Looking at this place, it looks like a typical California beach/surf restaurant like you'd see in Santa Cruz or Half Moon Bay. You can eat outside within earshot of the ocean waves, which is a big plus.
Salmon poke bowl was excellent with perfect salmon and fresh ingredients. I actually couldn't find the salmon when I got it, thinking the salmon was nice ripe tomatoes -- it was just that great quality. Salmon was very tasty, macadamia's were a nice addition.
Miso glazed salmon looked like it would be typical overcooked and dry, but it was better than any grilled salmon I've ever tasted.
The buffalo wings were not spicy, but the taste of the wings themselves was surprisingly better than any buffalo wings I've ever had -- extremely tasty, so I just forgot they weren't spicy enough.
The deep fried philly sushi was good, but not my thing. They had what was needed to enjoy any of the sushi on the menu.
All in all, it was good enough to take the leftovers to go, which is better than most restaurants.
And, the drinks were obviously mean to be the highlight. 8 craft beers on tap, great cocktails including the "Painkiller" (yeah, it killed it), the "Singapore Sling" (excellent ingredients), and lime margaritas. The people who had the margaritas commented that they were too strong -- but they gave it to them to go! That's service! And obviously, you get what you pay for, no watered down drinks.
