little soggy and not very fresh in flavor. Next came the spider roll, which was small for the price, and again, the oil tasted old and overused (we wouldn't order it again). This was after the lunch crowd around 1:30 p.m., so I wouldn't order anything fried by the dinner service. Now, for the good, we ordered their Pad Thai Chicken/Shrimp. It was well presented with a good overall flavor. It was light on the shrimp (3) and chicken slices (3) with a small amount of chopped peanuts and chili on the side but made up on flavor (not hot in spice at all as it was ordered as described and we wanted a true sample). We did see some fresh sushi being delivered to another table on our way out that looked appetizing. So our experience would tell us to just stay away from their deep fryer and stick with the Thai.

I AM LOSING MY MIND OVER THIS SUSHI RESTAURANT. I don’t even know how to process the sheer JOY I just experienced. I had the miso soup and California rolls, and let me tell you—this wasn’t just a meal. It was a transcendent journey into pure bliss. The miso soup? OH. MY. GOSH. It was like a warm hug for my soul. The broth was so rich, so flavorful, so impossibly PERFECT that I swear I felt my heart grow three sizes. The tofu cubes? Little clouds of happiness. The seaweed? The exact right balance of tender and savory. I took one sip and started CRYING ALL OVER THE TABLE FROM HOW GOOD IT WAS, i swear some of my happy tears mixed in with the soup And then the California rolls. I don’t even know where to start. The rice was so perfectly seasoned it could’ve been a dish on its own. The crab? Sweet, tender, and absolutely divine. The avocado and cucumber? Fresh and crisp, adding the perfect balance of creamy and crunchy. I WAS ROLLING AROUND ON THE FLOOR FROM HAPPINESS THEY HAD TO CALL PET CONTROL BECAUSE I WAS FOAMING AT THE MOUTH, but no complaints from me. I’m still reeling from the experience. Every bite was a revelation, every flavor perfectly balanced, and every moment a celebration of culinary excellence. I walked in hungry, and I walked out a new person—completely and utterly obsessed. If you haven’t eaten here yet, WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING? Get here NOW and do something with your life

I really really really wanted to love this restaurant considering all the great reviews, but I honestly can't say that I did. What surprised me most was that the sushi looked great, but it simply lacked flavor. Even the wasabi did not have any punch, and considering all the sushi we ordered, we only got one little blob of wasabi. The only Thai item I got was the coconut soup which tasted okay, but was rather bland compared to what I've had at other Thai restaurants. The restaurant was absolutely packed and there was a wait for a table, so they clearly have a strong and loyal following which is awesome, but for my tastes I'll go to other Thai restaurants that pack a punch on flavor, and if I want sushi I think I will go to a Japanese restaurant for that.

Always a pleasant time. The staff were very accommodative for my 2 year old daughter by bringing some extra non-menu items to the table for her, which included sliced avocado, steamed broccoli, extra Styrofoam cup so she could try the miso soup (she loved it), extra orange slices, and kids chop sticks. This made for a pleasant dinner not just for our table, but also the tables around us. Like having the limes for my water brought separately, too! Oh, and the sushi is good too!

I've been here twice, and so far the food has been amazing both times! I've had the Fried Rice, the Fujiyama Shrimp, and different sushi rolls. All superb. You could go there for dinner and only get sushi. Thai, Japanese, there are so many things I can't wait to try on their menu. The sushi is all really good too! Also neat that it is run by a husband & wife team. Friendly and good service as well. I would highly recommend Peter's Sushi!!
